I’m a fan of Mexican food since I met my Mexican professor at university. Since then I have been coming to Salsa shop and I really like this location. The portions were large, flavours are delicious and the service personnel are great. I recommend and keep up the excellent standard.

This place charges money for a small paper (!) bag. The management is very rude, although they are rquired by law to accept cash payment they flatout refuse. The hygiene in the restaurant, especially the toilets, leaves much to be desired. In the past this was a relaxed place with good healthy food, but it has degraded to a stingy, indifferent fast food joint with a cheap franchise place athmosphere. Will not visit again.

La tienda de salsa solía ser una opción relajada de comida saludable, pero desde corona rechazan el pago en efectivo, lo que es un problema para mí, ya que no tengo una cuenta bancaria holandesa. Hoy he tenido una discusión decepcionante con el gerente sobre esto, y aunque señalé que la ley les exige aceptar efectivo, ella se negó basándose en la política de la empresa. Si algo es requerido por la ley debe ser el final de la discusión IMHO. También los baños son asquerosos y el guacamole se ha vuelto exorbitantemente caro. No iré allí de nuevo. Por suerte hay muchas alternativas en la zona.

Nice staff, friendly, helpful the first time

Got the worst food poisoning of my life after eating one burrito (2-3 hours later). Sadly I won't be coming back

17-04-25 around 19:00. The food was good, however the staff was rather disappointing. During the order the guy was not really pleasant and it looked like he was not interested in helping customers. He even got grumpy when new customers walked into the restaurant. We got our food and we were seated opposite the pick up area. The lady who was working there had (what it looked like) her boyfriend or date in there with her. She was constantly touching his face and what it looked like ‘she was plugging his eyebrows’…. She continued to touch his face with the same gloves that she wore to serve customers food. The scene was just unprofessional and a little gross too.

Staff is very nice and the food is generally very good. Atmosphere is ok I guess, don't really care too much about that. BUT, a few weeks ago I got the worst food poisoning in my entire life. I am sure that it was food poisoning as I did not eat anything else that night and exactly 8 hours after I ate my favorite chicken burrito all hell broke loose and I had been feeling fine all day and all week. I actually found it to taste a bit odd when I ate it, think it had something to do with the beans... So unfortunately I really am not coming back, even if it probably was just a one time thing.

Delicious food. Especially the barbacoa meat and the authentic Mexican hot sauces were TO DIE FOR. Definitely recommended (and also affordable)🤭

Placed an order during my work lunch break. Unfortunately, not everything was delivered. It can happen, so we called the company and offered our "money back", but our colleague during the break has no use for this. We indicated that we still wanted to receive the order. That wasn't possible!!! The only solution offered was; place a new order, PAYING AGAIN SERVICE COSTS AND DELIVERY COSTS, which will not be refunded or refunded in full. When we indicated that we did not want this, the lady on the phone said that these are the only 2 options! Doesn't seem like an option to me, but poor service. Too bad about this situation, because this was my first order and I will certainly NOT order again

The spanish woman working there was on her phone with the headphones on in the kitchen we had to call her a couple of times to get her attention and then when she actually did she was very rude and gave me almost rotten lettuce plus charging extra for it. I am a regular customer and such treatment is not acceptable

Today we ate for the second time in this nice place. The ladies helped me a lot in making a choice and I was able to eat a delicious chicken burrito! It tasted fresh and well seasoned, the store looked clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks ladies! Until the next one.

The burritos are filled differently for each employee. Sometimes it is nicely filled and well mixed and other times smaller and dry.

I like the place, I always get a burrito bowl. Nice to speak French with the French guy, always smiling.

Toen wij bij Salsa Shop aankwamen werden met een hartelijke groet verwelkomd en kregen we alle tijd om te bestellen. We hadden onze keuzen gemaakt en een medewerker had ons kosteloos laten dineren. Echt een geweldige ervaring bij Salsa Shop!!!

Verschrikkelijke tent. Miste wat bij onze thuis bezorgd bestelling en de enige twee opties zijn iets EXTRA bestellen of een refund. Er was geen optie om het eten na te bezorgen. Super raar. Kregen een vrouw aan de lijn die meerdere keren moest lachen en zuchtend de telefoon op nam. Meerdere keren gevraagd om iemand anders aan de telefoon met een andere optie, maar dat kon allemaal niet. Werd gegooid op “we are all humans”, maar uiteindelijk werd hun probleem, ons probleem waardoor we ons eten niet hebben gekregen. Uiterst onbeschoft personeel en eten was ook niet zoals bij andere salsa shops.

