The food was decent, but I didn't think it was great. A small piece of meat for €32 as a main course, with a lot of fat, was a real shame. The service was at the table every five minutes, which was really annoying. I'd rather raise my hand than have a kerr.

Not bad, but certainly not exceptional. A bowl of tomato soup in a five-course "surprise menu" is a bit of a letdown. Too expensive for what you get.

Beautiful restaurant with incredibly friendly staff. The food looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Highly recommended. The only downside was the enormous amount of flies and wasps.

Super cozy restaurant! Upon entering, we were immediately warmly welcomed by the nice manager and immediately seated at a table. Then we were spoiled with a glass of cava and a delicious amuse. We then enjoyed a fantastic 5-course menu from the chef with matching wines. Super tasty! The starter looked very nice and the tenderloin was cooked perfectly. Furthermore, the service was super nice to us and we were happy to be helped. A young girl and boy in the kitchen who work very hard and can cook fantastically. All in all, a top place!

Upon arrival, we were immediately welcomed very openly by the nice, sweet staff. We had a delicious meal and the courses were perfectly proportioned. When you drive up the driveway, it feels like you are in Tuscany because of the lights. I am very curious to see what this looks like on a beautiful, sunny day! Eventually we spoke to the staff who eventually had a nice chat/drink and we were invited to join them. That was the icing on the cake for us in hospitality. We had a nice chat about everything and anything. Interested, friendly people who do not stand for the hours but for their guests! Really enjoyed it, thank you very much restaurant Suus.

To be honest we don't understand all the good reviews, today we had lunch for the 2nd time. Unfriendly service (young girl) that more guests complained about to each other. Food was very tasty. Only prices very high for what you get. We are not big eaters but we left hungry. When we left we saw 3 boys in the kitchen who were stuffing hamburgers in. Very unprofessional. I live in the same street, but I will not go back for a third time. Maybe we were just unlucky? Given the good reviews.

Hele fijne Valentijnsdag gehad. Lekkere cocktailkaart. Ontvangst was prettig en het eten was heerlijk. De atmosfeer en akoestiek waren ook fijn.

Warm ontvangst, gezellig ingericht, je voelt je direct op je gemak. We waren vrij vroeg en in no time zat het hele restaurant vol. Goede akoestiek, leuke kaart, heerlijk gegeten, verrassend gerechten. Goede prijs/kwaliteit. De bediening was echt top. Voldoende aandacht voor de gast, niet teveel, maar vooral de manier waarop ze de gasten benaderen, is heel prettig. Eén van de medewerkers bleek deze avond voor het eerst te werken maar heeft talent. Ze had een natuurlijke flair, spontaan maar bovenal een prettige uitstraling. Ze benaderde al haar gasten met een glimlach wat ook bij alle gasten een grimlach tevoorschijn toverde. Heel mooi om te zien. Dit heb ik de laatste jaren vaak gemist in restaurants. We komen zeker nog eens terug.

