I've only tried spicy prawn a few times and I liked it.

They'd already forgotten something in my order. I'll be back for that. When I got home, I saw they hadn't even included the sandwiches. They've really gone downhill. Luckily, you can pay by card these days.

Always delicious, we come here regularly. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. The cha sieuw and the fa chong are my favorites, as are the sandwiches!

Got the daily menu again. I found it very salty, which I didn't find with the previous owner. I also find the service less than stellar. I asked for it cold. There wasn't even paper around the containers like they always did. I even asked where the little packets of pickle were. They're no longer there. I could have bought a container of pickle as well. Prices are going up, and you're getting less and less. They're even cutting back on paper. She almost scraped the container of meat I wanted clean. But she left a piece of chicken in the container. Well, that could have been added. When the container is empty, you have to clean it first before putting in a new one. So how stingy do you have to be to leave one small piece of chicken in there?

Slecht !!! Sinds er een nieuwe eigenaar is,is het eten slecht geworden,niet slechter maar gewoon slecht ! Voornamelijk de Roti kipkerrie. De smaak komt niet eens meer in de buurt van kerrie en lijkt meer op een bak met smaakloze saus. Mijn moeder en ik halen altijd een koude roti kipkerrie om thuis zelf op te warmen. De bakjes werden altijd gevuld vanuit de bakken in de vitrine maar nu word je bakje eerst meegenomen naar de dichte keuken en daarna word het bakje verder gevuld met de kousenband,aardappel het ei en de saus en ik verbaasde me dus waarom het bakje eerst meegenomen word naar de keuken.......daar worden dus de kipkluiven in je bakje gedaan die dus STIJF BEVROREN zijn !! Je weet dus NIET hoe oud de kip is en kan dus al weken in de vriezer liggen......SCHANDALIG gewoon en daar moet je dan €12,60 voor aftikken !! NEVER NOOIT MEER halen wij nog eten bij Mister Wong !! BAH BAH !!

Ordered food by phone, picked up. Nice lady on the phone. Bara chicken curry, tastes like nothing. Moksie meti with Javanese noodles. Bami is tasteless. Meat reasonable. Pisang goreng doesn't taste like anything. Pitjel, well, boiled vegetables and watery tasteless peanut sauce. No sign of spice or spicy food anywhere. It doesn't smell like anything either. ,big disappointment.

I recently had dinner at mister wong with my friends and family and it was a wonderful experience! The food was delicious and full of flavour, with an extensive menu offering something for everyone. Recommended (Brown nasi with roasted chicken and babi bacon) (Vietnamese spring rolls nice and crispy too.) The staff was great; they were friendly, attentive and professional, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. I can highly recommend this restaurant for a great night out.

Delicious chicken curry sandwich

Food is too expensive. You also get a lot less for what you pay for. The quality of the food itself is ok.

Been coming here for years, but has recently been taken over by another owner and everything is slightly different, for example the bara is no longer freshly made in-house but bought ready-made and that is just as tasty as fresh, you can still continue there excellent food.

Recently had dinner at Mister Wong and I'm really impressed! This restaurant knows exactly how to combine delicious food with a relaxed atmosphere. What makes Mister Wong so special is the great mix of Chinese and Surinamese dishes. We ordered spring rolls in advance, and they were perfect: wonderfully crispy and filled with just the right flavors. Then we tried the Surinamese sandwiches, and all I can say is that they might be the best I've ever had. The rolls were super fresh, soft and generously filled. What I also really liked was that everything tasted good without being too heavy. You can taste that everything is prepared with attention. The service also deserves a compliment. The staff was friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome straight away. In addition, the price-quality ratio was excellent. If you are looking for a place where you can really enjoy good food, a relaxed atmosphere and fast service, then Mister Wong is definitely recommended. I'll definitely be back!

Disappointing experience with poor service I had high expectations when I ordered from this takeaway restaurant, but unfortunately my experience has been anything but positive. I ordered a vegetarian brown bean dish, but was given something completely different. When I got home and discovered this, I called immediately. The lady on the phone was friendly and said I would get a replacement meal on my next visit. However, when I was there the next time, it became an annoying game of yes-or-no. It was only a dish for ten euros, but the principle counts. Instead of keeping customers happy, it seems they are more concerned with making every dime. I can't understand how a restaurant treats customers like this. This was the last time I ordered something here. Customer satisfaction doesn't seem important to them at all. Definitely not recommended!

Delicious Surinamese and Chinese dishes.

Altijd goed en goedkoop, goed eten. Vandaag 22 oktober 2024 eten gehaald. De prijs was 10 euro duurder. Logisch met de huidige prijzen. Helaas was er van 2 porties alleen maar een kwart vlees, de rest was saus, niet genoeg voor 4 personen.

