The food was fantastic!!! The service was super friendly and they're great with the guests. If you're looking for a truly delicious fish restaurant in Urk, I definitely recommend Storm!

Beware, you have to pay extra for mayonnaise. Very small plates, which makes eating difficult. Expensive for what it is.

Be careful what you order. The tuna sandwich is just one small piece of bread with tinned tuna and salad. Be aware as well if you're asked if you'd like sauce because they charge an extra €1.50. And check your bill, not all prices match what's on the card. Service was really friendly though, cant fault them.

Beautiful location by the harbor. We had lunch here. I chose the ancient bread with salmon. It cost €14.75. For this, I got one thin, light sandwich with mostly lettuce leaves and a few pieces of salmon. Not enough for a full lunch, which I expected for that price. And I'm not a big eater. Too bad!

Stopped here based on other reviews. Dining alone and they only had limited tables. Ordered the Chef special and a local beer. The food was delivered in reasonable time but the fillet of fish was small for the price. Granted sole is a bit expensive these days but expected a little bit more. Service was cold - never checked on after the meal was delivered. So ok food - but so-so service and atmosphere.

Had something to eat with my two friends. Plate of chicken with fries. I had a small portion because I wasn't that hungry, it cost 9.75, the mayonnaise cost 1.30 and the bowl of apple sauce was out of date. Four pieces of clutch and a small amount of fries. My friends had a large portion for 14.75, I really thought it was scandalous what was on the plate, the mayonnaise was added for 1.30. We had to ask for cutlery because they had forgotten it. When paying, they had calculated me as a large portion, so pay attention to your receipt. The staff was very busy and that was also evident, too bad. If you want to eat clutch, go to the fish shop in the village, good quality for a good price. Restaurant Storm, you won't see me again.

Found it on Google via a review from Germany. So far good. But after the visit and the prices, a no go. Fish platter of different types 34.50 per person, still ok. Too much breading for my taste. Last Saturday, September 14, 2024, we visited this Petit Restaurant during our visit to Urk. We went onto the terrace and wanted to take a seat at a table, but we had no chance of that because we were immediately told that we were not allowed to sit there because if 4 people came they could sit there. Those 4 people were not there during our stay. Girl came to take the order, we thought we ordered for 12.50 but it wasn't so we had read it wrong. Kibbeling, small bowl of fries, salad consisted of 6 pieces of penne in sauce and 1 tiny bowl of sauce for the Kibbeling, we had ordered some additional mayonnaise ourselves, which was a tiny plastic container, estimated at 2 ml. Ate it except for 2 pieces of Kibbeling because they were soggy. Just before paying I received a text message so I wasn't alert: 2 large beers at €7.25! what we had to pay was 54.10!!! They charged 18.50 for a plate + 1.30 for the mayo!. Of course I sent an email for an explanation and got an answer because madam said there was no sign with Kibbeling for 12.50 but a sandwich and a plank. She has now explained it with a photo of the sign and therefore changed my review on that point What we had to pay for that plate was nowhere near worth it. According to us, Cod Kibbeling comes from a FISH that swam next to a Cod and which you can also buy in the Supermarket. General impression: Bazin was very present and friendly, an incredible number of wasps because madam had hung a wasp catcher next to the terrace that was full of wasps and which attracted many wasps. We were given felt pads to put on the glasses. And then also dirty, filthy, filthy toilets.

We just had lunch at the Storm. Service was great and our fish was super delicious. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a wonderful meal, it was just right, not too much, but certainly not too little, very friendly owner and the young ladies were also very polite. We will definitely come back again

Had mussels at this restaurant last night. Were apparently the last. Price did not include fries or something similar, for which we received a hefty bill afterwards. Once back at the campsite, we both didn't feel well and felt bad all night and still do now.

My wife saw the plate of coffee and apple pie in front of the entrance for 5.75 euros. That seemed like a good offer to us. We sat on the terrace and were immediately served by a young waitress. Did we want an ashtray? It turned out that she had to ask this from her boss😳 Then ordered cappuccino with apple pie and whipped cream. This was served quickly and was really (very) tasty. When my wife wanted to pay, the owner mentioned the amount of 19.50. Significantly more than 2x 5.75. When I asked how this was possible, the answer was: Then you should have had black coffee😳 My answer was that the sign was misleading. The answer was that she had done marketing and that this was therefore marketing.

