We each had three thumb-sized croquettes for €7 each! Outrageous. Plus a small plate of potatoes (I forgot the price). Then a beer and a soft drink, all for €42. And it was incredibly noisy in the place. We went back to the hotel hungry and annoyed.

Are you looking for an exclusive Michelin-star experience or refined fine dining? Then you'd better look elsewhere. But if you just want to enjoy delicious, casual tapas, accompanied by very friendly people and honest, high-quality products, then Servila is definitely the right place for you. A nice, no-nonsense spot for drinks with friends or a relaxed bite to eat.

What a lovely place! The food was very tasty. Especially the almond tart and the marinated olives. They really know what they're doing with food here. And the staff is incredibly friendly too; you really feel at home in the homey atmosphere they create :)

The food was okay, but nothing special. The service was definitely not good. Despite having a reservation, we were assigned a table so small that there wasn't even enough room for our plates. We had to use a stool to put all our food on it, and even the person next to us offered to share their table out of pity. Meanwhile, there was a completely empty table for six right next to us. And yet, the waitress said it was reserved. Really poor service for the price—almost €85 for two people. We won't be back.

AMAZING AMBIANCE and FOOD!! The food choices are really authentic and also the atmosphere, the interior design makes you feel you are in Spain mostly also the music in the background ! The staff is very available and lovely , a gem! Def coming back ! I went with my mom , it was super nice !

I'm from Seville, and while there are obvious differences, the place offers an atmosphere very faithful to the original. The staff are incredibly friendly. In short, it's a fantastic showcase for Sevillian culture and gastronomy.

2023: My wife and I met in Sevilla ages ago and we've been to so many tapas bars. When we saw this restaurant in Utrecht, we were curious. Our experience was great and we will definitely come back in the future. We came for dinner and enjoyed it. What could have made our experience a bit better is a larger variety of tapas and a bit larger portions or lower prices. We understand we can't compare prices here to Spain, but more variety for lower prices will mean we come more often. However, we will still recommend your restaurant to others. Update: 3 years later, we came again with our kids who wanted to eat Paella. We came in a quiet time. The paella took over an hour to be served, and unfortunately it was disappointing, didn't taste like any paella I had before. I forced myself to eat it, but my kids left with full plates. The tapas were still tasty, but overpriced for their sizes.

A lovely restaurant with a distinctly Spanish feel; bar service and an open kitchen, reminiscent of a typical tapas bar. The acorn-fed Iberian ham was excellent, as were the cheeses. The grilled prawns were good, and the oxtail stew was delicious. I liked some of the other tapas and dishes less, but they were still good. The orange and almond tart is highly recommended. Pleasant atmosphere and attentive waiters.

Spanish restaurant staffed by Spaniards. A very authentic Spanish tavern atmosphere; they have tinto de verano, which is always a welcome treat. The patatas bravas are homemade and freshly made, which is much appreciated. The baby squid were also good. Very friendly staff.

A very good restaurant with a good selection of Spanish and international dishes. It's not cheap, but the quality is good. I especially enjoyed the octopus tapa, a real treat for my homeland. I highly recommend bringing your dog; they are incredibly welcoming and affectionate, even providing water for them on the terrace.

Not impressed by the food. The papas bravas are not the classic papas bravas. Food was not warm when it made our table. Outside tables are too small, not comfortable, but inside its better. 4 dishes/ drinks we ordered were not available any more. Not bad, but definitely not impressed, sorry for the review!

It was very nice to see the tortilla being baked on the spot. This shows how a simple dish can become a beautiful and tasty meal through careful attention and beautiful ingredients (especially the Iberico on top). This isn't my first time here, and as always, everything was excellent. The food is a 10/10, the service is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home, and the atmosphere is another 10/10. I was able to celebrate the World Cup victory here, and I couldn't have chosen a better place. Thank you, everyone!

We had a delicious meal; we had the "menu de favoriteitos," which was really nice because it was a surprise what we got. Every dish was tasty; definitely recommended. On Mondays, they have paella, which we are going to try sometime too.

