We eat here very regularly and it is really always very good. Very good service, always a delicious menu with fantastically presented plates. Top chef. And the wine list is superb. Remains highly recommended!

Actually, I had one star in mind, but a Michelin star. If you haven't been there yet, you really should go. The atmosphere that is also written about always depends heavily on the people who are there. For example, we sat next to a group who were having a great time, and that is possible there.

What a lovely and especially surprising place, with an intimate and cozy restaurant offering great service and culinary delights with beautiful plates. A friendly welcome, and the whole evening was filled with smiles and a relaxed atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves 🥂

‘t Swaentje manages to surprise us every single time. We eat here on average once a year, but honestly, that is far too little. What a fantastic restaurant and a real gem for ’s-Graveland. This time we opted for the 6-course chef's menu with a matching wine pairing, and truly every course was a treat. The evening started immediately with the impressive tuna, paired with ponzu gel, sesame pearls, cucumber, and flower petals; beautifully presented and perfectly balanced. This was followed by a delicious scallop with samphire, langoustine sauce, and bulgur; refined and full of flavor. The steak tartare was also amazing: the jalapeño foam provided just the right amount of kick, while the smoked egg yolk cream and Jerusalem artichoke crumbs finished it off perfectly. Next came the crispy boneless sparerib with mustard cress, frothy asparagus, and kimchi; surprising, original, and incredibly tasty. The main course, the pan-fried veal loin with confit potato, roasted asparagus, and rosemary jus, was truly top-notch. And as if that wasn't enough, the dessert provided a perfect conclusion: a white chocolate panna cotta with honey and lemon, strawberry-fennel compote, and strawberry and Tabasco sorbet. A wonderful combination of fresh, sweet, and exciting. Additionally, we were served incredibly kindly and hospitably all evening by a very attentive lady, which made the evening even more special. You really feel welcome here. We had a TOP evening and are already looking forward to the next time. Keep up the good work Meindert, compliments to the chef and the very friendly staff. Due to the large open space, it is (too) noisy. The food tastes good, but the portions are too small. We ordered white wine as an aperitif, and then white wine was poured. There was no question beforehand about what kind of white wine, nor any explanation of which white wine was being served. The request not to include truffles in the vegetarian menu had unfortunately already been forgotten by the time the main course arrived.

If you want to eat really well, this is the place to be. Nice ambiance, good staff, and a top chef. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

What a breathtaking experience of foo, atmosphere and hospitality. This was my second time visiting and was just a wonderful, relaxing place to immerse yourself into the culinary world. The first time I visited, we had the 4 course menu which was absolutely divine. The second visit, we requested for the vegetarian option which was also really amazing, however found the flavors less deep for the appetizer and starter and they also made use of gelatin which does come from animals, which for me was not an issue at as I am not a vegetarian, however something for you to consider for vegetarians. With that being said, I still give it a 5 star rating because its just such an amazing place and a place one should visit at least once.

Wat hebben wij genoten van de lunch op het terras. Attente en vriendelijke bediening. Mooie smakelijke gerechten die er qua opmaak ook mogen zijn. Uitgesproken smaken en combinaties met heerlijke begeleidende wijnen. Een echte aanrader en we komen zeker terug!

We hebben hier vanavond zeldzaam lekker gegeten. Mijn voorgerecht, de bisque, was zeer smaakvol en het voorgerecht van mijn man was ook al zo lekker. We hadden beiden de rosé gebakken ree als hoofdgerecht. Goed vlees en goed bereid. Erbij lekkere puree en groenten op een bijzondere manier bereid en gepresenteerd. Er is een ruime keuze uit wijnen per glas en deze zijn van goede kwaliteit. De bediening is attent en goed getimed. De inrichting is gezellig. Kortom, we hebben een top avond gehad in dit restaurant. Ps het wild is echt vers, er werden vanavond verse hazen gebracht (bijna zin om morgen weer te gaan eten)

The food here is fantastic and served quickly too. We all enjoyed the high quality. The only downside is that no price of the recommended wine was mentioned. By the way, parking is a difficult story. That also explained the number of bicycles in front of the building. That doesn't change the fact that we would love to come back here!

Had dinner here with my parents tonight for my birthday and had an excellent meal again! We have been coming here for years when there is something to celebrate and it is always a celebration in terms of food and atmosphere. The staff is very hospitable and genuinely friendly, something you rarely see in restaurants anymore. TOP!!

Last Saturday we had dinner at 't Swaentje for the 3rd time in the past 3 years and opted for the (changing every 3 weeks!) chef's menu including wine arrangement. That was another fantastic choice. 6 beautiful dishes, each of which was a success. It's also nice to be able to add a 6th surprise dish to the 5-course chef's menu. Extra compliments for the service, which consisted of the owner and 1 lady where we were used to more staff. All dishes and wines were neatly explained and we never had to wait for anything. Thank you for the beautiful evening and we will definitely come back more often!

We had a wonderful evening. We had a hard time choosing so the chef's five-course menu was tempting! And good, varied and with vegetables. The matching wines were great, happy to have been here! And be sure to have coffee after your lunch or dinner, there are quite a few delicacies included.

