What a lousy place. Small and takeaway orders take priority. Large orders must wait until the other orders are finished. There is no structure for customers waiting for their orders. Called orders have no priority. Waiting for your order can take longer than an hour. It is a very expensive outing (over 2 hours of extra parking costs).

It sometimes takes a long time, but it's always worth it! Really tasty.

The food is good, but the people aren't nice.

I've been coming here for years, but what you get nowadays is ridiculous beyond words. A roti roll full of chicken and not even a potato inside, with a total of 3 pieces of long bean. I literally threw up after 2 bites and unfortunately had to throw it away. Every time I come here, I also see new family members scooping up your food. I would really rather go to Amsterdam for a roti at Roopram; they understand the state of affairs. (Roopram Rotterdam will never see me again!!!) never again !! PS: If you don't feel like doing this anymore (especially that lady behind the counter, she's always sour), then just quit, but don't burn the name Roopram! This is really disappointing.

The food is really delicious; we had the roti to take away, but it's a real shame that despite asking for extra gravy, there was still very little of it! I'm not giving the service a single star! Friendliness and a smile are nowhere to be found. You don't feel welcome here. And I think the price (which has been raised again) is too high for the amount of food you get.

Huge disappointment, just ate there and paid well over 18 euros and found a hair in the roti chicken curry sauce underneath, it was on the plate so it was NOT on the cutlery huge disappointment DISGUSTING!!!!

The food at Roopram Roti is tasty, but the portions are too small for the price. The chicken pieces and roti flatbreads could be more generous. The flow is awkward; you have to queue multiple times, and it gets messy when it's busy. The interior is bare and dated, lacking the atmosphere for a cozy seating experience. Not really a place to take your guests. Take a look at Verhagen, also a snack chain, but it *does* feel cozy there if you stay for dinner.

I'm getting the chicken roti on the bone here. Extra roti flatbread, extra egg, nice coconut drink on the side. Done, you know what my plate looks like afterwards!

Roopram... simply the best. I have only eaten better at home.

Ordered 2 hours in advance, still delivered half an hour late. Much too small portion. According to the delivery driver, the tip does not go to the driver. On the phone, Roopram says they are "not responsible for the delivery". Asked if they could offer any compensation for the situation. They are unwilling to do so.

Love this place. Kip curry actually has flavour compared to a lot of other similar spots. Bara is great and the lamb curry too. Sunny beautiful spot at the mathenesserbrug.

A nice Roti place in Rotterdam. They give you a lot for you money. Eating here will make you full for a whole day! Easy to order, enough seats and a nice working airconditioning. The only sad thing that day was, them being out of Bara.

Ordered from Thuiszorgd. And what a disaster. The last time we ordered was June 1st, and now, about two months later... it has really gone downhill. You just have to search inside the roti roll for the chicken, and it's so sparsely filled, and that for 12 euros! Paid 60 euros total, plus the rotis at 17 euros each, and there's so little in them. It's like they've lost their passion or something... we've been coming here for well over 10 years, but this isn't okay. Then you call, and no one answers. And then having the DRINK with the food means it's already lukewarm, because usually a Fernandes is just delicious when it's cold.

I visited here for the first time today and took two tempeh sandwiches with me. It was terrible; the tempeh was tasteless and very greasy! The pickles and sambal were awful too. I just ended up with food poisoning: stomach pain, nausea, and vomiting. NEVER again.

I paid 13.5 for chicken roti with an egg; not terrible, but the portion was quite meager.

So, this place makes the best Roti in the region. So much flavor. So delicious. Such soft yet crispy long beans. So well made. They know exactly how to use spices. Anyone who wants to eat Roti has to go to Roopram.

Bad business, food is bad, small portions for takeaway, curry consists of oil, price is too expensive in relation to content, quality, and quantity. Adjust your prices or food, this is ridiculous, just put more on the menu, we are not living in a war or prison.

Where do I even begin? Orders never go right; you order what you get, which is completely different. And if you complain about it, you get a rude response too. We chose the Roti Temp vegan dish. The food was well-prepared, homemade style. You can also order Roti with chicken, pork, and shrimp. I recommend a visit.

They don't listen. Clearly stated no pepper with my food. Still placed... paid €27... had to throw everything away. A small bowl of pepper ended up on everything. Bad bad bad

Please improve your telephone service. I have tried calling you on different days and times, multiple times in a row with some pauses in between, but you hardly answer. But you don't call back either. There are people who do not live around the corner who would like to order something in advance or know the opening hours, since the times are incorrect.

Ordered three times, but waited more than 75 minutes twice. Once slowly via Thuisbezorgd, the other time directly via their website. Both times the food was cold.

Arrived at 7:30 a.m. for business from The Hague. While Google says it's open until 9 p.m., I ended up being closed upon arrival. Absolutely ridiculous. Do something about it and post it on your Google Business account if you're closing a day early.

My first time. Roti mix was fantastic. Very spacious seating. I did have to get used to the system where, after ordering and paying, you have to wait in line for your food. You have to take your own seat and eat it. The service would deserve a 5-star rating.

One of the stingiest places in Rotterdam, you order 60 euros worth of food for 2 people, they shamelessly ask €0.10 for a plastic bag and for an extra container of sambal, there are 30 people inside, they work with 2 staff to save costs, nothing other than to stay away to avoid stress and depression

Went for dinner for the first time on the recommendation of a good friend, who now jeopardized our friendship. Waste of money, I'll never do that again!