Food 10/10. For two people, we ordered seven tapas. Pickled olives, bread with aioli, meatballs, cheese with black garlic (spectacular!), bavette with honey and mustard, patatas bravas, and one with Padrón peppers. We practically rolled out of there, but we wanted to try a bit of everything 🫣 Very friendly staff, and the melon sangria is a fantastic choice ✨️

Time to rediscover Spanish cuisine in Utrecht. That is how I ended up at Sevilla. I ordered Bavette con miel y mostaza, Pollo con pisto, and a glass of Alhambra beer. The atmosphere was very good, partly due to the student party nearby. Lots of music and even a complete Caribbean drum band. Music that suited the temperature. Back to the food, because that is what I came for. The flavors are exquisite; the pollo con pisto in particular was delicious. I also really enjoyed the glass of Alhambra. The wait staff was very friendly and even had time for a chat, even though it was very busy. Is there no criticism then? Of course there is; nothing is perfect, and sometimes you shouldn't expect it to be. The only point I want to mention for improvement is the waiting time between courses, which is, in my opinion, a bit too long. 20 minutes is acceptable, but any longer is definitely not. Conclusion: certainly a place to come back to.

Lovely place to eat! The tapas are really delicious. We tried a lot of things the first time, with the croquettes (we didn't see that coming) and the meatballs in sauce being our favorites, but there really is so much tasty stuff. The portions are truly tapas as they should be. Not too big, not too small, just right for sharing with someone else. The atmosphere is also very nice; at one point I was really in Spain in my head and started ordering in English... We had a good laugh about it, but it did make you realize that the atmosphere there is so good that you forget you're in your own country for a moment. I was warned that the bill could add up quite a bit, but the two of us ended up at around 100 euros. In these times, I think that's reasonable for an evening out with tapas and mixed drinks. The only point of attention was sometimes keeping a slightly closer eye on the table for drinks. But otherwise, the service was really top-notch too!

Especially nice atmosphere, gives a really cozy and fun Spanish feel. Partly due to the music but also the decor. Service was good, we were helped immediately.

We visited the place for the worldcup Spain vs portugal match...the vibe was amazing. We only got a chance to try the Sangaria and hands down it was the best. Kitchen closed and we didn't get a chance to try the tappa's but definitely they vibe gives out a good food

Food was really good but the whole service made it not worthy. What is this place in the Neatherlands that doesn't accepts spliting the check. Also ho does a menu only in spanish and dutch? Also, why all the attendees were so rude? I mean ugh. Not coming back.

The food is tasty, but you can sometimes wait a very long time for it. Drinks are good and fast, and the sangria is delicious! The atmosphere is nice and there is plenty of seating with room to move around.

It remains difficult to find a truly authentic and affordable tapas restaurant. Here too, the menu is quite limited with few surprising dishes. The croquettes were dry and not very flavorful; the potato salad was actually the most successful item. The price-quality ratio is mediocre; I find 9 euros for 3 simple, bland meatballs quite a lot. Service was okay, although they forgot one of the dishes, but it was properly removed from the bill. All in all, not worth a repeat visit for me.

We have ordered regular and pineapple mojito and they were a disaster. When i tried to return them back coz that is not how mojito is done and it tasted very bad (maybe the worst cocktail i have ever tried), we were told we have to pay the pineapple one coz 'that's how we do it'. A bit shameful to lose reputation over a cocktail.

They work with a lot of frozen stuff, and the jamon was very disappointing for a restaurant called Sevilla. The restroom is near food storage? Weird.

Not typically Andalusian, but a translation of Dutch products into Spanish ones. The products also use far too much oil. Service remains an issue (not just at this restaurant, but everywhere in the Netherlands). Rugged, impersonal, no eye for detail. More of an obligation than a genuine desire to provide service. A shame, a missed opportunity.

Had an incredibly delicious meal at Sevilla last night. Had several dishes and everything was good. Enjoyed the food and the nice atmosphere. The service was very friendly. It was quite full and people kept arriving regularly waiting for a spot. So making a reservation is definitely recommended.

Went here with 6 girlfriends. The place is small, but with many tables, making it very noisy and almost impossible to hear each other. The food was tasty, but not super special. The service was friendly.

Picked up bocadillos for lunch; the sandwiches were nice and warm, crispy, and filled. The pollo is especially highly recommended!

Food is great and there is a wide selection. The service is friendly and they know how things work. Definitely worth a repeat visit. The toilet is downstairs, so there are stairs. It is good to keep that in mind.

Food is generally just ok but good quality ingredients. I know tapas is small plates but the portion for the high price is a bit ridiculous. Enjoy sharing one slice of jamon from your €16 charcuterie plate with your date. Sangria was not special and very expensive. Patatas bravas were the most disappointing. Instead of brava sauce it appears ‘deconstructed’ with dollops of mayonnaise next to a splatter of cold and wet tomato juice on top of French fries. They really ought to just stick to the traditional recipe for something like this. Also they really need ceiling/wall sound proofing it’s so loud and echoey like sitting inside a gymnasium. Also charging for tap water… 🙄

Had to wait over 45 people for two sandwiches for lunch while no one else was sitting inside. There was no one in the kitchen. The sandwiches weren't even warm.

