Salsa Shop in Zuidas

I had the best experience coming for the first time in a salsa shop. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Food was also tasty with Halal meat options. Took a burrito bowl with spicy shredded beef. Loved it.

A very bad experience. The food arrived cold, both the burrito bowl and the quesadilla. The burrito bowl had no meat and hardly any toppings, just some rice. The quesadillas had no cheese, which is simply unacceptable. When I called, I was told they "couldn't do anything" and that I had to resolve it with Uber Eats, even though Uber Eats doesn't handle these kinds of errors. Poor service, no accountability, and food that was completely different from what you ordered. Absolutely do not order from here; it's a waste of money and guaranteed frustration.

Really enjoyed the burrito! It was fresh, flavorful, and packed with the right mix of ingredients. The wrap was soft, the filling perfectly seasoned, and every bite tasted great. Definitely worth coming back for!

Have eaten here numerous times before. Eating in is always great, especially with those really nice spicy sauces, but ordering delivery is apparently a disaster. It was, at least, yesterday the 29th of september. When the food came, the majority of the ingredients, including those paid extra for and those that made up the main part of the meal were missing and the meat was bone-dry. Not the end of the world, but we were starving and hypoglycemic after an entire day of physical labor. Yesterday’s employees had our number, they could have called to inform us they were out of ingredients so we could have ordered elsewhere. They chose to scam instead. Luckily, when I went to the actual store today to complain, they were understanding and prepared me a new bowl with the right ingredients this time, which I gave to my boyfriend and he loved it. 5 stars for the food and for the employees that worked there today. However, I definitely do not recommend ordering online through Just Eat from here: there are simply far too many complaints.

First time ordering a burrito and the service helped me amazingly well! And the food was just near perfection.

Mediocre veggie burrito (takeout) with cold filling, little flavor, and you pay extra for a scoop of avocado (it cost €13.50). I thought I was getting a tasty, healthy burrito, but this is just fast food.

Salsa Shop offers delicious, fresh meals that you can create yourself. The vegetarian options are surprisingly tasty and definitely worth trying. The staff is friendly and helpful, which makes the experience that much more enjoyable! :)

Food was good but a bit expensive for the quantity. Service was great the guy helped be pick the best option. Spice levels were okay as well. I think their beef was the best, second the chicken and I didn’t like the pork at all.

Terrible burrito. If you want to spend 15€ on a cold, low quality burrito go ahead. They also don’t accept cash,at this point just get a sandwich at albert heijn, it’s right next to it.

Delicious shredded beef burrito. We choose what we want inside, and it's a very large size at a decent price. Much better and cheaper for a quick snack than fast food.

We enjoyed our food very much- like a treat after we finished our trip in Europe. We felt like home with the spicy food as we are from India. The taste, quantity, atmosphere was all top notch. Do try it when u come here.

This is a carnitas burrito with salsa verde (€12.95), the salsa was less spicy than I expected and the carnitas were just a little dry. The overall taste is not mind blowing, but still a nice snack after a geeking session at my thermal physics exam. Yunobo will return to try the barbacoa with habanero sauce.

One of the best salsa bowls I’ve ever eaten!!! I chose the ‘very spicy salsa’ and as an Indian I can tell you, it was really spicyyyyy. The box had lots of different and fresh flavours and it made my day. I had the chicken one.

