Today I ordered spare ribs and steak with mushrooms and bell pepper. Upon arrival, the fries were missing, and the spare ribs were a meager portion. Because the fries were missing, we called briefly and spoke to a friendly employee. However, I heard the owner yelling, so the employee handed the phone to the owner. What a great entrepreneur, keep up the good work! Spread the word! It might be wise to pay more attention to your staff; they're much friendlier. The steak was also a shoe sole.

On Saturday, July 8, 2023, a friend and I wanted to have a drink at this restaurant. When we arrived, there were two couples by the water, and another table or two occupied in the restaurant itself. We noticed that, even though it wasn't busy, we weren't being served. We sat there for a while, when a young woman came by and asked the other couples who had already been served if they wanted another drink. (She did this several times.) She passed us by again. When she came back, I asked if we were still being served. She said she'd call her colleague. She walked in, and they pointed at us, but they refused to serve us. Then someone from the restaurant came out, who probably worked there, glared at us, and walked on. Then two other groups arrived and were served immediately. We were the only people of color there at the time. Everyone who came after us was served, except us. Then it became clear we wouldn't be served. The couple sitting behind us looked in disbelief that we hadn't been served. We decided to leave anyway. They looked at us as we walked away. You don't know what that feels like until you experience it yourself. You feel angry, sad, and like you shouldn't be there. Wow, top-notch cuisine in a nostalgic location. The nuclear power plant still exudes...top-notch service.

Crepes and galettes (savory pancakes) the way they should be. In the center of Huizen. Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, and delicious ice cream. It's very quiet, but it shouldn't be. This is a true hidden gem.

Hadn't been there in a while, but now the six of us went again. The food is truly delicious in a relaxed atmosphere.
