Great food, great hospitality and fantastic staff.

Bland, uninteresting food. Only plus is a sincerely sweet waitress.

Authentic Italian kitchen, a must when in the Jordaan district of Amsterdam.

The orecchiette is absolutely delicious here. This restaurant is a definite must for authentic Italian cuisine. It's great value for money.

We were here for my grandpa's birthday he is also from puglia and they were very attentive and made us delicious food. Very hospitable and a nice atmosphere.

Santi and Santini was the perfect Puglia meal experience! Starting with the burrata, pomodori secchi e zucchini marinate was delicious, but the next course of Sugo di carne was unbelievable!! The flavors are unmatched and I’ve eaten Italian in many cities in Italy. This restaurant is a total gem and a must eat destination if you are in Amsterdam! Do yourself a favor and finish with the tiramisu and a Sambuca! You won’t be sorry!

We discovered this trattoria via Tripadvisor. The high ratings attracted us. This was certainly also the result of the server's rather aggressive efforts to ask for a (positive) review after paying. During our short stay, we went there twice. The first time, we ordered an insalata mista (small salad), along with octopus sauce and octopus sauce. The second time, we ordered burrata, dry tomatoes and marinated zucchini, and again octopus sauce and meat sauce. The insalata mista (small salad) included quite original and quite numerous ingredients, such as almonds and fennel. The main course was orecchiette, which you can get here in all sorts of variations. The food was good, but not outstanding. It certainly doesn't warrant 5 stars. However, if you like orecchiette, you should try this trattoria. + Points: Fine orrecchiette Attentive and attentive service - Points: Convenient menu Convenient table setting (wooden tables, quite simple, trattoria charm) No bread with the salad (had to be ordered separately) The espresso was lukewarm (a shame)

To be honest, food are 3-4 stars but staffs were so kind and friendly, so I couldn’t give these stars. I expected spaghetti here, but there was so spaghetti options. It would be better to have.

Just came from Italy. Simon was our server and he served us up real good.

A place that takes you straight to Puglia! You enter and the atmosphere is like a village festival! Portions and goodness from southern Italy. 1 portion of focaccia barese, 1 calzone with onions, 1 orecchietta with sauce and meat, 1 orecchietta with aubergine sauce and cacioricotta, 2 glasses of rosé and 1 large water €81.5. Two excellent limoncellos as a gift on the bill 😃

We visited Santi & Santini - Puglia, a Italian gem in ‘de Jordaan’ Hazenstraat 64, close to De Elandstraat. Small but not too small, cozy with about ten tables. The Italian taste in Amsterdam. We can recommend.

Authentic Italian dishes made with care and precision. Do not miss the melanzane or the ragu. Wait staff is professional, responsive and convivial. A must for lunch or dinner in Amsterdam.

Perfect service, attentive to our opinion and perfect pasta! Perfectly al dente orechiette with very tasty sauces. We tried pomodoro, melanzane, ricotta and peperoni e guaciale. Both were delicious! We were on the terrace so we had a very nice view of a small street in Jordaan.

We really enjoyed the great menu and service at Santi &Santini. The menu is not extensive, but they put care into their dishes. Many local Dutch enjoy this local too, which is a very good sign. Real like Italy? Exceptionally close. Highly regarded.

I don’t remember the name of the pasta, but it was the one with meat and was delicious. The tiramisu was delicious as well. My friends ordered side salads which they were not happy with.

Food wasn’t impressive, but the meat cutting was decent and big enough for two , the waitress couldn’t understand English well neither Italian , it was good to try once but wouldn’t go again !

This place was recommended to me by a friend, also Italian and from Bari like me. Nice location, but with a strange smell at the entrance. We ordered an octopus which wasn't fresh at all, and above all it didn't taste like anything. Two first courses, one bland and the other too salty. I had other and high expectations, but I have to change my mind, so far from my point of view it is the worst Italian restaurant I have eaten in abroad. Terrible food, terrible service, correct price for Amsterdam, a steal for the quality of the food

Not sure. The menu could use some more explanation for non Italian and perhaps pictures. Every time I am really not sure what I am ordering and I have been disappointed twice. First the rice with potatoes then a pasta with a green vegetable, a little sardines I hardly could taste and crumbles on top which were not to my taste. According to the waiter this was the most favorite😕 Tbh I am hesitant to give it another try.

Really excellent restaurant with authentic Apulian cuisine. From the excellent reviews I imagined it would be good, but, being from Puglia, I had doubts about the quality. In fact the restaurant far exceeded all my expectations. During my next trip I will definitely come back.❤️

We were there at Easter and made a reservation at short notice. There was actually no space, but somehow they provided us with a table for 6 people. Very nice and welcoming restaurant in the center. Dishes and food from the true Italian tradition and specifically from Puglia, excellent desserts and coffee. Exceptional and helpful staff. We had a lovely evening and they also helped us find our way around the Dutch capital. Recommended for those arriving in Amsterdam for the first time or for those who want to live an authentic Italian culinary experience even abroad.

A piece of Puglia in Amsterdam! We had a really good time in this welcoming restaurant, where you can feel all the love for Apulian cuisine. We went back twice in one week. We tried the orecchiette in all the sauces, one better than the other! The Apulian bombette were a spectacle, the ciceri e tria a fantastic discovery, and the orecchiette with meat sauce... all delicious! A heartfelt thank you to Ciccio for his friendliness and warm welcome, and to all the always smiling staff. We will definitely be back, you made us feel at home! Thanks guys.
