What a lovely service ! We felt very welcome, the waitresses were patient with us and kid friendly. The food is very tasty, great pasta quality and the quantity is there as well

Typical Apulian cuisine guaranteed! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming. The location isn't large but is well-organized. The menu is simple. For those who want authentic Apulian cuisine, this is the right restaurant. The prices are fair for Amsterdam.

I visited Santi&Santini in October 2026 and Elisa was my waitress. The food and service was excellent. We didn't have reservations however we were told that if we waited 10 minutes we could be seated. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for good vibes and good food.'

One of the best pastas I have ever had in my life. I had the Santi Special, a fresh red sauce with guanciale. If they have this…GET IT. Also, the sugo di carne was 10/10. Outstanding, authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of Amsterdam!

Small Italian restaurant. We had the braised beef pasta which was fine, but a little bland and with little meat. The tiramisu desert tasted nothing like tiramisu and was definitely pre-made/store bought. Service was fast and friendly but for the price of 24€ per dish I expected more.

Nice Pugliese restaurant serving specialties from Puglia, Italy. The highlights were the focaccia, orecchiette, and traditional meat dishes from the region. Tasty food and lovely people. I’ll definitely come again!

This was run by two lovely guys I walked in a lone and asked for a table for one, was shown to a share table with two Asians (I am brown skinned) A lady after me asked for sane - no booking, given her own table. Another guy alone, given own table Strangely these last two people were white 🥹

As a Southern Italian, tonight I genuinely felt like I was back in Italy. ❤️ The food was absolutely incredible. I had the orecchiette with sun-dried tomato cream, ricotta and almonds – simply amazing. And the spumone for dessert was an absolute dream! My son has food allergies, so he asked for a simple focaccia – and that was unbelievably good. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that show just how good a kitchen really is. But what made the evening even more special was the warmth of everyone there. The entire team was wonderful – so welcoming, kind and genuinely passionate about what they do. My son was even allowed to personally go into the kitchen and tell the chef how much he loved the focaccia. Such a lovely moment. ❤️ It wasn’t just dinner; it was a wonderful experience and one of those evenings we will remember. Thank you to the whole team for making us feel a little bit like we were in Italy tonight. Grazie di cuore for this beautiful evening! 🇮🇹❤️

An Italian restaurant specializing in orchidini. We ordered two types, one with Parmesan and the other with meat cooked for 6 hours. It was delicious, and the service from the staff was excellent, but I wish they had pizza.

A taste of Puglia -- very nice service, kind staff. Great atmosphere, not too noisy like many others restaurants in amsterdam. wine list could be a bit more extensive :) Overall good experience, will recommend.

We went to the place because of the nearly 5 Star rating, reserved a table pretty spontaneously and were able to get one for one and a half hour later. On the menu are only 2 vegetarian options and one of them was sold out at 20:30pm. The service offered to do a tomato sauce with cheese. For the prices you see on the menu one would expect to get some fancy sauce or toppings, especially to compensate for the dish that wasn’t available anymore. The result was a basic sauce with Parmesan. They did set down the price but the taste wasn’t more than homemade low effort tomato sauce (maybe even bought one’s in a glass bottle or so). My friend chose one with meat and wasn’t impressed compared to the pricing. The size of one serving is on the smaller side, so one might need to get an Appetizer. The Atmosphere was okay but near the table we were sitting, in the middle part of the room, was a closed door (not the bathroom) from which you sometimes would get a wiff of a funny smell and all in all was the place pretty small (wich can be cosy, but wasn’t) and kinda loud.

A Great Walk-In Find in Amsterdam! We walked in right off the street without a reservation and were lucky enough to get a spot! They seated us at a shared table, which ended up being a fun way to dine. The inside of the restaurant feels cozy, homey, and lively. The meatloaf was fantastic, savory, and cooked to perfection. The pasta dish was fresh, flavorful, and great for sharing. The meal flowed beautifully. We never felt rushed, but we also never had to wait around. Our server was amazing at helping us pick out the perfect wine and dishes. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

The food was top level. The attention of the staff was super nice, we felt very welcomed. I gave 4 to athmosphere because the place is a little bit small with no open windows, so a little bit lack of oxygen :) overall, I will come here again, super satisfied.

Hey there! We had the most amazing pasta with Sagu – it's totally their specialty! We also grabbed the starter of the day, which was fried shrimp and squid. It was such a nice way to kick things off!

Pasta was flavorless, average at best. Meat dish the same. Service was poor. Not sure where the hype comes from for this place. Overall the experience was disappointing and there are so many better restaurants in the area. Tourist trap for sure.

