I can still remember that day well. I was sitting at the grill with a few friends when a man came in. He said in Turkish that there was no room, to which a staff member replied: "I'll send them away, I'll make room for you." Apparently, he didn't know that I speak Turkish too. We were then asked to stand up so that a "regular customer" could get our spot. At the time, I found that very disrespectful. Despite this experience from a few years ago, I still eat here regularly. However, what also strikes me is that the staff member—who I believe is the owner by now—asks multiple times if I want to pay in cash. This doesn't happen just once, but often repeatedly, which I find a bit strange. The food is good, otherwise I wouldn't keep coming back, but the experiences mentioned above have left a less positive impression on me.

We visited HOC, but we are not satisfied at all. The burger was served in a baguette and the portion was very small. The meat on the burger was wafer-thin. A deposit was charged for a cup, but we eventually received our drinks in paper cups. Additionally, we had to pay separately for extras, for example €1 extra. It was also very annoying that the toilet was only accessible with a bank card. Moreover, the establishment was not clean and the general hygiene did not make a good impression. We feel that the price-quality ratio was insufficient and hope that you take these points seriously and

Placed an order, received only 1 item after waiting 3 hours. Contacting them by phone is not an option because they don't answer.

The fries tasted like nothing, the peanut sauce was cold (?), the bitterballen were lukewarm and also tasted like nothing.

Nice place to have a drink… close to the centre.
