Saotohuisje 2 in Sloter-/Riekerpolder

I've read a lot of negative reviews, but we (2) thought it was very good. We had roti and rice rames (mixed meat). The place looks very neat. Service and preparation are hygienic with gloves. The roti tasted delicious; well-cooked chicken that wasn't dry, good long beans, the gravy a bit thin but very tasty and not overly seasoned. The rames: excellent rice, a wonderful variety of meats, nicely sour, and crunchy beans. Everything super fresh and very flavorful. The satay was also good. Large portion, no overpowering aftertaste. In short, we thought it was fantastic. Tip: fill the refrigerated display case; it looks a bit strange when it's empty. We will definitely go again.

The saoto was tasty, but unfortunately, the baka bama was as hard as a rock, and the satay chicken smelled and tasted stale. I'll never come here again; I'm very disappointed.

Roti vega: quite large, with unseasoned timpe, some long beans, and potato, not very tasty. Lemper: small factory-made lemper that was completely flat, wet, and not firm for €3.75. Satay: seemed like factory-made pieces, and the peanut sauce was very thin. Not very tasty and expensive. Not recommended.

Prepackaged, not homemade, and sat on or something? Gross and expensive too. Such a shame, I'll never go there again.

Ordered a nasi chicken. Chicken pieces were not cleaned properly, nasi was tasteless and dry. Furthermore, a watery mess and beans (so-called long beans) soured for €14. Little attention to the customer. They were more concerned with orders and telephone calls. Not recommended!

You get dried out old food here, especially their meat. Also read other reviews folks, I'm not the only one who says it. Not friendly at all, as if you are coming to get the food for free. It is a mystery to me that this tent still exists.

Rotirol lamb and beef very tasty. Salt meat also tastes very good. We come from Zaandam to eat at Saotohuisje 2 ❤️.

Ik heb alleen eten gehaald voor mee te nemen,eten was heerlijk.

Ze doen echt nooit wat je vraagt, ik wil graag veel groenten en weinig vlees, altijd krijg ik 3 sperziebonen ( echt geen kouseband ) en een bak vol plofkip, dus nu echt helemaal klaar mee!!!

Roti kip besteld, helaas niet tevreden over. Kip niet zo mals, enorm veel dunne/waterige jus in het bakje. Heel weinig / mega zachte kousenband waar geen smaak meer aan zit. Wel erg duur (€13). Saotosoep wel top.

Nasi, bami en sperziebonen waren lekker, maar het rundvlees van de rendang was taai! Echt heel erg taai. Ik vond het ook erg duur. 30 euro voor twee keer nasi/bami met groenten en vlees! Het is het niet waard, helaas

Het eten is niet te eten. Ongezellig huisje.
