Restaurant Martinus in De Zuidlanden

The worst Van der Valk restaurant I've ever been to. The service was especially terrible. We weren't helped, so after waiting a while, we asked for the waiters ourselves, but they immediately seemed disinterested. Our drinks were immediately wrong, the second time around. They didn't come back to ask if we wanted another drink. We also didn't get our food at the same time, so half of us had already finished our food or it had gone cold before the rest of us got it.

Very poor service, hostile staff. Food was fair to good, but the vegetarian dish was subpar.

It's a nicely modern decorated spacious place. The tables are placed the way that it's not disturbing the neighbor's table. There is room to move around. The servers are quick. The food: recommended to order something local (like fish). Unfortunately, foreign food on the menu is more an imitation. For example, Schnitzel, except the name and piece of pork fried in crumbles, doesn't have anything in common with real Schnitzel. The look of it also wasn't opening the appetite, and the taste wasn't pleasant. The deserts, on the other hand, were yummy.

The food was delicious, but the salmon and cod lacked sauce. The staff were incredibly unfriendly upon arrival and when ordering. The restaurant is nicely decorated, though.

A beautiful restaurant with excellent food and excellent service. Friendly staff and very tidy. The food was well-prepared, good quality, and more than enough. One word of advice: Irish coffee shouldn't be served in a wine glass.

I was so disappointed in terms of choice and price. Stir fry are very little choice. Onions mushrooms bean sprouts. If you don't eat that already, it's very boring. Other all you can rats include cauliflower or broccoli beans. Fish cold buffet you could only choose 2 and that was salmon and mackerel. Very little. Others have, for example, eel, herring, small shrimps and other species. You could stir-fry small strings of pasta. Not large pastas. Those strings are so done. Those larger pastas. Rice/nasi was nasty. No spaghetti or noodles, nothing. Unfortunately there was no name for dessert. Fruit little. I thought it was really too expensive for the choice there was. I won't go there anymore. Better go somewhere else with more choice. Service was also good.

Good restaurant but especially a very cozy bar.

I had Wonderful birthday dinner with my husband here. Very spacious restaurant. Atmosphere very comfortable. Lots of people which implies on comfort and quality of the food. Staff are very hospitable, fast and professional. Food is very tasty!

Delicious food. Excellent service and a beautiful decor. Neatly Corona-proof.
