Amazing omelett sandwich just what i needed to start the day. We also got a cheese croissant which was really tasty and freshly made. The coffee was great as well very smooth. The woman that served us (i’m guessing the owner) she was so kind and helpful always smiled and showed that she cares.

Always cheerful and helpful, delicious sandwiches, always freshly prepared. All in all, a great place!

With a heavy heart, I have to conclude that without Ron, it's not really what it used to be. Does it look nice after the renovation? Absolutely. The staff varies. Some are very friendly, others, well, so-so. The sandwiches... a bit meager. The baba ganoush was spread like butter, and not a single eggplant was seen. I think there was about a fifth of a bell pepper on it, man, oh man. I've tried the sandwiches twice this week now, and I'll leave them alone. Unless Ron happens to be there. I'll definitely be back for the bakery bread.

It was my birthday and I got an apple pie here. The ladies were full of praise for the apple pie, and rightly so. The pie was excellent. The service here is always warm and welcoming, which is something you don't see very often these days. Keep it up! 6 stars for the service.

What a beautiful bakery! We were helped by some incredibly sweet girls today. So enthusiastic. We enjoyed delicious sandwiches. And the delicious oatmeal cookies to take home. I highly recommend getting some delicious sandwiches here for lunch. We'll definitely be back.

Poor quality, poor service, they act like they really don't want to be there, and that creates a strange atmosphere in the store. I'm never going back!

The staff is so friendly, a young, cheerful group who really care about you and take their time. Verboom has been fantastic for years, now in the completely renovated store. Beautiful!

I came after arriving in Amsterdam, and it was good value for money. Plus, you can eat there and charge your phone if needed. I bought a hot chocolate and a sandwich.

Wow, just had a fantastic renovation. The same great and affordable selection, but what makes me even happier are the new sandwiches. All-time favorite for a quick lunch in Amsterdam.

Great little bakery. Croissants were excellent

I loved the amount of selection they had to offer - we didn't try the sandwiches, but the pastries were pretty good (typical croissants and pastries). I'd love to go back and try some of their fresh loaves sometime. Seating was somewhat limited and the layout a little strange - but there was plenty of bar seating for us to eat at.

Ordered chocolate donuts for my sons birthday party. And they were amazing! Even my husband who is quite picky about food loved them. When I came to pick them up I was also pleasantly surprised by the friendly girls behind the counter. We will definitely come back!

It was an explosion of flavors at the first bite of the croissant with cheese and ham. I had to go back every day for breakfast. Simply perfect and the atmosphere was very calm and friendly. I drank my coffee and ate my croissant watching the locals go about their normal lives, a wonderful experience. And on my next trip, I will be back.

I've been coming here for sandwiches for years, but it's not what it used to be. I once paid 4.50 for a sandwich, which was generously filled. Nowadays it's 7 euros for the same sandwich, but then with a meager filling. The sandwiches have unfortunately become far too expensive, but that doesn't show in what you get. Too bad. I liked coming here.

Women with dark hair hates customers. Rolls her eyes every time you ask for anything outside of what takes her minimum effort. Shame, as it seems like one of the last family run bakery’s in a city being overrun with chains.

Local bakery~ The service providers are friendly and the bread is fresh. This is a bakery that locals can enjoy comfortably. The taste is ordinary ^^ The price in the photo is about 15 euros!

Was horrified when the staff picked up the pastries with her bare hands. Ordered the sausage roll and it was put in the microwave and still cold in the middle. Not worth the money.

You can feel the prejudice exude from the employees the second you step in. Employees are straight up rude with no reason, ignorant and your shop is filthy when you give it a good look. No wonder your overpriced goods remain staling on those shelves.

We did not try the sweets, but we tried the fresh made sanwiches. The sandwiches and the ingredients were amaizing and the staff was super friendly and fast as well. Breakfast price/value rate was one of the best we found in this area in 4 days.

Great for pick-ups for a tasty "Broodje gezond" or "Broodje filet-americain", and a lot more of different "Broodjes". Comes at a decent price. staff is energetic and friendly. The traditional bakery stuff, like a loaf of bread, is not great, not terrible.

I'm a local and often go to this excellent, straightforward, no-nonsense neighbourhood family Bakkerij! Well priced, bread you can taste & enjoy. It's been part of de Pijp for years ... I'm addicted to the haverkoekjes (oatcakes). And you can't beat Ron's traditional Dutch appeltaart (applecake, see my foto) with fresh whipped cream.

Net oliebollen gekocht en ze zijn erg lekker. De rozijnen smaken naar rum. We hebben nog nooit zulke luchtige en smaakvolle olliebollen gegeten.

Here you will find tasteful bread and snacks (kaasbroodjes and pizzabroodjes are my favourite). Never too crowded, even on Saturday at lunch time. They also make sandwiches with fresh ingredients that you can pick by yourself.

Went there in the morning expecting fresh bread, it was clearly from the day before. Sandwich stand had a small cockroach passing outside. Would not visit again.

Geweldige broodjes super vers en veel keus. Snelle bediening en erg vriendelijk . Ook heerlijke brownies ,koeken en brood. Verse jus en goed ontbijtje . Topper dit hardwerkende bakkerswinkeltje
