Delicious food at reasonable prices! Unfortunately, during our visit, the service didn't live up to the quality of the food. It would have been helpful if the server had pointed out that risotto takes significantly longer to prepare than the pasta and pizzas ordered by five of our six guests. It would also have been helpful to mention that if the sixth person at the table (accidentally) ordered a meal for two last, it must have been a mistake. Oh well – our own fault! 🙈 Cutlery that was cleared with the appetizer plates should have been replaced – without being specifically asked – at the latest when the main courses arrived. The service was unfortunately lacking. What a shame!

Good food and affordable. The Pasta del Bosco is delicious. Highly recommended!

Ordered for a 60th birthday celebration. The order was placed on time, but a pizza was missing. You pay around €24 for a piece of meat, and apparently you have to order side dishes separately on top of that... unfortunately, the meat dishes were also well below par and tasteless. The pizzas were not fully cooked, and there was still a piece of shell on the pizza with egg. On the same pizza was roast beef that was completely grey... A real downer on the evening; we will not be ordering again.

Good pizzas and friendly service, but the Scaloppa gorgonzola is truly the most terrible thing ever. Tough pork tenderloin and little sauce + paying extra for side dishes.

Usually still room, good quality food, friendly staff, reasonable price for the food.. and uh.. delicious desserts.

We ate on the terrace with a friend, eventually joining a family that was already sitting there. Naturally, we asked Sam first, and she immediately added an extra table. We were served very kindly and correctly and had a lovely summer evening.

Ordered 4 pizzas, 2 of which had extra ingredients that I paid for but didn't receive, too bad...

We ate here with a group. Just like last year. We had to wait 90 minutes for the starter. When we inquired, we were told that orders took priority. Another hour for the main course, and finally dessert arrived. We sat there for 3.5 hours for 3 courses. And the food really is fantastic, mind you. But next time I'll order again.

Because all other restaurants in Haren (Gn) are closed on Mondays, I ended up here. What stands out is that the pizzas have the real Italian crust and taste; no other pizzeria in the area can compete with that. The service is always friendly; I come here regularly and enjoy doing so. For takeout too, of course.

We were there on Tuesday and the place was already packed by 6 pm. I had a calzone pizza and my wife had a Hawaiian pizza. What can I say, the pizza maker knows what he's doing. The service was great too.

Good Italian restaurant in the center of Haren. I had an excellent carpaccio and a pizza "Pollo E Mozzarella Di Bufala" here. I came here on a Tuesday evening, and it was completely full. However, I find the restaurant far too small and cramped. There's virtually no distance between tables (and it's not a very large restaurant). You practically sit at your neighbor's table. I had a table next to the door, which made it even worse. It wasn't a very comfortable place to sit.

I ordered five pizzas, two of which were burnt. Mistakes happen, but what really hurt: I wasn't even believed on the phone. All I got was an extremely arrogant employee arguing with me. It was as if I'd been given two burnt pizzas for fun. If this is their idea of ​​"service," then it's just as burnt as my order.

Ordered 5 pizzas for delivery, 2 of which were black. When I called, I was given a very unfriendly response that this wasn't possible. They did, however, have two new ones delivered. Later, I called the employee again and was again treated unfriendlyly. Where work is done, mistakes happen. But this service was the worst!

Service and atmosphere = top-notch. Such nice people. And we got our food quite quickly, which was delicious.

We wanted a quick bite to eat, arrived at 5:00 PM, ordered immediately, and didn't receive our food until half an hour later. While that's not a big deal, the quality of the meat was truly subpar. I had pork tenderloin with bacon, mozzarella, and a tomato-cream sauce. The flavor was fine, but the tenderloin pieces (2) were as thin as a schnitzel and cooked far too long, making them incredibly dry. My partner had grilled tenderloin, which was well-grilled but incredibly tough. Tenderloin is supposed to be very tender, but even with a steak knife, it was incredibly tough to cut through. Another minor annoyance was the mandatory drink requirement. If a guest doesn't want a drink, it still appears on the bill, which we found quite odd. Furthermore, no one from the service staff, neither during the meal nor at the checkout, asked if everything was to our liking. In short: once, but never again. I don't understand how this place gets such good reviews and it's so busy. Maybe we were just unlucky, but none of the staff seem to care. There was no reaction when I shared our findings about the meat.

When we arrived, we were given the menu and our drinks order was taken. After 15 minutes, I mentioned I was thirsty. It turned out the drink order had been completely forgotten, and I had to reorder. Another 15 minutes later, the drinks finally arrived. After that, everything went smoothly. I had a delicious tenderloin, and my partner had a tasty swordfish. To finish, I had an Espresso Martini. I'd never had one before, but I definitely recommend it. The owner was probably not there, as he usually keeps a close eye on the service.

