The matcha is delicious and the baked goods are delicious. Even the staff is nice.

I love stopping by Selma on my way to my wife, their croissants are always perfect. A small ritual that never disappoints.

Fresh Cinnamon buns right out of the oven! Fantastic! Cookies are absolutely wonderful.

Sweets and pastries a little better than average. Bad coffee - excessive amount of milk, even after adding another shot of espresso the coffee is not strong. Flavorless… No toilets.

Had a very disappointing experience with this bakery, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone relying on them for a special occasion. We reached out via their website contact form to order a cake for a special event. It took them three days to respond. Once they finally replied and confirmed they could make the cake, we responded promptly with all the details, asking to pick it up two days later. When we arrived, no cake had been prepared. The staff claimed they never received our response and placed all the blame on us, showing no accountability or effort to resolve the issue. We were left without a cake and with a very negative impression of both their service and attitude.

Pastry is OK, but nothing special and expensive. Staff (obviously) doesn't speak a word of Dutch, because apparently that's not necessary anymore in Amsterdam city center. Typically a place for gen Z tourists, expats and oat milk elite with Gooische rrr.

This was the BEST cinnamon bun of my life - and I had many of them! Not too sweet, not too fat, light and full of taste! They were still warm when I came - amazing. 🫶🏼 Prices are very decent & well chosen, compared to other unnecessarily overpriced bakeries in the city!

Still by the far the best cardamom buns this city has to offer. Only downside is a lack of seating space. But you can enjoy your treat instead on a walk around the canals :)

I took away the cardamon bun. It was okayish. Because I just ordered that and left , I can’t comment on other parts.

I was craving a hot drink and found this warm little place. I saw they had matcha on the menu so I ordered some and they made it for me just right. I like it when the barista takes their time making a drink and provides excellent service. I haven't tried their bakery but it looks really tasty.

This is a take away shop, the boy there is very unmotivated and the prices for bakery quite high.no seating possibility. Didn't feel very welcome.

STOP everything and run to this place! I bumped by chance into this place on my way to work. BEST coffee and pastries in Amsterdam. Service is friendly and fast. It is Nordic inspired. I went every day to pick my latte and cinnamon bun. It is cozy - So not so much place; but don’t hesitate to pass by and try. Trust me you won’t be disappointed! Thank me later.

Selma’s is a very small, cute coffee shops with Nordic pastries, but you can also find carrot cake, different types of croissants or vegan coconut balls. The barista lady was very kind and welcoming, the place has a nice vibe. You can sit inside on a piece of bench or outside but the place is more designed for take aways. I had a cinnamon bun, which was ok, not the best and freshest either. I would definitely come back for a nice flat white or matcha again.

Service has been very slow the line is out the door just waiting. They seem very short staffed :(

I just stopped to get something quick before a museum, they made me a ham croissant as there weren’t any left and omg ! Best thing ever warm and delicious and they were super friendly with me !

Matcha wasn't properly mixed, as well as the cup not even bejng close to full (not the ice, just an unfilled cup!). Sad, because I heard good things. For the prices they ask for a subpar matcha latte, I'm not coming back.

Flat white is cappuccino and cappuccino is a latte. I don’t know what in their mind is a latte. This is not speciality coffee, it is barely hobby coffee.

Really good breakfast. Super almond croissant! Small but welcoming place. It's a shame about the unsympathetic staff: even though there was no one to serve, they were in a hurry to close our account and didn't give any information on the choice of products.

Amazing scandivanian coffee spot!

My favorite place for coffee in the city ! I went everyday during my holiday and got their latte (honestly best in Amsterdam); definitely get the pistachio twist which was so delicious ! Service was excellent and vibes are very chill. LOVE THIS PLACE :)

Very often your order is canceled and they are suddenly no longer open for delivery. Or a lot is sold out, while according to UE you could still order it. The food is really tasty, but the service almost makes me decide not to even try it again. It's a shame that there is no good continuity here

Nice people working there but overall the drinks aren’t very good and quite expensive. My milk was barely steamed and there wasn’t much flavor in a chai latte.

They were very kind to me, even though I made a mess spilling the tea. They were kind and forgiving, and even offered me a treat

Kardemom in plaats van cinnamon was een keer lekker, maar de bun was best droog. Zou er zeker niet voor terugkomen.

They have plant based kanelbullar and a vegan grilled sandwich with imitation feta and spinach. They also have gravlax and smoke salmon themselves. A little taste of Sweden in Amsterdam, highly recommend.

I added this spot to my favorites. I was in the neighborhood, and I stopped by to grab some lunch. Fresh and tasty sandwiches (I recommend the artichokes, spinaches, and feta) , Nordic bakery assortment, and great coffee. The staff is kind and polite, which is a nice touch. I got some sweets to take away, and they are delicious. There are a couple of seats available inside on a bench and a couple of seats available on a bench outside. I liked the relaxed atmosphere.

I didn’t have the capacity to sample the delicious-looking pastries but the coffee was great.

The shop is so clean. The employee was super friendly and nice. This place has the best coffee and pastries. The pastries felt like they just came out of the oven. Melted in my mouth. Very delicious 🤤 Can’t wait to be back in Amsterdam and have this again.

I’m from the states and I would fly back to Amsterdam just to get their almond croissant again. It was the best I’ve ever had, in my whole life.

Great drinks. Really good cinnamon rolls with cardamom spice as well. Super smooth cappuccino. Also tried the chai tea that was excellent, pretty sure they make their own blend bc it had a pleasant, unique flavor.

Velice příjemná obsluha, výborný mandlový croissant (nikdy jsem neměla lepší) a i skořicová roláda. Měli jsme capuccino, které nemělo chybu. Plus velmi chill posezení s výhledem na okolí. Ráda se sem vrátím, až budu zase v Amsterdamu :)

Kleine Bäckerei mit einer Auswahl von u.a. Croissants, Sandwiches sowie diversen Kaffee Spezialitäten. Die Croissants waren in allen Ausprägungen (klassisch, mit Käse und mit Schinken) alle super, dazu preislich überraschend günstig, alles super, daher volle Sterne.
