A wonderful dinner out. You can taste the high standards of quality ingredients. Friendly, welcoming, and expert service, attentive to the guests. Reservations are recommended, as it's often full.

As someone with a complex medical diet, I'm not the easiest eater, to be honest. I'm also known as perhaps the most difficult eater in the region. Dining out is rarely relaxing for me. Yet, this Italian restaurant pleasantly surprised me. What immediately struck me was the personal attention. The chef took the time to review the menu with me. He listened carefully to my medical history. He considered alternatives and carefully created a meal. This immediately gave me confidence. All in all, I enjoyed myself without experiencing any stomach discomfort. That's rare enough for me to emphasize. Aside from that, the food was delicious, the atmosphere warm, and the staff friendly. This restaurant not only understands flavor, but also service and has a good vibe. For anyone with a diet or food intolerance: you're in good hands here! Shout out to the chef.

Second time to this restaurant. First time was 5/5. Today was 3/5. 3 weeks in between these two visits. Highly recommend: Bruschetta Mix, CASERECCE AL POLLO PESTO, and Pizza Not Recommend: Lemonade (if you ask for Limonata, be warned it is NOT sparkling and NOT sour, just sweet) and pasta. Today we decided to give pasta a try, had 2x spagetti aglio e olio and 1x sapori di mare, it was either over cooked or unevenly cooked for some reason on all 3 pasta dishes. Sapori also had an unopened clam (???). Lemon Veal was also not exciting. Disappointing. Personal preference recommendation: Spagetti aglio e olio comes with tomatos and has less of a garlic punch in my opinion, not something for us but I can imagine someone who would prefer this. We also recommend checking the contents of the pizza box if you do want to take your left over pizza home with you, as it might come in folded (???) If you made a reservation and someone couldn't make it, we also recommend to communicate this fact to not only at the door when you arrive, but to ALL the staff in the house who happens to serve you to avoid being lectured about taking up more space than needed. I don't want to comment more as I could go on for another page based on tonight's visit.

I am Italian living in The Netherlands since 26 years. For pure accident I have landed in this restaurant as I was attracted by the Italian food exposed in the menu even when I know that there are only a few real Italian restaurants truly managed by Italian people preparing recipes respecting the original Italian recipes here in The Neterlands. It's common in The Netherlands to find so called Italian restaurants preparing the Carbonara with cream fraiche(???) and with ham(???) in place of guanciale instead (which is not spek or bacon at all!!!) or other Italian recipes where the original ingredients are not respected like Carpaccio made without olive oil but with rucola (???), or pesto (???) or truffle mayonese (???) which is not requested by the recipe at all. La forchetta cooks in the real Italian way, no discussions, no compromises just to please the Dutch palate, it's just Italian food as we make it in Italy, take it or leave it! For your information, I have eaten Casarecce (a kind of short pasta) with guanciale (what you should use to preparae the Carbonara...) and truffels. Some Parmesan cheese on the top...delicious!!! I cannot eat too muchand I have concluded with a typical Sicilian cannolo but I am sure that all the rest is made with the same care. Truly recommended if you like to eat real Italian food, not Italian food adjusted for the Dutch people!

Luckily we had made a reservation and sat at a round table by the window. Friendly staff and delicious food. Preliminary tasting of 4 different dishes. Very tasty and fresh. My main course was also included with the appetizer but still very tasty. The other dishes also looked beautiful and were all very tasty. For dessert, chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream.

With a group of 10, we ate a pre-selected menu and drank a nice glass of wine. The food was delicious, the wine too..., and we were the last to go home. Didn't even leave the tent! Highly recommended in my opinion!

Ate here with 2 friends on Friday. Upon arrival it seemed a bit quiet, but the restaurant quickly filled up. Extremely friendly service who knows what they are talking about. The bruschetta mix as a starter was delicious, all three of us had pasta as a main course, which was also delicious and the dessert was also great. We had a very nice and enjoyable evening, definitely worth repeating.

This afternoon we had a delicious meal at La Forchetta. As usual, Chef Gio had done his utmost to create perfect dishes. He has once again succeeded very well in this. You can just taste that everything is fresh and homemade. Tutti i complimenti a te!

