My experience with Say Cheese & More in Delft Sometimes it is not the famous restaurants or the most beautiful locations that leave the biggest impression. Sometimes you discover a special place when you least expect it. That was the case for me at Say Cheese & More in Delft. For my second date, we were looking for a place that was cozy, relaxed, and above all, different. Not a chic restaurant with high expectations, but a location where we could sit quietly and get to know each other better. When we stood in front of the facade, to be honest, we had no idea what awaited us. From the outside, the establishment looks modest and simple. That is precisely why the surprise inside was all the greater. From the very first moment, the friendly welcome stood out. The atmosphere was warm and informal, making us feel immediately at ease. The restaurant opened its doors in 2023 and operates according to the mission “Food That Makes You Smile,” where quality and hospitality take center stage. The chef has decades of experience as a cook and pizza maker and works with recipes that have been refined over the years. What stuck with me most were the flavors. The fresh vegetables were crisp and flavorful, the meat was deliciously seasoned and perfectly prepared, and the fresh garlic sauce completed the experience. Everything tasted fresh and prepared with care. Although many people know the place for pizzas, pastas, and other popular dishes, during my visit I also discovered flavors that reminded me of Syrian cuisine. The rich spices, the balance between the ingredients, and the warm preparation gave the food an authentic character that you wouldn't immediately expect behind this simple facade. It was precisely that unexpected element that made the experience special. In a time when many hospitality businesses look alike, this place distinguishes itself through simplicity, quality, and genuine hospitality. They work with fresh ingredients, and you can taste that in every dish. The combination of flavorful vegetables, tender meat, and homemade sauces ensured that both the food and the evening itself were a success. For me, Say Cheese & More will always remain linked to a beautiful memory. Not only because the food was excellent, but also because it was the location of a successful second date. It is remarkable how a restaurant can become part of a personal story. Every time I walk along the Binnenwatersloot, I think back to that evening: the unexpected sense of discovery, the relaxed conversations, and the delicious food that pleasantly surprised us. What makes this place so special is that you find more there than you would expect based on the exterior. The chicken doner here is very good!

The meat for the kapsalon was taken out of the freezer and thawed in the microwave. Tough and dried out. Then I felt nauseous all evening; not recommended!!

Worst experience for a kebab shop or döner in the area.

I ordered pasta ne ayran, but I only received pasta without ayran.

Food was good and what was expected. Service was top notch with friendly service while we waited for takeaway.

Since the renovation, the (pizza) prices have doubled (!!!) Additionally, the quality of the food is extremely disappointing: my Turkish pizza was barely topped and was just lukewarm... For a euro less, the Turkish pizza at Kobis is worth much more! The guy preparing it was constantly touching everything with his hands, including his shirt and jeans, which makes it look quite unhygienic. All in all, not recommended. The sambal is nice and spicy, though.

The pizza was nice, and they open late, but there's a 4EUR dine-in surcharge. I can objectively say that the condition and cleanliness of the interior does not justify any surcharge. Takeout recommended.

The food I ordered was awful. Kapsalon is 100% fries and no meat, and the durum is just as disgusting. And that turmeric and curry spices... just learn to cook. And don't rip people off. I threw away over 30 euros because even my dog ​​wouldn't eat it.

The man is ready for retirement. He ordered a kapsalon (a type of sausage). Unfortunately, the meat was sour. The last piece of the roll, which was chopped into chunks, was sour. After two pieces of meat, he stopped eating. The garlic sauce tasted like pure garlic. My mouth was dry. The lettuce and tomato that were cooked in the oven were on top. All in all, a sad disappointment! I feel nauseous.

Ordered lasagna...too salty...inedible...so much cheese, like rubber...one sheet of lasagna...so subpar. The delivery person arrived with a filthy bag that looked like it came straight from the dump...very unappetizing. How can you sell food like this? Don't you take pride in your work? You won't get many customers this way.

Ordered around 1 p.m., delivered at 2:45 p.m. It was for one chicken burger and two beers, the burger was cold, and when we called, the man on the phone was not very cheerful. Poor service.

I visited the restaurant today and tried the food. The owner was very friendly and prepared the food quickly. I liked the food I look forward to trying other types of food from them I forgot to say the price is very cheap, maybe among the 5 cheapest restaurants in Delft.

I ordered pizza with Coca-Cola Zero and Italian bread. Pizza came to me cold and there was no Coca-Cola.

Generally pizza is quite good most of the time ( gave it a few shots), prices are good and it's always made fast, so really not much to complain about, to be honest. Only quality of spinach on the pizza was not so nice I remember, and only that... (I would also put more Italian classics on the menu, such as Parma, rucola and vegetables etc. instead of the expirements with 3 types of meat, but maybe I'm biased... and I think you should stretch the pizza dough instead of rolling, keeps a nice structure), please keep good ingredients , it's a key to have a good pizza. If I was the owner I would also put more emphasis on the pizza, and leave out the "...and more" - sounds a bit indecisive, and the pizza is good, so maybe focus on it, at least for now?

Visited this place to eat a pizza with a friend, but both of us have been quite disappointed by the food quality. We weren't expecting anything exceptional, but the pizza was undercooked and the tomato sauce heavily seasoned with garlic. The service was also quite "cold" and not very "welcoming".

Reëel man. Vermelden op je website dat je eten binnen 20-45 minuten bezorgt. Om die reden bij deze tent besteld. Duurt al meer dan een uur. Bestelden om twee uur 's nachts. Inmiddels is het drie uur 's nachts geweest.

Had besteld hier. Vroeg of ze mijn mobielnummer wouden bellen en ipv dat belde de bezorger aan om half 3 snachts, heb gevraagd voor geen tomaat vanwege allergie en ze hebben tomaat op mijn kapsalon gegooit. En de bovenkant van mijn pizza bleef plakken aan de deksel. Het eten was wel oké. Ondanks alle misverstanden. Helaas had mijn vriend zijn kapsalon kunnen weggooien.

Ordered from TooGoodToGo and when I showed up (1:30 AM), they said they had no surprise boxes. Unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth, but I cannot critique the food itself.

Beste pizza en pasta die ik ooit heb gegeten, alles is vers en de deeg is dun en knapperig precies zoals in Italië!

Ik had een Rollo (soort opgerolde pizza) met vlees en het was echt super lekker! Totaal niet vettig maar heerlijke krokante korst en goede vulling. De eigenaar is ook erg vriendelijk en stond met veel toewijding het gerecht te bereiden. Zeker een aanrader!
