Roasted is pleasant and the service is excellent 👌 But to be honest, we found the somewhat dry burgers on a soggy bun (with delicious fries and grilled vegetables, by the way) overpriced at €24. A maximum of €17.50 would be more appropriate.

We hebben lekker gegeten, we hebben gekozen voor de Super Roast Kip met daarbij nog een loaded Fries pulled pork. Spareribs waren mals en smaakvol, de kip was ook erg lekker. De hambuger was lekker maar het broodje was een beetje droog. De loaded fries was niet geweldig, (te) veel jalapenos en de pulled pork "stug". De zoete aardappel friet en appelcompote waren beide erg lekker. Het toetje, de tiramisu, was lekker. Qua grote kon je die prima met zijn 2e delen

It's a shame you can only give 5 stars; we would have loved to give it more. We ate here tonight (5 people), and the food was delicious, the atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back (a few more times)!

This was great. The food is superb - moist, falling off the bone chicken, home made fries and sauces. The roast veg were lovely.

Delicious food and fantastic hospitality! If you're a meat lover, you've definitely come to the right place! There were six of us, three of whom were disabled, and they were very accommodating (we had, of course, mentioned this when making our reservation). The music was a bit loud at first, but it calmed down a bit later. Hence the "only" 4 stars for the atmosphere. One other point to note: the red wine was a bit warm. If it had been a bit cooler, perhaps by using a wine cooler, it would have paired even better with the PF Picanha I had (which was truly excellent)! I will definitely be back.

The food is certainly tasty, but it's a bit pricey. We still had to order a main course, which had already been ordered. Shortly after, we were asked if we wanted the dessert menu. Oops. We were a bit lost. We were sitting outside while eating, in a planter without any plants, and there wasn't much atmosphere.

Fast, tasty, correctly helped despite just opened. Everything was quickly and tasty on the table. This was perfect for us because we still had to travel far (Rotterdam) and had trained hard in fitlife4u.

Super lekker vlees echt top maar.... alle ingrediënten op 1 plank serveren is niet aantrekkelijk eten. Het personeel gebruikt een deur tussen keuken en bevoorrading en die knalt met een enorme klap steeds dicht. Dat in combinatie me veel te harde muziek een reden om niet snel weer te gaan. Echt jammer want de kwaliteit is goed!

The black bean burger with shiitake was dirty, the shiitake were too old, which made the gray bean sauce taste like mold. It was beautifully presented.

Cozy tent, cheerful service and tasty dishes

Had dinner here with a friend on Saturday evening. We didn't make a reservation but were able to eat at the bar. Super nice place because we could look straight into the kitchen and the bar. Both the bar staff and service were extremely friendly to guests but also to each other (which is really important for the atmosphere in the restaurant). The menu was well explained and the food was super tasty.

The burgers and nachos were delicious. I don't think Roasted has a serious competitor in Deventer. We have yet to try the steaks, but we will definitely return to this place in the future. The only little downside is the price per person. Excluding starters and desert, for a burger with a drink, we are talking about around 30 EUR per a person. On the other hand, for what you are getting, the price is quite reasonable.

Op aanraden van vrienden hier gegeten. Sfeer en bediening prima in orde. Omdat wij grote eters zijn zijn we gegaan voor de T-Bone van 1000 gram (€ 90). Vlees was aardig maar netto hielden we maar iets meer dan de helft over. Het bot van ruim 400 gram lag er voor de sier bij. Dan vinden wij € 90 toch behoorlijk aan de prijs. Wij gaan denk ik niet nog een keer.

We were in Deventer by chance and were looking for a nice restaurant. We were able to get some seats thanks to the staff. It was completely full and the vibe was great. We ordered and I got really tasty ribs. I’m usually very picky with food and rarely leave a review, but after I finished my meal I was looking for ways to write a review. Next time I’m in the neighborhood, I’m coming back here!

