We had a fantastic meal last night! There's something for everyone.

The food is good and the price for the all you can eat and drink buffet is quite good. You definitely have to get meats and fish to be grilled at that time otherwise it's not worth going. Service is average. The drinks included in the price are soft drinks, beers, wine, coffee, water, tea and others. As a space and location, not as special as one would think. It doesn't look much like a ship or boat floating on the river but a large solid structure.

The food quality is very low; the recipes are of a very poor standard. I think the quality of this place has declined significantly. It might seem like a fair price for a buffet, but this is a very mediocre buffet. I recommend not going if you don't want to waste your money.

Fresh food and a very large selection of diverse and delicious stir-fried or fried dishes. We had the all-you-can-eat option. But there's also a regular restaurant, I believe, several on the higher floors.

We went to the all-you-can-eat area. The atmosphere was very nice and the food was varied. If you go, I recommend mentioning it's your birthday; you'll have a surprise waiting for you.

Super poor communication with the waiter, and not friendly either, which was the last point. The chef was also super grumpy during the stir-frying and baking, but there are also very friendly staff, but few of them. So yesterday I went to that restaurant, and the atmosphere was absolutely terrible. I really don’t understand why there were so many negative reviews… my husband and I went there for the buffet last night and it really exceeded our expectations. This place is definitely better than most wereldrestaurant’s that we have been to (and we have tried a lot of those in this country). The food was really fresh and well seasoned, and the salmon was the most tender and juiciest salmon I’ve ever had. The service was also very friendly. Reminds me of old Hong Kong in the 80’s/90’s, I really love it!

The food had no flavor and the chicken was disgusting. The staff was very unfriendly. It also smelled where we were sitting.

Yesterday we celebrated a birthday with you. Everything was fine until the end, but what happened next was unacceptable. During the last 12 minutes of our paid time, we were still in the private area: guests were using the restroom, coats were still in the room, and we were still waiting for drinks that had been ordered well in advance. Yet, staff repeatedly told us to leave in a very hurried and aggressive tone because "they needed the space." When we indicated that we were still entitled to this time and our order, cleaners were sent in with carts and literally started cleaning around us, talking loudly and with other customers who were standing in the doorway watching. This happened while we were still in the middle of a birthday party. This treatment was disrespectful, demeaning, and extremely unprofessional, and completely ruined all the positive impressions. Very disappointing. Definitely not to be repeated.

Food poisoning After eating here, half of us got food poisoning. It's been six days now, and we still haven't fully recovered. The food was too cold.

Really delicious, the best since 1900 to 2030

The food was served cold. The staff were somewhat friendly. The other employees present were not particularly cheerful and didn't have a welcoming vibe. My experience at this restaurant, on a scale of 1 to 10, is a meager 3. The food wasn't very tasty and was heavy on the stomach.

The food is not very varied and not tasty, or spicy or tasteless. Nice atmosphere and efficient service. But overall, it's not worth it and I don't recommend it.

Never come here again. Two unfriendly women lean on the bar, asking from five meters away what you want to drink. Not a good calling card for your company. The robot, however, was very friendly. The food was mediocre, not really warm. All in all, 1 star.

Of all the all-you-can-eat restaurants in the Rotterdam area, this is by far the worst. Little selection, cold food, unfriendly chefs, and annoying that you have to order drinks instead of getting them yourself.

Today I was here to go to the toilet for 2 euros

The atmosphere is mediocre and the background music could be better because I keep hearing piano notes every second, I liked the cat robot, the food is mostly cold, and the lobsters looked like they wouldn't survive long, and it's very cold inside.

Bad food, cold food, awful music in the background, most of the staff looked like they hated their jobs, and the lobsters seemed to be slowly dying without your money. PS, the robot was okay. Highly recommended and a better option for your money: Go to Eten enzo in Zoetermeer; you have more choices and better quality.

It was a birthday party. It was busy on a Saturday night. The food was good, hot, and had a lot of variety. Unfortunately, our table was just being cleared. They did come by twice with a cart, then stopped by and were taken away again. We asked if our table could be cleared as well. Plates, etc., were then all collected in the middle. Other large tables were being cleared. The robot was charging. The aquarium with crabs, etc., needed cleaning; it was full of algae.

