We had a reservation for 4 p.m. to avoid the crowds. It was very quiet then. The food was good, and our dishes were delivered to the table quickly.

Well, the food is fine, but the nonchalance of one of the waiters and the grumpy attitude of another do not really contribute to a warm welcome feeling.

Friendly service, delicious food, definitely a place to return to. Highly recommended. And the ordering system is also excellent.

We regularly visit Ume, the food is excellent, but the low temperature in the restaurant is not conducive to the atmosphere, many guests kept their coats on.

Extensive menu and relaxed atmosphere

A more than pleasant surprise. This restaurant offers a good menu that has clearly been put together with great care and passion. Delicious snacks, and the drink selection is also more than sufficient. The staff is very hospitable and highly professional. Reasonable pricing. All of this makes a visit to this acclaimed venue an absolute must.

The food was delicious. We didn't have to wait long for it to be served. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was nice and clean.

Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere. The food was delicious, but the fried food wasn't great. We could clearly taste that the frying oil needed replacing. I also had mango sushi, and the mango was as hard as an apple. The cucumber was dried out, as were the nori leaves, which made it a bit chewy. The noodle soup was delicious, as were the desserts and other appetizers. But the food really needs to be checked for freshness. Furthermore, the food arrived very quickly, and we had a pleasant time. However, due to the quality of the food, we unfortunately won't be back.

Nice place, very poor service except for a couple of waiters. The welcome was very cold; we felt like intruders. The food was okay, nothing special. There was no music at the beginning, but then they added it. They could improve on it; the location has potential, but it's a shame about everything else.

My favorite restaurant for years. The food is always delicious, the place is very clean and sophisticated. I have never been disappointed.

Not like it used to be. The price-quality ratio has clearly deteriorated. The website also states that you can eat 5 rounds of 5 dishes. Unfortunately, that's now a maximum of 4 dishes at a time.

A cozy place where you can easily dine for two hours. All orders are placed via a tablet, so you don't have to wave to the staff every time. The only downside is that you can only order one scoop of ice cream per person, per visit.

Good sushi, no option of meals, it is just all you can eat which is super expensive. Some of the staff doesn't seem to understand some clear questions. But a good experience in general

We had a lovely time outside on the floating terrace with four friends. The service was good, although some dishes sometimes took a little longer, but we definitely recommend it!

For a somewhat larger city like Breda this is a great restaurant to eat. The staff is very friendly and even chats with you. You can sit outside by the water. The food is tasty and has a lot of flavor. Too bad that the sashimi is not included here so you have to pay a lot extra. The sushi is tasty. There are many different snacks so sushi is a kind of side dish. It looks more like an Asian tapas restaurant. Tasty noodles and tepan dishes. The only thing I find a pity is that you have little choice of desserts. You have to pay extra for certain desserts (mochi) or only order once (ice cream). This is the only disadvantage of ordering. For the rest it is very tasty and the dishes are tasty. The price is not that expensive compared to other sushi restaurants.

The food was fine. Exactly what you expect from an all you can eat sushi restaurant. The food ordering system is convenient and works well. The staff is fine. The space is large so I can imagine that it is very noisy when it is busy. In short, a great experience, as you would expect, but nothing special.

Most people see it as a Sushi restaurant, but I see it more as a snack, tapas restaurant, where Sushi is part... Great atmosphere (not high-end) and good snacks! Because the tenderloin, chicken and salmon, etc. are actually not as good and perhaps even better... and ordering is easy via the tablet. Parking nearby is no problem.

The sushi was very tasty. The hot dishes were decent. These need some extra attention. Friendly service and a great atmosphere.

Everything is fine! The food is TOP! One of the best Sushis I've ever eaten (and I've eaten quite a few Sushis in my life). We can order anything we like because there is a wide choice. Atmosphere is good, restaurant is nice to see, clean and the service is very friendly. You don't have to wait long for your order. This will be our regular Sushi restaurant. :-)

Delicious Sushi, easily ordered on the tablet. Customer interaction is a bit further away this way, but delivery is incredibly fast!

Preferred choice for sushi, kind staff always willing to bring the best support to your dining experience. Both lunch and evening menu are what you must expect from an high level sushi place. Do not forget cocktails and coffee drinks, also with tasty toppings.

We are satisfied with all dishes, we expected some of them might be ok. Out of our expectations, they all taste good. Definitely we will come here again.

It was already fully booked on the site, after 1 phone call there was still room for 2... upon arrival I was received very nicely and because they saw that my back was not doing so well, they started looking for a spot with a couch, great service food is fantastic, delivered hot and quickly, service is extremely friendly and respectful so definitely more than worth the money

The four of us came by on a weekday. In terms of crowds, it wasn't too bad. Service was fast and friendly, ordering was easy via a tablet. In my opinion you get value for your money here!

It's been quite some time since we ate here again. Today again and what delicious sushi, still the best so far. The care they provide for allergens is also really great! We are happy to drive 20km for this. Thanks team Ume.

