Delicious food! Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Very friendly couple who own it. Delicious food in generous portions. Also nice: you can order tap water without any hassle, and you even get ice cream in it! It's free. The mini desserts are fantastic and also available as a trio for those who can't decide. We'll definitely be back! We went again today and it was still great! This time we took the kids with us. They loved it too and would love to go again. We will!

I ordered the Flan from the menu, as one of two vegetarian main dishes. What I got were only roasted vegetables in slices with some melted cheese on top... We also ordered sangria which was not tasty at all. The two hot tapas we ordered were better. Nevertheless the service was really good.

Great gluten-free dining experience! We called the day before, and they told us they'd prepare the gluten-free tapas in advance to ensure safety. They explained that they often see customers with celiac disease and that they know how to prepare the food safely. I'm very sensitive to gluten and get nervous when dining out, but this place really put me at ease. Excellent communication and a good variety of dishes (even vegetarian options if you let us know in advance). I'll definitely be back :)

What a great place! Friendly and funny staff. We had so many laughs. Delicious tapas, and everything is served at a leisurely pace, allowing you to linger at the table. I honestly regret not having discovered this place sooner. Highly recommended! Excellent flavors and not a generic dish. Kudos!

Really enjoyed it tonight! The food had Burgundian highlights like steak, cold watermelon soup, garlic chicken, cod croquettes, and grilled butterfish. The service was top-notch. A family restaurant like you rarely find these days. We've got regular customers!

Beer was not good and the price was not cheap. Food was okay, but for the price of unlimited tapas it was a bit disappointing. Staff very friendly!

We went for the unlimited tapas option—some dishes were tasty, others were just okay. The flavors and prices don’t quite match authentic Spanish tapas, and they didn’t have many classic tapas dishes either. Still, it’s not bad at all. The service was fantastic!

Saturday night, slightly tipsy, I decided I didn't feel like cooking and so I went to see if they had room for me. What a great experience! The staff is very friendly, easy to chat with and they clearly know what they are talking about. And then the food... I chose beef tenderloin pieces; these were served with fried mushrooms (!), bell pepper, onions and bacon (together with tasty potato pieces and a fresh salad) and I really enjoyed the taste. Because I was already slightly tipsy I limited myself to 2 beers, but next time I will definitely have a glass of red wine with it. All in all a very nice restaurant, beautiful location between the Hoogstraat and the Plantsoen ("next to" the Hema) and I can really recommend a visit!

Vanavond samen genoten van het onbeperkt tapas menu. Gezellig restaurant met vriendelijk en meedenkend gastvrouwen. Zeer de moeite waard en we komen zeker terug als we weer in de buurt logeren.

Excellent Spanish restaurant. Every now and then we drop in if there is a table available (or make a reservation - especially at the weekend). Sufficient choice on the menu or tapas menu that is spacious. Atmosphere is good, excellent personal service. Love coming here.

Wat top weer, heerlijke spijzen. En wat een service. Korting zonder te vragen omdat we te weinig hebben gegeten. Waar maak je dat mee. Dus een dikke tip op zijn plaats.

Mediocre, not again. Staff are friendly. Expensive for what you get. Much is not fresh (was frozen and/or heated up in a pan as the employee said) Some dishes are cold on the inside, borderline or undercooked. Reported, but nothing was done. Just an oh..... Anyway, missed opportunity. Shame

Ambiance was good! It wasn't too busy and I could hear my conversation partner well, which is a relief at dinner these days. Staff is friendly and fast service. Food was a bit disappointing. It wasn't very Spanish, everything was: "ok, but". For example, sausages were tasty, but very greasy. Salsa was again quite sweet and not spicy at all. Lomo was nice portion, but again very dry. Steaks and stuffed peppers were exceptional in terms of quality and are definitely recommended. Price-quality ratio was therefore out of balance. Fortunately it was a pleasant evening, but we missed the Spanish temperament a bit. Also easy to park nearby.

Laatste ervaring was helaas iets minder. De soep en wijn was top. De calamare leek echter niet vers (taai) en thuis hadden we beiden de ingewanden van slag, zat in de vis tapas denk ik. Ik had minder hiervan gegeten en had minder last. Erg jammer want de sfeer is top en de vorige keer was perfect

What an incredibly warm welcome, very hospitable. We had a delicious meal, especially the garlic soup, steak skewers and butterfish. Wide choice and 100x better than tapas chains. You can taste that the food is prepared with love. We also received jugs of water with ice on the table, which was very nice. The children were allowed to choose a nice cup for their children's ice cream.

