We had enough seats to eat inside, we've ordered and waited around 15 minutes. The food was fresh and good, unfortunately the 3 star review is firvtge atmosphere created by the people smoking next to the restaurant with the door open. The cigarette smoke was everywhere and was irritating during our visit. Other than that everything else is going well.

The employee at this location, Elias, is extremely rude and unfriendly. I had to wait 2.5 hours for my order. On the phone, I was told each time that the delivery driver was on his way. After 2.5 hours, I learned that the delivery driver had given our order to another customer. This employee refused to offer any solution other than another hour of waiting for our order. I indicated that I disagreed with this and at the very least, offered compensation. He then explained that we had placed a low order and therefore couldn't expect any service, that we had to wait at the back of the line again, and that we weren't being prioritized despite their mistake. This gentleman hung up on me twice and raised his voice during our conversations. He was a very unprofessional employee. His colleague, Ace, on the other hand, is friendly and helpful! Because of my bad experience with Elias, I would avoid this restaurant because they talk badly about customers in front of them, and who knows what they might do to your food?

Delicious sushi and great service. I called them about a single salmon nigiri that had been delivered incorrectly. It was redelivered within 10 minutes. Personally, I think the service is excellent. The sushi itself is delicious for the price. I do think the salmon and tuna nigiri could be cut a bit thicker, like the sashimi (I don't have a photo of this).

Yesterday I ordered shabu, sushi, and two chicken tenders with sweet soy sauce. At first, it tasted good, everything was fine, but shortly after, I became extremely nauseous, feeling like I was going to throw up. I even had severe stomach pain and diarrhea. The next day, I'm still having severe stomach pain. I just got food poisoning. I've ordered from them before, and nothing ever went wrong, but this time, it really went wrong. The last time I'll order from them.

The staff works hard to prepare delicious sushi. The rice is good quality. They're very considerate of allergens. For example, dishes with gluten-containing sauces (unagi) are packaged separately from the rest of the sushi. Ginger is available separately. There's a wide selection. We opted for takeout.

It's that I have to give 1 star, but that's still too much. Ordered food at 17:50 and after 3 hours it still wasn't there, in the meantime I called 3 times and didn't know where the delivery person was. After more than 3 hours it finally arrived, and the sushi was as dried out as anything, far from fresh! Really disgusting. If you wait 3 hours and it's tasty, you still have something. But now you have nothing. No compensation, really scandalous

We had high expectations for Shabu To Go, but they were crushed within a few bites. What we ordered: spicy karaage and sweet soy chicken strips. What we got? A lukewarm container with random pieces of chicken, thrown together as if they were leftovers, and the sauce loose next to it. No effort, no presentation – nothing like the photos. Deception at its finest. The sushi? Mediocre and soulless. The rice was tasteless and the texture was wrong. Only the salmon was somewhat okay, but was served cold as if it came straight from the refrigerator. Not exactly what you expect from a hot meal. As if that wasn't enough, we weren't even taken seriously on the phone. We tried to tell our story nicely, but the employee didn't even let us finish. No excuses, no resolution, just indifference. In short, this felt like a quick, cheap rip-off with no love or care. A waste of your money and your evening. Never again for us.

I will never visit this place again. I went for the first time with my family, the weather was nice, and every restaurant had its terrace open. We went in, ordered, and unfortunately, there was nowhere to sit because only a few tables inside were occupied, and the terrace was closed. It was dirty and untidy. A rude man, who was on his break, was sitting at a table and wouldn't give us one of the free chairs. They didn’t have straws for the drink in the can. They didn't even offer a cup, which I assume they probably didn't have either. I ordered a matcha, which I didn’t got. Later, the woman said that she had called me, that the matcha was ready. It had been sitting on the counter for half an hour. The atmosphere was gloomy, the staff was unfriendly, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, and I have a good ear. I do not recommend this place due to the way customers are treated. A little smile wouldn't hurt. I know work can be tough and someone might be tired, but I also saw how you treated others.

The food itself was quite okay, but the sushi was pressed together in such a way that it formed a whole and they did not come apart without tearing them. Also ordered chicken wings and chicken nuggets for the Kids, these boxes with sauces, among other things, were turned on their side to make it fit. Got a delivery from here with teriaky beef bowl and shrimp bowl. The food was way too expensive for its quality. The beef was chewy and slimy, the texture of it was terrible... Felt like I was eating chewing gum rather than beef. The noodles were very bland. The only edible parts were those that don't require cooking... And then you call the restaurant about this to explain it and then you get a very rude young man on the phone who clearly does not take your complaints seriously at all, and says that you should just complain to uberEATS. Still lots of options besides sushi’s, like cold and warm pokebowl’s, as well bento boxes. Prices have increased a bit, but the quality and quantity have gone down as well the service. They used to have friendly staff, but they don’t greet you anymore and even looked annoyed that a customer has come in. I don’t understand what happened to the friendly staff, especially the older man at the counter was very grumpy like you are a pain to come in. It will be the last time to come here to eat, really a pity.

Nice meal. However, it doesn't make sense if you eat on site that the food is packaged in disposable and you have to pay a surcharge for this. Because this plastic goes straight into the trash. On October 6, I ordered a Festive Platter here, as I have done countless times before. The penultimate time, the delivery person had held the Platter on its side, causing all the sushi to be pushed to one side. I took that for granted, because accidents can happen. However, on October 6, exactly the same thing happened. I immediately contacted them by telephone and the employee offered to refund my money. I accepted that, but I would have preferred to have my order in order. I said that too. On October 14, I still didn't have my money and I sent a message. After four days there was no money and no response. I emailed again on October 18 and after four days (today) no money and no response to the messages. That's what you get as a regular customer: they ignore you until you give up. I once had something similar at Sushpoint: a voucher in my mailbox two days later. So it is possible, but apparently not at Shabu to Go. Truly an inferior way of treating your customers.

It’s the most convenient sushi place next to my home. I often go to pick up the sushi myself and then eat at home. There is a particularly rude lady serving there, the one older than the rest of staff. I am a regular customer, she forgets to put soya sauce on my sushi box and when I ask for it she charged me 80 cents for it!!! So I have made a habit that if I see her when I go to the door of the restaurant I go away and go get sushi in Albert Heijn instead. She might be the owner because she is grumpy with the staff as well. However the staff is kind, polite and helpful. The sushi is average quality, Albert Heijn sushi is better, I just feel lazy to walk 4-5 minutes more sometimes.

I have to say, from what I've read here, the owner isn't doing anything about it!! First of all, I've ordered here twice already. The first time, it was fries with shrimp in a small container for €25, a ridiculous price!! But it was doable!! The staff are women or young girls behind the counter. You guys should learn some manners first, like customer service and dress a bit nicer. And sit on your phone like you have absolutely nothing to do!! I ordered BBQ shrimp for €18, just open the container and you'll find 3 pieces of BBQ chicken that were quite hard, and a few shrimp, you can count. And a few fries, not even a salad. Seriously, no, sorry, it was inedible!! I've learned my lesson!! Please do something about your complaints! You won't see me there again!!

Estuvimos en Rotterdam para un partido en De Kuip recientemente y paramos aquí de antemano para tomar cerveza y pizza. Muchos fans haciendo lo mismo. Estaba bien, pero en realidad nada especial. La pizza estaba bien, el ambiente era muy cadencioso. Los precios de la cerveza eran bastante buenos, pero una botella de agua costaba más que cualquiera de las cuatro cervezas que tuvimos. Sirvió a nuestras necesidades, pero desearía haber intentado en otro lugar. Más cerca de 2. 5 estrellas que 3, pero me redondeé.
