This place is really underrated. The vibes atmosphere and staff specially SOKA is very nice . Food quality was very good and fast service. Prices are normal. Italian dish named Oven Sea is highly recommended. Each Portion is big and enough for two…well at least on my appetite😅.Definitely will come back.

Pretty relaxing place to enjoy some really flavourfull dishes. The waiters were outstanding and very friendly (including the cook). We will for sure come back some day. Definitely recommended.

I am a big lover of Italian food! I live in Barcelona so we have many amazing Italian food places. But the best Pizza I had in years was the Diavola pizza 🍕in Tasty Italy ..oh my! Also the starter Carpaccio was delicious. Loved the place itself, the owner Aziz is a crack he knows what he is doing. Next time I m back in Waalwijk I will go again and try out the other food they have. ❤️

Had a delicious meal, good and efficient service

Had a great meal after a visit to Efteling. The pasta and pizza look good and taste delicious. The staff is friendly but young and perhaps a bit inexperienced. The place looks beautiful. All in all, a great experience.

One of the best pizzas in Waalwijk but also offering an amazing chicken! I highly recommend you give it a try. From pizzas, calzone is fantastic but also 4 cheese pizza is great. Good to know you can also order takeaways.

We ate here yesterday with 4 people. Very good restaurant, the dishes were top-notch. Very tasty and original. Two points of attention: the ladies' restroom could use some improvement, and we would have liked another round of drinks, but we weren't asked. But we had a lovely evening, the food was delicious, and there is a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

So good we ate here twice on our holidays. Gorgeous clean restaurant, amazing staff, amazing smells. On both visits we got the bruschetta and foccica to start and omg - divine. We shared pizza & chips first night between two, and child got nuggets and chips. Other visit hubby got the Pollo parmahino, I got the tasty burger and child got kids margarita pizza (was least 10") . Also the tiramisu and the pistachio tiramisu were amazing so tasty

The food is fine, but the restaurant looks like a poorly maintained greasy spoon. The staff have no idea what they are serving and don't seem very interested either.

Went out to eat with 6 adults and 4 children; it was tasteless. We didn't have to pay for one pasta dish, the hamburger was bland, the minced meat was unseasoned and very, very dry, and a children's dish of fries with a chicken croquette was extremely dry. We won't be coming back here.

Unfortunately, I can't say anything good. Overall, I didn't find a taste of Italy, despite several dishes. Neither the appetizer, the main course, nor the pizza—none of them had any typical Italian flavor. The service was unenthusiastic, with poor customer service. The wait for the food was quite long.The dishes are served on wooden boards that look very worn, damaged, broken, and cut.The pizza dough was raw and burnt, the bread from the starter was dry and stale, no spices, no olive oil... Dirty colingcan for water.....

Every time we eat at Tasty Italy, it is a real treat! Upon entering, the olive trees and oleanders immediately put you in the right mood. Inside, you can see the cozy stone oven burning, where the most delicious pizzas are prepared. We had a big group of 36 - a mix of adults teens and little ones. We had the whole downstairs area. The food came out in perfect order and was delicious. Service was excellent. 100% recommend 🙌

We went to Efteling for a few days and had a delicious meal there. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

A large Italian restaurant. On Saturday, it was almost completely full. The pizzas are delicious! The acoustics are terrible. You can barely hear the staff when you're sitting at a table with a large group. It also takes a really long time to get your food. What we found especially annoying (there were nine of us) was that some people got their food and some didn't. So the first group had already finished it before the second group got theirs. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and the pizzas were delicious. I would definitely go there on a quieter day. Legend 1) Terrible! I wouldn't recommend it, I'll never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't be back. 3) Okay, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special, nice for a one-time visit. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend it, I'll definitely be back!

I used to be very satisfied, sometimes coming twice a week. But in the last year, it's gone downhill. The volume of dishes has halved, the quality has also gone up, and the prices have gone up considerably. You have to wait ages, and they always forget something, like drinks or ingredients you paid for that simply aren't in the dish. And the fact that two girls always have to work their butts off, tending the bar, taking the bill, and then serving the food is just asking for trouble. It's certainly not the girls' fault; they really try their best, but it's just not feasible. It's a shame. I used to enjoy coming here, but after the last six bad experiences, ending with food poisoning, it's time to stop giving people a chance.

