Recently returned and again ordered the tuna tacos with guacamole. The taste of the guacamole was good, but for a small sauce container I think the amount they charge is too high. Furthermore, the tacos were not as before. It had tuna salad on it which was very watery. Previously, the tuna was much drier and tastier with the other toppings. Very unfortunate that this has changed. Furthermore, you must be careful that you receive the complete order instead of part of it. Furthermore, friendly staff. But it's a shame that the dish has been adjusted. So for me it will be something different next time.

Delicious food. The burito was huge, I couldn't eat it ;) The tacos mix was fantastic. The best churros in the Netherlands. We were served by Alicja - a Pole and a boy from Venezuela, I don't remember the name - sorry, smiling, cheerful, working efficiently. We will definitely come back :)

Wow, I read the opinions and changing the service has done a lot of good. A plate of tacos as an appetizer for two people. And then a burrito, I could barely fit it, pulled beef - delicious, I'll take chicken again, the vege version with jack fruit is too much for a meat-eating guy, but it's extra for tacos as an appetizer. Quick and efficient, tacos and tortillas straight from the hot plate are great.

Regular drinks spot during the week and the best way to end the weekend with some colleagues. Always greeted kindly by a nice guy, fast service and the food is top quality.

The nachos with chicken and guacamole are deliciously crispy, with tender chicken and fresh guacamole. Perfectly balanced! The burrito with pulled chicken and rice has tender meat, well-seasoned rice and a soft tortilla. Top! The service was fast, friendly and attentive. A great experience and definitely recommended!

I checked the comments from earlier and I have no idea where all of those people saw impolite service. Girls working there are always smiling and have amazing knowledge about allergens in their food. Gluten free people can feel safe with blondie on cash register. My partner never had problems with food recommended by her and he has serious gluten intolerance. Also people who claim food there is bad probably are the same ones who don’t like spicy. Man, going to Mexican and expecting it to be bland is like going to Chinese and wanting potatoes instead of rice. Stfu and order more hot sauce to your nachos because it’s great. Keep going guys!

Really not edible. I had tuna taco. The taco was 2 mini wraps thrown straight from the plastic packaging onto the plate, not even warmed up a bit. Some canned tuna and salsa poured on top. And that for 10 euros. It makes me feel sick. There are better choices within the food halls

Super super super tasty burritos....don't understand the bad reviews at all!! Have never had a better burrito. It wasn't busy and we had to wait about 10 minutes, but it was 100% worth the wait.

Had a great experience. The taco platter was recommended by the manager and we were glad we took the chance. Furthermore, my wife and I were helped with all friendliness by the manager. We are already looking forward to the next time!

After half an hour we asked when our 4 tacos would be ready. We were looked at strangely and there was zero excuse. After half an hour we went back to the kitchen and asked for money back. We could ask for a refund via an info email address. Fortunately we got the money back, so we can spend it on food that is delivered in a good way. The first and the last time at Taqueria Lima.

Very long wait for the food (1 hour on a taco platter) and when you ask for it, you get a snarl.

The woman serving us was polite and the kitchen/facilities all looked very clean. However, as other reviews point out, this has to be one of the worst value-for-money food options in Rotterdam. We spent €20 for four tiny tacos. Yes, they tasted pretty good but the hole burnt in our wallets left a sour taste which overrode the taco experience. At the end of our meal we shared our reflections with the server, who seemed embarrassed to reveal that she receives this complaint often. Taqueria Lima has the potential to be a great place, but the person responsible for menu pricing needs to make some serious revisions. Until then, I would actively encourage people to stay away.

Super small tacos that don’t even taste that good. Definitely not worth the price, 4 mini tacos for 17€!! The most disappointing restaurant experience that I had in Rotterdam. There are better options in the Foodhallen.

I got the jackfruit and pulled beef for 10 euro . It wasn’t a busy day at the foodhallen so I only waited 10 mins or so for my order . although the portions may be considered “small”, to me it was the perfect size so that we could sample a bunch of other options at the Foodhallen . I could not taste the difference between the jackfruit or the pulled beef . Maybe a variety of flavors would boost my review for them .

I asked for a tacos chipotle beef for 10€. They served me a two extremely tiny tacos, very disappointed!

The food was prepared quickly, and service was efficient. But the portions are tiny: for two tacos, you pay €10, and the tacos you get for that are tasty but tiny. I also ordered nachos, for €12, and this was also little more than a snack. The nachos were bland: a queso sauce with little flavour, a rather watery guacamole that also had little flavour, and jalapenos, which were not remotely spicy, but pleasant enough. Overall you can spend €22 here and still be hungry.

We had the mixed taco platter. The chicken and beef tacos were ok, the tuna version consisted of little more than canned tuna and the vegetarian jackfruit option was definetly not to our taste.

Mexican food stand at the back ofvthe Rotterdam Foodhallen. Both the beef and chicken taco's were good, unfortunately the woman working the stand was very unfriendly and/or uninterested in taken orders. Luckily the food or taco's that we tried were good.

