A place to find authentic Apulian cuisine in Holland too! Truly delicious dishes and lovely staff! A place that makes you feel closer to home ♥️♥️♥️

Only the wine and water were good. The food was absolutely awful. Pasta with an indefinable, overcooked, and overly salty meat stew that looked like it came straight from a wholesaler. I didn't notice anything special about the orecchiette, despite the polished presentation. The ice cream dish was very factory-made. A large bowl of raw vegetables without any dressing, to which you can add your own oil and balsamic vinegar. With such a limited menu, you'd expect more attention to the food. The staff was perfunctory and distant.

After days in Amsterdam, we finally found an excellent Italian restaurant! We arrived at 8:30 PM without a reservation and were immediately greeted and seated. The menu is typical of Puglia, with variations of orecchiette pasta as a first course, which is what we ordered. The food was all delicious, the atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, and the staff were friendly. What can I say? If, like us, you're Italian and looking for Italian cuisine, you absolutely have to stop by.

Pleasant and very fast. The food was very good.

The atmosphere was pleasant and we had a nice evening. However, the food was poorly seasoned and rather bland. It's also worth noting that after our visit, the server asked us for a Google review. This likely explains the very good ratings on TripAdvisor/Google.

Great recommendation from a friend that stays here. No reservation walked into an amazing atmosphere, great service, superb negronis and fantastic food. Not from around here but I would definitely recommend to visit when you in Amsterdam

I think it's the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at abroad. P.S. I had the orecchiette with ricotta cheese and they were delicious. The pasticciotto is like the one from Lecce. Congratulations!

Not really impressed with the quality of the food and service sadly. I’m unsure if this is due to the fact that I went later in the afternoon but I was having lunch at the same time the whole staff was. The pasta wasn’t properly cooked and the sauce was cold too + the bruschetta was completely cold. Wouldn’t recommend as someone who eats Italian food often.

What a great great warm place and experience. All the food was fresh, the staff was so sweet and the atmosphere was great. The staff surprised us with a lovely celebration glass of prosecco - it made our night!

Very nice restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is nice and friendly. The food is delicious , simple and authentic Italian. The place „must go to” if you want to find traditional Italian dishes. Beef for main and tiramisu was excellent . Will be nice serving non gluten pasta.

The pasta was good... but the service was a bit poor... the orecchiette were in a thin broth... but overall, they were good. The coffee, like everything else around, was to be avoided. The prices were good and the atmosphere was warm.

We came for a late lunch around 4 PM. Google Maps showed the restaurant as open, but when we arrived, we were told the kitchen was already closed and that we should come back later for dinner. The listed hours are misleading — they should update their schedule to reflect reality.

What I liked most was the atmosphere, very nice. The food was pretty average, but okay!

We were strolling down the street when I spotted this lovely little restaurant and thought, why not? And honestly, we were so glad we stopped there! The fresh pasta was absolutely delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it! 😁

I don't know about your food because I couldn't try it. As a tourist, my first step was to Google for reservations, but it wasn't showing up. I walked a long way from the hotel to your place, and there was a table available. When I asked if I could sit, they rudely told me it was for reservations only, and didn't even mention that you might have to wait. What good is a place like this when it comes to pasta? It was a delicious explosion! Unfortunately, it was a bad experience.

I visited this wonderful restaurant in Puglia and immediately felt at home. The food was truly delicious, the focaccia from Bari was truly outstanding, the orecchiette with ragù was amazing, and the braciole al sugo were also amazing. The service was attentive and precise, but never intrusive. Thanks again for the excellent dinner.

We stumbled upon this place by chance, skeptical and hungry. As the daughter of a native of Puglia, I can say that this evening I ate like I did at my grandmother's house. Nothing out of place, the staff was attentive and very kind. Definitely a must-visit on future trips to Amsterdam.

I wish I liked this place, but the portions were insanely small for the price and the food was not good. The zucchini was overcooked and soggy, the pasta nothing special and too al dente, the meat was cold inside and too salty… I went there because the google maps reviews were good but I do not recommend at all. The burrata, tiramisu and the service were good.. but that’s it..

Excellent meal last night with great service. We arrived without a reservation on a busy evening but they fit us into a time slot quickly. Had a nice salad and superb focaccia to start, followed by two pastas. The beef pasta was outstanding and the pasta with pesto was delicious but be aware it is made with rucola which made it somewhat bitter tasting (no surprise). Highly recommend Santi & Santini!