The meal options seemed rather limited. For starters, we had Quadratini di focaccia del giorno, which was genuinely delicious, and burrata that felt quite standard. Among the mains, I chose Orecchiette al sugo di carne, which I found unremarkable; the pasta was slightly too al dente for my taste, and the sauce was nearly absent. My friend ordered the polpetone, which I had considered but was glad I skipped. Although I did not taste it, the presentation looked unattractive. Because the space is small, it becomes noisy inside, prompting signs that ask guests to speak quietly. Service was excellent, and the desserts were pleasant.

We visited as a group, and we all agreed that the restaurant was just fine, not nearly as special as its popularity and high rating would suggest. Starters (we had grilled calamari and potato and dough snacks) were okay. The pasta with mozzarella and tomato was good, as was the pasta with tomato and basil. Unfortunately, my clam pasta was rather disappointing. It looked unappetizing because of its grey color, there weren't many clams, and I ended up regretting my choice. One thing to keep in mind is that if you book a table for 1.5 hours, they really do expect you to leave when your time is up. That happened to us, and we didn't even have time to order tiramisu, which left us with a less positive overall impression. The interior is fairly ordinary and nothing particularly memorable. Overall, I probably wouldn't recommend this place, as there are many more interesting Italian restaurants that offer equally good food without making you feel rushed.

The place is a bit small... I was lucky to get a table for two without a reservation... But other than that, everything else was excellent... Barese pizza, taralli, and especially the orecchiette... The ones with ragù take you straight back to Italy! Congratulations!

Nice meal, they accommodated our walk in group of 4 for dinner right before the big rush which was wonderful. The food was mostly great. The pasta had a great texture and bite. The only disappointment was the pasta with mussels. We were really hoping for a stronger seafood taste but it was quite bland minus the mussels. Everything else was great.

This restaurant has truly become my culinary go-to in Amsterdam. It's much more than just a place to eat well: it's an authentic, warm, and delicious touch of Italy that exudes tradition and a love of food. Five superlative stars is too few to reward such extraordinary work. I will definitely return every time I'm in the city. Highly recommended to anyone who loves authentic cuisine.

We have been to Puglia and this restaurant rivals the best in the state. Everything we ate was absolutely magnificent. The tiramisu may be one of the best I have ever had. Eggplant as an appetizer was also a winner.

Small and cosy with warm and attentive service. All the pasta is home made and served with just the most amazing sauces. The menu is small but when you are this good at a few things then you don’t need to do any more. We had Vongole and Ragu and would heartily recommend both. Lovely relaxed Sunday afternoon spot.

Never got a chance... My wife has been to the Puglia region for a few trips and I was excited to bring her to this restaurant for our first dinner together on our honeymoon in Holland. We came for dinner at 850 for a table for 2. The woman asked if we have a reservation. (It didn't seem like a place that you would need one to me) I said no. She went to check and said they had a table but we could only stay for one hour. Having just come from Italy for a week, I understood this could pose a problem for some but we were starving from our flight from Milan. We were sat right away at a 4 top table. That was the last time we saw our waitress. We sat for 20 min while watching other guests get seated and drink orders taken. My wife was starving and our hour deadline was looming. After we were ignored for the millionth time min we left. The menu was pretentious anyway. The pizza place down the street called Pazzi was AWESOME.

Not sure where all the 5 star ratings are coming from. We got lured in by the reviews but this place is overpriced and the food is mid. Good points: great decor, loved the tablewear and atmosphere, good came quickly and service was okay. Bad points: we ordered mixed salad with seasonal vegetables, this was basically some limp dry leaves and fennel with some cucumber...no dressing and no oil on the table or offered. Burratta starter had zero texture added to the dish, just cheese and a weak tomato sauce poured over the top (at €16!), foccacia was cold and tasted stale, croquettes and savoury doughnuts were okay but nothing amazing for the price. We had the ragu pasta and special pasta (guanciale in a tomtato sauce). We thought with such a tight menu and specialising in a particular pasta shape they should shine here. Unfortunately the pasta was very dense and not like any orecchiette I've had before, the ragu was passable but not as deep tasting as hoped. The sauce with the guanciale had nice pieces of cherry tomatoes but for me had a slightly odd taste. Portion sizes were good. The service was pretty good, although the one girl was rushed off her feet, I had to take salt and pepper from an empty table as our table was not set properly despite having reservations. I also had to specially ask what the specials were, again think a reflection of how busy the young girl was. Dont get me wrong, the food isn't disgusting, but it is not worth the price at all. Disappointed we ended up at such a tourist trap, but if you need to fill your belly after a big day of sightseeing, want a lively atmosphere and maybe stick to just the pasta dishes then you may find it suits you more than it did us.

Everything we ate was excellent; especially the eggplant parmigiana among the starters. The "Vongole al Primitivo" from the pasta menu is also a must-try.
