What a fantastic restaurant! The service is so friendly and helpful. They really went out of their way to create special dishes for us, taking our gluten and lactose intolerances into account. The taste and presentation were fantastic, see the photos. Definitely recommended!

Yesterday we had a delicious meal in a lovely, nostalgic atmosphere, with a good selection and friendly staff. The evening was well-organized (evening of table preparation), nothing to complain about. It's a shame that the next morning we discovered we paid €1.50 for a small glass of tap water; 1000 liters of tap water costs €1.26 in the Netherlands. Response from Nadorst: people readily pay €6.00 ​​for a bottle of mineral water, so you can also pay for tap water. It's a shame that a bottle of tap water costs around €9.00 here. It didn't spoil our evening, but we did have a slight hangover the next day.

The bread in bags was terrible. No plates to put the bread on. The fries were mediocre. The mayonnaise containers were pathetic. Ask for more, and you get another pathetic container. We were with a large group. The fish eaters thought the amount they received was very small.

The four of us went to this restaurant for dinner. We'd known it for lunch and often brought our children there because of the playground. The food was very good, and the service was professional. Unfortunately, the main course went wrong, and we waited an hour for it. Coffee didn't arrive with dessert, but after addressing the staff, it was quickly brought back with an apology. It was very full, which contributed to the pleasant atmosphere. Perhaps that's why the kitchen was delayed, but it was still a bit of a disappointment.

What a lovely place! What struck us most was the incredibly friendly and attentive service; we were impressed. We sat outside on the terrace, and our children had a blast on the trampoline and go-kart. The food was well-prepared and the price-quality ratio was excellent. Highly recommended.

The sign said, “Good-day, wait here a moment and we will find you a place.” We left. Not sure I want to try again after feeling snubbed by all the staff. Several servers saw us and did nothing.

We were here with a group of 14 people for a Christmas brunch from 12 noon to 4 p.m. At 1 p.m. we got something to eat for the first time, bread and crackers with spread. At the main meal the fish was lukewarm, the vegetarian meal lukewarm and the guinea fowl undercooked. No more Christmas brunch for us at Nadorst, a lot of money wasted.

Er zat friet bij ons diner dat hadden ze niet verteld ze lieten ons friet bijbestellen. Bij het tafeltje naast ons werd wel verteld dat sla en friet bij het diner zat vervolgens werd er ook 5x gevraagd of we wat wilden drinken. What a great restaurant. Atmosphere was great and diet and allergies were handled very well. They know what you eat!

Food was tasty but the service dramatic. First had to ask for the card three times. Then we had to ask if we could place our order. I had to ask for bread as a starter again and it finally arrived 5 minutes before our main course. I had to ask extra for the salad that comes with the menu. After the first round, we were not asked once if we wanted something to drink. I canceled the wine I asked for after 20 minutes. It wasn't extremely busy. It seemed very pleasant around the bar and with famous guests. We went home for dessert.

September 21, '24 celebrated at the Nadorst with 70 guests. It was a successful party because of the cozy hall, super nice, smooth, personal and hospitable service, delicious and more than enough snacks with extra attention to different diets. Arranged a DJ myself. The music/sound sounded good through the music ring. In short, absolutely great!

Had a very nice day today with the Saab Cabrio Group. This beautiful restaurant was the start and finish location and we had our own terrace with an adjacent room. From there there was coffee and something tasty before the start and upon return the bar was open for a delicious drink. We had a great time. We were 80 people in 40 Saab Convertibles. It was all well organized so definitely worth recommending.

Definitely worth repeating. Hopefully in the summer and on the terrace, which looked very nice when I cycled past it last summer. The classic burger was very tasty, just like the bite of satay that I tasted.

First with the steam tram, reserved privately with family and friends. We got married at Twisk station on a ride from Hoorn to Medemblik, after which we got off on the way back and celebrated our party in the Uitspanning de Nadorst restaurant. The terrace is also very cozy with sun and shade areas and a play area for the children and a trampoline. The food and drinks here are more than excellent and the interior is very nicely decorated. Highly recommended!

Had a family party today. With lunch and old Dutch games. Very nice. Excellent service, they had to look every time to see who had ordered what, but that went really well. Children also had a great time. Very well organised.

We had dinner here for the family in honor of our wedding. Communication was very pleasant and a lot is possible. There is entertainment for children (pinball machine, go-karts, table football, trampoline, etc.) which ensured that everyone had a good time. The food was excellent and the service good. Carefully decorated former farm where you quickly feel at home. Various places and rooms with fireplaces and tables or armchairs. The service consists of regular faces who appear relaxed, but certainly professional. Super nice and if they have time they are happy to explain to you how sweet and loved Max is (super sweet German Shepherd). His cage is outside, but (fortunately) can also be found inside (dog-friendly). We ate with a party of 8 on a Monday. Grilled USA steak very good for lunch in relation to price, quality and preparation. The rest of the table is happy too. Drunken prawns went well with steak. Bonus points for a wooden puzzle for the littlest among us, and a bucket of colored pencils. Includes pencil sharpener. They clearly think of everything. The only point for improvement: we came once before and there was some error with the payment (receipt received at wrong table) because a somewhat inexperienced employee paid. Don't blame them publicly. Everybody makes mistakes. It was crowded. It is indeed annoying, but the employees are clearly doing their best and they are doing it very well. Recommended in Hoorn/Blokker.

