I had a nice dinner at Ristorante Italiano. In terms of location, it is very close to Dam Square, so the spot is really great and easily accessible. As for the food; the caprese I ordered as a starter was very delicious. For the soup, I chose the zuppa di pomodoro; it tasted good but was a bit heavy, so I couldn't finish it all. My other order, the al pesto, was also very good and flavorful. In general, the portions are quite large, so I couldn't even finish everything. The staff was also very attentive and polite. I would highly recommend it for both its central location and delicious menu.

Best pizza In amsterdam. It feels like you’re in Italy, but looking at the streets of Amsterdam, which is a double win come here the food pricing is really affordable too!

A charming little Italian restaurant nestled in the narrow streets of Dam Square. Our choices, the mushroom pizza and pesto pasta, were truly wonderful. The prices are quite reasonable. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The only downside is that the restroom on the top floor is a bit difficult to reach via the narrow stairs. If you happen to be in the area, be sure to visit this charming restaurant and enjoy these delicious dishes...

The food is delicious, it transports you to Italy, and the service is excellent.

My wife and I had dinner here this evening. I had the lasagna and she had the salmon, we also had caprese as an appetizer. The appetizer was good and we both enjoyed it. My lasagna was OK but my wife said her salmon was outstanding. The service was attentive throughout the meal. Be advised that part of the restaurant requires stairs and the restrooms here are at the top of steep and further stairs not advisable for those with mobility issues.

Amazing authentic Italian food at a very affordable price , we went to Harry’s and they couldn’t get us a table so we “settled” for next door. It felt like a family run authentic Italian restaurant with staff being extremely friendly accompanied by quick service. In the end we actually paid less than 45 euros for 2 beers 2 mains and 1 side (which was big enough to share). This is the only review I’ve ever written by the way!

Very very good Restaurant! So delicious pasta and pizza, like in Italia. The Restaurant has a nice ambience. The Owner hold us the door open when we entry, he’s so lovely and nice. Yesterday I ate at the Italian next to him and it was not that good, so if you want a perfect dinner you need to come here, don’t trust the hype restaurant next door!

We had pasta and tiramisu for 38 euros, both were delicious, the service was fast, the bathrooms were clean, I would definitely return

Definitely a place I would stay away from on my next Amsterdam tour. My friends and I came from Italy, but we wished we had never come to this place. We ate pizza and it was the worst we have ever had. The waiter stood near our table the whole time. When we wanted to pay, he said he couldn't take cards and that we needed to pay in cash. 'No cards under 15€'??? What kind of law or rule is this? During our tour, we never saw anything like that. Also, the waiter’s English was poor; he couldn’t understand our questions about the food.

A very pleasant atmosphere, large portions, delicious food, and affordable prices. It's surprising that such a worthy restaurant is so uncrowded. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. We ordered pasta carbonara and Bolognese, both perfectly prepared. We also ordered the house white wine, which was delicious. As an Italian, I was very impressed by the quality of the food and the existence of such a place in Amsterdam serving Italian cuisine.

A decent little restaurant. The salami pizza was passable; I ordered mushrooms and got three of them fighting amongst themselves. The penne Bolognese was also okay. Prices are reasonable for Amsterdam. Next day's update: My partner got sick from the Bolognese.

The Pizza Vegetariana (€13.50) was made vegan for us without cheese, and the vegetables on it were fresh and tasty. The Pasta al Funghi was also very good, and the small mixed salad was fresh as well. All in all, we were very satisfied and will gladly come back! 😊

We had two pasta dishes for dinner. They were a good size and very tasty, in our opinion. We ordered spaghetti frutti di mare and penne with chicken (both delicious). We also had 50cl of white wine, more than enough for two. We paid around €40. Perfect for the center of Amsterdam. Highly recommended. The person who served us was incredibly helpful. Everything was perfect.

The pizza leaves much to be desired: dry edges and poorly cooked artichokes spoil the impression. The soup turned out to be simple, more like Mivina. However, the meat on the pizza is of good quality, and Mivina evokes pleasant associations with home. It can also be noted that fresh carrot juice goes well with the dish.

After this we went to McDonalds. Then you know enough.

I found the food a bit disappointing. I had tortellini from the oven. A lot of cheese. But little sauce. This made the food dry. The rest had pizza. This one wasn't special either. Service friendly and attentive. Very fair prices.
