We had a truly delicious meal, especially from the sushi menu. A solid 9 for taste and presentation; there aren't many restaurants in the area that can match this. Beautiful terrace overlooking the Gouwzee and nicely decorated. It bears no resemblance to the restaurant that used to be in this building. We were there on a Sunday evening and it was very quiet; it's a shame that people apparently haven't discovered At Mirror yet. Highly recommended!

Good atmosphere and beautiful location, the food is okay, barely any vegetarian or vegan options for main courses at dinner. You can have a beet carpaccio, a pokebowl (for 19 euro) or a salad; which is quite scarce considered all of the other options they have. Would be great to see a vegan burger, a vegan wrap, a pasta without meat or fish, there are so many possibilities

We recently had a delicious meal here with two families. We all had a different meal and everyone was very satisfied. There was a nice kids' menu for the children that could also be used as a coloring page. On top of that, you have a beautiful view from the terrace. Well worth a visit.

The food was delicious, beautiful poke bowls! However, we found the wine ridiculously expensive and very sparingly poured. That is a shame.

I come here often and have never been disappointed. It is a beautiful place with excellent service and a stunning view. Due to allergies, I cannot tolerate gluten. Here, I have even been able to safely eat sushi. Just skip the soy sauce and crab (which can sometimes be gluten-containing surimi) and communicate well with the staff. 10/10

I have already had lunch at atMirror a few times with great pleasure. So far, I have always sat on the terrace, and with the beautiful view over the Gouwzee, that is truly fantastic! Furthermore, I think it looks stylish. And the service is friendly and efficient. Not entirely unimportant: the food and drinks are delicious and the menu offers plenty of varied choices. For me, it is certainly a place to go more often!

Surprising location, though tricky to reach the parking lot. You drive into Monnickendam, see the stairs to At Mirror, and think, "Where am I supposed to park?" Turned around, parked at a parking lot along the road, went up the stairs, walked a bit along the dike, and headed to At Mirror. As you head out into Monnickendam, you see the turnoff to the parking lot... but it's a fine place to sit; a bit of a trendy spot.

A wonderful venue to work with for events. I had the pleasure of organizing a wedding here in late June, and it was a great success! They are flexible, proactive, and stand for quality and service.

The place is beautifully situated by the water. Super view, and since the weather was nice, we had a lovely meal outside. We chose this spot for its location. We looked at the menu online first, which made us a little less enthusiastic. Nevertheless, given the location, we took a seat on the terrace. We were approached by Julia. A very helpful lady. She advised us on the menu, and that turned out great. We had a delicious meal. The service, the location, and the food (and the weather) made for a wonderful experience at this beautiful location with friendly staff.

On June 14th, I celebrated my birthday with 35 people. Beautiful location, nicely decorated. Private terrace with a view of the Gouwzee. The buffet was delicious and plentiful. Drinks could be ordered at the bar. The snacks served in between courses arrived late and had to be requested. Otherwise, the atmosphere was great and wonderfully private. It was a successful party with a delicious, beautiful-looking buffet.

What a lovely place atMirror is! You immediately feel like you're in a relaxed Ibiza-style atmosphere here. The view is beautiful, the food and drinks taste delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We understood that a DJ will be playing soon to enhance the atmosphere even more. That fits perfectly with this unique location! This is truly a fantastic addition to Monnickendam. We will definitely be coming back here more often!

The service is friendly and attentive. The view of the water and the small beach is beautiful. In short, a great place to be together and to visit often.

Last night, I dined at At Mirror with my two sons. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace with a beautiful view over the Gouwzee. Excellent service and exceptionally good food at a reasonable price. Great atmosphere, but they refused my food order because the kitchen was backed up. Then they brought the wrong drink and wouldn't even take it back.

It was clearly very busy but they still welcomed us without a reservation. We felt comfortable immediately. The food portions were great and the lemonades were delicious. The staff are very warm and hospitable even when it was extremely busy and stressful for them. They still had a smile for us. Top service!

We had a delicious meal at atMirror last night! We had had drinks there earlier, when they had just opened. Back then, we thought the renovation was beautiful, but the menu and the layout were still a bit ‘unclear’. Now, however, they have a nice and attentive team, a surprising menu, and all four of us really enjoyed our meal with a great wine to go with it. Everything is just right now. With that stunning view and beautiful terrace, they really have a winning combination. See you again soon!
