Best Salsa shop location I’ve been to. Employee Kerem was the most helpful guy. He carefully guided me through my order as I was a bit indecisive, but he explained everything in detail.

This cost 50€ today Completely inedible and contaminated. Through Uber eats. I do realise drivers can be useless, however: When I called and asked if I could order new food as I’m not even sure what happened to the food (how does this happen?) and come over to the restaurant to pick up a new order they said they couldn’t do it and “it doesn’t work like that” Next time at least make sure you put it in a package that’s delivery proof. Such a shame.

Stopped in, exhausted from being tourists. We ordered from the auto menu when we could have just gone through the line-up. Tacos were decent (esp the flour tortillas), beef bowl generous and tasty, loaded nachos OK, and the quesadilla had more spicy meat than cheese (a better bang for the euro but not authentic). Really terrific were the 4 Cholula flavors all over the shop. Staff were very nice and patient. Not a lot of seating, only one 4-top, so eat and move on. They did have a toilet but no soap ?? *As Americans, we're pretty critical of "Mexican" and usually just bypass all European attempts whatsoever and focus on other cuisines. But Salsa Shop gave a top notch effort.

The food is very fresh and delicious and the people are very kind.

They say they are open until 10:00 PM, but when I walked into the store at 8:25 PM, I was sent away with “we are not taking any more orders,” even though they were clearly still processing an online order.

Today i had a wrap! A very good one.

I took food for take away, it was 9 pm and half of the ingredients were sold out even though I could buy them and pay from the tablet where you order and pay. The tacos were almost empty. The only good thing was the burrito. This place, chain is going down hill big time. It used to be one of my favorite place. Not anymore and the staff is always on a whatever attitude which is so annoying.

The English-speaking girl was very nice, but the other one was unfriendly, irritated, and difficult to understand. The tacos she made were cold, hard, poorly topped, and mostly filled with a cold mountain of lettuce as the icing on the cake. The other tacos and tortillas made by the English-speaking girl were otherwise fine.

Two people behind the counter waved me unkindly toward a screen to order. There are plenty of other places nearby where you can get a good meal and receive friendly service.

Should be renamed ‘Salsa Sh*t’ I’ve eaten at this place twice now, which makes me complicit in my own disappointment. These are, without question, the saddest burritos I’ve ever experienced. Cold. Limp. Spiritually empty. This is what happens when Dutch people try to do Mexican flavour: there is none. No heat, no depth, no joy, just a beige approximation of food that once heard about spices second hand. Even the hot sauce can’t save it. It’s like pouring personality on cardboard. And charging extra for guacamole is such a cynical, opportunistic cash grab. It’s less “fast casual” and more “how much disappointment can we monetise per customer?” This place feels like a trust fund branding exercise that forgot to include taste. Slick interiors, neon signs, absolutely no payoff. What they’re serving has nothing to do with salsa, and everything to do with regret.

there should be technique in the folding and wrapping. not just fold 4 flaps of the tortilla together towards the middle, juice leaking. also there should be technique in the wrapping with foil, again, so no juice leaks. asked if i want lettuce, i look at the lettuce; it is brown, wilted, chunky, not freshly shredded. was disappointed with the amount of meat for a a 12.95 Euro burrito, hello.

I went to the store to make my own burrito, and when I got home, you switched mine with another one. A vegetarian burrito with a meat burrito. I ate the first few bites before realizing this huge mistake. It's truly unacceptable. How could this happen?

Expensive, the borito was literally cold and so was the meat. My girlfriend ate a spicy borito and felt very nauseous afterwards. The lady who made the borito was grumpy and not customer-friendly. The male colleague, on the other hand, was sweet, greeted us immediately upon entry, and was reasonably calm. There wasn't really any atmosphere, but oh well. Too expensive and not worth repeating.

I have seen these shops around Amsterdam and while walking along Kinkerstraat I decided to stop in for lunch. I was very happy with my burrito . It was very large so enough for two meals and I really liked the flavors. There was spice (which I don’t find so often in the NL. Finally they also had Modelo Negra.

A disappointment. Friendly staff, but the food quality was poor. I took a few bites and immediately got a stomach ache. The price-to-performance ratio is questionable, but perhaps that's par for the course these days. I don't normally post reviews, but this was very disappointing. I hope this helps someone.

I am always skeptical of Mexican restaurants so far away from Mexico. Ingredients usually are lacking to make a great meal. The sign outside of this place says "burritos and tacos" so I went in to investigate. I saw the items behind the glass and smiled. I spoke in Spanish to the manager and found out he is from Mexico. It was before noon so I decided to walk around and come back. For me burritos and tacos are only eaten after noon time. I asked for a barbacoa burrito with rice, beans, corn, tomatoes with onions, cheese, lettuce and the hottest hot sauce. I always like eating my food very spicy hot. I was warned that the hot sauce was too spicy but this is Amsterdam. How hot can it be. Boy was I in for a surprise. The spice was too much but I ate my burrito with some tears in my eyes. The Mexican manager warned me and I didn't listen. My stomach burned for a little while and my pride was put in its place. Next time I will really listen. Overall I really liked my burrito and I recommend this restaurant for a nice Mexican/Holland experience.

Friendly staff, but the burritos seem to be getting smaller and less flavorful. Tables weren't cleaned.

I had the chicken burrito, it honestly didn't come close to what a mexican burrito should be. The flavour was very bland, a lot of the filling was still cold. The whole wrap was soggy. If you look at the picture you can just see it misses spices, sauce, etc. Even the cheese is still solid haha. I really do not recommend. If you would just have seasoned the chicken, let it marinate in a proper sauce, and grill the burrito so it is crispy, that would already have been a huge difference. It was delivered very fast, so that is not an excuse for the cold/soggyness.

A chicken burrito with lemonade goes from € 13, already expensive, to € 15. I think that visiting this establishment once every three months is more than enough. I can make my own chicken burrito at home for less than € 5. Also the lemonade doesn't taste as before. Before it was real lemonade made from lemons, now its made out of a chemical powder. Tastes aweful.

Today I received excellent service from a Dutch guy working inside. I have a lot of respect for him! He was friendly, professional, and did his job neatly and attentively. He helped me choose my meal and made sure I truly enjoyed it. A fantastic employee and a true hero! Thanks for the great service! A true soldier!

If you want a wet burrito dripping water and cold food as out of the freezer then this is the place to go.

The staff seemed friendly when I ordered and was served, but next time I'd appreciate it if no one said "I hate that dirty faggot" about a colleague (?). I grew up in a less-than-respectable neighborhood myself, and I know that slang words are sometimes used in a different way, but that comment really rubbed me the wrong way.

Extremely stingy shop. You pay €7 for a quesadilla and €4 for a 0.33 liter drink. The staff are unfriendly and charge extra for every kind of drink. The air conditioning is aimed directly at customers and set to below zero, guaranteeing a cold. Even the restroom, which had no soap or tissues refilled and whose sink was smaller than a bowl, cost €1. The food was reasonably good.

Horrible manager attacks costumers instead of diffusing the situation. These days they will give anyone a manager title

Ordered 2 bowls with guacamole and nachos. First delivery only came the bowls, without the guac so I had to order the nachos again. Way too few nachos and very soggy.
