We are visiting Amsterdam for the first time and walked past this little restaurant. We decided to come in and order some food to take away. The gentleman who served us was so kind and friendly. The atmosphere inside the restaurant made me feel at home and calm. Id recommend anyone who is in amsterdam to pop in and take a visit!!

I'm gluten intolerant and I absolutely loved eating here! There are so many gluten-free pasta and pizza options. I ordered a pizza and it was delicious, much better than any other gluten-free pizza I've tried. Plus, the waiter who served us was very friendly and attentive, and he assured me that the gluten-free pizza was cooked in a separate oven. 100% recommended!!!

It's unassuming and easy to walk right past. We were greeted warmly right away. There were four of us, and we got a nice spot by the door. Since it was summer, we were lucky enough to have a cool breeze. The service was very quick, bringing our drinks and food to the table. The portions looked rather small, but they were filling and delicious. It was the best carbonara I've ever had. There's also a wall-mounted TV in the corner, which was constantly playing videos. (Most likely a YouTube Music subscription.) They have free Wi-Fi, and it works very well. The restroom is a bit basic, and the sink is very small, but there are artificial plants, and the overall design is very nice. Everything was charming and clean. You should know.

Terrible experience. The service was extremely slow: we had to wait 50 minutes before finally getting served! The food wasn't any better; the fries were undercooked, and the peppercorn sauce was really bad. On top of that, there was absolutely no atmosphere as we were the only customers in the restaurant. The most awkward part was the owner, who just stood frozen in front of us, staring while we ate. I do not recommend this place

We stayed three days in Amsterdam and made a point of eating here every day. Clean place, delicious food, and excellent service. I'd like to send a hug to Piter; he makes you feel at home. He's concerned about whether the food is good and very attentive! We will always come back. I recommend it!

Although we spontaneously filled almost the entire restaurant with a group of 37 people, everything was perfect. The waiter took our orders quickly and efficiently, and the kitchen conjured up high-quality dishes in no time. We are very satisfied and highly recommend San Diego to everyone!

Great place. We were received very hospitably. I can't handle too much stimulation, so I asked if the music could be turned down a bit. No problem, took the speaker off the wall and turned it down. The food was very tasty, the service was top-notch. Very friendly. Highly recommended. The photo is what my husband ate. I forgot to take a picture of the pasta carbonara 🫣

Mediocre food, definitely a tourist trap, no price for sauce but they charge it 1.9 euro. The waiter keep asking for more orders, and when he said 2 chicken wings he actually meant two plates of chicken wing dishes, so we ordered two palates of the same dish which we don't necessarily need.

Excellent place for dinner! We ordered lasagna, spaghetti bolognese, and carbonara, and everything was perfect. Everything was very well prepared and the price was fair; I recommend it.

They "legally SCAM you" on the size of the beer. Medium beer is 25cl. (4.9EUR). Large beer it's not written, I would say less than 400ml (6,9EUR)! Frozen food, worst pizza in my life in a restaurant. Decoration is nice, that's why TOURISTS (no locals) get trapped. AVOID

The waiters were not interested at all, we asked repeatedly, but they didn't even clear our empty plates. We gad to take our own plates from the kitchen. They brought garlic bread to the table, which we didn't order, and although we accepted it, there was no garlic in the bread. Other dishes were moderate, there are far more better places. No need to waste your money. REPLY TO RESTAURANT: I don't have the receipt cause we paid in cash but we definitely visited your restaurant, we paid exactly 57Euros, for a carpaccio, garlic bread(that we did not order), pizza with shrimp and wine. You had 2 waiters, one tall, one not. The door was not shut , if the person who comes in shuts it properly, so we had to close the door every time a person comes in, because the weather was too cold. We came on 27th of December, the tall waiter had cigarette outside while we waited for service. It's impossible that I made all this up. Hope I could convince you. Instead of asking for proof, you could have simply said "sorry."

Terrible experience. The food was awful: the lettuce was clearly rotten, the spaghetti was dry and tasteless, and to top it all off, the Coca-Cola was cheap, low-quality water. When we complained about the spoiled lettuce, the owner became arrogant and rude instead of apologizing. The service was appalling, the attitude arrogant, and the lack of manners. Everything was a disappointment: the food, the drinks, and the customer service. I absolutely do not recommend it.

Today wasn't my plan to have dinner at this pizzeria, but I saw a couple eating there through the window, and while I was reading the menu outside, they recommended I go in because it looked so good. I took their advice and went in to try the food. As soon as I walked in, Peter served me. He was a very calm, polite, and friendly person, and it's a pleasure to be served the way he was. As for the pizza, it was honestly one of the best I've had in a long time. I forgot to take a picture, but I'll do it next time because I'm sure I'll be back!

If you are italian and you want to get pissed off, come here. The worst italian restaurant we've been in Amsterdam. Overpriced and everything frozen, even the carpaccio! Will not come back.

We stopped by completely by chance and definitely did not regret it. The service was fast and polite, and the food was delicious. The portions were large considering the prices.

Total disappointment. Nothing is homemade. The pizza is very thin and has no flavor, even though it’s supposed to be a four-cheese pizza. The pasta was drowned in sauce and really sickening; my friend didn’t eat it. At checkout, there was no commercial gesture at all — the cashier even took the €20 bill because we were missing 70 cents in cash, something I’ve never seen before. I do not recommend this place: expensive and very mediocre.

We had dinner here while in Amsterdam, walking through the old town. The food was excellent! My steak was perfectly cooked and tender, the fries were great and the salad well seasoned and fresh. The owner served us as it was a slow December weekday and his service was attentive and yhoughful. I would highly recommend this place!

We choose this because the reviews were good and they had gluten free food. It is in a touristic area, I think you should read the reviews in that context. The restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday evening. We were not very satisfied about the quality of the pizza. You can have better somewhere else. They have glutenfree options, which was nice. But I can make better gluten free pizza myself. Service was ok; they were friendly but smoking in the door opening when receiving guests is not something you want to see in at a restaurant. It was a disappointment overall. We regret not have chosen another place.