Vandaag er wezen eten een hamburger besteld. Zeer slecht vlees het zat vol met spieren dus terug laten sturen. Na 10 minuten een tweede burger gekregen en precies weer hetzelfde verhaal. Heb hier nu twee keer gegeten en beide keren zwaar onder de maat. Kom hier nooit meer.

What a nice tent this is, seen from the outside you could easily walk past it. But once inside it's like coming home. Friendly and pleasant staff, excellent service and very hospitable. And then the food, to die for. Really what you expect from BBQ and more. Their own Gin is recommended, with a delicious smokey flavour. Top

Walking across the square in Deventer you will come across many cozy eateries and if you walk past Roasted outside it will be a bit less, but how different it is inside. Very nice service who managed to arrange a table, because the rest had already been reserved. Very nice help. We had the super Brisket and the Picanha, each with two side dishes and a bottle of red Carmenere. We thought both dishes had such delicious flavors and every bite was different in taste, but above all delicious. Had a great evening!

Vandaag wilden we graag eten bij Roasted en een tafeltje voor 2 gereserveerd. Bij aankomst hadden ze eigenlijk geen plek, maar wilde de bedienende jongeman ons aan een tafeltje zetten dat onder de bar staat. Mijn man is 2 meter en ik ben ook niet klein, dus dat past gewoon niet onder de bar. Toen mochten we alleen nog naast elkaar op een krukje aan het raam zitten terwijl er 2 goede niet gereserveerde plekken vrij waren. Ik snap dit niet? We zijn weggelopen en hebben ergens anders goed gegeten met vriendelijke bediening.

Food is very tasty. We were relatively close to the entrance. Guests arriving and departing regularly leave the door open. This means you are in a draft and it is cold. Requested several times to close the door. Very uncomfortable. Can be solved practically with a door closer or curtain. Table service was good. A good restaurant where we will definitely return, but really in a different place in the restaurant.

A cozy restaurant with top (meat) dishes. I had the super roast picanha with a burger, ribs and tender picanha. You must order the dish with at least two people and you will get more than enough, so it is ideal if you cannot choose or want to taste multiple dishes. The Sweet potato fries were made perfectly. The regular fries seemed a little undercooked, that was the only downside. Tiramisu for dessert, the chef was Italian so it couldn't have tasted better. In short, it was a great place to have a nice meal.

Even though we don't really live nearby, we come here often. We are meat lovers and then this is the place for you. The club steak is sublime! Yes, it is a bit more expensive than most dishes, but it is really worth it. Always pleasant here with nice staff. We are often quite full after a piece of meat, so we decide to have an espresso martini, which are also delicious here. Highly recommended.

Cool young team. The place has real flair. Even if it seems a bit hectic... The food and drinks are great but the ambience (place, audience, music...) is just right. Everything was perfect for me. A very disappointing experience unfortunately. The picanha was really not a picanha (and otherwise a rather failed version). Really tasteless and absolutely not as it should be. Really can't ask 31 euros for that. We were outside again within half an hour. The hamburger had bacon (while my table companion is Muslim). Ultimately it was due to an unclear map. As a result, we received a discount, so hence 2 stars instead of 1. Very disappointing..

Are you a meat eater? If you like a nice, tender chicken or Latino style grilled meat, then this is the place for you. My favorite place in Deventer.

Disappointment, we were there with 10 people. In addition to another duo, we ordered the club steak. Very expensive meat, they asked nicely about the cooking, but it was certainly not medium, it was very well done. It was solved by offering another piece of meat. The other duo's was better, but certainly not perfect. In my opinion you can do much better for that money (45 euros per person) and this should not happen in the first place. The quantity was also on the meager side, I normally eat fries and garnishes on my own. Unfortunately for me, not again.

Very busy place, tables closely packed. Ordered a césar salad chicken. The waiter asked if it could be chicken wings instead of pieces. We preferred no wings and got a salad with lettuce, bread crostines and capers. No egg or other greens. The vegetarian burger was a crust with a black smudgy inside and very salty. Nice people but terrible kitchen.