I don't understand why so many people give bad reviews. My husband and I have been here regularly and will be back soon. The food is always good, and yes, you shouldn't expect alcohol to be included in the unlimited drinks. Okay, sometimes it does take a little longer to bring drinks or collect the plates, but my husband and I have no complaints whatsoever! Good service. They are always very friendly and provide good service. And yes, you shouldn't come last minute for two and a half hours to eat when you know they close at 10 p.m. If you have that much to complain about, just don't come! My husband and I always have a great time!

Delicious, highly recommended, go eat it quickly, it's so delicious

The atmosphere and staff were very chilly. The food wasn't warm and tasteless. The lobsters in the aquarium didn't look good, nor did the water. We pointed out that the food was cold and were accused of grabbing food from upstairs. This wasn't the case, but even if it was, it shouldn't have mattered. Things fell over and we had to clean them ourselves. Little choice of food, especially fish and grilled meat. The ice cream was very soft, and the layer of ice in the freezer didn't seem to be in place. The service was also really bad. It was very quiet, and rightly so, because the atmosphere was cold and depressing, both in terms of the interior and the music. Even the fries were soggy and the baguette was stale. The herb butter was very bland. I'll definitely never come here again unless I want to scare people off. No, not even then, it's a waste of money. The glasses were also old because they had a residue on the dishwasher.

First of all, there were three drunken guys talking crazy loud and everyone in the restraunt were keep giving side eyes but the staffs did nothing. I was so annoyed. And with the food, if you fill your plates with only 3 times, you wont have things to eat. It means there are not many kinds of foods. Only the good thing was i could drink cola and beer a lot. But at one point, i felt they serve the drinks more and more slowly. Not sure if i will visit here again.

Good food in a unique atmosphere, a boat shaped like a Chinese temple. A well-stocked buffet with a wide selection of hot and cold dishes. Plenty of sushi and cold fish, and the hot fish was also well-represented. The staff is friendly and proactive. They keep a good pace, and the buffet was well-maintained. All in all, a good experience, and we will definitely be back. There was one drawback, however: the melon wasn't ripe and was rock hard, which was a shame.

The staff is rude and arrogant. Fortunately, there are better wok restaurants in Rotterdam where you can eat better for the same price and receive decent service.

I’ve been there twice, and I’m disappointed with the lady who behaves very badly (CoCo). The first time I was there, she told me to only eat what was on my plate. It must be a joke! Now I’ve been there again, and the lady’s behavior was reprehensible. We wanted to order, and the lady only listened to two people’s drinks and then ran off. She didn’t take the entire order. When we tried to order again, she said she wouldn’t take our order until we finished it! We had maybe enough wine for one sip. We’ll never go there again. Mrs. CoCo probably works there as a punishment! I haven’t seen anyone behave like that in a long time. The lady made faces and shouted at us without any reason. Do something about it, or people will stop coming there.

I've been once, and that's enough. The food selection is small compared to all-you-can-eat restaurants I've been to before. I tried a little of everything because I was curious about the flavors. Only one chicken dish was tasty, while the rest were chewy, and one even tasted stale. The selection of sweets was disappointing. The service felt like it was there as a punishment. Only one waiter managed to deliver our drink order promptly. Those who haven't been can give it a try, but I won't recommend this place to my friends. In my opinion, it's a disaster.

Yesterday I ate at this restaurant with friends. The food was good and varied. However, the staff was very unfriendly. When ordering drinks, they were brought after a few minutes or not at all. The manager was probably the worst employee. She insisted that all drinks on the table had to be finished, otherwise, a charge would be made. My feelings and those of my friends were the same. If some people don't like working here, it's probably time to find another job. The place and the food are great, but the atmosphere is terrible.

