We had a wonderful meal! The atmosphere was fantastic and incredibly cozy. The service was also top-notch! The ladies helped us choose the mezze (snacks) so the eight of us could share them easily. The lady was even so kind as to put a small heater at our table for one of us who was very cold ❤️! It was a wonderful evening.

Unfortunately, neither the food nor the service were great or fast. After the food is served, they rarely ask if you'd like anything else to drink.

Was staying around the neighbourhood and was starving. It was probably 9ish and google maps said they were open till 11 or something, anyways when we got there it looked like they were closing up and i asked if they were still serving food. The busser had to ask another lady and she said yes! That meant so much to us since we got there that day and were exhausted. Not only were they hospitable but SUPER friendly since they didn’t really speak english and we don’t speak dutch. It felt like they gave us a great big hug metaphorically speaking. She also said not to rush the meal and gave us turkish tea after the meal. She was like my mom away from home❤️ This is the BEST service i’ve had in an eternity. Support local and don’t be afraid to venture out of your comfort zone, you never know what you’re going to find. I send best wishes to this place and if i’m in the neighbourhood again, 100% coming here. We got some sort of platter you can’t really tell cuz a pita is drooped over all the grilled meat, it was dang delicious there was not a morsel left. Try this place out.

The quality drop from last year is immense. I had some ok food here before, and it was my third time coming here. I won’t be back. Sac kavurma was inedible, spaghetti bolognese barely edible, and cigkofte was supermarket-bought at best. The quality of the food is not acceptable for any restaurant, let alone one that charges regular-high prices (higher than several other Turkish restaurants to be honest). The kavurma was soaked in fat, the rice floating in it, the meat smelt bad and tasted like it was cooked twice. Taste of bolognese was better, but also dripping fat and very heavy. I am attaching pictures here because it was unbelievable. Neither of us could finish our meals. The sad part is nobody asked about how we found our food - even when we were paying the bill, so we paid and left. One star is for the friendly service and the presentation of the food on the plates. My advice is not to go there if you don’t want to get sick and to spend your money elsewhere.

We tried the manti because my wife wanted it, so I had the yayla kebab. It far exceeded my expectations. The food took a while to arrive, but once you taste it, you'll understand why the wait.

This restaurant is a gem ! Welcoming staff and delicious food. I ate mezze in many places, but these were the finest sigara I've ever eaten in my life ! From the cacik to the kofte, every course was perfect. If you stay in Amsterdam, I highly recommend this place. It may seems a little bit far from downtown, but it's like ten minutes walk from the subway 52, so it's a short hop from Amsterdam Central Station.

I have never tasted garlic sausage like the one served here. It was truly exceptional. The flavor was rich, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. The chicken was another highlight. It was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The presentation was beautiful and showed great attention to detail. Every part of the meal reflected care and quality. Delicious food, the meat dish well prepared, customer and child friendly. Definitely recommended. A small tip, a lactose free dessert such as sorbet ice cream, my 6 year old daughter was sad.

The food was delicious, but what really makes this place special is the staff. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome. Not in a forced way, but real — genuinely friendly, with attention to detail and a smile that stays with you the whole evening.

The appetizers, meats and turnip juices were delicious. The smiling faces and warm-heartedness of Emine and her other colleagues were something else. And I must say that I have never had such a good tea anywhere before. We had a wonderful evening thanks to them :)

Turquoise Meating in Amsterdam-Noord is highly recommended. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with beautiful Turkish music in the background and a beautiful interior that immediately stands out. The staff is friendly and cordial – always with a smile. All kinds of people come together, which makes it extra fun. Most importantly, the food is delicious. Personally, I like the chicken wings the best, and for dessert the künefe is also delicious. A place where you will definitely want to come back. ;)

A super nice restaurant where hospitality is very palpable. The food tastes delicious! Fancy something of everything? Then go for the 'chef's specialties' for 2 or 3 people. A large bowl with various types of meat, grilled vegetables, salad and butter rice. Enjoy a glass of wine and beer, then finish with a cup of tea on the house.

On the advice of friends, we went to Turquoise for dinner 2 weeks ago. Friendly reception and service staff. The mixed grill was delicious (highly recommended). We will definitely come by again.

The food was delicious, the best we had eaten in Amsterdam. Manti was the best, even better than what we had in Germany, we felt comfortable here, the food is very delicious as I said, very clean and beautiful atmosphere! The service and the team were all super nice! Adana Kebap and Beyti Sarma with Manti and at the end Turkish tea with Red Velvet was simply delicious here! We will definitely come back next time we are in Amsterdam!

Staff was super friendly and a bit nervous because of the owner's high quality standards. It remains human work😅. The owner is a wonderful hostess, as if you were visiting your lovely aunt ♥️. The food was not as written and you could find meat among fried vegetables, the best place if you are vegetarian is a plate full of vegetables. Meat completely raw, ask for an exchange, the same cutlet they bring back as burnt, so it is that good there and the taste and quality are no longer there as they used to be.

After a warm welcome by the hostess in this pleasantly decorated restaurant, 12 people enjoyed all the food. It was our first time here, but certainly not the last time. Our Turkish brother-in-law also enjoyed it and would like to go back again.
