Everything was absolutely fantastic! We were a group of eight and it was great. It's true that the food took a little while to arrive, but that's understandable since there was only one man serving and no one else around. Aside from that, the food was freshly made and everything was delicious. He spoke Spanish, and overall everything was excellent. Plus, there was Mexican Spanish music playing in the background, and the bathroom, although small, was very clean.

Fantastic discovery! Eating great food away from home is always appreciated, but finding this level of flavor on the banks of Amsterdam's canals has been a real surprise.

We ordered nachos with guacamole as an appetizer from the waitress. Then the owner arrived, who overheard us saying we were supposed to have nachos with cheese. This man, with terrible taste, put the nachos with cheese on the table. Even when we complained to the waitress, she excused herself by saying that he was the owner and couldn't do anything. It was a very unpleasant experience; I don't recommend it. The poor waitress was speechless with embarrassment, but the customer service was awful. The owner is of Indian origin.

The service was friendly and the food was delicious. The portions were a bit small if you were very hungry.

We visited this place for lunch today. Would definitely recommend. Lovely staff super friendly. The food was nothing fancy, it tasted like a home cooked meal which is amazing considering we’re currently travelling around Europe. Very tasty full of flavour. 5+ stars!!!

I'm truly impressed. Not only are the prices for the food very fair, but the friendly customer service also delighted me. When I wanted my food to go, the kind server wrapped it in aluminum foil to keep it warm. I found that particularly thoughtful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

A huge disappointment. If you're looking for a real Mexican restaurant, avoid this place. The dishes seemed to have come straight from the freezer and were sorely lacking in flavor. Terrible value for money.

I am from New Mexico and this food was good! I am glad I didn't get anything with beans though because I was told they were kidney beans and not pinto or black beans.

We had chicken soup with lime and we liked it a lot. We also had stuffed tortillas (No. 27 - one portion = 2 tortillas). There was plenty of food and it was great. The atmosphere was authentic Mexican bistro, clean everywhere. Absolute satisfaction.

Most Mexican dishes that people are aware of come with rice and beans. Not here, beans are a side (+5 EUR). Even though the server knows about it, they cannot even fill in the burrito with the beans side. This is not really Mexican. Also, rather than nachos, burritos come with fries. This is more like a Kebab place.

Definitely the worst mexican food I've ever had. There was celery, peas, and ground beef in the enchilada. The salad had a sesame asian dressing? The salsa was just canned tomato sauce. Plain white rice with no beans. Mojito and cuba libre were sickeningly sweet. I would struggle to call it Mexican food. I don't understand how this place has 4 stars, especially for the price. Also the service was mid to bad.. it took 10 minutes to get the check and we were only 1 of 3 tables seated.

Finding good Mexican food is Europe is pretty much an impossible feat as an American used to authentic food. Our waiter was also the only cook, so wait times were pretty long. Sadly I was not impressed by the food :( I’d look elsewhere

The food is excellent quality, the owner is a truly wonderful person and is also an excellent cook, we found it by chance walking down the street and simply smelling the smells and flavors that came out I was immediately struck and I went in I ate the chicken with rice and salad and it was EXCELLENT, wow, I recommend it to everyone costing €20 per person for lunch without reservation and excellent food hot and ready in a few minutes

10/10 Food - simply delicious! Service - excellent! Atmosphere - very cute with cool music. The owner is incredibly nice! He talked to us like friends! He recommended a few places and things to do. And the strawberry margaritas are incredibly delicious!!

We ordered takeout and were really disappointed. It was very expensive, and the waiter was quite pushy and irritating. The food was not terrible, but it definitely wasn’t good either, especially for the price and the small portion size. The rice was overcooked and tasted bad. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviews: the food tastes very poor! The presentation is terrible and has absolutely nothing in common with the food served in Mexico City or many other restaurants specializing in Mexican cuisine. I ordered a quesadilla and received a greasy tortilla stuffed with just any kind of meat. I'm very disappointed 😞 I walked in by accident and was shocked by what I found. At first, I thought it was a mistake!!! Since when are quesadillas served with fries and lettuce? Above all, they lacked the staples of Mexican cuisine: fresh cilantro and sauces! I think the price was definitely too high; I don't recommend it. This review doesn't refer to the staff; they were polite and courteous.

We were kicked from the place because of our origins. And guess what? It was from an indian! We were 3 people and only 1 wanted to eat so we sat on a table of 2 chairs. He wanted everyone to get food or leave. He was so racist and rude!! And he insulted arabs when we were leaving. I dont recommend this place at all!

Quick, and honestly, I was surprised by the flavor of my first bite of my burrito. The meat was well marinated, and even though I prefer the casadias, I asked for the rice on the side, not in it.

The guy serving us was so incredibly rude. Rolling his eyes sighing and when we had a question about something on the menu was so rude and angry in his response. Food was mid. The margarita was the saving grace. Wouldn’t recommend purely due to the way we were treated by staff.

I had dinner at this Mexican restaurant with a friend and we were truly satisfied. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming and familiar, making you feel at ease right away. The service was superb: the lady who looked after us was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, ready to accommodate my every request with a smile. The food was rich in flavor and decidedly authentic… be prepared for the spicy food! The tacos and nachos were truly delicious, especially with the guacamole. I definitely recommend this place; I'd love to go back!

Very disappointing experience. The food isn’t really Mexican at all. They offer tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and burritos, but they’re basically the same thing every time, just folded differently in a tortilla. And somehow it's always folded and done wrong - for example the quesadilla was literally a bunch of stuff thrown on a plate covered with a folded tortilla? Very weird. There’s no real flavor difference, and it feels like no effort was made to make the dishes tasty. Their soup was about 7 euros and tasted exactly like the little instant kind you make in a mug. Zero fresh ingredients. On top of that, the service wasn’t very friendly. Overall, it was a letdown, and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for proper Mexican food. There are better options in the area.

An excellent experience, the burrito I had was very good, price was quite good, especially when factoring in the restaurant's location. Hospitality was excellent, our server was amazing, was kind, thoughtful and helpful. Would definitely visit and support this local business again.

We went to a small restaurant on the street in Amsterdam specifically to eat Brito, which is considered the best food in the world, but the food did not have the flavor I expected. Although we ordered several different dishes, I did not like any of them. The meat was cut very large and tough, and the seasoning and sauce I expected from a Mexican cuisine were not what I wanted.

It's delicious, and every table has a power outlet where you can charge your phone. Very tasty, and every table has 2 sockets, I easily charged my phone. I recommend it.

It was as good as Mexican food is gonna get for being in Europe. That being said g said it was good. Some stuff had a little curry flare to it which was the unauthentic taste of it. But it was still good and the price was good. I will be back next time!
