Had never been here before but was invited. Very small, too many seats, cramped. A lot of noise, loud talking.

Large portions, very reasonable prices. In terms of taste, the pizzas were not special. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the service is attentive.

We have eaten here quite often, and it has never disappointed us. Delicious pizza and pasta! The atmosphere is very nice, and the staff is very friendly. We were enjoying our meal, but we both got full quickly, so we couldn't finish it. The staff came over very kindly to ask if we liked it, or if something might be wrong. We had a very pleasant interaction that followed; we hope the staff didn't think we didn't enjoy ourselves, because that is worth it. Once again, a very nice experience; we will definitely be back soon!

Staff handle other people's belongings poorly, resulting in damage. They take no responsibility and then threaten to destroy even more items.

The restaurant has a very atmospheric atmosphere. The waitresses, especially the lady with the black hair, are a treasure of this place. After devouring the pizza, which I devoured with great gusto, I couldn't resist the tiramisu. The cappuccino is also very good. It's not sweet, and if you like sweets, you'll get some sugar. It's just a shame they don't have a drinks menu. I keep coming back to Roma with my friends. The best place and good prices.

A favorite for years whenever we are in Gouda

A lovely and affordable restaurant. We really enjoy coming here. The garlic butter, in particular, is very tasty on bread as a starter. You have to be careful not to eat too much of it, because it is so delicious that you won't have room left for the main meal. It is always pleasantly busy. The owner is always cheerful, very alert, and courteous. Even when she isn't there, it is nice to eat in the restaurant, but you do notice the difference. It seems as if the staff are a bit more impatient then and just slightly less interested in good service.

I made a reservation for tonight, and the lady on the phone asked if I needed to be somewhere afterward so she could accommodate my table service. We had to be at the cinema at 6:50 PM, and that went smoothly. A quick joke with the chef made the experience complete. Oh, and the food? 10/10

Our trip to Gouda ended on a perfect note with dinner at Roma Restaurant Pizzeria. The three of us shared pizzas and fried calamari with cheese, and everything was absolutely delicious. Really lovely and cozy restaurant. It's far enough from the market square to have a bit more of a "local" vibe. The decor and layout remind me of my grandma's house, in a good way. Service is friendly and prompt. I really love their pizza -- so far, it is my favorite that I have had in Gouda.

Super good Italian! I used to come here with my mother and always loved it. The restaurant has a cozy interior, plenty of seating, and the staff provides excellent service. You don't have to wait long for your order, and the food is delicious. You can also pick it up for takeout. I definitely recommend going here sometime. 👌🍕🍝

I ate here on Thursday night. It was pleasantly busy, and the waitresses were very friendly. The meat and pasta were truly fantastic. If I'm ever in the area again, I know where I'll be eating! 😀

We decided to add anchovies at the last minute, and that was no problem at all—taken care of immediately with a smile. The pizza came out of the oven perfectly, with a thin crust, melted cheese, and that salty touch of the fish. You could taste that everything was freshly made. The atmosphere was cozy and genuinely Italian, and bustling in a good way. The staff was friendly, fast, and well-coordinated. The wine was nice and chilled, and the music played softly in the background. A warm, welcoming pizzeria where they truly care about the customer.

Last week, on a weekday, I decided to get a single pizza from Pizzaria Roma. Upon entering, it quickly became clear that the staff—especially the kitchen staff—weren't in the mood. I got the impression they'd rather close earlier. However, the hostess and waitress were friendly and tried to make it work—my compliments! After ordering, I was eagerly anticipating the Italian flavor experience that would unfold in my mouth any moment. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. There was absolutely no love in the pizza I ordered. The crust was soggy, the ingredients generally didn't taste fresh, and I daresay the ham slices were straight out of the supermarket. What a disappointment. If you serve pizzas like that, you really shouldn't call yourself an Italian pizzeria.

Pizzeria with a dusty interior, friendly staff, and good service. However, the pizzas were way too salty. It just wasn't tasty anymore. Oh yeah, and pepperoni isn't salami with jalapeño on top.

For example, 🍷€3.50 Sambuca or Limoncello €4.20, so it's quite reasonable compared 🙈 to the prices on the terraces in the market square in the city. 🤔 is therefore not necessary at all. We used to come here a lot. After so many months we went to eat here again. Pizza no. 3 on the list is really bland, it's been like this for over a year now and I'm not the only one who thinks so. Such a shame, what has changed in the recipe? The same people in the kitchen. The taste is just gone.

Cozy old-fashioned with wicker bottles on the ceiling, but on the downside also dated, dirty wall and are the bottles dust-free? Completely full of guests, cozy. Friendly service. All dishes way too salty. We continued to drink water at home. Pizza dough for both calzone and pizza was baked too short or at too low a temperature because it was too soft and did not have that typical pizza taste or smell. We were very disappointed.