Best Italian restaurant in Amsterdam and likely one of the best I’ve been in my life. The “Braciole” it’s something that words cannot describe! Just so good! The service is also amazing. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Fabulous food and authentic Puglian specialties – every dish is a delight! The service is exceptionally attentive, friendly, and courteous; you immediately feel welcome and well looked after. I've been here three times now, and I'm impressed every time: by the quality of the food, the loving presentation, and the relaxed atmosphere. A place where you simply feel at home and one you'll want to visit again and again. I'm already looking forward to the next time!

This place is amazing. I got the orecchiette sugo di carne, the Sumá Susumaniello wine and the pasticciotto for dessert - all of which were recommended by the lovely waiters and waitresses. Service, food quality, and atmosphere were all top notch. 100% recommend!

Food was terrible, I had to return the pasta because was too salty and sausage was smelly ... I had to order side instead because not many option, only tow types of pasta shape. After that I got stomach pain for 2 hours and throw the food out after having focaccio bread and potato with rosemary that I am sure was for few days ago... I never back for sure and waste my money and didn't enjoy !

One of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to: real Italian cuisine, prepared by real Italians. Everything is excellent, from starter to dessert. A big thank you to Niovi for his very pleasant service. I recommend this place without hesitation. Special mention for the tiramisu, absolutely delicious. Grazie!

We loved it! My partner and I were hungry during a vacation in Amsterdam, and this restaurant was incredibly quiet... The girl seated us even though the kitchen was about to close, and she was incredibly kind! Would I recommend it? Of course! Thank you, thank you so much 😘

We celebrated a friend's birthday here, and the service was good. Unfortunately, a few of us who ordered the sugo di carne pasta felt very bloated and had stomach issues for the rest of the night. I'm not sure if it was the beef, the pasta, or a combination of ingredients, but the feeling was very uncomfortable. While the staff was great, the food quality was disappointing, not so good as rates here and prices are expensive.

The same taste you can have on Sunday's at your grandparents house. The Orecchiette and the cacioricotta reminds me the lunchtime with the family. Everyone's so kind and also the dessert are good. (It's always an hard choice between pasticciotto & tiramisù). Highly recommended ;-)

Nice place, friendly service, good food, but not very filling and very expensive. For 20 euros, pasta with sundried tomatoes and pesto, without salad. Afterwards, we're still hungry but our wallet says no. Too bad because it's a really nice place.

We really enjoyed the pasta dishes. They were well-seasoned, filling, and we barely had to wait. The staff was quick and friendly. Overall, we had a pleasant evening there. We got a table on Friday evening without a reservation, but that was only by luck. It was full in no time. Reservations are definitely worth it!

I went to Santi & Santini for dinner with three friends and we all loved it! The atmosphere is warm and the use of pottery and decorations from Puglia creates a cozy Italian sphere. The food was great and the service fast and friendly. Will definitely come back!

A slice of Italy in Amsterdam. I had dinner there with my daughters while we were on vacation. We ate very well and were treated with professionalism, courtesy, and kindness. The atmosphere is simple yet refined, the quality is definitely above average, and the prices are fair. I highly recommend it to anyone like us who wants to feel at home for an evening, even if we're miles away.

Pumpkin pasta was delicious! Ended up ordering 2 portions. Foccacia was really good! Service was very attentive, only dish that didn’t blow me away was the truffle pasta.

We didn’t have a reservation, but we got sat immediately. The waitress was amazing and kind and accommodated all of our needs. Food was INCREDIBLE

Went here on a week night and it was still pretty packed. The walls are decorated with art you can buy (I think) and the food is very authentic Italian. Our server was so nice. She recommended a great red wine that went well with our orecchiette- their specialty and the only type of pasta available. The caponata is also worth a mention. Would definitely return.

If you like Southern Italian cuisine, this is the place to go. The orecchiette was sensational, as were the desserts. We enjoyed both lunch and dinner there – it's best to make a reservation in advance, otherwise you'll have to wait. Very friendly service.

I am going to be dreaming of the Pettole E Sgagliozze, which are “savoury doughnuts stuffed with black olives” forever. They will haunt my memory forever as one of the best things I ate in Amsterdam.

Love this place. The bread donut with olives in it was HEAVEN. I always take pics of my food but totally forgot because of how delicious everything looked and smelled. The main dishes were spectacular as well. This is a definite must try place. The service and atmosphere were lovely as well. For 2 people - 2 mains, 1 starter, 2 cocktails were about 80 EUR. Very reasonable considering the quality of the food.