This was our first time at the Nadorst. It has quite an old-fashioned image, so I never really warmed to it. But how wrong I was. What a great place! We sat on the terrace with 3 adults and 2 children (ages 5 and 8 years). We were helped quickly and cheerfully while the children could play. They really had a great time with the trampoline, go-karts and the playground. Starter came quickly and was very tasty, good carpaccio! Navho salmon was a bit disappointing: great in taste, but with 2 tortilla chips you couldn't really call it nacho. We had to wait a very long time for the main course, so long that we asked the waitress if it had gone well. Fortunately, she was able to tell us that she had already asked for it herself, but that a large group just got the main course before us and therefore it took a little longer. Can happen. Next time it would be nicer if she reported it herself instead of asking, but maybe she forgot. Ordering and receiving drinks went smoothly. And once the main course arrived we quickly forgot about the wait. I haven't had such a good steak in a long time! And I won't easily forget the seasoned fries. We had such a good meal here. Voor de zaterdagavond gereserveerd in de Nadorst , was nodig want gezellig en druk. Gemiddelde kaart en niet superveel keuze maar ook mogelijk om buiten de kaart te bestellen. Vriendelijke en alerte medewerkers kortom een leuke avond gehad

Such a gem hidden in a nice area. Beautiful and friendly staff! Great, cozy yet spacious floor with a dance floor we put to use :) Never thought I could enjoy a work related event so much! And there was a huge trampoline outside, my inner child came out to play. Would love to come back

Very friendly staff. They tried to communicate with us in German, as unfortunately we don't speak a word of Dutch. Since we had the dog with us, water was immediately provided for him. Some of the girls at the service were very arrogant and clearly did not feel like it that evening. Had an all-inclusive dinner but often had to ask for or get drinks ourselves. If you know that some people like drinks, just exchange them. The party had come to an end, but before then the men were no longer given beer and the way it was said is absolutely not a catering hospitality, the lights immediately went on, the sunbed table and chairs were moved across the floor with an awful sound. I can name a few things that have nothing to do with hospitality that evening, but I'm not going to ruin everything, luckily the bill for the party won't go to me because I would be really sad about not having a "party" in it. the Nadorst for us 🫣

Voor mijn verjaardag daar gaan dineren samen met mijn man. We moesten lang wachten, zowel op eten, drinken en de bediening. Verder moesten we overal om vragen. Kwamen niet vragen of alles smaakte, onze bestelling werd opgenomen door iemand die met haar handen vol vuile afwas even bij onze tafel ging stilstaan. Echt ongemanierd! Het voorgerecht was prima, het hoofdgerecht viel tegen. Ondanks dat ik gereserveerd had hadden we geen leuk tafeltje maar zaten we op een ongezellig plekje . Jammer, geen goede ervaring. We zijn vaker geweest en we waren dan zeer tevreden. Nu echter behoorlijk teleurgesteld en geen gevoel gehad van welkom te zijn.

Gemoedelijk restaurant. Je krijgt de tijd om je eten te laten zakken tussen de gangen door. Vriendelijk personeel.

Eten was goed, alleen jammer en niet smakelijk dat de huishond een oude herder bij de uitgang van de keuken telkens werd gerubt op zijn rug met 2 handen door het personeel, daarna kwamen ze het eten uitserveren, zeer onsmakelijk. Personeel zat lekker te geiten met 5 man achter de bar en aan tafel geen glimlach te bekennen, waren we niet gewend bij De Nadorst.

Een disco avond voor 30 plussers

Vandaag de 60 jarige huwelijksfeest van mijn schoonouders gevierd. Het was heel jammer dat het binnen vreselijk warm was! Het bleek 30 graden te zijn! Er was geen airco, geen ventilatoren, en er konden geen ramen geopend worden. Alle gasten en het bruidspaar zaten vreselijk te zweten! Zichzelf koelte toe te wapperen met wat er maar vindbaar was.Toen we bij het personeel om ventilatoren gingen vragen, bleek er 1 aanwezig te zijn. En die stond bij de bar, in de ruimte ernaast. Even later werden er 2 ventilatoren in de onze ruimte neergezet. Wat enigszins verkoeling gaf, mits je erbij in de buurt ging staan. Ondanks dat de bediening vriendelijk was, en het eten lekker, was de hitte voor alle gasten en ook het bruidspaar een domper op de feestvreugde. Dit was niet nodig geweest, als de mensen van de Nadorst voor voldoende ventilatoren zouden hebben gezorgd.

Echt een aanrader , lekker ongedwongen sfeer, eten en service is perfect!

Heerlijk buiten gezeten op een warme dag. De dame in de bediening moest vanaf dit moment schakelen want er kwamen een paar tafels tegelijk aan. Drankje was netjes verzorgd. Doppio met het glaasje water. Frisdrank ook goed gekoeld. Ondertussen kwamen er meerdere bedieningsmedewerkers ondersteunen. Uitsmijters waren goed. Lekker brood. En qua prijs nog redelijk ook.

Went here for a family occasion, we had one of the back rooms inside. We were 20+ people so my impression of the atmosphere might be biased. Nevertheless the food was splendid and the service was very good and friendly. The restaurant also looked very nice from the inside, plus there are facilities outside for kids to play if you decide to sit outside.

Heel authentiek ingerichte (150 jaar oud!) boerderijrestaurant. Nadorst bestaat dus al 150 jaar! Ontspannen avondje gehad hier door fijne sfeer. Eenvoudige doch gevarieerde menukaart, goede kwaliteit eten en goede wijn. Vriendelijke bediening. Wij zijn tevreden over deze plek!