The boat looks impressive from a distance, but once you get closer, you can see that no one has invested in it for a long time. The inside is the same. The food is like a factory-made product, not impressive. The desserts are quite tasty, and the ice cream is too, but a bit runny. I don't understand the bad reviews. I went for dinner last night, and there were many types of meat, fish, and vegetables. Everything was hot to very hot, and delicious. My only complaint was about the lemonade; it was diluted with water. The service was also excellent; the empty plates were cleared immediately.

Never eat here again, dirty containers. We arrived at 8 p.m. and everything was gone, no soup, empty containers. I don't think the sauce containers had been cleaned for a month. In fact, everything was just filthy, little choice and unfriendly staff. Around 9 p.m. they already start cleaning everything that isn't appropriate. There was also no rice left and dirty cloths were everywhere. The Commodities Act was definitely in order. I had two pieces of fried banana and a small piece of chicken, and you pay a lot of money for that. Never again for us.

If you turn away people/children who need to use the restroom, you're truly pathetic. It's not like we didn't buy anything at the adjacent supermarket.

I visited this all-you-can-eat restaurant with high expectations, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. For starters, the "all-you-can-drink" concept is misleading. Although drinks are supposedly included, the selection is very limited—only soft drinks like Coke and Fanta. The juices aren't fresh, but cheap, bottled ones. If you want freshly squeezed juice or a quality drink, you have to pay extra. Compared to other all-you-can-eat restaurants, this is truly subpar. There, you can often help yourself to your own drinks, including fresh juices. The food was also disappointing. The sushi selection is limited, and the grill only offers three types of fish—very poor for the price. The service was unfriendly, and the drinks arrived very late after we ordered. Making matters worse, parking costs €6.50 per hour. For one evening meal, I paid almost €18 just for parking—ridiculously expensive. In short, I won't be returning. There are plenty of other all-you-can-eat restaurants that offer more variety, better service, and fairer prices.

The food was okay, but parking is very expensive at €6.50 per hour, and children aged 3 and up pay €20 if they barely eat anything. At other places, all-you-can-eat is €2 per year of age. Here, €20 for children aged 3 to 6 is quite expensive. A 3-year-old can't even eat on €2 or €3. You have to order drinks, and sometimes they're late and sometimes they forget. So time flies.

The food was fine, but the service was truly awful. The server was the most polite of them all. The employees don't even say hello, and if they do, they're cold. When you're at the cash register, they suddenly become friendly, which is very strange behavior. Also, some of the food isn't what it seems. The tomato soup was sweet, and the sweet and sour sauce on the wok was way too sour???? I expected more for that price. I also had to pay extra for a mocktail even though drinks were included... strange behavior.

The service was really bad. We weren't aware of the concept of turning the lamp for more drinks, and it wasn't explained to us. When we asked, we were met with a very harsh response. Furthermore, the food wasn't replenished often enough; I had frozen apple pie and soggy fries. Some dishes were tasty, but I wouldn't go back.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Everyone knows the all-you-can-eat principle, and they do it differently with excellent, delicious dishes at Counterstrike. Something for everyone.

You shouldn't have high expectations, otherwise it will be nice

The concept is all you can eat, for two hours. Drinks and soft drinks are included. There's a wide selection, but it's a wok restaurant, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. Excellent value for money.

We definitely won't be back. The service was poor; empty plates weren't cleared, and we had to wait a long time for our drinks. The staff seemed unmotivated. There were also flies everywhere, and we even saw a dead fly in the food. It was a huge disappointment. There were eight of us, and we all regret it; it was a waste of money. We should have gone to McDonald's.

I've never eaten at such a terrible all-you-can-eat restaurant. Most of the food tastes old. The service here is terrible, everything is done reluctantly. What I also find ridiculous is that you have to order your drinks, so you can't get them yourself. It also takes forever to get your drinks. I also find the parking fee extremely high; for just two hours, you pay almost €20. It's ridiculous. NEVER AGAIN!

Had a wonderful meal at Chinese Boot restaurant yesterday! What a unique experience on the water, and the food was truly amazing. Definitely recommended—I'd love to come back!

Would not recommend. Service was unfriendly, food was terrible and dishes were not delivered in a regular manner. They didn't even speak English and they made dishes very spicy for us without ordering. Very disappointed.

