RIVA Wijnlounge in Wijk 05 Havengebied

The three of us first dined in the restaurant and then went on to the dance party in the in-house club, Riva Wijnlounge. The surroundings are exceptionally beautiful. The restaurant is very well-maintained yet cozy. And considering my hernia: good furniture! We had the tenderloin steak and the salmon fillet. The tenderloin steak, in particular, was excellent, and the accompanying garnish, including asparagus, was very tasty and a great combination. The service was friendly and efficient. For the first time at the club there, we were welcomed with a free, large, and especially delicious cocktail. What a beautiful venue! A beautiful, cozy venue. Very cozy seating areas consisting of sofas with various chairs and stools. And again: a real treat for those with back problems. Completely independent of Fletcher and the venue: the music that evening (called XL drinks) was consistently great, and everyone was constantly on the dance floor. The service was excellent: from the people at the door to the welcome with drinks. Quickly arranging a plaster for a sore heel, paracetamol, exchanging drink tokens, etc.: a big thumbs up. A pleasant and unexpected surprise (we were actually unfamiliar with Huizen), definitely worth repeating.

Went for lunch today. The quality of the food is truly awful. The croquette and bread from the "12 o'clock" menu were of extremely poor (cheap) quality. The soup was warm, but from a can. The satay was worse. Absolutely do not eat here. Reheated satay sticks made from a plastic bag and pressed together in a factory. Unfortunately, they weren't warm inside. The satay is listed for €19.50 on the menu, but the receipt is €20.50. I could go on and on. A wise man once told me that you should stay in a hotel and not eat there. He was right. What surprises me most is that the management apparently has no shame in serving these poor-quality products to the guests, and that the kitchen staff wants to cook junk (reheat it in a convection oven). Shame on you.

Great place for a work meeting, conference, or gathering. Quiet and friendly service.

A great spot for drinks. My friend and I came here for an Aperol Spritz, which was generously poured. We sat comfortably in the sun and also ordered nachos. The service was fast and attentive. Absolutely fantastic.

Great location, but I ordered something from 'dinner to share', pork tenderloin skewer for 16 euros, and got 1 rather small skewer with three pieces of meat. Okay, you can indeed share that with your table companion... But I thought it was absurdly expensive and had different expectations for dinner to share. When I asked if this was correct, the staff asked and indicated that this was correct. It was a tasty skewer though 😅

I only came to have a drink, and sat on the spacious terrace. I drank a delicious half liter of Weihenstephaner white beer. The service was quick and the atmosphere was good.

You're in a good place, but the service is terrible. English speaking wait staff who apparently don't like their job. Ordering is virtually impossible. Ultimately ordered Chardonnay, but got Sauvignon. Received a different limo than ordered for the children. And at the end a serious bill. It's a shame, because you can really make something fun out of it

Vrijdag 4 april te 13:00 uur; Zaten er al een tijdje, 1 persoon in de bediening. Worden niet gezien. Door het personeelslid worden we aangesproken dat we van de plek af moeten. Was gereserveerd voor een volleybal groep. (Geen kaartje op tafel) we geven aan dat er geen reserveringkaartje stond. Gooit het personeelslid van een andere tafel het reserveringskaartje erop met de opmerking dan moet je ergens anders gaan zitten. Geen bestelling opnemen nee alleen verwijderd van een tafel en verwezen naar een tafel waar de vorige bestelling nog op stond. We zijn weg gegaan. Voorlopig komen wij hier niet meer. Jammer want we werden altijd hier vriendelijk geholpen door een andere oudere man met grijs haar. Helaas ging hij net naar huis.

We occasionally go there for a drink and some bitterballen. Cozy seating areas, and when the weather's nice, we can sit outside on the terrace. There's always plenty of free parking. It's a nice place.

Dramatic service! There were 8 of us for a drink. Several tables occupied and only 1 waiter. After half an hour we were able to order a drink and we had to wait another fifteen minutes for it. We got the special beers in all different glasses. The second round came a little faster, but then the specialty beers came in pilsner glasses. Too bad because it is a nice location. We have been again, service remains a drama.😭

Unfortunately, lukewarm beer again. Both on tap and in the bottle. I don't understand it, so many refrigerators and it's still difficult to get beer cold. Been coming here for 12 years, since the beginning, there is always something that is not okay. Says something about management. Also the Fletcher hotel that comes with it, always something that is not in order. Due to family visits, no alternative nearby....

Here in the cozy harbor of Huizen we had a quick beer and a small snack. They have a lovely terrace in the evening sun. There is only a slight sewage smell on the terrace. That is disturbing. The risotto had a nice runny egg but was still too soft. Let's say mushy, you definitely couldn't taste the grain of rice anymore and that's a shame. Taste was pleasant. Here you can order with QR code and that is always pleasant and fast...