We were here for lunch on a Sunday in December and surprisingly it was not busy at all. The food was very tasty. We were disappointed that the shakskuka had a fried egg instead of a poached egg. The portions were on the small side. Other than that it was very good and I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Restaurant Suus is voor ons echt een pareltje. We hebben door de jaren heen al heel wat mooie restaurants mogen ontdekken, van sterrenzaken in Nederland, Spanje, België en Frankrijk tot Bib Gourmand-adressen. Toch voelt het bij Suus elke keer weer alsof we thuiskomen. Dat komt door de relaxte sfeer, de geweldige bediening en de heerlijke gerechten die altijd ruim voldoende zijn – geen liflafjes hier! Deze keer begon onze avond met een absolute knaller: de crème brûlée van kreeft. Wát een gerecht! Romig, perfect op smaak en zo lekker dat je bijna het schaaltje zou uitlikken (bijna, hè😉). De Wagyu carpaccio was ook een schot in de roos. Met eendenlever en vers geschaafde truffel erbij was het een smaakexplosie, zo lekker. En dan de tartaar van paprika... wie had gedacht dat paprika zó verrassend lekker kon zijn? In combinatie met de citroen en die krokantjes van aardappel was het echt een feestje. Voor het hoofdgerecht ging ik voor de tournedos en mijn man koos de zeetong. En ja, daar is chef Guust Mortier écht een meester in: alles was perfect gegaard. De tournedos was boterzacht en vol van smaak, en de zeetong smolt bijna op je tong. Daarnaast is het ook altijd een feestje om te zien hoe prachtig de borden worden opgemaakt – het zijn net kleine kunstwerkjes. En dan de bediening… Die verdient een extra compliment! Altijd vriendelijk, netjes en ontzettend oplettend. Je zit hier nooit met een leeg glas aan tafel en je wordt echt compleet in de watten gelegd. We besloten de avond af te sluiten zonder dessert, maar met een heerlijk kopje koffie (Nespresso) en een selectie friandises. Een perfecte afsluiting van een geweldige avond. Bij Suus klopt gewoon alles. De sfeer, de smaken, de service… Je voelt je hier welkom en verwend. We kijken nu al uit naar de volgende keer, want één ding is zeker: dit blijft onze favoriete culinaire thuishaven!❤

Bediening is erg vriendelijk, heel fijn! Kregen vooraf een amuse met cava, dat was echt heerlijk. Een klein stukje brood met witvis. Voorgerecht hadden we: laat je verassen, 3 gerechtjes die de chef uitkiest. Dit was wagyu carpaccio (mocht wat zout op), crispy rice met tonijn tartaar (heel lekker), en paprika tartaar (was prima). Hoofdgerechten hadden we ribeye en zeetong. Ribeye was aan de taaie kant. Zeeton was heel erg droog en er zat veel peper op wat kwa smaak overheerst, je betaalt hier maar liefst €47 voor.. de bediening heeft heel lief een nieuw laten maken. De smaak was beter, geen peper, maar nog steeds zo droog dat je op een stukje vis gewoon heel lang moet kauwen.. ook kreeg je de vis moeilijk van de graat. Nogmaals gezegd dat het erg droog is, maar dat ik geen nieuwe meer hoef. Bediender kwam terug dat de kok het heeft geproefd en dat het zo hoort en dat er niks mis mee is.. erg jammer. Een goede zeetong is namelijk super mals en hoef je bijna niet te kauwen. Ik wil de bediening bedanken voor de goede zorgen! Daar heb ik echt niks op aan te merken! Maar voor dit geld, kan je ergens anders wel lekkerder eten helaas..

Ate here for the first time today. Cozy terrace, friendly and professional staff. I had the taco nori as a starter and the lobster risotto as a main course. I really liked the taco nori, the tuna had a good taste. The lobster risotto has an option to add 2 oysters, this option has an additional cost. I received the 2 oysters with my dish without being asked for them. In my opinion, the lobster risotto was far below standard, this was not risotto but dry-boiled lumps of rice. Burnt corn in it and a tough shrimp Scallop was still white, and the fish no longer shined (slightly overdone) I indicated this, but the kitchen responded that this is the way they make it. Ridiculous in my opinion. Finally tried to eat it, but neither I nor my girlfriend could eat it. One risotto was removed from the invoice, which I thought was neat, but I would have preferred not to pay for both.

Restaurant met een beetje trendy uitstraling met jong personeel maar wat een gastvrijheid! Bediening was echt top en als je glas leeg was werd deze binnen 1 minuut voorzien van en refill. We hadden vooraf de plateau de mezzes. Gerechtjes uit Arabische keuken. Was erg goed en smakelijk. Hoofdgerechten waren ook erfgoed. Tournedos was super mals en de javaanse saté heerlijk van smaak. Groenten beperkt. Al met al erg lekker. Wel behoorlijk aan de prijs.

