Roasted in Wijk 1 Binnenstad

I don't write reviews very often and had been to Roasted before. I enjoyed it to my full satisfaction every time. Yesterday I had a Brazilian platter with picanha, rice, black beans, farofa, and vinaigrette. As a starter, butter-soft spare ribs—amazing. Hope to stop by again soon.

Really amazing. Had a Cote de Beauf with my son; super tender, juicy, tasty grilled vegetables, delicious types of fries. Highly recommended. Roasted burger special also super, the pichana is also super.

Had a delicious meal at Roasted. Wide selection of (meat) dishes and desserts, and everything was prepared wonderfully. Served on a board, so easy to share. The restaurant is set up a bit cramped, but that actually adds to the atmosphere. Reservations recommended.

Nova! Big shoutout to Nova! She helped us out so much and arranged a blanket for my wife! The food was wow! After dinner, I was speaking Portuguese right away, that's how good the meat was!

We ate with two small children. The food was served quickly and there are some games for the little ones to keep them occupied. I wouldn't describe it as a kids' restaurant, but they do cater well to their needs. The spare ribs, in particular, were deliciously seasoned.

Definitely recommended! I eat gluten-free and they took that into account very well! I was still able to choose almost anything from the menu. For starters, we had a shared platter with various appetizers; it was a lot! We were already almost full. Fortunately, they asked if we wanted the main course right away or to wait a little while; we chose the latter so that we would have some room left for the main course. It was very nice that they asked! The service was good, quick with drinks, and very friendly. We had a delicious meal!

The burger was okay, but the decor could use an update. The service was friendly and relatively attentive, however, I found the prices a bit too high for what you get.

We had an absolutely delicious meal! The service was very sweet, with staff occasionally coming down to the air-conditioned area to catch their breath from the heat. The Porcetta is highly recommended, as are the brisket and the summery burger. I wouldn't order the churros again; they were quite doughy. Nevertheless, we had a very pleasant experience. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely come back to eat.

The food here is always delicious. Usually the same 2-person meat/vegetable platter. Only the last time, a smaller piece of meat with a lot of fat and bone. That was a shame. You pay a lot for it. The times before that, it was a nice piece of meat, little fat and no bone. But anyway, otherwise always a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come back.

This is a great place to go for a good piece of meat! The cote de boeuf had tasty cuts, but also a lot of fat. The kitchen handled it well by serving an extra piece of picanha afterwards.

Waiting at the bar for more than half an hour for a first drink and a table that is reserved but unavailable. One thing if something goes wrong, another if nothing is done to resolve it.

Had a terrible experience here, never coming back. Food was meh, service was terrible. Started off with getting my drink wrong, very small thing so i didnt even mention it. Then they had forgotten about us apparently. We waited for over 40 mins for our main course. People that came after us were finishing their food. When it finally arrived they had gotten my wife's order wrong so it had to go back. She had to wait another 20-25 mins to get her correct food. Meanwhile they also got my fries wrong (I hate sweet potatoe fries). Eating a lonely steak while my wife had to just stare at me really ruined this dinner. Which was a birthday dinner from my wife by the way. 1/5 is well deserved.

I have been here several times, but last Saturday was a huge disappointment: We were well received and given a table upstairs. We sat down between 19:15 and 19:20 and ordered a drink almost immediately. We didn't receive our first drink until 20:05, after repeatedly asking and having to walk to the bar ourselves. The starters arrived fairly quickly and were excellent. The main course also took a while to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. The spareribs fell right off the bone, and the picanha was truly fantastic. So definitely order this one again. The waiter who served us didn't seem to care much about it all, which is a shame. A small apology or a free drink would have done wonders, and then we would have given a tip as well. On a future visit, I hope the quality of the food is reflected in the service.

