A complete disaster This was by far the worst meal I've ever eaten out. Truly a complete disaster from start to finish. The tacos were by far the worst I've ever seen or eaten. The meat looked extremely unappetizing and not at all fresh. It was kept in small boxes at the counter and looked anything but appetizing. The taste was simply disgusting – I really had the impression that the meat had been sitting there for ages. The tacos themselves were also a disaster. There was no crunch whatsoever. The soggy bread was toasted for what felt like only 20 seconds and was still just as soft and soggy afterward. Absolutely inedible for me. On top of that, the service was unfriendly, which made the whole experience even more unpleasant. The bottom line: bad food, poor preparation, unfriendly service, and overall an experience I definitely don't want to repeat. For me, it was simply a complete disaster. Based on my experience, I absolutely cannot recommend this store.

Highly overrated and insanely expensive! A complete rip off for what it’s worth! The staff try to upsell stuff or “extras” - a shredded lettuce leaf costs an extra €1 on a baseline €12.95 burrito bowl!!

Very disappointing experience. We were charged €46 for two burritos and two drinks. When we asked about the price, we were told it was because of the extra toppings, but the explanation didn't make sense to us. We also weren't given a receipt. We left with the impression that we were overcharged. Be sure to check your bill carefully and always ask for a receipt.

Once again I got 1/3 of the normal portion, as if they had cut a whole chunk off it, but this time I should at least be glad that there was actually cheese on the quesadilla. Next time I’ll walk a little further to the one on Gustav Mahlerlaan. -Nissa

Atmosphere and service were severely substandard. Unfriendly staff who seemed unmotivated. The taste was uninspired and there were a lot of flies. The staff were unhelpful and worthless.

Prompt and friendly service, great food, for eating in and taking away. Ready lightning fast. Delicious.

Good food but very unfriendly personnel. Moroccan dude just barked: ’Order number’. No gaze or hello. I’ve been there before and wasn’t any different. Its a shame because the food deserves a good service.

I usually grab a couple of quesadillas on my way home from work, and the team is always super friendly. Today they were dealing with some technical issues and it looked pretty hectic, but everyone still kept the line moving and handled it really well. Just wanted to say you all did a great job staying on top of it and providing an alternative while you had technical difficulties. Good luck with the rest of your shift — hope it goes a little smoother from here 😊

The prices vary each time, even though I order the same thing as always.

They didn’t have guac at 7.20pm.. over 2,5 hours before they close. Guy in the kitchen was just toggling his phone doing nothing

To be honest, a very bad experience at this Salsa Shop on Zuidplein. I normally always order online from Salsa Shop and that is usually always good, so I expected the same quality here. But when I arrived at the shop, it was really disappointing. There was hardly any chicken left available and it felt like there was very little choice at all. My bowl was filled, but it just wasn't what you normally get; it felt meager and not fresh at all. What bothered me most was the hygiene. Someone in the kitchen was just sneezing while working. I really don't think that is acceptable; it simply doesn't belong in a restaurant. Additionally, there was a bit of a messy atmosphere and the staff (mainly young guys) didn't come across as very professional. It just didn't give a good impression. It is a real shame, because other locations (like on Pernassusweg) are actually good and consistent. This location really needs to improve, because this just wasn't it. No repeat visit for me for the time being.

It’s okay at best. The price is high, but there is no taste at all. We tried burritos (chicken and beef), and they were completely flavorless. They don’t even have a toilet. Not recommended at all—should be avoided.

The service is horrible, they are always busy with their phones or talking between them selfs. When you come inside, they look at you and continue with their conversations. A pity because the food is nice for after work

The food is usually good, but unfortunately, the vegetables on the burrito and quesadilla were burnt and therefore inedible. I had to throw them away and boarded the train hungry.

I do not recommend this place. The staff member made fun of my accent and assumed I didn’t understand what he was saying. I questioned the reason for the laughter directed at me, and even so, it continued.