This week we were looking for a nice place to have dinner with five French guests and we ended up at restaurant Suus in Best. Even though there was a cocktail party going on, we got a nice table in the nicely decorated conservatory. It immediately felt homely and warm. The staff deserves praise: incredibly friendly, hospitable and always willing to help. The wine list was a refreshing surprise, with clear descriptions of the wines and a nice selection to choose from. The food? Phenomenal. For this price point you can enjoy dishes of exceptional quality. The menu is clear with something for everyone. We were surprised by the chef for the starter and it was a hit. The ribeye was wonderfully tender, perfectly prepared and accompanied by flavorful vegetables. The guinea fowl with tomato risotto was particularly tasty, and here too, clear attention had been paid to the delicious accompanying vegetables. Everything just felt right. But what really stays with us is the incredibly delicious piece of pizza that we were also allowed to taste. It will definitely be on my list for next time! All in all a fantastic experience. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys delicious food in a nice atmosphere! 5 stars, without a doubt.

Definitely overpriced. Food is not bad, but more cafeteria than fine cuisine. Fresh orange juice is “fresh” from the bottle. Not coming again.

Had a delicious meal at restaurant Suus last night! We sat on a beautiful covered terrace, which can also be heated. Received generous portions and very friendly staff. We recommend everyone to go to Suus restaurant!

Gezellig, leuke bediening en ambiance, heerlijk eten en lekkere bijpassende wijnen. Wij hebben genoten van een heerlijke zondagmiddag lunch.

We had a nice lunch. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and has a great location. You can park in front of the door. Useful! My friend had the pizza with ham and truffle. The ham was really tasty, but the pizza itself was a bit simple for €16.50. I had 3 bruscetta's myself, one with the same ham from the pizza and it also had crab salad and tomato. The tomato and crab salad were tasty, but for me it could have been a little more exciting in terms of taste, but that is of course personal. They invest generously here. There was more than enough ham and crab salad on both the pizza and the bruscetta. The staff is also friendly and tries to think along with you.

Went to Suus's for dinner once because Ilgusto was closed. We heard that it was very expensive, but what is expensive when you leave with complete satisfaction. The duck breast as a starter was very tasty. Then a wild steak with a lovely winter bed. We had a delicious meal and we thought the price/quality was okay.

Heerlijk gegeten vandaag! Fijne, warme sfeer, lieve bediening & heerlijk gegeten! Ik ben zelf vegetarisch en de keuken heeft mij verrast met een gerecht buitenom de kaart!!

De ambiance was top, nieuwe frisse uitstraling. Personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, met fijne achtergrond muziek. Het eten is goed op kwaliteit, waarvoor je schappelijke prijzen betaald. Samenvattend een avond om niet te vergeten!

Ik heb mijn afscheid van werk hier gehouden, in een aparte ruimte. De Mezze en het dessert waren verrukkelijk, de bediening heel prettig en meedenkend. En Bas was de beste gastheer die een restaurant zich maar wensen kan!

Eten is simpel maar lekker. Goed hoor.

Prijs kwaliteit verhouding had ik meer van verwacht qua eten. Wel lekker veel groentes bij het hoofdgerecht tov wat ik meestal zie. Personeel is super vriendelijk, maar heeft wel haast. Na 1,5/1,75uur stonden we alweer buiten. 3 gerechten gegeten. Waarbij het voorafje mét de eerste gang werd geserveerd. Het hoofdgerecht stond na 20min weer op tafel en het dessert na 15min. We hadden graag wat meer tijd genomen.

Dit restaurant geboekt via social deal...heel knus van binnen..vriendelijk personeel..eten was heel lekker maar veel te weinig...was een 4 gangen diner en had er nog wel 1 opgekund...en dan heb ik niet eens een grote maag

2 broodjes carpaccio besteld met glas jus d'orange. Smaak niet verkeerd, maar de pijnboompitjes ontbraken. Bij melding hiervan werd hierop niet gereageerd. Glas jus was max 100cc. Grootste tegenvaller kwam pas achteraf bij het afrekenen. Voor het glas jus werd €7,50 gerekend! Oplichterij!