We had a wonderful meal yesterday at Ristorante Mediterraneo in Haren: delicious pizza with generous toppings, friendly staff, and a cozy setting. We'll definitely be back.

We ordered a lot of pizzas for a birthday. Unfortunately, they were delivered later than requested and were also cold. We called, and they said they would come up with a solution for the next time. When the next time came, they didn't know about compensation, and we apparently told them too late that the pizzas were cold. Very disappointing. Sadly, it was the last time for us.

Delicious pizzas, but a long wait even though it wasn't even busy. Cutting pizzas would be helpful, or better knives would be helpful; we could barely cut the pizzas. It took a lot of effort. And we could take the leftover pizza home. It turns out they charged us €1 afterward, even though not all the leftovers were in it. I've never experienced this before. Once and never again.

Great food. Service very friendly. But we have never had to wait so long. After almost an hour we asked if it was going to be okay. It was just in the oven. So take your time if you eat here. But we did eat well, that's for sure.

Waiting an hour and twenty minutes for a mediocre pasta with vegetable and cheese dish

Order was not processed properly. Once it arrived, it was given priority and it was ready within 5 minutes. We were offered a drink as a courtesy for the inconvenience. Finally got the tagliatelle asparagi. This made everything right! What flavors! Beautiful doneness and layering of flavors. The combination of tenderloin tips, green asparagus and oyster mushroom is truly amazing! Highly recommended!

Had a delicious Salmone E Gamberi Piccanti.

The food is excellent. The fish soup and salads are delicious. Pastas too. It takes quite a while before you get your main course after the starter. Taking the order or delivering the drink could also be faster.

Excellent Italian cuisine. Reservations in advance are recommended. Sometimes very busy, which caused us to wait too long. Tight space when busy

Adding a comment to my previous review below. I've just been charged a euro for a 'doggie bag'. What's a euro? Principle!!! Spent +€50pp so charging to take a few slices of pizza home is cheap. Very disappointed. Still enjoyed the evening, loved the pizza, great service.... just never been charged to take leftovers home in any restaurant anywhere in the world before. Real shame. Surprisingly great evening in this Italian managed high street restaurant. The service totally wins the day. The waitress who served our table was absolutely friendly & great. Pizza bases were a little bland, disappointing if the chef's Italian. And the anti-pasta lacked variety. Some cheese varieties, perhaps a little tomato & roasted veggies would've taken it to a 5-star experience. Definitely will make this a regular spot to visit.

This is a real gem in Haren. Beautiful Italian food cooked with love by the owner Omar. We come here time after time and always have a great time. Personal favourite is the meat with mushrooms in truffle sauce. If you have a sweet tooth the homemade tiramisu is to die for. Looking forward to our next visit.

Ordered pizzas yesterday before 5:15 pm and did not have to wait upon arrival. Margherita, Salame and Vegetariana. The taste was delicious with plenty of fresh ingredients and a perfect thin base. We will come back here more often. A negative element is that if you replace one ingredient with another, you will have to pay Euro 1.00 extra.

Ondanks dat we met 2 personen meer waren dan gereserveerd, en de zaak helemaal vol zat, werd er toch extra ruimte gecreëerd. Complimenten voor de gastvrijheid en het lekkere eten!

Had a good meal at Mediterraneo. The pizza was tasty and the dessert was delicious. Just a pity that I had indicated that I wanted my pizza without mushrooms and with onion. The mushrooms were indeed gone. But the onion wasn't there. This was reported but nothing was done about it. Later when I looked at the receipt when I got home, I had even paid extra for the onion (which was not included). Too bad, because the rest was good.

Good Italian restaurant with friendly service. Atmosphere could be improved by improving the acoustics of the restaurant. It was quite noisy. But the food was really good!!!

Really nice restaurant with a nice menu. Pleasant and attentive service. Tip to the restaurant and hence the 3 star review in terms of atmosphere. The room will benefit greatly from more acoustic dampening.

Good tasty pizzeria. Also good value for money and nice portions. Order supplements of your own choice and pay separately, also with the meat/fish menus. Also open on Tuesdays! Nice and friendly service and the pizzas, pasta, meals, salads, vegetables and desserts are very tasty. In Groningen style: I really know less good pizzerias in Groningen. And I go for taste. Why 1 star less: the knives are not sharp. And that's a shame.

The Italian waiter was very attentive and very helpful and gallant, good service is in those small gestures.

Unfortunately had a bad experience. Pizza where the crust was way too hard. Reported several times, nothing further was done. You have to pay the full pound at checkout. I also dared to ask whether I had indicated that the pizza was not to my liking. I think indicating 3 times that you are not satisfied is enough. In addition, you had to wait a very long time for your food.. too few staff. The dessert was very tasty.