Top location, good service, owner, good hostess and alert. I opted for 12 hours of meat, a great lunch, unfortunately the crispy chicken is not stated to be very spicy (even for someone who likes "hot" food). Worth repeating, but with something different from the menu.

We ate an Urker fish platter for two, which was really delicious. Very friendly service, great view of the sailing harbor. Only the open house wine wasn't to my taste. Gladly again!

What an incredibly bad restaurant. Go upstairs to the toilets and you've already seen it. What a run-down mess. For the drinks you pay the prices of a restaurant with 3 Michelin stars. Truly absurd. Everything for the one-time customer. Ooh. Can't stand it!!!

Beautiful view of the harbor, super nice and attentive service who explained everything to us in German. The freshly caught plaice and the smoked salmon tasted really delicious.

Got sick on the spot from a very expensive fish dish. Had fun until the next day. Annoying end to a day in Urk. I understand that the catering industry has had a hard time, but paying sixty euros for two soles, four pieces of kibbeling and a few pieces of plaice I think is disproportionate; especially if it makes you ill while you are still sitting at the table.

Nice place on the harbour. The fish board is highly recommended.

A carafe of house wine for €14.75 turns out to be 250ml. I asked if a carafe was half a liter: “It’s 2.5 glasses.” This is how you can disgust your guests...

The tastiest kibbeling around the IJsselmeer

Good food but the price was a bit exaggerated. We thought 90 euros for a fried plaice fillet, cod, some fries and salad, 4 small 0.3 hefe weizen was a bit excessive. At first we thought she was kidding, but she wasn't.

21 euros for a small bowl of fries and non-alcoholic beer and a house wine.... Each sauce separately costs a euro and cheap sour ketchup... Very nice location!

According to my brother-in-law it was the best restaurant in Urk, so we had to try it out. For lunch I had a portion of Kibbeling with tasty large pieces of real cod, just great. My wife had sole and it was great! Fried in butter, large in size and wonderfully tender. For dessert we had various luxurious macarons, ice cream and cheesecake. In short, highly recommended and in a beautiful location.

I'm not a fish eater at all, but the kibbeling here is the tastiest fish I've ever eaten. Enjoyed!!!

Changing light, sun, wind and clouds - the view over the marina and the friendly service were complemented by the good food. Our spontaneous trip to Urk was on our honeymoon trip through Benelux. So today we got a very good impression of the place and now also of this restaurant. We will remember it and would love to come back again.

Good tent and you can sit there comfortably

Just had fried fish pieces (kibbeling) with fries and salad. Service was great, both ladies were very friendly. Food was oke, but expensive for what you got on your plate. Fish was very salty, salad was too simple. Price was €18,50. Really too much. Location at the harbor was spot on. Next to sunny spots on the terrace, you could choose also to sit in the shade.

We sat here in a cozy and atmospheric setting on Ascension Day, enjoying a drink with a glass of fine wine. Friendly hostess and excellent quality food. Top!

Super friendly service, she recommended a fish platter for 2 people. Really delicious, we were both full. I can only recommend it.

The food is fine, the service less so. When something could not be served, no alternative was offered. This was only done when preparations were made to leave. Very unfortunate, but there will be no next time there for me.

We ate here with 6 people. At the start of our meal we received 2 small bowls of potato gratin and 2 bowls of vegetables as side dishes. Not enough for 6 people, so ordered 2 more containers of each side dish during the meal. Later at checkout we were presented with the bill for this. The menu stated that 2 side dishes were served with each main course. (This is no longer on the menu. This has been removed) It's scandalous that they have to make their money this way. Please note if you are eating in this restaurant with more than 2 people.

Chose 2x menu of €34.50. Unfortunately you had to pay extra for everything. e.g. : sandwich for dipping oil, salad, even pay extra for fries (were not in the menu)! Dessert + 4 euros extra pp. In the end we paid €125 for 2x menu and a few drinks.... Bizarre!! So choosing a menu makes no sense. Food itself was fine. But would you like to eat some fish in Urk? Not at Storm anymore.