The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to make your evening even better. Explain neatly how the card works, etc. Don't forget to try dessert; The churros are highly recommended and can be enjoyed by the two of you! Being able to eat and have a drink outside, in a cozy atmosphere and with good weather.

Reservation was not in the system upon arrival. They offered us 3 chairs instead of 4. The boy made a strange comment about the number of people I had clearly given out. Then placed next to the toilet while the whole place was empty. Ultimately we asked for another place, outside, all the tables were wobbly and crooked, no heater, nothing. The place was empty and we waited 10 minutes for our soft drinks. Too bad we had high expectations because of friends, but that was a big disappointment

On our last visit to this restaurant we unfortunately had a disappointing experience. Although the service was friendly and cheerful, there was a distinct lack of knowledge about the food being served. We got mini fries that tasted like they had been reheated. They were dry and chewy, not crispy as they should be. When I asked the waiter what exactly the dish was, he had no idea. My wife had been here before and had a good experience then, but it seems the chef has changed. The burger had scorch marks from the grill and the bun was not nicely toasted, but burnt. Moreover, the burger itself was fried for too long and dry on the inside. I don't like to write negative reviews, but when you pay a lot of money and the chef doesn't have a standard for when something is burnt, that's just bad. I had ordered an extra burger to get more meat but it was served with like an oddly shaped half patty. The sweet potatoes were also overbaked, with 20% being too dark to eat. It was an unfortunate experience, especially since the last time was good! The dessert, the pudding, was tasty, but unfortunately it wasn't enough to save the overall experience. I won't risk my money visiting again hoping it will be good next time. Edit. I see that the 5 small pieces of fried chicken thigh that were also too dry (that's a lot for chicken thigh) cost 10 euros. And the extra “burger” on the meat cost 5 euros. Because of this I will take one star off. An expensive price for a dry and fried meal.

The hamburger was tasty, but not so tasty that it cost 20 euros, the same goes for the nachos (10 euros), fries, etc. The cocktails were tasty. Service was slow but nice.

Although the staff really tried to make something of it, we had a really bad experience tonight. Booked well in advance for 2 people, but when we arrive there is no table available. We can sit at the bar or outside. We went for a special occasion and didn't like the bar, so we decided to go outside. At half past eight it was still possible, but 1.5 hours later there was still no table available and by then it had really cooled down quite a bit. Finally, at just before half past nine, we got a table, because we saw that other people were leaving. Things also went wrong with the drinks, my friend did not get the non-alcoholic beer he had ordered but half a liter with alcohol in a rancid glass. Fortunately, we had received our starter in the 2 hours we were there, but both the chicken wings and ribs were disappointing. Although the ribs came off the bone fairly easily, there was little flavor. The chicken wings had a little more flavor, but could have used a little more spice for "chipotle" wings. Very tasty! I think waiting more than an hour for a starter is far too long, but then waiting another hour for your main course... it's irritating and takes away from the atmosphere. Especially when you notice that all the other tables around you are also constantly asking where the honors are, and in the meantime you hear grumbling everywhere. When our main courses arrived, even though they were the same burgers, they were completely incomparable. My piece of chicken was dry and very crispy, my friend's was more limp skin than meat. The chipotle was nowhere to be found and we got sweet potato fries instead of the regular fries we had chosen. After more than 2 hours we really didn't feel like sending the food back, but we did indicate that it was not as expected. Although the staff really tried to serve everyone well, and they offered us a drink and dessert on the house, that doesn't matter much if things go wrong on absolutely every level. Unfortunately for us it really was a downer tonight and certainly the last time we have been here.

Outside we could already smell that wonderful smell of meat roasting on charcoal. We chose the Super Roast Picanha. The taste was delicious, just a pity that the Picanha had a lot of fat. The spare ribs were delicious, the cheeseburger okay. We found the side dishes to be very small portions. We enjoyed the desserts.