Worst service ever. We ordered a bottle of red wine and 1 glass of pinot grigio, water, a snack board and bitterballen. It took a long time before we got the drinks, with the message that there was only one person who could open a bottle of wine with a corkscrew (?). The glass was dirty with lipstick and our water was forgotten. The Pinot was lukewarm and after saying something about it, they "put the bottle in the freezer for a while" and it was served - again lukewarm. Not much to complain about as a snack, but you can't call these nachos. Staff not very friendly and nonchalant. We asked if we could order something and were told "I'll be with you shortly". We were forgotten and when we said that, it was said that we had told another colleague that we wanted to order. It seemed like a joke.

Met twee stellen een hapje eten.Tafel kleefde nog na van vorige bezoekers..Niet schoongemaakt dus.Bediening was vergeten onze bestelling door te geven aan de keuken.Slibtong besteld , smakeloos en zeker niet in de roomboter gebakken.Sate was keihard en niet te eten!Kortom waardeloos gegeten (helaas)

The atmosphere is good and it is clean. Unfortunately the bitterballen were rather lukewarm. The staff is very friendly and does their best, but it goes very slowly. I ordered something and in the end they forgot. They also asked twice what kind of ice tea and I said green and for 2 times they gave me a shot. I understand that there is of course a shortage of staff. The rest of the food is fine (although pricey), and the 'royal watermelon' (plain water with lemonade syrup) is highly recommended.

We wanted to have a drink here but were not noticed at all (we saw 5 staff). After 10 minutes at the bar we asked if we could order something, yes we could 'someone is coming'. Waited another 10 minutes but no one came, so we went home for a drink.

We recently stopped by this charming restaurant for a light lunch and were thoroughly impressed. The place itself is a visual treat – modern yet designed with a traditional touch, perfectly complementing the harbor location. The outdoor terrace, perfect for a beautiful day like ours, was inviting and had ample seating. Finding parking was a breeze – there's a convenient lot just meters away, located behind the kids' playground. Upon arrival, the service was both friendly and prompt. We opted for a selection of small dishes, and each one was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. There was a minor oversight – the soup we ordered was supposed to come with bread according to the menu, which was missing. However, considering we ended up ordering more than enough food, it wasn't a major issue. The tea was fresh, the food delicious, the service attentive, and the ambiance delightful. It was no surprise to see the terrace fill up within 30 minutes, solidifying its popularity on a sunny day. Overall, a 5-star experience – highly recommended!

I had reserved a high tea for Mother's Day. Neatly covered on the terrace in the sun. We had to wait a long time for the additional drinks and eventually also the snacks. And we got a tower with food. They forgot that I had reported that we only ate fish and vegetarian. So part was exchanged, but part was not replaced. And what was there in the end was severely dried out, hard and unedible. Only ate 1 or 2 bites of everything. And when I indicated this, we received compensation of a drink. I indicated that I wanted to speak to the manager, but he was too miserable to walk by so I went inside. I indicated that I did not intend to pay this, because we did not eat anything and that I did not feel taken seriously when I brought it up. People behind us had left almost everything behind the high tea. And the table next to us also complained about the food. He agreed, asking to come back again. Very honest, I won't come again and don't recommend eating here.

Burger, above all praise. It's worth coming here just for burgers. Oysters are great, but in my opinion it's too expensive. The rest of the dishes are rated average.

Dramatically bad. When we entered, the tables (our reserved table) and the tables around us were still dirty. Table was so dirty my bag got stuck. The employee in question spoke little to no Dutch and therefore did not understand me whether he wanted to clean my table. Asked whether the Fletcher bubbles in question were cava or prosecco (this was not understood and they checked whether a bottle of cava was cold). 12 hours was not tomato soup but mushroom soup. And everything was cold to lukewarm. We had brought our friends for their upcoming wedding so wanted to keep the atmosphere fun. Also for the man who tried so hard (in the beginning on his own!!!). I didn't want to be embarrassed. Just called and it is being discussed. But you don't have to wait for compensation or something like that. Because it's been a long time (just 3 days). Since I didn't call at Easter. Compared to 5 years ago, I expected the same in terms of service, etc. from Riva wine lounge and it is very disappointing. With all due respect, you might as well go to a Hema lunchroom. I'm not coming back.

Dramatic service. We had a drink here with a nice group on Friday evening. Service did not come naturally, took a long time and was actually too much effort. Not 1 specific person, but the bad atmosphere was in that entire team. Do something about it, because it is otherwise a nice and beautifully decorated place!!

Nog een drankje na het diner in de marina lounge. Gezellige bar waar de tv aanstaat met Ziggo Sport. Diverse zitjes met hoge tafels, normale tafels en een podium met chesterfield banken, (doorgezakte) fauteuils en poefen. De serveerster was alleen, maar hield alles prima in de gaten.

You spontaneously start to put down roots. It takes an incredibly long time before you are served. In addition, the food is inedible. Quite a pleasant atmosphere.