I was really looking forward to trying Salsa Shop, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to poor customer service. The staff member who took our order was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start. When she opened the lid for the tortillas, she noticed there was only one corn tortilla available but didn’t bother to ask if we preferred corn or flour. When I asked if I could get corn tortillas, she responded in a dismissive manner, stating there was only one available. I then asked if they could make more or if there were any in the back, and instead of responding politely, she made a face and walked away. When she returned, she started cooking the tortillas but had a visibly annoyed and disturbed expression the entire time. As she prepared my husband's order, I noticed one of the tortillas completely fell apart, yet she still proceeded to place it in the box. Half of the tortilla had crumbled, meaning we were only getting half a taco. When I kindly asked if she could replace it, she let out an exasperated sigh and made another unpleasant expression. At that point, my husband decided he didn’t want anything. I noticed her attitude wasn’t improving, so I told her we were fine without the order and would just leave. I even asked if something was wrong, as it genuinely seemed like she didn’t want to help us. She responded with a sharp and unfriendly, “I’m fine, it’s fine.” What made this experience even more frustrating was that it was only 2:45 PM—nowhere near closing time. I would understand if they were about to close and things were winding down, but that wasn’t the case. There was no reason for the rude attitude or lack of effort in preparing our food properly. This experience was disappointing, and unfortunately, we won’t be returning. Customer service is just as important as the food itself, and this visit left a bad impression.

I used to be a big fan of salsa shop and recall a time (couple of years ago) where the food portion was big enough that the lid was squeezing the food. I ordered one a month ago and the food was less than half of what it used to be. It such as shame that the price went up and the quantity went less than half. Although I understand the increased cost and I am fine with a higher price, it is definitely not okay to decrease the quantity by more than half. Feels like a scam.

It is very annoying that the size of the portions depends on the mood of the server... sometimes it is all good, other times the burrito is not even filled to it's half...

Great burrito, it had everything, meat, guacamole, sauce, lettuce, tomato and to top it off some salsa sauce. I definitely recommend getting something here. Quite a bit pricey but it's totally worth it!!

I had a lovely burrito with chicken here. The portions are plenty and the taste is fairly nice. The burrito got served very quickly, which is verg nice when you're on the road. The staff was also very kind and friendly to me. I would recommend going here if you wanna have a quick bite that's healthier than Mac Donalds and for not too much money.

After a long flight, I arrived in Amsterdam and was craving some food. My friends took me to this particular Salsa shop. I ordered my food and all was well and I ordered Corona 0.0. the guy at the counter said : I can not give this to you. I asked him : why not? He said: I can not give this to you from my manager. I asked him again: why can't you give this to me? He raised his shoulders and that's it. I tried to make eye contact at the manager who turned her back towards me and walked to the kitchen. I was shocked. As a hospitality person, receiving this kind of fague customer service is rather dissapointing while the food was so good.. it had me and my friends shocked.. your concept is so great but the service just killed it.

Went there yesterday for dinner. Lazy staff only had one person working while two others goofing off didn’t care about customers waiting. Waited long enough and left. Avoid this place. Lazy kids running or messing the place up

The lady who was cooking dropped a hair into my burrito, removed it and gave burrito to me. Don't know, but maybe people with long hair can tie it when cooking?

Lovely place. We had finished a day of touring and were three very hungry tourists after exiting the Metro. Lot of other eateries were closed. Decided to try this place and so glad we did. Ordered the burrito bowls (Vegan, Chicken) and couple of quesadillas. Very tasty and so nice. The young man who took our order and attended to us was so sweet, friendly and nice. Overall a great experience!

Had a few tacos and quesadillas yesterday, I ordered it online arrived on time, just to let me know they didn't have the order ready. They redid my order from scratch, some stuff was not available. And about to pay, they found out my order was actually made ready by some other staff and just by the counter.. so left with my ready order at the end. The food was eh, sauce great, but would benefit to be a more melted for the tacos. Rather bland. Quesadilla was more of a square wrap put in a panini press. A bit disappointed but for the price, it was correct

service was good but the burrito i got was one of the worst and most overpriced I've had

Just ordered a bowl to go with white rice, black beans, chicken, pico de Gallo, a medium spicy salsa and lettuce. I wanted something fast and this was fast! I was in and out in less than 3 minutes. Worker was extremely friendly and even quickly explained how the different salsas tasted. (Flavor profile sweet or tangy.) If I come through here again, I will be back! It's delicious as I eat this in the train home after having to have an empty stomach for blood work at the hospital all day!