The food was cold right when we got it, we came back to ask for a new one which is uncomfortable to do because you dont want to inconvenience anyone and you feel bad as a fellow human but when my partner got there these two younger men working there were very rude and started laughing and speaking in Dutch in front of him clearly making fun of him and then handing the new food just in a bad manner. It was appreciated that we got the new slightly warmer food but the customer service was genuinely shocking which is very disappointing tbh. I thought you'd want people to come back but this attitude they had was very dismissive and unnecessary. They didnt even apologise or seem very sorry or happy to even be there so why would they care. Very disappointing again. The food was fine. Not good not bad just fine.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The food arrived ice cold, and half of the items we ordered (water and extra sauce) were missing. I called, but they kept pushing me away, even though they were open. Never order anything from them; it's a waste of money. What a scam, never seen this happen in such a nice neighborhood.

Don't go again! Portions are already ridiculously small, and then the scoops aren't even being filled all the way. Employees say the manager is deliberately pushing for smaller portions.

I had the best experience coming for the first time in a salsa shop. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Food was also tasty with Halal meat options. Took a burrito bowl with spicy shredded beef. Loved it.

A very bad experience. The food arrived cold, both the burrito bowl and the quesadilla. The burrito bowl had no meat and hardly any toppings, just some rice. The quesadillas had no cheese, which is simply unacceptable. When I called, I was told they "couldn't do anything" and that I had to resolve it with Uber Eats, even though Uber Eats doesn't handle these kinds of errors. Poor service, no accountability, and food that was completely different from what you ordered. Absolutely do not order from here; it's a waste of money and guaranteed frustration.

Really enjoyed the burrito! It was fresh, flavorful, and packed with the right mix of ingredients. The wrap was soft, the filling perfectly seasoned, and every bite tasted great. Definitely worth coming back for!

Have eaten here numerous times before. Eating in is always great, especially with those really nice spicy sauces, but ordering delivery is apparently a disaster. It was, at least, yesterday the 29th of september. When the food came, the majority of the ingredients, including those paid extra for and those that made up the main part of the meal were missing and the meat was bone-dry. Not the end of the world, but we were starving and hypoglycemic after an entire day of physical labor. Yesterday’s employees had our number, they could have called to inform us they were out of ingredients so we could have ordered elsewhere. They chose to scam instead. Luckily, when I went to the actual store today to complain, they were understanding and prepared me a new bowl with the right ingredients this time, which I gave to my boyfriend and he loved it. 5 stars for the food and for the employees that worked there today. However, I definitely do not recommend ordering online through Just Eat from here: there are simply far too many complaints.

First time ordering a burrito and the service helped me amazingly well! And the food was just near perfection.

Mediocre veggie burrito (takeout) with cold filling, little flavor, and you pay extra for a scoop of avocado (it cost €13.50). I thought I was getting a tasty, healthy burrito, but this is just fast food.

Salsa Shop offers delicious, fresh meals that you can create yourself. The vegetarian options are surprisingly tasty and definitely worth trying. The staff is friendly and helpful, which makes the experience that much more enjoyable! :)

Food was good but a bit expensive for the quantity. Service was great the guy helped be pick the best option. Spice levels were okay as well. I think their beef was the best, second the chicken and I didn’t like the pork at all.

Terrible burrito. If you want to spend 15€ on a cold, low quality burrito go ahead. They also don’t accept cash,at this point just get a sandwich at albert heijn, it’s right next to it.

Delicious shredded beef burrito. We choose what we want inside, and it's a very large size at a decent price. Much better and cheaper for a quick snack than fast food.

This is a carnitas burrito with salsa verde (€12.95), the salsa was less spicy than I expected and the carnitas were just a little dry. The overall taste is not mind blowing, but still a nice snack after a geeking session at my thermal physics exam. Yunobo will return to try the barbacoa with habanero sauce.

One of the best salsa bowls I’ve ever eaten!!! I chose the ‘very spicy salsa’ and as an Indian I can tell you, it was really spicyyyyy. The box had lots of different and fresh flavours and it made my day. I had the chicken one.

Vreselijk!! Dit heeft niks met mexicaans te maken...dit was echt afschuwelijk....ik had 3 taco's beef geen vers vlees niks! Voor 15 eur... Had 1 hap genomen van de 1e taco heb het zo de prullenbak ingedonderd! Zo slecht!!