Nice food but the experience we had was very, very rude. We had made a reservation for 6:30 to 7 o'clock. After 15/20 minutes it became clear to us that we were being rushed. Very exaggerated asking every 5 minutes whether it was to your liking and whether we needed anything, while I was still eating my pizza my plate was taken away and asked if I wanted to take it with me, I was still asked if we wanted dessert forests that came very quickly, but were also cleared away very quickly. Then a lady came to us and told us that they needed the table again because a double reservation had been accidentally booked while we still had 40 minutes. Normally I understand this, of course it can happen sometimes. But then they also make us pay the full bill? I think it would be polite and customer-friendly to at least give the customer a free drink if they are in such a hurry and you have made them feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Very very rude.

Nice meal. Mussels in tomato sauce in advance, worth repeating! Pizza was fine. I prefer crispy bases, this pizza was a bit greasy and had a weaker base. But for price-quality and with the super nice service, definitely a place to go back to.

We picked up a pizza there, namely a pizza with ham. We had the impression that the pizza had ham toppings on it that should actually be on bread. We didn't like that on the pizza. This time we were unlucky and had to wait a long time until they recorded our destination and also had to wait a long time for the main course. We asked if we could take the pizza home. Pasta carbonara was truly spectacular, delicious, perfect and straight up delicioso. Staff was super nice and the pasta is cheap (12 euros for almost all pasta). The interior was cozy and it is close to Gouda station. It doesn't get better than this.

Be careful with food!!!!! Dangerous situation. All 6 of us ate a pizza and 2 pizzas contained iron hooks, from the iron brush used to clean the oven rack. These are life-threatening if swallowed. Already banned in the US due to very serious accidents (surgical removal from esophagus) and even death.

Friendly service and nice atmosphere. The pizzas seem to be okay, but the ravioli tasted like shelf-stable supermarket ravioli that had been cooked for too long, and the sauce was also unconvincing.

Try the pizza! - because the lasagna and the spaghetti aglio were not worth 3 stars + the cappuccino was unworthy of an Italian. However, the service (I think it was the boss) was very nice.

Had dinner here a while ago and it was very tasty. However, I found the service mediocre, staff were chewing gum while taking the order and it took a while before everyone finally had their food, leaving others waiting at the table. If the service were better I would definitely recommend this restaurant, but not now.

Heerlijk gegeten in een prima ambiance met hele vriendelijke en fijne bediening. Prijs/kwaliteit is dik in orde. Echt een aanrader.

My boyfriend and I regularly eat out here. We then order the standard carafe of red lambrusco, which tastes delicious with the baguette in advance that you always get here. After this appetizer, there are so many tasty options to choose from. Our personal favorites are the Pizza Roma, the spaghetti carbonara, the scaloppina alla romana and the saltimboca alla romana. For dessert you cannot avoid the delicious homemade tiramisu. We always feel pampered here by the friendly and hospitable service, and we would love to come back here! :)

Normally we take pizzas here because it tastes delicious and is not expensive, but now we tried meat and we liked it very much!!

After +- a year of being a loyal customer, I pulled the plug today. A pizza folded in half was burned with a hole in it and this was hidden by throwing lettuce over it. This was indicated when I received a half raw pizza back. Had complaints several times on Thursdays. No coke yet to compensate. No, that's not how you treat regular customers.

Treated to a dinner and booked for 5 people, we got a good spot and that was a good thing. What a packed place and what a noise, my calzone was tasty but not special. The other pizzas were also good. But the Spaghetti Carbonara didn't look and taste fresh, we had the feeling it had been reheated. We all had ice cream for dessert, tasty but not special. The whipped cream had lost its strength and looked like a puddle of milk. Service itself was good and smooth, but we were constantly looked away, because there was still a long line waiting. So I skipped the Cappuccino and paid quickly, the bill wasn't too bad by the way. But unfortunately for us it was a one-off, or at least not on Friday anymore.

Eten was goed. Ik had er wel iets meer van verwacht maar goed. Dat was verwachting. Personeel was zeer vriendelijk. Wel krap om te zitten en in de loop van de keuken. Volgende keer andere plaats vragen

It was a cold damp Saturday evening when we decided to visit this Italian restaurant. Wow what a perfect night we enjoyed here. The place was buzzing with locals and the waiters are lively and warm. I have to admit that the decor is bordering on kitschy Italian but it works its charm here. We got given complimentary fresh bread with garlic butter which was delicious. We ordered a jug of house wine which was refreshingly dry and fruity. The menu is vast and you certainly have to return to try out the variety of dishes. I settled for the napolitana pizza and it was absolutely delicious! For pudding, I chose the dame Blanche and it was very nice. We are coming again soon :-)

Nou het was dan ook weer super.een enorme grote schaal verse salade erbij en frietjes met hele goede Italiaanse wijn En dan die zelfgemaakte tiramisu,het is de lekkerste die ik ooit gegeten heb. Dat is een feestje om op te mogen eten. Kortom met de supervriendelijke altijd lachende serveersters om je heen heb je er gewoon de avond van je leven. Ondertekend door Tino holt..........
