Nice place and great food. But €7.40 for a small fish-shaped bowl of kibbeling?

No stars...not one! The salted herring was so tough and old and gray. And the little fish was too poor to look at and tasteless!

The food was very good, and above all, you sit right by the canal, which is very nice in the summer.

We ate there three times during our holiday. The fish and chips were delicious and the fries were some of the best I've ever had. Very friendly service and reasonable prices. Nice view from the outdoor seating.

Unfortunately, you have to be careful here! With the platters, where you expect a lot for the high prices, you'll be sorely disappointed – and ripped off! The portion of kibbeling with sauce (€4.95) + a separate portion of fries (€2.50) are the same amount (about 8-9 pieces) that are also served on the "Kibbeling Platter" with a mini salad from a jar for €12.50. The mixed platter for €13.75 included 3 kibbeling, a whopping 3 mussels, 1 small piece of fried fish, 1 shrimp, and 1 squid ring. The thick fries are good quality, but far too salty. Including two 0.2l Cokes, we left €30 in the shop and walked on, hungry.

Die hier angebotenen Fischspezialitäten sind immer frisch und reichhaltig. Das Lokal verfügt über Aussenplätze und Sitz- und Stehplätze im Innenbereichen. Es gibt ebenfalls die Möglichkeit sich die Hände im Lokal zu waschen oder auf den Toiletten. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht ist direkt auf den Binnenhafen sowie auf die Schwenkbrücke. Es ist schön von hieraus die vorbei fahrenden Schiffe zu beobachten. In der Saison hat man hier einen Logenplatz für das „ Hafenkino“
