Never arrives on time. When I call, they say the order will be there in a few minutes, yet I still wait an hour. The food is terrible; it's gone downhill. Do not recommend!

The dishes I ordered were all wrong, the same sauce everywhere, and the sushi was different from what was described. Two containers of wasabi on a 90-euro order, stingy raisins. Spijkenisse is much better, Vlaardingen is no more.

After waiting almost two hours from the time I ordered, my food arrived cold. I could almost throw it away because it was so inedible—a waste of money and food. Now I know where not to order, thanks.

One star is already too much for you. Worse service simply doesn't exist.

A very disappointing experience – never again I waited over 90 minutes for my order. I ended up going to the location myself (at the end of my street) to ask how things were going. They simply told me the food still needed to be made. I ended up waiting another 15 minutes in the store. No apology, no explanation, and not even an offer to refund the €2.50 delivery fee – the least they could have done. I really expected more service from a place like Shabu. Once, but never again.

We ordered delivery. So I can't say what the atmosphere is like in the place. As for the food, it wasn't very tasty. I don't want to offend anyone and we didn't even finish it, it was a pity that we ordered it. Delivery was on time, everything is fine, thank you very much 🙏🏻

Ordered last night with a CLEAR letter added that baby is sleeping (even marked by the restaurant itself). The doorbell still rings heavily and exaggeratedly at almost closing time, so I don't feel like it anymore. The next day I heard nothing, I called and got a woman on the phone who said nicely, yes, I had told the delivery person but said he was sorry, he didn't hear anything about it and he also dealt with it, I don't really care, no small compensation or anything else. Treat this BADLY!!!!!

Ordered fried ramen & sushi. Sushi is tasty, but unfortunately arrived cold. The tempura ebi crunchy around it was unfortunately soft. The “fried ramen” was definitely not fried ramen. See left photo of home delivery and right photo of what you receive. No fried noodles, but wet noodles with a terriyaki flavor that predominates. Unfortunately, as shown in the photo, it went straight into the trash. Shame about the 8.75!!

Very disappointing experience. I had already placed my order at 4:03 PM with the clear wish to receive it at 6:00 PM. In the end the order only arrived half an hour to 45 minutes late. Upon arrival, the entire bag turned out to be covered in sauce, making everything dirty and unappetizing. The hot snacks were ice cold, while the sushi was warm and completely falling apart. This was hands down the worst sushi order I have ever had. Definitely not recommended!

I order here regularly. The food is always good and tasty, although the hot dishes are sometimes a bit lukewarm. The previous chicken pops were better than the ones they have now. Sometimes there are little extras included for free. Delivery always good too!

I don't know what's going on with you these last few months but things aren't going well. Delivery asap is now usually 1 to 2 hours and I live close by. The sushi is often mixed up in the box and the hot items are cold. Will be a while before I order again.

I have never been so disappointed with an order from Shabu to go. You should probably start talking to your suppliers because what has arrived looks like someone dug through it. Not to mention the 2 hour wait for an order.

I placed an order for almost 70 euros. Delivery time indicated as soon as possible, which is within 50 minutes. I waited 3 hours and fifteen minutes for delivery. Called twice and once I received a voucher for hot dishes for the next order. When I called the second time they said, it will be out in 5 minutes. Took another 45 minutes. (5 minutes cycling for the delivery person) upon arrival the hot food was cold. Sushi was good.

We had to wait more than 1.5 hours for our food. That is 40 minutes longer than indicated when ordering. The hot dishes (noodles and snack box) were cold. Sushi was also less fresh than we are used to. Called several times to find out where food was, but was always told they were coming. This still took a very long time. In short...paid too much and had to wait too long for bad service and very mediocre food.

Waited 2 hours, sushi was all over the box, when calling, the gentleman gave 2 choices; or a new box (and wait longer + hand in the old one) or a voucher. Ridiculous after waiting 2 hours and therefore without real compensation.

The sushi itself was ok, but all hot dishes were cold! The delivery was almost an hour later than the desired time. According to the app, the delivery person was nearby and then it took another hour. When we called we were told that the delivery person had a lot of orders for 'nearby'. That also explains why the spring rolls were cold and soggy. The crispy sushi was certainly no longer crispy, but chewy. Not tasty!