A nice-looking restaurant. Comes across as relaxed. Friendly staff. Service was fine. The food was a bit disappointing for us. It is a Brazilian-inspired restaurant with a parrilla in the kitchen. The bavette is well prepared, medium done. However, the chimichurri is so salty that the taste of the meat gets lost. A shame, as if the salt forgotten on the meat is compensated for on the chimichurri. A pity. The spareribs are small portions, 9 ribs. They are pre-cooked with the membrane still on. The grill is barely used here, no smoke ring, and the sauce dictated the taste. Tender off the bone, but certainly not BBQ ribs; it looks like they were prepared in the oven. The side dishes are small portions. The homemade fries are mediocre; limp and not well fried. Partially raw, more like deep-fried potato wedges. Coleslaw is good Apple compote is good Tiramisu dessert is fine, an 8, not particularly flavorful, a bit bland, and missing the taste of the amaretto and espresso. I also spoke to the owner about hygiene in the kitchen. They have a semi-open kitchen where it is noticeable that the kitchen staff do not take hygiene very seriously. Yellow wipes are used to clean hands (they do wear gloves), after which food is handled again, the phone and beard are scratched with it, and then the same yellow wipe again and the food again. No hand washing and no new gloves. All in all, had a fine experience. A 6.7

After a day in beautiful Deventer, it was time to eat. I chose this restaurant based on reviews. The spareribs are really just as good as in the reviews. The meat falls off the bone and the taste is perfect. Not many fries, but in the end it was more than enough and I am a good eater. The service was also nice and helpful.

What an awesome place! Te food is delicious, specially the taste of the meats (we had pork, beef and chicken and they were all wonderful). I am not sure what it is in their grill, but it gives the meat this smoky flavor. Delicious. The staff was also super nice and friendly, and they played nice music. 10 out of 10!

A rather mixed feeling after dining at Roasted. Let’s start by saying that the service was a real 10/10. When we called to reschedule our reservation, they really went the extra mile. Great. The sticking point lies with the food. Our starter, consisting of the crispy chicken and the ribs, was super good! Tender and fresh. The main course was unfortunately less impressive. There was quite a lot of chimichuri on the picanha. Now, I don't mind that so much, but my dining companion unfortunately doesn't like it, so it's a shame when there is such a large spoonful on it. Also, the fries were a mix of colors, from nicely fried to black... a pity! P.S. The Pornstar Martini was tasty! But quite thick and cloudy. So, it's better to order this as a dessert rather than as a pre-dinner drink :)

Cozy restaurant in an atmospheric building. We had a delicious meal. We were turned away because it was too busy, but were called back to say there was room after all; it was a bit strange, but it didn't spoil the fun.

Had another super delicious meal for the second time! You do have to like the loud music, but otherwise it's the perfect place for a good meal! The price-quality ratio is very fair.

The food is amazing BIG TIME! The half Brazilian ( as far as i understood) was an amazing employee. The music was “loud” and so good, we enjoyed every second there. The atmosphere is so cozy! I definitely recommend it! thank you!

We received a friendly welcome; the layout is a bit cramped. We were seated right up against the bar, which we found a bit tight because the bar overhangs slightly, meaning you sit half underneath it. And there are a lot of people walking past. Friendly service. We shared a platter; the meat was certainly tasty, the spareribs fall off the bone. We found the chicken leg a bit less impressive, not in terms of tenderness but more the gnawing. Perhaps a nice chicken thigh would be a good substitute, as it is also a bit easier to eat. However, we did find the platter very pricey.

Definitely worth stopping by or ordering food. Tasty dishes in a great atmosphere and friendly service. We found the spareribs delicious.

What a wonderful place to eat truly well! We were served by an extremely friendly hostess, and we immediately felt completely at home. Of course, you have to try the picanha here, but the burgers and other cuts of meat are also highly recommended! The only downside I can think of is that the music was a bit too loud. We made a reservation weeks in advance, and then we walked in and were ushered to the bar. We asked for a regular table, and were told, "No, sorry, we're completely booked." Absolutely terrible service! We finally told them we weren't sure if we wanted to stay for dinner, and then we were suddenly able to get a table. It's a shame the first impression had a bad aftertaste. The food was excellent, though, and the meat was delicious.