Mijn eerste bezoek hier en ik werd ik ontzettend goed geholpen. Omdat ik niet bekend was met mexicaans eten, nam een vriendelijke serveerster de tijd om alles uit te leggen en gaf ze me ook nog eens suggesties voor gerechten die ik kon nemen. Heerlijk gegeten! Ik kom hier zeker vaker terug. Absoluut een aanrader!

No vayas aquí si puedes ir a cualquier otro lugar con mejor comida y buen servicio. Pedí un burrito pero tenía queso a pesar de que soy alérgica al queso y hice un comentario al respecto y no seleccioné ningún producto que contenga leche. Después de que me di cuenta de que había queso en ella y llamé dijeron que lo siento estaba tan ocupado, así que estábamos en un apuro. Puedes venir a nuestra tienda cuando te apetezca y conseguir un burrito sin queso gratis con una bebida. Escribiremos su nombre. Pero después de que llamé hoy (8 semanas después) dijeron que no, no hacemos eso. No hay excusa o vamos a resolverlo; solo eso .. vergüenza de ti

Rude employees, unwilling to make an effort.

Mi hermano recomendó este lugar y estoy feliz de que fuimos : ) Como vegetariana, me alegré con el burrito vegetal. Era lleno, fresco y equilibrado. Las verduras a la parrilla necesitan un poco más de sabor, pero eran buenas por sí solas. Recomiendo este lugar si quieres algo diferente o una comida rápida pero fresca sobre la marcha.

Food is served semi cold, after asking if it can be made warm, there is no option. But there is an oven in the kitchen and 2 toaster machines. When providing food, it is expected that it can be taken without a bag

I went here for dinner with my girlfriend for the first time, and I really liked it, the service was quick, the staff is friendly. Case is neat. You get a generous portion with food. So definitely recommended for Mexican!

I really enjoyed my experience at salsa shop today. Indeed the team working there made my stay very warm. The little guy at the back kept making conversation with me in a very friendly manner. I also really liked the home made lemonade.

DO NOT ORDER HERE IF YOU NEED GLUTEN FREE FOOD! Half the time when you order a corn tortilla they give you wheat tortilla so this is NOT a safe place for people with gluten allergy. The food is good but clearly the staff is not trained enough.

Delicious burritos that are absolutely recommended!

It is not 100% Mexican food, but I recommend the carnitas tacos that are very similar to Mexican ones, the habanero chili sauce is very good, the prices are affordable and it is a good option if you are craving something similar to Mexican food. I must also say that the employees served very well, keep up the good work.

I received extremely poor service from the attendant, who came into the kitchen laughing behind my back and making comments. I wouldn't go back!

The salsa shop is always good and never disappoints! Sometimes the waiting time is a bit long, but other than that it's actually fine!

Food was all cold, watery and tasted awful. Service was rubbish too! While the miserable lady was serving my partner someone else came into the store and got served before me despite me standing at the counter!

Vandaag voor de eerste keer hier. Even wennen hoe het werkt, maar dat gaat snel: zelf samenstellen van je menu met hulp vd verkoper.. Heerlijk eten!

Niet te eten, zijn erg achteruit gegaan. Eten is zoutig en niet schoon. Nooit meer!!!! Zelfs de groentes kan je niet eten door de hoeveelheid zout. Nemen bestellingen niet serieus op, verkeerde bestellingen ontvangen. En is allesbehalve hygiënisch. Wij hebben het miet opgegeten en zijn weggegaan.

Wij bestellen regelmatig via Uber eats. Heerlijk eten, vers gemaakt en altijd genieten!

Eten is wel oké, lekker maar weinig authentiek. Bediening geeft je nou niet echt het idee welkom te zijn, interieur al een decennium compleet ongewijzigd.

Ik heb daar vandaag voor de 10e keer gegeten en vond de hele plaats tot vandaag leuk. Ze hebben het personeel geroteerd en dit meisje is helemaal niet aardig, de voedselbehandeling was niet voldoende, het resultaat was koud en gekruid eten. Het werd ook niet goed verstaan, hij sprak erg snel en er stonden geen mensen in de rij. Ze hebben de gootsteen bovenaan verwijderd. Ik zal erover nadenken om terug te gaan, omdat de kwaliteit van eten en service echt is verslechterd

Went there to grab a burrito to take away. The size of the burrito is ok, but could be bigger considering the not very cheap price of 14 euros. The taste was decent and the service was kind.