Ordered food at 5:35 PM, stated delivery time 40 to 55 minutes. I ordered it as quickly as possible since I just had to work and a company is not open 24/7. 6:50 PM still no order received. Called twice, both times it was stated that it would take “10 minutes because the delivery person is on his way” (16 minutes cycling from restaurant to store) 7:42 PM (2 hours later) the order has finally arrived. And it is still cold too (it was a grill box). 1 star is still too much for words.

I ordered chicken box but it was way too salty. What a disappointment and for that price. Won't be ordering from here again anytime soon.

I was walking on the sidewalk of the Buzzard Street in Vlaardingen, wanted to go to the other side and halfway through a Shabu delivery man came speeding around the bend in his car. I had to jump out of the way and drag my dog ​​with me, otherwise we would have been under the car. I understand that you are in a hurry, but this driving behavior is antisocial and unacceptable.

The food is very poor at this branch of shabu. After a number of good orders, I once received tasteless sushi. The cook could have been having a bad day. Can happen to the best. But today...what a bad poke bowl! Tasteless a small piece of paper thin fried chicken, worthless. Tuna poke bowl 4 small cubes of tuna, equally tasteless. Both bowls contained a layer of rice, a gigantic mountain of lettuce, some edam beans, some corn and wax-colored fish eggs. Rice had no flavor and was too slimy. There really is no taste to it. Oh yes, except for the too thick, syrupy, too salty, too much sesame-tasting sauce. It seems like they were given something good to throw instead of a properly cared for poke bowl. Never order a poke bowl here. Better go to i love sushi in the city center! The only plus was the cheerful, friendly delivery person! Hence the three stars for service

I order my sushi here often, but unfortunately it went wrong this time. Due to food allergies, I cannot eat avocado and I always ask if it can be replaced with cucumber. This always goes well, but unfortunately not today. I tried calling Shabu but they are already closed and I can't reach them now. Now I can throw away the sushi…. The photo also shows that they flagged my comment, so I don't understand how this could have gone wrong.

The food was really delicious! The ebi fry s were wonderfully crispy and the sushi fresh! It was delivered within 25 minutes. And I live in Schiedam. I say good service, next time!

Cashless company .. think about it .. as far as I'm concerned you can close it right away .. cash is now *still* a legal tender .but it is not accepted!

The delivery man totally destroys a parked car and takes off the mirror of another car. Manager and delivery person refuse to truthfully complete the claim form. Then file a report, maybe this branch will dare to take responsibility.

Never had such bad sushi. I have been coming to shabu for years and have always had a good meal. Ordered from this location 5 times, all 5 times it was a disaster. Sushi limply folded and sloppy. Not good in taste. The gyoza was inedible. The cheese patato was cold inside and anything but soft and creamy. This is really the last time I order here. The star is only for fast delivery

Quality of sushi no longer that good. Falls apart. One of the staff members stands with long loose hair. Scratches head with long nails and then wraps up food. Not so hygienic. Don't want to eat sushi here anymore. Last collected.

My boyfriend and I always get our sushi here. Nothing to complain about! Prices have increased, but that's the case with everything! Inflation huh…

Fast delivery and delicious food.

I placed an order at Shabu to go on Saturday evening for a large portion of sushi, I paid in advance, my order was not delivered. When I called on Saturday, no one answered the phone, when I called the next day to explain the situation, the unpleasant lady informed me that she had sent two delivery people with food to my house and no one opened the door. This is not true, no one was at my place, I waited all evening with my parents for this order and I'm sure no one called. I didn't get any food or money back. I do not recommend!!