Wat een cadeautje is dit! We kwamen hier onverwacht terecht voor de lunch en gingen jubelend weg. Alles klopt. En wij zijn best kritisch. Het eten is zeer goed bereid, smakelijk en ziet er ook nog eens prachtig uit. Er spreekt liefde voor het vak uit. De wijn - wij hadden de Grauburgunder - was perfect en op de juiste temperatuur. Een verrassend en goed samengesteld kaasplankje maakte het compleet. De bediening is vriendelijk, discreet en altijd daar op het juiste moment. Het interieur is warm en uitnodigend en het terras ook prima. Wij gaan snel weer naar ‘t Swaentje. En ik kan het iedereen aanraden die van goed eten met een fijne service houdt.

In een woord geweldig! Fijne gastheer, super prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. De gerechten vallen onder de noemer “echte smaaksensaties”. Het is ontzettend sfeervol en niet te druk, waardoor je heerlijk in alle rust kunt genieten. Kortom een restaurant wat wij je echt kunnen aanbevelen!

Due to car trouble, I accidentally ended up at 't Swaentje and there my daughter and I were given a very nice and hospitable welcome. We were able to stay - adapted to the situation - and would like to thank the host, service and kitchen for a relaxing moment waiting for the roadside assistance! We will definitely visit again when we are in the area!

Welkom geheten door een vriendelijke heer. Mooi plekje aan het raam in dit fraaie pand. Prettige en kundige bediening door twee jongedames. Mooie gerechten, bijpassende wijnen uit Duitsland, Frankrijk, Italië. Borden prachtig opgemaakt. Blaadjes cress ontbraken niet. Aangename ervaring!

Heerlijk gegeten tijdens een bruiloft

Voor ons was dit de eerste kennismaking met 't Swaentje. Ondanks dat we al meer dan 25 jaar in deze omgeving wonen en vaak uit eten gaan was dit restaurant nog niet op onze radar verschenen. Ten onrechte! We hebben een heerlijke avond gehad met mooie gerechten en bijpassende wijnen. We komen hier zeker vaker terug.

Met z'n 4en gegeten, hadden kok keuze menu. Poahhh wat was t goed en lekker. Zeer de moeite waard om dit mooie tentje te boeken.

Ach, dit was een onvergetelijke avond, klasse. Van het begin tot het eind perfect. De ontvangst was aardig, goed tafel. Super mooie gerechten die ook nog heerlijk waren. Hier komen we meer.

Het is altijd een feestje als je hier gaat eten. Mooie gerechten, fantastische smaken en zeer prettige gastvrije bediening.

Wat een feest voor het oog en de mond. Zeer prettige en professionele bediening! Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Zit in wat hogere segment maar dan krijg je ook wat! Hier nog rustig eten zonder dat je weggekeken wordt! Aanrader!

Dit is ons lievelingsrestaurant. Zeer vriendelijke bediening en goede sfeer. Het chef’s menu is altijd een feestje. De borden zien er uit als kunstwerkjes en de smaak is prachtig in balans. Het wijnadvies bij de gerechten brengt alles samen. Mijn man sprak met de chef die zeer gepassioneerd vertelde hoe hij dagen bezig kon zijn met proeven en aanpassen om een nieuw gerecht perfect op smaak te krijgen. En dat was ook deze keer weer prima gelukt :)

Very good food but super expensive for nothing . The beer (0,2) costs 3,75€! approximately 30€ if you want to drink 1L . 2 guys we paid 155€ and I was still hungry.

Fantastisch restaurant met geweldige keuken en perfect gastheerschap door Mijndert Groen! Alles is uitmuntend, van de ambiance, aankleding, uitstraling tot de bediening, de variatie op de kaart, het wijnadvies en uiteraard de overheerlijke gerechten. Maximaal genieten hier!

Goede service, alle gerechten goed uitgelegd en kon dingen simpel aanpassen aan het 5 gangen menu. Heerlijk gegeten! Vooral het wild van de jacht was erg lekker. Net als de kip met tom yum. En schone mooie toiletten, ook altijd fijn. Parkeren was wel vol, maar verder ook in de straat ook gratis parkeren beschikbaar.

1e kerstdag hebben wij een fantastisch 6-gangen sterwaardig gegeten. Bedankt crew voor de heerlijke én gezellige avond! ! !

Seriously good food with a keen eye on presentation for a fair price point, although there seems to be a bit of 'shrinkflation' resulting in small portions. The deer and lamb preparations are close to impeccable and the deserts are nice and tres instagrammable. The terrace is nice with warm weather. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Wat een ydillische locatie, wat een mooi interieur. Over de verlichting is goed nagedacht. Nog nooit zo,n heerlijke kippendij gegeten, nog nooit zo verlangd naar de andere dij van de kip. De dessertkazen waren van grote klasse. De lieve voorkomende bediening zorgt voor een feestelijke avond.

Was für ein Erlebnis. Unglaublich gute Speisen und sehr schön angerichtet. Der Service ist hervorragend und überaus umsichtig sowie sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns rundum sehr wohl gefühlt. Neben dem Restaurant steht Abends ein kostenfreier Parkplatz zur Verfügung und das Lokal ist barrierefrei zu erreichen für Rollstuhlfahrer.