We komen regelmatig bij La Forchetta. En we hebben iedere keer weer een fantastische eet ervaring. Giovanni verrast je met heerlijk uniek eten. Ik durf wel te zeggen dat dit het beste Italiaanse restaurant is, in de wijde omgeving. Tip: ga voor de vers gemaakte pasta’s. Vooral die met pistache en garnalen is over de top lekker.

Excellent service, very well served and decorated dishes, abundant portion and good flavor. The staff is very attentive to the diners. As for prices, I don't consider it expensive for everything they offer.

It is clear that you must book in advance here, otherwise you will not have a table on Saturday. Very friendly reception. Quite a few young girls in the service, but extremely friendly and respectful. Had an aperitif at the bar, ordered a starter and then went to table 13. Food is very tasty, especially the fish of the day was fantastic. Will definitely come back

Tonight we had dinner at La Forchetta with a group of 7 people. Warm and hospitable reception. The dishes were excellent and the wines were delicious too. Fast service, everything went perfectly. Special compliments to the lady who served our table. As a restaurateur you can be proud of such good staff. Thanks for the nice evening!

Make sure you are hungry when you eat here, because every plate has been carefully prepared and beautifully presented. There is love, attention and craftsmanship in every dish. We had the Antipasto Misto, a tasting for 2 people. Then Tagliatelle al nero di Seppia; a plate of fresh pasta richly filled with salmon and shrimps. Ravioli della Nonna; delicious fresh ravioli filled with beef. Panna Cotta Amrena; delicious, silky soft with a delicious cherry sauce. Cannolo Siciliano; a crispy shell filled with creamy ricotta and pistachio. We will definitely come back here to discover the rest of the menu.

Had a pleasant evening in this nice restaurant. Service was helpful and alert when the drinks ran out. But certainly not too fast, just neat as it should be. Food was tasty. Starters nicely proportioned and fresh. Pasta dish a bit simple, but the taste was good. Pistachio semifreddo was delicious! I will definitely come back for that again. All in all, highly recommended for a fun evening with good food!

Had a delicious meal yesterday in this charming restaurant. The service is great and the food is even better. It was the first and certainly not the last time we ate here. There is an extensive menu with delicious starters and main courses. If you want good Italian food, look no further, this is a great restaurant.

Ik ben gek op Italië en Italiaans eten. Ik ontdekte dit restaurant via vrienden, dus besloten we hier te komen eten. Eenmaal binnen voelden we meteen een hele warme sfeer, het personeel verwelkomde ons heel hartelijk en we voelden ons meteen welkom. Het restaurant is erg mooi en karakteristiek. Het menu is zeer gevarieerd en er is veel keuze, zelfs voor mensen met een glutenintolerantie. Nadat we ons eten hadden ontvangen, genoten we van elke hap, tja, wat kan ik zeggen, dit is werkelijk een fantastisch restaurant. Perfecte service, top eten, gastvrije sfeer! Deze mensen hebben verstand van zaken! voor ons is La Forchetta een referentiepunt geworden voor Italiaans eten en we zullen zeker nog vaak terugkomen

Met gezelschap pizza's gegeten. Mijn pizza was lekker, niks op aan te merken, ons gezelschap had echter ook tweemaal een quattro formaggio (met extra ruccola en knoflookolie) die nogal flauw smaakte. Ik hou zelf niet van erg van de 4 kazen, maar ben er bekend genoeg mee om te bevestigen dat de smaak vrij flauw was. Sfeer en service niks mis mee, ook niet super speciaal, gewoon prima.

In overleg hadden we 15 pizza's besteld om 18:00 uur, deze stonden klaar. Om 18:30 uur hebben we nog eens 8 pizza's doorgebeld, deze konden we om 19:00 uur afhalen. Wat hebben we gesmuld, zo lekker en wat een top services.

Vriendelijk personeel, gemoedelijke sfeer. Wij komen hier met regelmaat en het eten is iedere keer heerlijk! Zeker een aanrader :)

Heerlijke lang zitten lunchen met 11 personen van onze familie. De gastheer Giovanni was super vriendelijk en de bediening uitstekend. Heerlijke gerechten, goede wijn en lekker bier van de tap. Wat ons betreft zéér geslaagd.