We were served by Jasmine. She was a super nice and spontaneous girl, and very hospitable. The food was also delicious.

My favorite pizza restaurant for both takeout and a cozy dinner. The staff is hardworking and friendly, and at the checkout counter, you get a delicious Italian treat from the candy jar.

It wasn't very busy (on a Tuesday). Personally, I find it too spacious to create a truly cozy atmosphere. It is, however, clean and tidy. The food was excellent. Delicious pizzas for a reasonable price. The service was excellent, and they regularly asked if we wanted anything else to drink. It's a shame that we had to wait quite a while for our food after ordering. With two young children, that's not ideal.

Four of us went to Tasty Italy for dinner. We'd been before and it was always excellent. Tonight we had a focaccia and a misto italiano (appetizer platter) to share. A great start! Then we each chose a pizza, which we split 2 for 2. Delicious, thin-crust, and perfectly cooked. Afterward, we had espresso, coffee, panna cotta, and dama bianca. We had a delicious meal! After paying and leaving, we were walking to the nearby theater when one of the waitresses ran after us through the snow and returned my phone, which I'd left on the table. So kind! Thanks!!!

Went there on December 30, 2025, at 9:00 PM. It was quiet, with a nice atmosphere. The pizza was excellent: truly Italian, with a light crust and not too heavy. The service was also very friendly. Definitely recommended!

After the drama of the last time, I went out for dinner with my family again. The kids got to choose. 😂 The result was better. However, the food was lukewarm and tasteless. Fortunately, it was pleasant, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and professional.

The food is okay, but it takes a long time to be prepared. What I find odd is that you have to pay for cheese on the pasta. In other restaurants, you don't have to. Compared to other restaurants, I find the food expensive. You certainly don't pay that for the service, which I find really slow and sluggish. The restaurant exudes ambiance with its decor, but I don't see that reflected in the staff.

The food was very good and the staff very friendly. It did take a while for our food to arrive, even though it wasn't busy, but otherwise, everything was fine.

I come here regularly with my wife and I must say that they really understand how to bake pizza here. The dough is really super tasty, everything on the pizza is fresh and delicious. In short, highly recommended and I think it's the best pizza I've ever eaten.

The food was good, but the pizza pollo had only four pieces of chicken. It also took over an hour, though the restaurant was 60% full, so I can live with that.

The service was excellent, with attention to detail and always with a smile. In short, a restaurant that lives up to its name. Highly recommended for anyone who loves delicious Italian food and hospitality!

This is the only Italian restaurant in the area that can truly call itself Italian. One bite of pizza is enough to know that the dough is phenomenal and the process of making it is an art! The pizzas, pasta, and burgers are always made with the freshest ingredients, and you can definitely taste it! All the pizzerias and pasta shops in Waalwijk and the surrounding area are a big plus compared to this fantastic restaurant. The quality for the price is truly unparalleled, and we eat here regularly. Not just any Happy Italy junk, but a true phenomenon. A "MUST VISIT" for anyone who truly loves delicious, traditional Italian food! In a word, AMAZING!

We came here late from Efteling. The staff were really welcoming, speaking perfect English and being really accommodating with my husband, 2 children and I. The food was amazing and prepared fresh.

The penne arrabiata was delicious, nicely blackened, well-seasoned, and fruity with a hint of tomato. The pizza dough was also very good! I really liked the ambiance, modern and stylish.

Reasonably high expectations given the good reviews, but unfortunately a different experience. We had to wait an hour for our food, which is not entirely feasible with young children. A man next to us got his starter and main course within half an hour even though he sat down later than us, we thought this was strange. I think the kitchen was understaffed? We will no longer return to this Italian.

We came to eat here before visiting the Efteling Theater. Friendly welcome and smooth service. Food was very tasty, portions were good so you couldn't overeat. Sanitary facilities were neatly maintained.