We had a delicious and enjoyable meal, with really tasty Spanish tapas. We opted for a set menu and received several hot and cold dishes, finishing with dessert. The last few rounds came just a little too quickly one after the other.

Last week we went for dinner here with my friends. Everything is quite pricey but the shocking parts was that we ordered a 26€ pitcher of sangria. I poured it for my friends and before drinking anything we realized that the pitcher was fully broken on the spot you pour from. So I let one of the waitresses know and she asked if we wanted a new pitcher and I said yes. She did not take the glasses with the already poured sangria away nor did she provide us with a new pitcher of sangria- she poured the old sangria into a new pitcher and gave it to us which completely defeated the whole purpose of our request. It is dangerous to serve in broken glasses/pitchers as there might be pieces of broken glass in the drink. We felt too awkward to ask again and seem needy when it is something so basic. Another thing was that we asked for tap water and the end on the bill we were charged 2€ for water from the sink 😂. I did check the menu and nowhere did they say they charge for tap water so that was crazy. The food was ok but the patatas bravas were horrendous - literally just normal fries served with some tasteless tomato thing on top that didn’t even have one grain of salt on it. I would definitely not come back here.

We spontaneously dined here on Sunday evening, and there was still room for the three of us. The service was friendly and the food was served quickly. The chicken was wonderfully tender, and the grilled octopus was also delicious. There were also plenty of vegetables to choose from. For dessert, we had a delicious chocolate cheesecake, highly recommended!

It's like being in an Andalusian tavern, good service, great food and drinks, the kitchen is open and the guys are very nice.

Yesterday we thought we'd have a nice meal at Restaurant Sevilla. Unfortunately, it was one of my worst dining experiences. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was filled with a sewer-like smell that was immediately unpleasant and didn't give a good first impression. We ordered confit leeks with romesco sauce and presa ibérica as tapas. There was no confit whatsoever. The leeks were a mess: messy, lacking texture, and simply inedible. The sauce, which was presented as romesco, had nothing to do with it. It was something with raw tomatoes and a distinctive herb mixture that completely dominated the flavor. The whole thing was confusing and inedible. The presa ibérica, normally juicy and tender, was dry and cold. The gorgonzola sauce seemed pre-made, which isn't a problem in itself, but it hadn't been stirred. The liquid had separated from the sauce, leaving both watery puddles and thick lumps on the plate. As if that wasn't enough, I ordered a Clara. I understand that Casera is hard to come by in the Netherlands, but just use 7Up or something similar. This Clara was extremely sweet and truly undrinkable. Terrible. We didn't finish either dish and left. Regardless of the style or cuisine, the food was simply awful. It was so poorly prepared that I honestly doubt it was prepared by a professional chef. The quality was so poor that it gave the impression that the kitchen staff wasn't competent at the time.

I was truly delighted to find a place that reminded me of my country, with a beautiful terrace and atmosphere. I was a little disappointed that they didn't speak Spanish, but I still loved the place. I definitely recommend the Nutella Cheesecake, and when it's sunny, grab a spot in the sun! It can fill up very quickly.

We arrived expecting a real Spanish tapas bar. But nothing could be further from the truth; it only has the name in common with Seville. The only things that were good were the oxtail croquettes and the piquillo peppers (perhaps because all they have to do is fry them). The patatas bravas were anything but spicy. They came with aioli that didn't even taste like aioli (it was peppery) and raw crushed tomato. The potato omelet had a hard outer crust, and the inside was raw, even damp potatoes (from what looked like water from being frozen). It's so easy to make a mediocre omelet. The baby squid were frozen and rock hard, tasting only of the batter. We told the waitress and she brought us new ones (which they then tried to charge us for, but we complained and paid for one (which we didn't even finish because it was just as tough and tasteless). The octopus tasted sweet, like it had cinnamon in it, an insult to a Galician. And the fritters had been sitting there for so long that we finally told them not to bring them at all. Oh, and 2 euros for a pitcher of filtered tap water. Almost 75 euros for a truly awful meal.

Horrible in every way, it only has the name in common with Spanish.

The food here was so fresh and amazing. And the staff was genuinely friendly.

The set menu had five courses, each arriving every 25 minutes; by the third course, I'd already digested my food from waiting so long. The portions were small and the food wasn't very good: the fried seafood seemed old, the Padrón peppers were raw, the fries were drenched in aioli and raw tomato sauce, and the tortilla had a strange taste, plus it had aioli on top, I suppose to mask it. To top it all off, they charge for tap water. The place is nice, but the food and service are nothing like a Spanish bar, much less one in Seville. In the end, I paid €70 for that set menu, four beers, and the water.