Een mooie plek om met een bootje aan te leggen voor lunch. Het was mooi weer, maar het was niet overdreven druk. Toch hebben we een uur op onze broodjes moeten wachten, terwijl iedereen om ons heen al bediend was. Na navraag kregen we geen uitleg of excuses. Bij de fles wijn vroegen we een karafje kraanwater. Die kregen we, maar bleek voor ruim 4 euro op de rekening te staan. Mooie plek, maar we komen niet meer terug.

Slechte bediening, lekker eten. Een jaar geleden voor het laatst geweest. Helaas niets veranderd. De bediening doet er alles aan om je niet op je gemak te laten voelen. Ze komen bijna niet langs, ook jammer voor hun omzet. Men als je wat vraagt kijken ze geïrriteerd. Het eten was goed en de aankleding is heel gezellig. Misschien toch eens meneer Reimers langs laten komen voor een training.

Zo leek het tenminste, als we naar de houding van het personeel keken. Jammer, want de soep was echt heerlijk, maar het gedrag van de diverse personeelsleden was schokkend slecht. Al met al een verwarrende ervaring. Prachtige lokatie aan het water, mooie zaak, maar zeeeeer slecht personeel. Niet gemotiveerd, ze leken er allemaal geen zin in te hebben. Ik denk dat Fletcher de zaak beter over kan doen aan een ander, die er wel zin in heeft.

Dit is nou zo'n plek waar je relaxed kunt zitten, zonder hard geluid of overdadig 'stemgeluid'. Onderdeel van Fletcher Hotel, dus goede koffie en vriendelijke bediening. Ideale plek voor bv een eerste date...

RIVA wijnlounge is een heerlijke plek om een wijntje te drinken. Wij zaten in het Fletcher Hotel waarbij je zo de wijnlounge kon inlopen. Een drankje meenemen naar je kamer was ook geen probleem en waren kundig geïnformeerd door het personeel betreft de verschillende wijnen. Voordat we een keuze mochten maken konden we ook wijnen proeven. Al met al een prima ervaring

Altijd rustig daar om wat te drinken

Serieus prachtige plek om wijntje oid te doen maar muziekje op achtergrond had fijn geweest, open haard stond niet aan. Zag er een beetje droefig uit....

Gezellige sfeervolle gelegenheid met een kaart die niet alleen uit wijn bestaat. Heerlijke luierbanken. Wel opletten op de afstapjes in het donker!

Veel te warm, bediening niet echt heel vlot.

Toppie lekker rosetje en bitterballen ook goed.

Hier kun je prima aanmeren, borrel doen met lekkere snacks en uitstekend eten. De bediening is wat onervaren, maar als daar rekening mee houdt is het een prima lounge en restaurant.

Prima locatie: gezellige sfeer en voldoende drankjes in het assortiment

Het was ijskoud binnen. Bediening kon/mocht daar niks aan doen...

Wijn en spijs prima. Bediening mag stuk vlotter.

Bediening was wel aanwezig maar staat te vaak.met de rug naar de klant en is niet adequaat in de bediening. Sfeer was wel goed alleen ietsjes te fris vanwege se airco

Goede lunch gehad, service top.

Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Lekkere wijn en heerlijke bitterballen. Interieur hier en daar wel aan vernieuwing toe. We misten ook wat muziek.

We waren 50 jaar getrouwd en hebben heerlijk van de high tea genoten. Hele aardige bediening. Was wel een fooi waard.

We hebben een high tea besteld. Een heerlijk gevulde etagere was meer dan genoeg om als lunch te voldoen. Leuke locatie en vriendelijk personeel.

Heb hier een heerlijke high tea gehad met mijn vriendinnetje en was erg lekker, vriendelijke bediening en top locatie. Was heerlijk weer dus we hebben nog even gewandeld en zitten te denken om hier een keer bij Fletcher te overnachten.

Stoelen smerig, tafels vies en lang moeten wachten voordat de bestelling werd opgenomen en lang wachten voordat de bestelling door kwam. Beide keren om moeten vragen. (1 fles wijn, 4 glazen en een karaf water.....) Aan de drukte kon het niet liggen. Vier man personeel en een bijna leeg terras. De rose was lauw, volgens de medewerker ijskoud. Hier ontstond discussie over en met tegenzin werd de fles meegenomen om extra te koelen. Ook nog even gevraagd naar het water. Reactie van de medewerker was dat hij geen 5 handen had! Hier de medewerker op aangesproken en zijn reactie was dat het wellicht beter was dat wij zijn terras zouden verlaten. Dat het soms wat langer kan duren begrijp ik, maar deze medewerker moet nog veel leren. Voor ons nooit meer!

Was druk bediening duurde iets langer maar mooie weer maakte hoop goed . Er waren veel feesten en partijen vandaar denk ik .

Ze doen of het heel speciaal is maar als je eerlijk antwoord geeft dat het redelijk is zijn ze verbaast
