Really yummy! Walked in and all 7 other ppl were eating the same thing. So I join and ordered the delicious and popular chicken Kapsalon aka barbershop lol ~ Also, all the guys working (and enjoying their meals!) were very friendly and helpful. The experience felt like I went to a friends and was in perfect time for dinner hehehe

Best moroccan 'kapsalon' in Amsterdam almost never fails me, but recently they charge extra for the sauce which is a ripoff while it was always free and famous for it. Sad. Update: I paid for the zanzi sauce when ordering takeaway this idiot gives me hot sauce. Nobody eats hot sauce from this place how can you make this stupid mistake!

I haven't eaten here in a long time. Finally, I thought I'd enjoy a kapsalon like I used to. I was very disappointed. The taste of the kapsalon has really deteriorated, which is a shame. The previous people who worked there made it much better.

The food takes an unusually long time, and the staff makes you wait half an hour even though there are no customers. Furthermore, hygiene and customer service are nowhere to be found. Never again!

Poor service, unfriendly staff, and downright poor hygiene. My last experience here was a complete disappointment. Even though I arrived well before other customers, I had to wait 25 minutes. Meanwhile, people who came in later were helped immediately, simply because their orders were smaller. My order (3 Zanzi hair salons) was simply delayed, even though I had paid in advance. When I commented on this, the staff reacted rudely and irritated. As if that wasn't enough, I found a hair in my hair salon while eating – incredibly dirty and absolutely unacceptable from a hygienic perspective. That alone is reason enough for me never to return. On top of that, I was forced to pay cash because they couldn't accept card payments. In this day and age, that's incomprehensible and very customer-unfriendly.

It took two hours for my food. First and last time.

Waited an hour for one kapsalon (tiny!!) And we ended up getting the wrong order. Waited an hour and ended up with no food. Such a shame. Never again!!!

We recently dined at Zanzi and it was fantastic! The staff were friendly and patient. Fast service and a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious; the kapsalon chicken is especially recommended. Definitely worth a visit!

Combination works well with chicken and shrimp in the kapsalon and the sauce is top!

There are little children working there who don't know what hygiene means. It's a filthy place, the tables are dirty, the floor is filthy, and the trash bins aren't emptied. The staff wears gloves at the cash register, and they handle your food with the same gloves. There's a mountain of cheese on the hair salon, and there's no salad in sight. If you want a stomachache, eat here.

Don't eat here! This used to be a very nice place. The food was always delicious and the staff was always friendly. Since this year, that's no longer the case, because now only young children work there. The food isn't prepared well, and the children are rude and ill-behaved misfits.

They used to be good, but since new employees arrived, things have been very disappointing.

You would think that everything would be better arranged after the renovation, but unfortunately that was not the case. I ordered a kapsalon chicken satay, but at 5:00 PM I was already told that the satay sauce was gone. The boy behind the counter asked if I wanted it without sauce, to which I indicated that that was fine, as long as there was lettuce, cucumber, tomato, garlic sauce, sambal and Andalusian sauce. Once I got home, the food turned out to be completely wrong. There was no sauce and no vegetables either. Only dry fries and a gigantic amount of chicken - about half a kilo, which is really not normal. To make matters worse, there was also a hair in the food. That was really the last straw for me. After this experience, I will not be coming back here.

My order (3 kapsalons Zanzi) was delayed, which is not fair - especially since I paid for everything in full. There was no promotion like '3 for 2', so I expect the same service as everyone else. When I made a comment about this, the staff reacted very rudely and irritated. During my meal I also found a hair in my kapsalon, which literally made me feel sick. This is unacceptable in terms of hygiene. In addition, the price-quality ratio is completely out of balance. For a high price you hardly get fries or shrimps these days - way too expensive for what you get. I will never order from here again.

I have been coming to Zanzi for years and the food has always been delicious. Recently it has become more expensive, even though there is no lettuce and tomato in it every time. I have enjoyed coming to Zanzi for years. The food, especially the hair salon, is always top quality and the price is excellent. I'm surprised there are negative reviews. The ambiance is simple, but if you want luxury, go to Aqua Asia. For me it's all about the taste, and it's always good here. Parking can sometimes be difficult, but you can always find a spot a minute away.

Worst hair salon ever, didn't even get fries, only cheese and shrimp. This will never be like eating Zanzi again. And whoever created this hair salon, I'm going to make sure you get fired.

I always go to Zanzi's, but sorry, hygiene is going in the wrong direction now. Garbage bin cannot even be emptied normally. Tiles are dirty. Tables are not cleared, really dirty. Staff seems like you get it for free from them. Is it that hard to keep everything clean? Even the owner throws dirt upon dirt while he has to give an example to staff. what they sell is not a hair salon but pieces of chicken and fries. A real kapsalon is prepared with Döner and fries. and the location resembles Gaza strip.

Tastiest hair salon (chicken/shrimp) in the Netherlands. Driving from The Hague especially for this for years.

Ik heb hier de gevaarlijkste kapsalon zanzi gekanteld terwijl ik zat te luisteren naar heren die zaten te praten over borie slengen en marco van basten. 10/10 ervaring en een echte aanrader.

Vergeet alle kapsalons die je tot nu hebt gegeten. Wat je hier krijgt is NEXT NEXT level !! Ik heb kapsalon kip genomen met zanzi saus op advies van een medewerker. Ik ben terug gekomen van huis om hem persoonlijk te bedanken !!

Kapsalon was lekker, maar ik zie nu dat de medewerker me teveel geld heeft gerekend voor me kapsalon, jammer. misschien een fout, misschien had die per ongeluk het geldbedrag van me maat gegeven.

Goeie service en eten is ok. Veel variatie en het menu

Kapsalon mix besteld slechts 3 garnalen zaten er in en wat kip. Klantvriendelijkheid kennen ze niet.

Eten is top zeer lekker Maar binnen bij de shisha bar hoor ik allerlei stoeren verhalen van taxi chauffeurs en wannebe taghi s maar roken allemaal op de pof. En ze kunnen van alles regelen en ze doen van alles maar realiteit is gewoon de tram naar huis Hoop dat het goedkomt met deze narcistische grootheidswaan dromers

Beste kapsalon die ik ooit heb gegeten… Kapsalon kip had ik eerst geprobeerd. Bij me laatste bezoek heb ik zanzi kapsalon gegeten. Zanzi kapsalon bestaat uit een mix van kip en garnalen. Deze is mijn favoriet geworden. Zeker het proberen waard…

Lekker kapsalon!! Wel grappig, kwam hier een paar jaar geleden bijna elke dag en ik bestelde altijd kapsalon met curry. Nu bestaat er een speciale saus "zanzi", die heb ik genomen. Heerlijk en is gewoon curry, terwijl de eigenaar mij 4 jaar geleden raar aan keek haha!

Oef.. Zanzibar.. De 2020 lockdown heeft mij al te dik gemaakt.. maar jullie gaan echt mijn lijn verpesten met die overheerlijke kapsalons!