Helped more than 20 minutes after the agreed time

An all you can eat restaurant but as if it is the first ever..looks poor, old and not cared for. Almost a bit dirty. The food was extremely standard little choice and a lot of that ready-made food like bambi panggang and loepias. Really not tasty. Very standard. The staff is not friendly and do everything to get you out as soon as possible. Literally a feeding shack!! There is no atmosphere at all and the food is really not tasty. We will never come here again.

This is a real fear rent. Tough meat on the grill and food very bland. And long wait before someone comes when you want to order something.

Disappointing experience! Went here for dinner with family tonight, but what a disappointment… This place doesn’t even deserve that one star. The service was downright bad. The staff didn’t seem to care – drinks were brought reluctantly. The food itself was very mediocre and certainly not what you expect for the price you pay. What was most disappointing: we were celebrating a birthday and had asked in advance to do something special with a candle. Instead, we were given the candle with the message: “Light it yourself.” That felt very inappropriate and uninterested. Too bad, because the Chinese boat used to have a much better reputation. Unfortunately, little of that is left now. Tip: if you want to eat out nicely and pleasantly, go to Shabu Shabu or a world restaurant. This experience was unfortunately not worth it.

Very good food and service. The option of eating as much as you want is probably the best possible choice. Grill, vok, ready meals, sushi, additions, desserts, drinks, all in great quality and served. With a smile. I recommend for a nice evening

We had dinner here and it was absolutely awful. Much of the food was cold, tasteless and clearly not fresh for a long time. The dessert section was a mess: containers that had been mixed up and no hygiene whatsoever. To make matters worse, my friend found a large piece of plastic in his ice cream. That is downright dangerous. The food was boring, bland and uninspired. We got the impression that there was no effort at all to provide quality. I am seriously afraid that I will get food poisoning from this. What a huge disappointment. We will never come back here again - and I advise everyone against it.

Both the food and service were good. They even had robots deliver our dishes some rounds, very funny and different.

The decor is horrible and not really clean

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful location with five friends. The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly.

We had walked past it so many times and heard a lot about it. So we made a reservation here via social deal. It is just a Chinese restaurant with an 'all you can eat and drink' concept. In addition, wok, sushi, grill and fried dishes. We tasted a lot and actually everything was fresh and tasty. The grilled dishes were also cooked well and the taste delicious. It is not very high-quality culinary, but we still had a delicious meal. The staff was friendly and there is also a serving robot driving around. Too bad he didn't come to our table. The only downside is that there was clearly water in our white wine, that's just a shame. Otherwise it would have been worth 5 stars.

Food and drinks all included via social deal, wide selection and good food. We had a large table and plenty of space. Coffee and tea also included afterwards. Good price-quality ratio. Parking 7 euros per hour next to the boat.

We went upstairs to the dim Sum restaurant and the food was good, also large portion for the Peking duck and pricing was totally fine. Parking can be done 500meters away for half the price so look further in the direction of the westzeedijk for Better price parking.

I used to loveee this place but now the food has become so bad, not much choice on the wok part and the meat u bake tastes just like the fish because they use same part of the grill. Some food was also cold :/

It’s an all you can eat so it won’t have a fancy atmosphere. The food is much better than in other all you can eat places I’ve been. Staff is friendly and took time to tell my partner what they couldn’t eat with their allergies.

We booked for all you can eat for 2 and a half hours. The website indicates that it is 38.95 euros per person. We made a reservation for 2.5 hours at 8 p.m. To our surprise, the waitress came at 9:50 PM to announce that the kitchen would close at 10:00 PM. By now half of the buffet had already been cleared away. You don't want to know how! All types of meat and fish were literally dumped together in a container. They did not respond to our response that we had reserved for 2.5 hours, other than just saying “internet”. We tried twice to make it clear to them that we paid for 2.5 hours. But they pretended not to understand me. You could select details on their website. My husband had indicated that our visit to them was in honor of my birthday. They didn't pay any attention to that at all. Now about the food. The fried rice tasted of nothing, shrimps tasted like meat, the uncooked lamb looked so brown that we didn't dare order it, tasteless sushi. The wine tasted like water. When we finished eating and wanted to go to the dessert buffet, it was already half cleared. There was only some dry cake left, to be precise 3 pieces of apple pie, 3 bacon biscuits, 3 brewnies, everything had dried out because they had been in the display case for too long. And a mountain of profiteroles, which were food. Staff really wasn't friendly. We paid for our visit but will never go there again, and certainly won't recommend it to others.