Heerlijk wezen lunchen en fantastische service en heb hierdoor mijn nieuwe favoriete Italiaanse restaurant in de Zaanstreek gevonden.

Vanwege diverse allergieën kwam de eigenaar bij ons aan tafel en heeft ons geduldig voorzien van informatie over alternatieve bereidingen van de gerechten, waardoor het voor iedereen een hele fijne ervaring werd. Wij komen zeker terug.

Ik heb hier met mijn dochter gegeten en hebben het 4-gangen verassingsmenu genomen. Het was super vers en echt heel lekker. De eigenaar geeft je een sfeer alsof je thuis komt, echt een warme sfeer. Dankjewel, we hebben genoten en komen zeker terug!

Dan kom je ergens binnen waar je eigenlijk al veel eerder naar toe wilde gaan. En dan ben je binnen een denk je "waarom zo lang gewacht om te gaan". Het restaurant ademt sfeer, klasse en rust uit. Het personeel begroet je vriendelijk waardoor je jezelf meteen op je gemak voelt. Zit je aan tafel komt de eigenaar, die door heeft dat je hier voor het eerst bent, even kennis maken en het e.a uitleggen. Dan het eten, tsja wat moet ik hierover zeggen. Het is vers, het is goed en het is gewoon top. Dit restaurant is voor ons een echte aanrader en zullen hier echt vaker naar toe gaan.

Zaterdag heerlijk gelunched bij La Forchetta. De lunchproeverij is een enorme aanrader, en Giovanni is een fantastische gastheer.

Wat een aangename en heerlijke ontdekking. Vanmiddag hier geluncht en zijn totaal verwend. Hele hartelijke en behulpzame gastheer waardoor we ons erg welkom voelden. We kozen uit een lunchplank met veel verschillende gerechten. Alles even vers en ambachtelijk bereid. Met dieetwensen wordt enorm goed rekening gehouden en meegedacht. Ik kom hier ZEKER snel terug om te lunchen of te dineren en kan La Forchetta een ieder aanraden!

Elke keer een feestje! Heerlijke gerechten die met zorg zijn bereid. Zó anders dan een doorsnee Italiaans restaurant! En altijd vriendelijke bediening. We komen snel nog eens.

Gezellig restaurant, leuke sfeer, prettige en vriendelijke bediening. Ruimtelijk ingericht dus geen ruzie met de mensen achter je. Mooie aanvulling bij het steeds meer cullinaire wordende Krommenie.

Na heel lang zoeken eindelijk een authentiek Italiaans restaurant gevonden. Veel geprobeerd in de buurt, maar wat ons de beste Italiaanse restaurant in Zaanstad. Het eten was voortreffelijk en de bediening was prima. Ook voor de kinderen was er voldoende keuze en is onze jarige flink in de watten gelegd.

Super lekker gegeten, we hadden de 3 gangen verrassingsmenu! Echt fantastico, leuke bediening en een mooi aangekleed restaurant! Was niet helemaal vol, maar zij verdienen het wel om meer mensen te trekken! Wij komen zeker terug.

Personeel heeft kennis van zaken. En dat is heel fijn. Daarnaast zijn ze alert en attent. Eten was - zoals verwacht- van hoge kwaliteit en zet smaakvol. Qua sfeer... op een hete warme zomerse dag (30°), zou een verfrissende video van een kletterende fontein meer op z'n plaats zijn dan een video van een knetterende open haard.😉

Mijn vrienden en ik hebben fantastisch gegeten bij La Forchetta. Gio is echt een virtuoos in de keuken, zelfs als je zoals ik intolerant bent voor Kaas…….geen probleem, er wordt gewoon iets passends bereid dat minstens zo goed en lekker is. De gastvrijheid na het eten was ongekend. Ik had het gevoel dat ik te gast was in Gio zijn huiskamer. La Forchetta is dus een echte aanrader!

Super avond gehad heerlijk gegeten je proeft dat er met verse ingrediënten gewerkt wordt. Zeer vriendelijke bediening met verstand van zaken. Kortom zeer de moeite waard.