Delicious food. Excellent service. Only those stools at the bar... I don't like sitting high up/at a bar anyway, but in this situation, at least provide decent bar stools. You're literally sitting shoulder to shoulder. There's nowhere to put your things. It's just not relaxing.

Nice place! We were over booked and had to sit at the bar for a bit. Totally understandable but getting a free drink feels like the least you can do for the inconvenience. I loved the vibe and the food looked great but they were quite royal using salt. Overall I had a pretty good experience :)

I never thought I'd find a restaurant like this right in the heart of Utrecht. After six days in the Netherlands, I simply had to go in. It's a fantastic place. The patatas bravas, the meatballs, and the Spanish omelet were all excellent. The service was very friendly. I highly recommend it.

I don’t usually give five stars for everything, but I was really pleasantly surprised on all aspects of Sevilla. I had dinner with friends and thoroughly enjoying all aspects of the evening. The food was wonderful , the staff was friendly and very helpful, and the atmosphere was a delight. We sat at the bar which is a tip because you can see you food being prepared. All in all a great place to eat, I would go again tonight.

The food was okay. The octopus was a bit black, which they said was due to the red wine. The service was slow and inattentive. I had to ask three times where my order was. Also, the last round was at 8:30 PM. Seems very early to me. Especially when the reservation was for 7:15 PM. Why does it say open until midnight then? The bill ended up being 60 euros for two people. You might think: wow, that's not much? You're right! It's a good indication of how slow the service was and how little we were able to order as a result. Believe me: there are better tapas restaurants in Utrecht.

We arrived with a reservation, but our table was still occupied, so we were sent outside into the rain. Once inside, the three of us were seated at a table for two. We waited 30 minutes before someone finally came to take our orders. The food was very expensive for the portions (for 9 euros you get three IKEA meatballs). The food was good, but extremely expensive for the portions. The service was by far the worst aspect of the restaurant; one person speaks to you as if you're a child, and the other doesn't speak Dutch. For us, it's not Seville, but Sevilnee.

We participated in the wine and food walk and were told to sit at the bar with three people when we refused, and they refused to serve us. At all the other restaurants on the walk, three people could sit at a table for four. You pay for the wine and food walk in advance, so they refused us something we had already paid for.

What a fantastic evening! The atmosphere was immediately convivial. And that sangria… seriously, the best I've ever tasted. Plus: the cheerful waitress with her pretty curls made it all perfect. Highly recommended!

We had a cauliflower dish here with the Wine and Food package. It was quite delicious. The other three had a meat dish with a pre-made sauce that wasn't good. We were seated at the bar, with the dishwasher constantly loading and unloading right in front of us.

I've never been treated so rudely in my life. There were three of us and we were told to sit at the bar. We asked for a table for four, which was free; the woman working there remarked that they don't serve us like that. We left empty-handed.

We came for a wine and food platter for three people. We were offered our meal at the bar. I didn't want to. She told us we wouldn't get a meal then. There was still a rafel for four available. We were able to sit down there with some difficulty. However, she came back to the table and lectured us. When we told her she could stop now, we had to leave the restaurant. Extremely rude customer service. I'll never go back here again. We paid €78 for the complete wine and food platter.

The food was delicious, the tapas were excellent. Unfortunately, we weren't as pleased with the service. We arrived at 6:15 PM (6 people) and were immediately reminded that we had to be gone by 8:30 PM. With every course, we were told to "order quickly" or we wouldn't make it. The cappuccino accidentally spilled by the bartender couldn't be re-served, so we were given a to-go cup. If you work shifts, which is outdated these days, make sure there's enough time between the first and second shifts. This rush really spoils the evening.

I was at this restaurant with a friend (she's Dutch) for a glass of wine before dining elsewhere. Because I'm Spanish and the waitress also spoke Spanish, I asked in Spanish for a glass of tap water. There was no mention of a charge for the water. A little later, another waiter brought a bottle of water, without any explanation or choice. We drank two glasses, and when we went to pay, we discovered we were charged €4.50 for the bottle. That felt misleading: we'd specifically asked for tap water and weren't given any information about the cost. I understand that every restaurant has its own policies, but a simple explanation could have prevented this awkward situation. It's not about the price, but about transparency and customer service.

Had a lunch here today. Amazing food and friendly stuff. Definitely will be coming back.