Mooie zaak waar je leuk kan zitten. En lekker eten. Wel zat er veel tijd tussen de gangen op het begin.

We zijn vanavond heel blij verrast bij restaurant Suus. Met name door de fijne bediening en vlotte service! Het eten is heerlijk en echt weer eens iets anders dan het doorsnee restaurant. We hebben genoten! Een echte aanrader als je van heerlijk eten in een gezellige ambiance houdt. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

Ik ben meerdere keren gaan eten bij dit restaurant en ik moet zeggen dat de kwaliteit van het eten echt uitstekend is. Het team is bijzonder vriendelijk en gastvrij, wat de ervaring des te aangenamer maakt. De gerechten hebben me keer op keer verrast en het restaurant is echt een verborgen pareltje in het dorp Best. De hoofd chef en zijn team zijn enorm skilled in de keuken. Ik kijk er al naar uit om hier snel weer terug te komen zodra ik weer in Nederland ben. Voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een geweldige eetervaring, kan ik dit restaurant van harte aanbevelen. Het is absoluut een aanrader!

Halverwege ieders route uitgekomen bij Suus. Wat een leuk pand. De auto kon ruim worden geparkeerd. Het ontvangst was hartelijk. De jonge man was enthousiast en had er overduidelijk zin in die avond. We hebben drie gangen gegeten en het was heerlijk. De gerechten waren allemaal goed op smaak en de borden mooi opgemaakt. Toch een klein puntje van aandacht. De frietjes en mayo smaakte even standaard als bij een doorsnee snackbar. Een ander soort friet en huisgemaakte mayonaise zou een mooie toevoeging zijn. De inrichting is cozy modern. Erg prettig. Hopelijk ben ik snel weer in de gelegenheid om langs te gaan.

De uitbouw was niet gezellig zitten. Tafelgenoten moesten wachten terwijl anderen het bord al leeg hadden. Toetje was niet geslaagd.

What a great find, we arrived after spending a day in a nearby playground (DippieDo) without reservation. 2 Adults, a 5 year old and a baby in a baby stroller are not easily to accommodate but the staff shifted some tables in their reservation system and provided us with a huge round table. We had about 1 hour 45 minutes for dinner since the table was needed at 20:00 o'clock again. We never felt rushed and had some great starters and mains. They have a very interesting menu and we wished we lived closer by so we could try the other options. ++ Friendly staff ++ Food is great + Nice and relaxing atmosphere + Clean toilets This restaurant is worth a detour!

Restaurant Suus is een hele sfeervolle plek! De bediening is vriendelijk. De borden zijn mooi opgemaakt We hebben hier lekker gegeten. Het voorgerecht en nagerecht waren heerlijk. Het hoofdgerecht met risotto was lekker, maar was nog beter geweest met wat minder risotto en wat meer groente.

In 1 woord 'Fantastisch'!! Super vriendelijk personeel, prachtig sfeervolle inrichting en een kok die zo ontzettend passievol staat te koken! Een genot om naar te kijken! Wij hebben bijna altijd 'ons' tafeltje, en ons zoontje van 9 jaar zit uren te kijken hoe Guust alles met liefde bereid. En Suus, wat een toppertje!!!

Ben nu 2x bij Suus geweest. Eerste keer samen met een vriendin. Eerst heerlijk geborreld en daarna gegeten. Helemaal top. Super gerechten, uit mijn confort zone, maar dat was de bedoeling. En is echt goed bevallen. Dus samen met 5 vrienden snel terug en wederom een top avond gehad. Bediening super aardig en kundig, top eten, uitgebreide wijnkaart. Wij komen zeker snel terug.

Geweldig restaurant! Altijd gezellige sfeer, zeer vriendelijk personeel, kaart wisselt geregeld dus je kunt variëren. Geen schreeuwende kinderen om je heen,lekker rustig dineren of borrelen, sfeer en temperatuur zijn prima binnen. Jong team, maar zeer gedreven, gemotiveerd en gepassioneerd. Top zaak!!
