See on my statements that I paid 28.25 euros for a tiny chicken sandwich (7.75), a large shawarma sandwich (11.25) and two cans of Coke Zero. Did I pay 9.25 euros for two cokes? Food is substandard in terms of portion and the fact that I have to pay so much for a little drink is ridiculous. Cunt tent. Not. Come.

Shawarma ROZ is the no. 1 in the Netherlands or even Europe where you can still eat authentic lamb shawarma with the original sauces that come with it. I therefore highly recommend this shawarma restaurant. You come here for shawarma lamb dishes, keep that in mind if you plan to eat here.

I wish I checked the reviews before coming here. Please don’t come here! Me and my partner were pretty hungry so thought a simple falafel wrap can’t go wrong. Boy were we proven wrong! I ordered with cheese which I assumed for a couple euro extra would be halloumi but turned out to be a slice of processed cheese??? Falafel was synthetic and definitely frozen. Pita was the cheapest supermarket pita. Two of the worst falafel wraps we have had, and two cans of drink, final bill €24. ?????? Honestly, biggest positive was we didn’t order meat because if we did…. I would be worried. If you want a kebab near here, just go best doner. If not, go to bed hungry.

Roz is a concept in Amsterdam. One of the best when it comes to shoarma. The food is always delicious and the service is always top.

Mediocre place, drunk friend recommended it. Not to eat and I also paid 10 for a sandwich while she apparently paid 6. So, cheaters and scammers, don't go there.

Ordered a shawarma, got something for 19€!!! and that guy insisted on paying. Especially for what I actually paid (picture). I feel scammed

Excellent shawarma sandwich Worth the detour for

When I visited Shawarma Rozz I had high expectations of a tasty Kapsalon chicken. However, my positive first impression upon arrival quickly disappeared when I opened my order and, much to my disappointment, discovered quite a few shortcomings. First of all, the lettuce was completely missing from my Kapsalon. Although the sauce was fortunately packaged separately, the usual elements such as tomato, onion and red sauce were completely absent. To my surprise, I later discovered that the lettuce was somewhere underneath the warm chicken, which completely negated the freshness. After all, lettuce should be a refreshing addition that brings balance to the whole, not a limp mass that drowns at the bottom of a hot dish. Unfortunately, the quality expectations I had with Shawarma Rozz were not met. This restaurant has failed not only in executing the basic elements of a Kapsalon, but also in maintaining the freshness and balance of the ingredients. Given this disappointing experience, I cannot recommend Shawarma Rozz and will consider other options in the future.

Great food open late small portion size though. Good quality meat all sauces made in house.

Nice tent. Loved coming here as a child with mom and grandpa. But shouting "here" upon arrival and hitting the counter/menu twice is not how a host receives a guest. Good tent, but not a good word for this host. Edit: I immediately walked away from this reception. It starts with "Good evening" or at least "Hello".

Without knowing I could understand dutch, the servers complained out loud about this “gay” who came in, when he could have gone anywhere else. They also unjustifiably charged an extra euro with no explanation. Never felt this discriminated in Amsterdam.

Been coming there for so many years, but after having been there a few times I was very disappointed, I had discussed this with an acquaintance of mine and he no longer gets food there, now I make it super fresh at home.

Great worked and cooks. The food was great and good sized. They gave us dessert free on the house and the prices weren’t bad for food either. I Recommend eating here

The place smelled musty, takeaway took ages, although we only had 2 lentil soups. Unfortunately, they tasted like packet soup and too expensive as well. Can’t recommend.

The fact that you've gotten as far as reading this review says enough. Really RIDICULOUSLY expensive for what you get. Please stay far away from this

Do not go here. Disgusting. The restaurant was stinky and the food was terrible. My husband ordered a falafel sandwich and I ordered kebab. The falafel looked like it had been in the back of the freezer for years. The kebab was deep fried patties of unidentifiable meat. My husband begged the owner for hummus and tahini but they said they didn’t have any in the restaurant (despite it being on the menu). This place exists only to take advantage of drunk people and tourists.

Friendly and accommodating! Asked lettuce, got lettuce, got brought an extra pita. Will come again. Especially good for late night!

Very disappointing shoarma - possibly the worst I’ve ever had. €10 for non existent bread, below average lamb, no salad and a small portion. Plenty of other decent options out there in Amsterdam.

A household name in Amsterdam for 40 years and nothing has changed in the taste of the meat and sauce for 40 years. If you've lasted 40 years, you're doing something right.

A friend of mine always buys me fried chicken here (it has a lil spice) and it's one of my favourite places to get chicken ever. I've never been inside so I can't comment on the service or anything.

They delivered a bag of meat as „Brodje shoarma“, no salat or vegetables. It was not only tiny but as a take a way not eatable. I cannot recommend

Het was er druk, daardoor geen tafeltje vrij. Bestelling doorgegeven bij de balie en zelf gaan zitten aan een vrijgekomen tafeltje, welke nog sporen bevatte van de vorige eters. Na ruim 10 minuten riep de (vermoedelijke) eigenaar, vanachter de grill, door de zaak: "Heeft al besteld?" (Ja dus.) Toen moest men dus nog starten met onze bestelling. In de tussentijd wilde mijn tafelgenoot een sigaretje roken en ging naar buiten. En, hoewel het nog geen sluitingstijd was, sloot een medewerker de roker buiten. Na flink wat aandacht trekken werd de roker weer binnengelaten. Inmiddels na sluitingstijd ontvingen we onze bestelling: "Groot broodje shoarma." Jammer dat er geen groente in of bij werd geserveerd. De drie sausjes was aan de krappe kant voor drie eters, maar wel goed van smaak. De sambalsaus was erg heet. Terwijl wij zaten te eten kreeg iemand van een andere tafel bij het afrekenen ruzie met diezelfde (gestresste) medewerker (eigenaar) en dat ging met verheven stemgeluid van beide kanten. Samengevat: Gestresst en chagrijnig personeel, wat luidruchtig en chaotisch werkt en een karig broodje shoarma maken, die daardoor prijzig mag worden genoemd. Erg jammer om de teloorgang van deze eens uitstekende Egyptische shoarma zaak van dichtbij te moeten meemaken. Ik kom daar iig nooit meer.

11 euro voor een shoarma pita betaald.. het was ok.. maar voor 11 euro verwacht je wel wat beters..

Kapsalon is hier met aardappelschijfjes ipv friet. Maar wel lekker. Kost wel een tientje dus duurder dan elders

Food was pretty good and a good size portion and the owner seemed to be very friendly..the only thing was the smell as you go in .not sure wether it was damp or what but it was a bit off putting

Ontzettend mager bakje shoarma voor de prijs die je betaalt, werden ook "vriendelijk" gevraagd weg te gaan omdat ze de tafel nodig hadden, vind ik eigenlijk niet kunnen

De beste Shoarma, Kebab en Shaslick in Amsterdam, en misschien wel in heel Nederland...

Broodje shoarma is het enige wat ik al jaren hier eet. Nergens betere shoarma te krijgen. Minpunt is de prijs, die is te hoog voor een minibroodje, dus als je er twee neemt met een drankje ben je 20 piek kwijt en zit je nog niet vol. Ander minpunt is dat het interieur wel een keer opgefrist mag worden. Oud en miuffig met jaar in jaar uit kerstverlichting.