Very disappointing, pay extra for Lemon in soft drinks 0.25 fries small salad with main course pay 2x 5.75 extra. Food exceptional .salty . Interior and exterior bread in need of renovation / modernization. Not recommended !

Ordered kibbeling and plaice here with my friends during the boat holiday, we are real fish connoisseurs, if I say so myself... never had such tasty kibbeling anywhere before! The plaice was almost 1 square meter, I didn't ask the super sweet blonde clerk/lady in her 30s😉🤣 if they had accidentally confused my plaice with a walrus from the Arctic Ocean... but this was not the case... anyway, after that I After my full belly I shared the plaice with my friends. And that for €65, with a drink... great restaurant! Recommend it to every fishing fanatic!

If you want to eat plaice in Dutch, you have to come here. The fish is presented beforehand and the service is very friendly. Our special requests were addressed immediately. I would say a great address in Urk, especially since the location right in the harbor is simply beautiful. We will definitely come back.

Ate delicious plaice on Friday, August 4, 2023! However, it is a pity (but our own fault) that we did not look more closely at the menu, because even the fries and mayonnaise are charged separately and then a snack for two people quickly becomes too expensive! Mayo € 1.30 p/p and fries extra € 6 p/p total € 59 If you don't have to pay attention to a €, highly recommended, because the food was TOP!

Delicious food and top service!

Food was really tasty. At the menu we asked if we wanted something with the main course for € 24.50. It came with standard fries, so we thought we could also opt for sweet potato fries and potato salad. We no longer received the fries but had to pay € 14.25 extra for sweet potato fries and potato salad on a bill of almost € 140, now € 152.50. Travesty!

Excellent service and fine food.

Had an honest meal and enjoyed it. The Urkel experience with fresh catch is highly recommended! Especially with the beautiful view and the friendly service, we truly enjoyed our afternoon on the terrace. We didn't think the dishes were expensive at all for the quality we received. Compliments to the chef!

Completely “normal” food that doesn’t justify such prices!

The restaurant overpriced for the food. Quality is good with fishes, but I ordered risotto, what was ridiculous portion (should be a child portion), halfly boiled rice which remain raw, truffle slices has no taste. For 4 of us we needed to pay 177.5 euros, which is pretty too high price. (We ate just a main dish, 3 beers, 1 wine, 1 Fanta and a coffe). Recommend to look for another restaurant, as they have much better prices with comparable quality. Only prices extravagant, not the quality of the service/foods here.

What a delicious meal we had. Super! Greetings from Dordrecht.

Upon arrival you will see reserved signs everywhere on the tables. This is so that the owner can determine where you sit. I am then served by staff wearing company clothing that is dirty and faded due to age. My choice was the chicken satay with “homemade satay sauce” (€18.75) It was 1 skewer with factory satay sauce. 10 pieces of prawn crackers from a crisp bag and lettuce instead of atjar tjampoer. There were 4 very thin slices of cucumber on the lettuce. And they call this a main course. Pay for fries separately and mayonnaise separately. I call this a glorified snack bar that spent a night in Monaco

Dear owner of Storm: Tortellini is not tagliatelle. You can just let us know when something has run out, and not assume that "yes, there is pasta underneath, this is also pasta" is sufficient. Certainly not for the amount you are asking for it. I felt a bit tricked. Furthermore, I think your Aperol Spritz has been diluted with water. I have never had such a tasteless Aperol before. It was barely even orange.

We went to the restaurant completely by chance. Service was very friendly and attentive. The decor was very nice and the food was great. Best kibbeling ever!! I can recommend it without hesitation.

Great service. Very nice atmosphere. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was pressed meat and the fish was so-so. I found it misleading that the dessert in the 3-course menu (34E) is only coffee. Dessert costs extra.

Fresh fish was delicious but soup was so salty we couldn't eat it. What a shame. The staff didn't care and just presented us with the full invoice instead. Very expensive.

A lovely sunny terrace on the water, with a view of the marina, and what a delicious meal we had here! Kibbeling, North Sea plaice and the carpaccio sandwich, all beautifully presented and prepared in no time. The prices are very reasonable and the dishes are simply delicious. The welcome was very warm, we would love to come back here!
