Restaurant Magnolia's in Wijk 05 Purmer-Noord

We stayed in a nearby studio and had lunch on the first day, and the service was excellent. We were served with great joy, friendliness, and promptness. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The next day we also stopped for a few beers, and the atmosphere was incredibly fun and relaxed. There were beautiful views of the golf course and lots of wildlife. Perfect. Thank you very much.

3:30 PM on the terrace, service finally arrived at 3:50 PM. Ordered drinks and menu. 4:00 PM menu and drinks arrived. Placed an order for appetizers and fries. Asked three times where our menu order was. Left the restaurant at 4:50 PM without paying. Patio chairs were uncomfortable. Restrooms in the lobby... Couldn't breathe the urine smell...

Wij hebben al eerder nare ervaringen gehad met het personeel. Dat je zes keer moet roepen om geholpen te worden etc., wat een hooghartigheid. Als je een hoge Piet van de golfclub bent verandert ineens de gehele entourage. Vanavond was het weer net zo. Wat zijn ze toch sjiek voor zichzelf! Maar niet voor mensen uit de buurt. Ik heb ze nog een laatste kans gegeven vandaag maar voor ons nooit meer helaas want de keuken en plek is goed.

On January 25th, I reserved a table for four (online) at Magnolia. When we arrived, we found the restaurant undergoing renovations. These renovations weren't mentioned on the website. A receptionist was very surprised that I had managed to reserve a table. She reported this to her manager. Two days later, nothing had happened; the website was still the same.

A very, very disappointing Christmas brunch. Absolutely awful. What a poor affair. Never again!

Na lange tijd hier weer gegeten en viel niet tegen, qua kwaliteit van het eten. Nou kon het de laatste keer niet veel slechter (zelfs het gebakken ei was toen niet gaar). Mijn nasi was prima. Alleen erg jammer dat er weinig vegetarisch is en dat de vegetarische nasi met kroepoek wordt geserveerd. Het andere vegetarische gerecht is de geitenkaassalade. De bediening is onervaren maar enthousiast. De ambiance is nog armoediger dan bij ons vorige bezoek. De toiletten, met name het heren toilet, is ronduit smerig en de vuilniszak die anderhalf jaar geleden er al hing, hangt nog steeds over een defecte pisbak. Onderhoud dus nihil.

Samen met een vriendin van de High Tea genoten. Leuk hoe de verschillende soorten thee aangeboden werden. Hierna hartige hapjes, lekker maar niet heel bijzonder. Zoetigheden waren ruim aanwezig, echter leken de hapjes niet eeg vers. Zeker 2 uur gezeten met een gezellige sfeer, waarna we goed gevuld weggingen. Vanwege het niet helemaal vers of ambachtelijk zijn van de hapjes toch geen 5 sterren gescoord.

The food was okay, nothing special. It was nice to sit outside on the terrace. The wait was quite long, even though it wasn't very busy. The service was friendly.

Lekker om na het golfen even hapje te eten. Eten is prima de prijs iets te duur voor wat je krijgt. Lekker buiten maar ook binnen zitten. Bediening attent en vriendelijk. We hadden ons eren snel. Ik kom hier vaker golfen en even hapje doen dus ook.

Wait 30 minutes for menu. Waiting 45 minutes for 1 beer and apple juice...

i didn't have a main meal on my stay this time but the staff were helpful, the English spoken by the staff couldn't be better. the drinks were great and pricing is not too bad.

Wonderful.. I highly recommend it. The prices are reasonable and reasonable. I recommend the fish dish with spaghetti and among the desserts is the apple pie with ice cream. The restaurant has a panoramic view of the very large golf course.

The food is great but be ready to wait and wait and wait ...... over 2 hours for dinner

It is a prime position the food was tasty and friendly staff.