Unique experience I ate chicken rice here, and it was a huge mistake. The food was clearly not fresh, had an unpleasant smell and taste, and looked unsanitary. The chicken was poorly prepared, and the rice seemed stale. I got sick after eating, which makes the experience even worse for me. This is unacceptable and downright dangerous. Hygiene and food safety don't seem to be taken seriously at all here. I absolutely do not recommend this place. Food is supposed to be safe—this clearly wasn't.

Delicious roti I'm especially a fan of the lamb roti

A truly delicious snack bar; don't expect anything more. It's simple, complete, and functional. Delicious food, handwashing, seating, etc. Super simple but delicious.

The last time I was here was almost two years ago, and I was very disappointed. Prices were constantly rising and portions were getting smaller. I tried again this week, but unfortunately, there was no improvement. Prices were higher again, and portions were even smaller. I ordered a roti roll with chicken, long beans, and potatoes. It no longer had the yellow pea filling, but a very small amount of long beans, potato, and two small pieces of chicken. A roti roll was rolled up into a thick piece of "dough," and all that for €12. That's a very expensive rolled-up plain roti, very disappointing. Combined with the disappointing taste, it was a waste of money; you really can't fill your stomach with this.

Today, around 7:30 PM, I bought three chicken rotis and took them home. I got home because I couldn't wait any longer! I opened the package and, yes, there was so little sauce (soerwa) in it, I was completely surprised. How on earth can you eat such a large roti with so little sauce, Lady WITH THE GLASSES??? You really can't do that, I'm deeply disappointed😣. You don't want to know what I ate... the food was just delicious, that's for sure. If you pay for it, you should get enough. I heard that woman on the phone earlier saying they need meat, but then you have to wait for it if there isn't enough at that moment... it doesn't cost you anything, but please don't do this to the customer!!!!! This is terrible!

The chicken in my roti was dry and there was no sauce, which is what makes their roti so delicious.

The food is usually okay. But the last two times it's been terrible. I ordered roti with extra chicken, and all I got was bone and bare pieces of back/rib. A total of 3 tablespoons of meat. Probably leftover Delftware. It was also saltier than usual. Not for a while.

Delicious traditional chicken curry and roti, wonderfully tender and super juicy. The peppers are just right. You'll sweat if you add some extra heat. It's also a great location to enjoy your chicken curry sandwich in the restaurant, overlooking the water or the bustling square. Parking nearby can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but so far, there's always been a spot. I also saw many other delicious dishes that customers seem to be enjoying. So we'll definitely be back to try other dishes. And, of course, to take the roti away again.

I had a delicious chicken roti here; the meat was very tender and the roti itself was delicious. The ginger beer was nicely spicy, as was the sambal. The atmosphere isn't great, but the food more than makes up for it 100%.

First of all, the staff were not customer-friendly at all. The woman at the cash register looked at us with disinterest, and I quickly felt like a bad influence. Never again! Food was overly salty. Large container of sambal 14 euros! Prices are too expensive. Container of potatoes with long beans, 20% potatoes and 80% long beans. Disproportionate. Indicated in advance that I would write a review about my choice from the menu. I don't come to the West that often and I have eaten at Roopram's a few times, but that was years ago. I thought I would give it a try. Ordered roti chicken with chicken liver with an extra roti plate, because I was getting hungry. It said that after 19:30 only pick-up was possible (the store was empty, probably because of all the bad reviews I am reading now). -My order was sealed, but I opened it outside right away to eat it. The food was almost cold!!! -The food was very poorly divided, namely a lot of chicken liver and only 2 cubes of chicken fillet, -mega little potato with garter!!! Greedy and lazy to make more for sure!! -Roti is machine-made, they admit that in the store. "Haa beta hum bhoeria hoygayli, kahan hum itna roti banai sakila?" If a roti is so poorly filled and wafer-thin, then it can't be called roti!!! I am used to some roti in my life, but take-away roti remains very difficult to get a real traditional well-filled roti. And nowadays you don't get home-made roti anymore when you are invited to a wedding according to the Hindu rites, all catering fuss. Too bad!! This makes it, that the price and quality ratio are poorly matched. As far as I'm concerned, this place can close down and close!!

If you want to taste authentic Surinamese roti with chicken, you should go to Roopram's. There you can taste how the Hindustani ancestors originally prepared it: with chicken on the bone. Chicken fillet was only added later, adapted to the Dutch preference. Of course, there are also other tasty dishes on the menu. Enjoy your meal - or as they say in Suriname: jang switi! However, I think the prices are about 15% too high, and you see that in almost all restaurants these days. If a restaurant really wants to achieve a high turnover, more attention must be paid to affordability. Otherwise, customers will eventually stay away. So, take advantage of this tip.

Ordered online in the afternoon. Unfortunately they were too late. Called and delivery person was on his way. More than 45 minutes late. Food was lukewarm. Taste was good. An hour later we were called with an apology and were offered two new meals for free. It wasn't necessary, but he wanted everyone to be happy. Today these two meals were delivered including banana chips and even a third meal! Top service! And we enjoy a delicious roti chicken fillet again.

Since when does roti come with mashed potatoes and no egg.... The only thing you taste is salt, with every bite.... I understand that you want to get the taste... But we don't have to get salt poisoning.... Roopram no longer lives up to its name... The only thing Hindustanis are good at is making money with less quality... And I regret that I paid 36 euros.... Ordered 2 portions, the same evening both me and my girlfriend got food poisoning. Outrageously bad. The portions were even vegetarian, so there is something seriously wrong with hygiene.