A super cute, quirky little restaurant. Packed to the rafters. I was lucky; everything was booked online. I drove there anyway and asked for a table, and the staff were incredibly attentive. They checked on me four times to see if they had been able to help me. A+! The spare ribs were falling off the bone, incredibly tender and delicious! The burger was unfortunately cold, but the fries and sides were excellent. I highly recommend it. If it's busy, definitely reserve days in advance.

Roasted is pleasant and the service is excellent 👌 But to be honest, we found the somewhat dry burgers on a soggy bun (with delicious fries and grilled vegetables, by the way) overpriced at €24. A maximum of €17.50 would be more appropriate.

We hebben lekker gegeten, we hebben gekozen voor de Super Roast Kip met daarbij nog een loaded Fries pulled pork. Spareribs waren mals en smaakvol, de kip was ook erg lekker. De hambuger was lekker maar het broodje was een beetje droog. De loaded fries was niet geweldig, (te) veel jalapenos en de pulled pork "stug". De zoete aardappel friet en appelcompote waren beide erg lekker. Het toetje, de tiramisu, was lekker. Qua grote kon je die prima met zijn 2e delen

It's a shame you can only give 5 stars; we would have loved to give it more. We ate here tonight (5 people), and the food was delicious, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back (a few more times)!

Delicious food and fantastic hospitality! If you're a meat lover, you've definitely come to the right place! There were six of us, three of whom were disabled, and they were very accommodating (we had, of course, mentioned this when making our reservation). The music was a bit loud at first, but it calmed down a bit later. Hence the "only" 4 stars for the atmosphere. One other point to note: the red wine was a bit warm. If it had been a bit cooler, perhaps by using a wine cooler, it would have paired even better with the PF Picanha I had (which was truly excellent)! I will definitely be back.

Fast, tasty, correctly helped despite just opened. Everything was quickly and tasty on the table. This was perfect for us because we still had to travel far (Rotterdam) and had trained hard in fitlife4u.

Super lekker vlees echt top maar.... alle ingrediënten op 1 plank serveren is niet aantrekkelijk eten. Het personeel gebruikt een deur tussen keuken en bevoorrading en die knalt met een enorme klap steeds dicht. Dat in combinatie me veel te harde muziek een reden om niet snel weer te gaan. Echt jammer want de kwaliteit is goed!

The black bean burger with shiitake was dirty, the shiitake were too old, which made the gray bean sauce taste like mold. It was beautifully presented.

Cozy tent, cheerful service and tasty dishes

The burgers and nachos were delicious. I don't think Roasted has a serious competitor in Deventer. We have yet to try the steaks, but we will definitely return to this place in the future. The only little downside is the price per person. Excluding starters and desert, for a burger with a drink, we are talking about around 30 EUR per a person. On the other hand, for what you are getting, the price is quite reasonable.

Had dinner here with a friend on Saturday evening. We didn't make a reservation but were able to eat at the bar. Super nice place because we could look straight into the kitchen and the bar. Both the bar staff and service were extremely friendly to guests but also to each other (which is really important for the atmosphere in the restaurant). The menu was well explained and the food was super tasty.

Op aanraden van vrienden hier gegeten. Sfeer en bediening prima in orde. Omdat wij grote eters zijn zijn we gegaan voor de T-Bone van 1000 gram (€ 90). Vlees was aardig maar netto hielden we maar iets meer dan de helft over. Het bot van ruim 400 gram lag er voor de sier bij. Dan vinden wij € 90 toch behoorlijk aan de prijs. Wij gaan denk ik niet nog een keer.

We were in Deventer by chance and were looking for a nice restaurant. We were able to get some seats thanks to the staff. It was completely full and the vibe was great. We ordered and I got really tasty ribs. I’m usually very picky with food and rarely leave a review, but after I finished my meal I was looking for ways to write a review. Next time I’m in the neighborhood, I’m coming back here!
