Restaurant&Lounge Doh in Centrum

That evening we wanted to eat in Lisse. It was a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was about three-quarters full. We received a warm welcome, having made a reservation by phone beforehand, but unfortunately, we were 10 minutes late. No problem, though. We were offered a table for two, either near the entrance or by the restroom door, as nothing else was available on the lower floor at that time. After 15 minutes, we were allowed to change tables, and this one was very nice. The server was very polite and attentive. We started with a Cava. We ordered tuna tataki, which was delicious and beautifully presented. We were given a hot stone in a stone-shaped mold, so we could cook the tuna to our liking. Superb! For the main course, we had asparagus with salmon, which arrived perfectly cooked. It was a shame that two of the asparagus spears weren't peeled properly. For dessert, I ordered a Scorpion, a mixture of lemon ice cream/sorbet, vodka, and Prosecco. Very tasty. My companion opted for three different sorbets, which I was of course allowed to sample. All was well until the invoice arrived. They calculated incorrectly twice, and it became uncomfortable in the end due to their cold demeanor.

Known as DOH. On a central square in Lisse. Has outside dining. Decor is a bit eclectic but cool. Food was excellent and our waiter was wonderful. He kept the wine flowing!! We had a 3 hour dinner and didn't feel rushed at all. Check it out.

Great evening, the food was perfect and thé staff really gentle. Thé place to eat in Lisse if you like an excellent restaurant !

We hebben weer heerlijk en gezellig gegeten in restaurant den ouden Heerde. Het menu was fantastisch, vooral het voorafje/salade met de lamsham, asperges en de lamsoren was heerlijk. Daarnaast vinden we Hans een geweldige gastheer, hij begroet iedereen persoonlijk en doet t nog op de old fashioned way, heerlijk!

Het eten was goed. De bediening was vriendelijk maar slecht. Meneer had geen verstand van wijn, bier en het eten. Het duurde erg lang voordat iedereen zijn drankje had. We waren met z’n vieren. Na een tijdje eindelijk de kaart. Smeersels bij het brood erg karig. Voorgerecht duurde 1 uur en hoofdgerecht 2 uur na binnenkomst. Het bestek was vies. Bij de ene tafel werden wel rode wijn glazen gebruikt en bij ons de gewone glazen. Gezien de prijzen die berekend worden verwacht je iets anders. Bij het hoofdgerecht ontbrak de patat. Als we iets wilde drinken moesten we iemand roepen, kwamen niet uit zichzelf. De eindafrekening was niet goed. Helaas voor ons niet meer.

Vanaf de reservering tot het laatste drankje was het een feestje. Wat een warm welkom en fijne mensen in de bediening. Het eten was voortreffelijk, de locatie, het weer en de muziek maakte het plaatje compleet. Genieten met een 10, wij komen graag weer terug! Joke