This time, February 18, the pizza was very good and very tasty. Not too much moisture in the soil, which is very nice. The atmosphere gets 1 star because we had arranged delivery. Very successful!

Geen aanrader. We hadden een tafel besteld om 17:15 uur. We waren er om 17:20. Het eerste dat gezegd werd is dat we te laat waren. Als we niet met onze kinderen waren dan waren we weer weggegaan, maar we wilden ze niet teleur stellen, eten was op zich oké, maar bediening onvriendelijk.

This is my 7th time eating at this lekker place! The best pizza in Groningen! A slight problem this time with food coming in late but that was of due to a lack of staff; so hats off to the owner who did an amazing job with handling a full and busy restaurant floor on his own. We will always come back for more!! Xxx

Wij wilden met ons tweeën gezellig uit eten en hadden een tafeltje buiten uitgekozen, alleen was dit achteraf een slechte keus. Toen we gingen zitten hebben we een drankje besteld en kregen we de kaart. Daarna is er voor een half uur niemand bij ons geweest. Vervolgens moesten wij zelf iemand aanspreken, die ons compleet negeerde als ze buiten kwam om een andere tafel te helpen, om zelf te vragen of we nou eindelijk eten mochten bestellen. a een uur wachten werden wij erg hongerig en geirriteerd, en kwam uiteindelijk ons voorgerecht eraan. toen dit werd neergezet was het niet het gerecht wat wij hadden besteld. wij gaven dit aan de ober door, die met een erg chagrijnige reactie kwam en geen excuses aanbood of ook maar iets vriendelijks zei. na nog weer een kwartier wachten kwam dan eindelijk ons voorgerecht (!!) eraan. toen we ons bestek nog niet hadden neergelegd van het voorgerecht, werd dit direct weggehaald omdat het hoofdgerecht er al aan kwam. in deze 2 uur tijd zijn ze niet 1x langs gekomen om te vragen of wij nog iets wilden drinken. we hebben niks ter compensatie gekregen, geen excuses, boos en chagrijnig personeel, onvriendelijk en totaal niet gastvrij.

Konden om 17.45 de pizza's halen. 45 minuten moeten wachten. Kan eens gebeuren natuurlijk. Maar dat er niet eens sorry gezegd is of een drankje aangeboden. Ik heb cynisch mijn excuus aangeboden voor het lange wachten en bedankt voor het niet aangeboden drankje. Ging er nog geen lampje branden. Onbegrijpelijk dit en zeker niet wat ik bij jullie gewend ben. O ja, pizza's waren ook niet helemaal zoals besteld, maar dat terzijde.

De telefoonlijn om een tafel te reserveren haperde, maar het is toch goed gekomen. Het bier is erg lekker van Peroni. De kaart van de pizza's kan beter, door er rijen van te maken welke vlees/vis/vega of gemengd zijn. De pizza's waren snel aan tafel en smaakte ook erg lekker. Bediening kwam 3x langs om te vragen of alles naar wens is. Het toetje smaakte ook erg lekker!

Lekkere pasta, fijn dat het een kleine pizzeria is en goede bediening. We komen er altijd erg graag!

Erg goede pizza. Restaurant boven was vol, gelukkig konden we beneden (soort kelder) zitten. Stuk rustiger en minder warm.

Friendly Staff and fantastic food.

Heerlijk gegeten gisteren, goede service. Pizza Ciao Ciao was lekker. Enorm genoten, komen zeker terug.

Na een bezoek aan familie besloten om pizza’s te halen. Pizza’s werden bij aankomst nog gereed gemaakt. De pizza’s waren daardoor lekker warm en goed op temperatuur bij thuiskomst. Restaurant heeft een niet standaard kaart. Echt Italiaanse pizza’s met verrassend lekkere combinaties en toppings. Zeker aan te bevelen en voor herhaling vatbaar.

Snel bezorgd, goed warm en heerlijke pasta, pizza en lasagna

Heerlijke lasagne en filetto. Passende wijn. Dessert ook prima. Vriendelijke bediening. Komen zeker hier terug.

Eten was heerlijk, bediening was ook erg goed, enige nadeel is dat mijn man , die in een rolstoel zit, niet naar het toilet kon...hij kan gelukkig dankzij therapie weer kleine stukjes lopen, maar hij kan toch echt niet een trap naar beneden zoals hier wel het geval is, en dat is erg jammer dat hier geen rekening mee gehouden word

Regelmatig gaan we hier eten, ook al wonen we niet in de buurt. Erg lekker eten. Veel variatie.

Slechte bediening, arrogante houding, geen gehoor aan foutieve bestelling. 4 kansen in 1 uur om je als gast welkom en gehoord te voelen volledig negeren. Nooit weer.