Ume is my son's favourite restaurant in Breda. It is good value for money, the food is very good and fast. I always recommend it.

7.45 pm there and it took a while before they could guide you to the table. Pressure, that can happen. Drinks were taken, it took about 20 minutes before we got them. Staff couldn't smile. Except for 1 girl who was not Asian, who was really super friendly and helpful in terms of service. Got dead looks from the Asian people, maybe because I'm Asian myself? Noted that they could smile and be friendly to Dutch people. After the 2nd round we still hadn't had any sushi from the 1st round. Asked about it and was given an excuse that they just take longer. I asked about the sweet and sour cucumber. (Something they made in stock for a long time) Only came after the 2nd round! And yes, it's all you can eat, so plenty of rounds to go, but that's not right. I didn't even get all the sushi I ordered. I've never experienced that before! Why start a sushi restaurant if you can't even handle it? Staff had no manager to indicate who should do what. Tables were not cleared even though it was quiet. Food was not tasty. I really regretted choosing this restaurant. This is honestly the worst sushi restaurant I've ever been to! You can find better ones in Breda. I don't recommend any of my family members, friends or acquaintances to go here! Waste of your money!!!

Food was tasty as always and served promptly. Unfortunately disinterested and unfriendly staff.

I was disappointed. It's always our favorite restaurant, for me and my son. The disappointment is that the portions have been enormously reduced and that soya sauce is now mainly salty. The taste of the food has remained good except for the gyōza which are now even less filling. We had to wait a very long time to get our drinks, but I must say that the staff was very busy. It was quite busy. However, they remained smiling and friendly. So price/quality is no longer in proportion. Sorry favorite restaurant.

The food is fine, not super good but not bad either. I also think the choice has become less. In general the staff was friendly but not very professional. Things were said like 'if you'. Tables were not cleared. Furthermore, the food arrived quickly. Some sushis were quite dry and the other dishes such as lamb chop, chili shrimp and sashimi salad were not really tasty. Overall it was fine but not worth coming back.

Drama Bad food Drama, Food sent back twice. Lamb chops can't get through. A De Borst single fat wattle Tenderloin in pieces, tough and impossible to get through. Ordered everything a second time hoping it was an accident. Unfortunately everything is the same bad AGAIN. After collecting everything on our table, the manager was called. Response: probably left on the grill too long, but you will have to pay E 130. There have clearly been cuts in the quality of the food. We were surprised that on this, a normally busy evening, there were almost no customers. Never again for us.

We had a delicious meal with my family and were amazed by the fast and good service. All equally friendly. Even when you go home, every staff member greets you kindly. Highly recommended

Everything was good. Sat there with a small group. Value for money, and certainly more than enough!

Food was good. There were 7 people and we all had enough to eat. They had a clear allergen chart. They also had gluten free soy sauce and plenty of gluten free options that could be ordered. A very good place to eat gluten free.

All you can eat sushi, Japanese apps, salads, noodles, rice dishes, dessert. Drinks are not included. Service was great, loved the concept of small plates. You have a numbered round of orders depending on the quantity of your party. You order via a tablet on the table and order each round as soon as 10 minutes in between. We had a great experience, ended up ordering 30 things between the 2 of us. 3 rounds of 10 small plates. Would definitely return

Very nice to eat with the kids. Two hours of eating all you can eat. Order via the tablet and the food is gradually brought to the table. So don't eat everything together so you don't have to eat everything quickly. After 10 minutes the tablet will be released and you can order again. Quality of the food is also very good for this type of restaurant

Ume used to be a very good restaurant, it was a place I often went to to celebrate birthdays, christmas, anniversaries, etc. The food was top quality and the price was good. However, now the price went up, but the food quality went down big time. For example, different fried potatoes (the brand you can buy at albert heijn for 2 euros, nothing compared to their old potatoes), cheaper crabsticks, the crabstick salad uses iceberg sla instead of their older salad mix (which is like 1 euro per stuk) and the salad dressing for the crab salad is watered down (you can see the water in the salad), the salmon tastes odd too. It feels like they increased the prices for eating, but started buying cheap products which put the value down of their food. The past few motnsh I went 3 times in hopes they only had a temporary change, but it seems permenant as its stayed the same since July 2023. Really dissappointed. We went again last week and paid 52 euros for lunch to get low quality food, a waiter who threw sauce all over us and didnt help clean or get us new napkins, and we were sat down at a dirty table with dirty plates when the restaurant was empty? The quality of the food went down and im really upset because it used to be my number one restaurant. And again we paid over 50 euros, had 7 mini dishes and left (only 2 rounds of food) because it was awful. I hope it fixes the dishes again, I used to recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family but now Im looking for a new sushi all you can eat restaurant.

Very cozy place. We got seated quickly and the staff was friendly. The fish was fresh, but overall the dishes were not amazing. We were there two years ago as well and the food definitely left a much better impression back then. This time the edamame seemed more boiled than steamed and the fried banana was fried in the same oil as some of the savoury dishes, because it had a hint of a seafood flavour.