I order at 5:15 PM so that the food can be delivered at 6:45 PM. It is finally delivered another 45 minutes later. All the food is upside down in the bag as if it has already been eaten once. Bill is >€30.00. Wasn't answered professionally by phone when I called to find out where the order was. The lady on the phone shows no compassion and says she will ask. Hangs up without indicating and doesn't call back. The delivery finally says at the door "there's nothing we can do about it". You can leave a review on the site. Well, here it is. I normally order from Hamachi, but this time I made a trip due to their holiday. This was a one-off. Hamachi is fantastic in every way. #hamachischiedam

Sushi laten bezorgen. Stond voor het bestellen dat de wachttijd tussen de 30 en 55 minuten zou zijn. Uiteindelijk heeft het 2 uur geduurd. In de tussentijd 2x gebeld en toen is mij medegedeeld dat hij onderweg was. Best lang onderweg geweest voor een kippe-endje. Begrijp dat het druk is, maar 2 uur wachten is ietwat absurd. Sushi zag er ook niet strak uit en was zeker niet zo lekker als de vorige keer. Prijs/kwaliteit zwaar niet in balans.

Super lekker! En alles roze haha ik hou er van. Duurde wel ruim een uur maar was het wachten waard.

Per abuis bestelling op ophalen ipv bezorgen. Gebeld en deze wordt alsnog bezorgd. Geweldige service! Ben zóóo blij dat ik nu niet naar buiten hoef lol. Shabu Vlaardingen, heel erg bedankt!!

Bestelt en laten thuisbezorgd. Het was heerlijke sushi, was de eerste keer en de gerechten kwamen overeen met de afbeeldingen van de website. We kregen er een setje luxe (herbruikbare) stokjes bij en was een hele leuke verrassing en gaan we vaker gebruiken.

Lekkere sushi en vers, alleen gaan ze wel heel laat open

Sushi is lekker en vers . Maar waarom is alles zo zout! Werd er gewoon eng van, de ketjap is te zout. Kids hadden de ramen met beef, die konden na een paar happen niet meer op omdat het niet lekker was door de hoeveelheid zout in de saus. Jammer maar hoeft echt niet meer.

Goed te eten, niet heel goedkoop

Heerlijk genoten van de sushi die ik had afgehaald. Ik had de festive platter besteld, een gevarieerde box en de crunchy box. Beide zijn zeker aanraders. Voldoende sojasaus en wasabi erbij gekregen.

Nu al een paar keer wat besteld en opgehaald. Altijd netjes op tijd klaar en het eten is lekker maar dat mag ook wel voor die prijs.

Super goed alternatief tijdens de lockdown.... toch nog sushi eten en nog lekker ook!

Eten is weinig bijzonder. Prima veggie potato en springrolls. Sushi is zeer matig: lijkt niet vers en wordt bezorgd in dezelfde zak als warme producten, waardoor het warm wordt en de sushi uit elkaar valt. We waren ook niet erg onder de indruk van de kwaliteit van de vis.

Vandaag sushi besteld online om half 6 ,binnen 60 min zou het bezorgd moeten worden. Na anderhalf uur maar gebeld waar de sushi bleef,het wordt binnen 10 min bezorgd zei de dame aan de telefoon.....nu een half uur verder nog geen sushi ,weer gebeld......dame zei weer' het is nu onderweg 'zijn we bijna 2 uur verder!!!!! Dat het druk is snap ik......maar 2 uur op je eten wachten...…..oke geariveerd……..en een beetje jammer de sojabonen KOUD!!

Bestellen was lastig, vorige week zelfs onmogelijk (mede door verkeerde info, telefonisch werd er zelfs niet meer beantwoord). Deze week nieuwe poging gedaan, helaas niet volgens verwachting. Sushi redelijk maar niet bijzonder (leek niet vers, Nice to meet box), Chicken Teriyaki Ramen, redelijk maar vette kipstukken, Teriyaiki mix Beef/Chicken idem, beef vette stukken (leek eerder op pork). Duidelijk veel beter gewend, niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Erg lekker erg snel thuis bezorgd. Leuk om je bestelling stap voor stap te kunnen volgen. Bestellen en afhalen is ook handig, moesten nog wel even maar teken dat het vers bereid wordt! Ik vond het echt een aanrader. Veel lekkerder dan de supermarkt sushi!

Food war okay, reichlich und gut gewürzt. Für mich waren 11€ in Ordnung. Werde wieder mal hier essen. Ist nicht so überlaufen, gibt allerdings auch kein Bier zum Essen.