Unfortunately, the burritos where not available for lunch as the rice was still in the rice cooker at 01:00pm. The tacos were quite small and 2 for 9€ gave me rather the feeling that I pay for the location rather than the food. It was certainly spicy enough. Unfortunately, I was still hungry after the 2 tacos still.

Das Essen ist sehr gut und hat genügend Schärfe. Das Essen wurde sehr schnell zubereitet. Ich kann das Essen empfehlen. Die junge Dame schaut etwas traurig drein und könnte gern netter sein.

Do not understand the bad reviews had the tacos, and they where absolute delicious. Definitely will come back!

Delicious food!! I ate a beef burrito, my companion the taco platter. Also love the concept of the Food hallen, each person can choose their favorite kitchen ^^ I used my own metal cutlery btw, the wooden for broke the second bite :-)

I lived a good 2 years in México, been all around and can say these tacos don't have much to do with the taste of a Mexican taco. I tried the pulled chicken, which is not something authentic. But the taste was fine for wat it was. I think the sauce is too spicy for most Dutch people, who in general can't really tolerate spicy food. For me, too expensive for what you (don't) get. When I asked for a lime/lemon for the tacos, which is a basic for tacos, the girl looked as if I asked something very strange. They also didn't have limes. Strange. Don't really get the name 'Lima' for a Mexican place either.

Burrito with 70% tasteless white rice, very little flavor.

Om heerlijk Mexicaanse Streetfood te proeven hoef je gelukkig niet helemaal naar Mexico. Taqueria Lima - een Food Stand in de Foodhallen Rotterdam, aan de Wilhelmina kade op de Kop van Zuid. Een plek die je niet mag missen wanneer je in Rotterdam Zuid bent. Na een vakantie in Mexico en veel kraampjes geprobeerd te hebben, kan ik vol overtuiging zeggen dat de taco’s en nacho’s bij Taqueria Lima verbluffend gelijkwaardig zijn aan de foodstalletjes in Mexico zelf. De ambiance in de Foodhallen is gezellig, vooral op de vrijdagavond. Het weekend ingaan onder het genot van Mexicaanse hapjes en biertjes was een groot succes en voelde als een echte fiesta. De menu’s zien fotogeniek uit ( heel belangrijk anno 2022 ) en smaken naar meer. Desondanks wilden we ruimte bewaren voor churros als toetje. De churros zijn hier overheerlijk. Goed warm, niet te zoet, met een lekker bakje Americano erbij was het relaxed natafelen. De koffie en thee hebben we besteld bij een andere stand in de foodhallen, maar dat gaat soepeltjes door de QR bestelmethode. Taqueria Lima vonden wij erg leuk om met een grotere groep nogmaals te doen, vanwege de laagdrempeligheid, en tegelijkertijd toch het gevoel te hebben echt een avondje uit geweest te zijn onder het genot van gevarieerde hapjes en drankjes ipv de standaard borrelhapjes op de vrijmibo :) Sinds ons uitje bij Taqueria Lima gaat ons team regelmatig terug, dus wat ons betreft een echte aanrader. Pas wel op, de Churros zijn verslavend …

Niet begrijpend buitenlandse dame die zo maar iets aanslaat 3 keer vertellen dat t niet klopt uiteindelijk gefrustreerd de wraps die alleen zout waren gegeten

Tacos were soft and soggy and had way too much sauce. The fillings (we tried the pulled chicken, beef, and the veggie ones) were very spicy and salty. The guacamole seemed to be from a squeeze bottle. Overall: very disappointing.

With a California taqueria as my primary point of comparison, this among the closer experiences I've found so far, but doesn't really hit the spot on flavor and texture, and it's a bit pricey for the portions IMO. Would give a 3,5 if possible.

Totally hopeless I'm afraid and it breaks my heart that I've given 2 stars for the food. The tacos were soggy and the four toppings (€16) were too salty and, well, soggy which made it difficult to eat without everything dropping onto the tray. Shockingly it cost €1.00 for a few pieces of jalapenos. An extra star for the kind, friendly lady working behind the counter

Toppings are good but uses cheap tortillas. Quality of the tortillas are bad if you know how tortillas should actually taste like. For a tortilla restaurant, they should invest in better ones

Afhalen? Vergeet het maar. Enig aanwezige personeelslid heeft het te druk? Kom over 10 minuten maar terug. Ja en dan? Personeelslid heeft het te druk. Schandalig dus en gewoon failliet laten gaan. Schofterig gedrag en niet eens excuus. Zit wel goeie snackbar dichtbij als alternatief...

Great variety of Mexican food with fresh ingredients. Plus, the atmosphere is very relaxed and staff is friendly. Nice tacos, great cheese nachos with guacamole😍 - definitely try them! You can’t fail.

Echt hele lekkere beef taco's gegeten. Helemaal niet lang op hoeven wachten. Heerlijk als snack voor bij de borrel.