Are you looking for a trendy place, a glamorous experience that you will talk about for years to come?...enjoy yourself. But if you are looking for a no-nonsense experience, honest, authentic service, a clear menu and delicious food, then I highly recommend Toledo! Had a great time with my wife and friends last night. Unfortunately it was not really busy and in our opinion that was not right. We wish everyone this kind of living room feeling where you are more likely to be underdressed and can enjoy a culinary evening out at a fair price. Hetty, we would love to come back again!

Walked in here for a good glass of Rioja reserva. Two plates of tapas with Jamon (ham) and calamari Fritos, very tasty and freshly prepared. So quiet in the restaurant on weekdays. Friendly service. Pet friendly restaurant always a plus.

Although the owners were very friendly, this has nothing to do with tapas. A kind of Dutch basic variant perhaps. We had dessert at the neighbor's house and regretted that we didn't eat everything there. Still paid quite a lot of money, which really wasn't worth it. Shame.

Wat een geweldige avond. Lekker eten. Huiskamer gezelligheid de 29e. Eten was goed en de barman was echt helemaal leuk. Wat een koning.

The host and hostess are super friendly and extremely helpful. We were on the motorcycle and they cleared space for us to put the stuff away. The food is super tasty and well prepared. The atmosphere feels very village-like, which was very nice for us. It immediately feels like you've been coming there for years. The only negative point was that after the first round we had to wait almost 45 minutes for the 2nd round of tapas. But after we indicated that we wanted something faster, it was arranged immediately.

Koningsdag samen met vrienden gaan eten bij Toledo, in het centrum van Wageningen. We hebben gekozen voor de tapas en dat was een hele juiste keuze. Voldoende keuze voor iedereen en zeer smaakvol klaargemaakt. Bijzonder vriendelijke bediening. Een echte aanrader: zowel sfeer als eten.

In het weekend met vier personen tapas wezen eten. Ruim 20 jaar geleden kwam hier al graag en veelvuldig. Er is weinig veranderd…. Zelfde eigenaren die erg hartelijk zijn en smakelijk eten. Gewoon een No nonsens zaak waar je je echt snel thuis voelt. Op zaterdagavond gratis parkeren zeer vlakbij dus wat wil een mens nog meer.

Ate here with friends. Soup lukewarm. And the tapas a bit cowardly. It is okay to sprinkle something bold with herbs. The fried mussels are highly recommended. Don't eat the calamari. Very cozy and nice and friendly staff. Conclusion: nice evening, delicious food, but it could be a bit more exciting.

Ate here last Wednesday, we were warmly welcomed and taken care of. Food and drinks were simply delicious. Daughter forgot her cell phone and they also put it on the charger because it was empty. What a service. Would love to come here again and again... :)

Tasty tapas and a very pleasant place to eat. At Toledo you can see the difference between the large all you can eat restaurants and the authentic restaurants. Still able to enjoy a delicious meal (pick up) during the corona period. The fish was grilled fresh for us the moment we walked in. Portions were good and large for a reasonable price. Nice hostess who came to have a chat while waiting. Definitely worth 5 stars.

The atmosphere was reasonable, but there was hardly anyone there. I thought the food was more on the bad side. I had lamb but it was very tough. The mustard soup was mmmm not much taste.

A Thursday evening in Wageningen and looking for a nice meal........ our tip is Tapas bar Toledo. The reviews are purely positive and we share the positive reviews of our predecessors. A very friendly welcome is the first positive thing to report. The feeling of being welcome and that the hostess is looking forward to a great evening for the customer. The fresh baguette with various spreads was a tasty starter and was supplemented with a garlic soup. Tasty with a delicate hint of garlic on the tongue...... The Tapas menu offers sufficient choice from carnivore to omnivore and vegetarian enthusiasts will also experience little difficulty in making their choice. Sometimes an extensive menu produces a certain flatness of flavors, but certainly not here. Every dish had a good taste experience, although it could have been refined here and there in terms of nuance. The fillet steaks serve as an example of this. A more distinctive taste would have been possible there. But the skewer with steak from the grill was excellent. Fine taste, perfect cooking and a tender structure. As a 100% carnivore with extensive experience in Primo BBQ, we recognize the craftsmanship of our chef. The fact that he also turns out to be a fan of Laurel and Hardy was the dessert. Toledo is highly recommended and we wish our cook and hostess a full business in the near future.

Haven't been for a few years. Tried again tonight. Fortunately, there is still 1 table available, so that says enough. Really delicious food and for an excellent price. In my opinion, Toledo is one of the few top dining options in Wageningen. It is time for the interior to be updated. Not that this is important to me, but it might be to others.