Ik vond de Surinaamse gerechten heerlijk. Verschillende koude drankjes en de kip ,garnalen, rundvlees gerechten zijn top . Het is de moeite waard ,om daar je Chinees eten te bestellen vooral belegde broodjes kun je bestellen voor school feestjes.

Moksi meti is delicious, they make the spring rolls themselves (!); they are really delicious and very crunchy. Give it a try, can't get enough! One of the few good ones around Hoogvliet. Parking is of course a plus, more than enough space and free!

We came here with a group of friends of 8 people and had a delicious meal that evening. Dynamite sandwich, homemade spring rolls, moksie metie and koe lok kai were definitely recommended for me. I've heard that the daily specials are also good and for only 12.50, maybe I'll try that another time!

Been coming here for years and the food is ok. €10-15 per portion but now with the new owners I suddenly pay almost €50 for 2 portions. Very unfortunate. Price is not even told on the phone so very surprised when you get there. Unfortunately the last time for us.

Ga liever naar Sun Sien redelijke prijzen en heel lekker, hier is het altijd super druk

Na jarenlang hier minimaal wekelijks een dagmenu besteld, hetgeen we samen konden nuttigen. De nieuwe eigenaar heeft sinds 1 jan 2024 heeft een paar wijzigingen doorgevoerd hetgeen ik niet fijn vind en daarom op zoek ga -naar alternatieve aanbieder. Dit vanwege: 1.) toepassen van krimpflatie. Prijzen substantieel verhogen en leveren van portie die bestemd is voor 1 persoon en je hier niet meer samen van kan genieten. 2.) De stempelkaart voor het verkrijgen van een gratis maaltijd is nog hetzelfde als voorheen echter het bedrag voor verkrijgen van een stempel is dusdanig hoog zodat je deze niet krijgt bij een dagmenu bestelling. Daarnaast word je spaarkaart niet geaccepteert voor de opgebouwde stempels Voor deze zaken is generlei wijze mededeling gedaan. Tijdens het spel worden de spelregels aangepast hetgeen niet is toegestaan in Nederland. 3,) Wanneer je de problemen bespreekbaar wil maken met het personeel wordt je niet netjes te woord gestaan en je als leugenaar bestempelt. Mij ga je hier niet meer zien en zie graag soortgelijke reactie ook terug in de revieuws. Tijdens deze discussie was er herkenning bij de aanwezige klanten. Mensen doe je voordeel met deze revieuw.

ik haal al meer dan 15 jaar eten bij Mr. Wong. De gerechten zijn erg lekker, de porties zijn groot (mijn partner en ik kunnen 1 gerecht delen als avondmaaltijd, en is er soms ook nog wat over!), en alles tegen een heel schappelijke prijs. Wij bestellen vaker onze Kerstmaaltijd bij Mr. Wong, zo lekker is het. Het is zeker een afhaalrestaurant -- ze hebben wat tafels, maar het is niet waar je gaat voor een avondtje uit. Wel prima voor een lunch tijdens het winkelen of zo; dit heb ik vaker gedaan. En je moet inderdaad voldoende contant bij je hebben -- al kan je ook even naar de geldautomaat lopen (3 min) terwijl je eten wordt voorbereid -- want pinnen is niet mogelijk. In tegenstelling tot wat andere reviewers schrijven, heb ik nooit problemen ervaren met mijn speciale verzoeken, zelfs bij grote aantallen broodjes waarbij de wensen qua sambal en komkommer enorm verschilde. Ook werd netjes op de zak geschreven welk broodje welk speciale eisen had. Ook nooit heel lang op mijn eten moeten wachten. Hun Surinaamse gerechten zijn over het algemeen prima. Veel van mijn familie is Surinaams, en ze halen daar graag een Tjauw Min Moksi of een Gezouten Amsoy schotel. Alleen de Pom vind ik niet zo lekker. En hun Chinese gerechten zijn voortreffelijk. De Kip met 5-kruiden is het favoriet van mijn peetzoon, en de Koe Loe Kai is uitstekend. Alles bij elkaar, echt een aanrader!

Menu voldoende te kiezen, smaakt goed. Niet gezellig op daar je bestelling te nuttigen. Je kan niet pinnen, dus contact betalen....niet altijd handig ook al begrijp ik het wrl.

Eten is altijd goed en veel wat je krijg, prijzen waren in de laaste maanden fors gestegen, alleen heel jammer door jaren hier te komen is hij ineens dicht en zit er een Poolse zaak in, mister wong had je je klanten niet netjes kunnen waarschuwen dat jullie gingen sluiten, mensen zijn jarenlang trouwe klant geweest , totaal niet netjes