We were in the restaurant upstairs for lunch. At our table there were little soup bowls but the chinese waitres put it away when she saw us. All the other people in the restaurant were asian guys so we were the only european humans there, that was a little bit wirde. The waitress was mostly unfriedly to us but she always smiled at the asian people. Maybe it's just our view but that was a bit like racism. Also the other guy had a different menu then us. For a large portion of noodles we paid like 20 €. Some dishes were funny f.e. shark-fin-soup or jellyfish. But, to say something nice, the restaurant had a pretty nice athmosphere and the noodles we had tasted quite good. All in all I think if you are an asian guy it's a beautiful restaurant for you but if you're not you shouldn't go there if you won't get insulted.

Delicious food grill & wok definitely recommended

Been here again for the first time since the new interior, but it is even worse than it was. No atmosphere at all, tables placed in the most strange and unpleasant places. Even some tables in what you might call meeting rooms. No music. And that on Boxing Day. What a waste of money. Never again for us and would not recommend it to anyone. Shame!

Experience in the Chinese Boat on Boxing Day On Boxing Day, my group and I went to the Chinese Boot for dinner. Upon entering it was noticeable that it was very quiet, which is unusual for such a busy day. The staff seemed disinterested and the chefs were not really active. Also it felt uncomfortable because the staff was constantly looking at us which created a negative atmosphere. However, the service was fast and the staff was friendly. The food was quite good, but the meat in some dishes was too fatty and the preparation seemed not quite right. In addition, the kitchen was visibly not very clean, which worried us about hygiene. Unfortunately, my girlfriend got a stomach ache and my mother didn't feel well after eating either. I therefore decided to send my dish back. The employee reacted surprised, but did not continue to talk to a manager to offer a solution. I decided to pay my bill, but left my drinks. The other thing that struck me was the silence in the restaurant, which made me wonder why it was so quiet on Boxing Day, a day that should normally be busy for a restaurant. When I went to the checkout, I paid 150 euros for the meal, but was asked to pay another 15 euros. This was a point of frustration for me, especially given the inconvenience we had experienced. I felt that, given the situation, I should not have paid the full amount, but in the end I decided to pay the 15 euros anyway because that was the amount still outstanding. At the checkout, the employee indicated that the difference had to be corrected "from the tip jar", but otherwise no clear explanation or solution was offered. The conversation felt unprofessional, and it seemed like no responsibility was taken for the problems we had experienced. In short, despite the friendly service, my experience in this restaurant was not good. The hygiene and quality of the food left much to be desired, and the overall atmosphere was not pleasant. Therefore, unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Had dinner with my kids and grandchildren on Christmas Day. How bad! Very expensive but no quality. Terribly bad food and still got sick from the food. Never again! A real waste of money and you stand in line for a long time for the dessert that is really nothing. These people do not see you as a person but as a revenue model (2.5 hours).

The only thing that was ok, was the service. But the food… My God let me tell you that Gordon Ramsay should come and close the place. Which makes me sad because I used to come here in the 90’s as a kid and I remembered the restaurant was packed. Now the food is cold, no flavor. Even the rice is bad, how can you make nasi with no flavors? The meat looks like it’s been there for hours. Not fresh. Discolored. The fish didn’t taste that great. I honestly stopped eating because I didn’t want to risk getting sick of it. Sad but will not come here ever again, unless they change this up.

This is not a restaurant but an unpleasant food shack, the food was but very ordinary and join us everywhere. I also found that parking costs almost 6 euros per hour. If you stay for 2.5 hours, you have already lost 15 euros in parking fees. Certainly not a second time for us

Fine for sushi, but the meat on the baking tray is downright bad... a one-off for me.
