One of the best shawarma shops in Alkmaar, you can eat here so well, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday you can eat from 5 pm and even have it delivered

Dit restaurant is niet eens 1 ster waardig. Hosni de eigenaar is echt een vreselijke man hij is ontzettend onprofessioneel en scheld iedereen uit als het even niet gaan zoals hij wil. Gerrit is daarentegen een top vent en ik hoop dat hij snel inziet dat hosni niet helemaal lekker is. Je betaald ook de hoofdprijs een broodje kost al tien euro als het niet meer is. Ook krijgen mensen die moeten bezorgen zwart betaald super onveilig! Ga hier vooral niet eten.

This restaurant is not even worthy of 1 star. Hosni the owner is a really horrible man, he is extremely unprofessional and sweary everyone if things don't go his way. Gerrit, on the other hand, is a great guy and I hope he soon realizes that hosni is not very tasty. You also pay top price, a sandwich costs ten euros if not more. People who have to deliver are also paid undeclared, super unsafe! Don't eat here.

You pay €10 for a pita with shawarma, and if you buy a bag of pitas at a supermarket, you'll get a better deal. The service is terrible, and they smoke joints upstairs in the kitchen. You can't call it a shawarma place anymore.

For over 30 years, the best shawarma in Alkmaar. The staff was a bit disappointing, except for the hostess, who's really not friendly. The other guy used to be great and very customer-friendly. I was there again recently, and it's gotten so poor! The prices are ridiculously high for what you get! Going home with a hollow tooth for €20 per person?!

Second time with shawarma, luckily this "shawarma farmer" understood!! Deliciously seasoned meat, several containers of sauce, friendly service. Just as it should be. And the €1.25 the sandwich cost more than yesterday was more than worth it! Would definitely come back here again.

Perhaps the oldest shawarma shop in Alkmaar. I don't think the interior has changed much in all these years. But still high quality shawarma.... I came here in the 70s and 80s to get a sandwich after going out

Delicious shawarma sandwich, the kapsalon was very disappointing because it certainly did not contain the 200 grams of meat that is stated on the price list. Not even 1 ounce! (Comparison was very easy because we also had a shawarma sandwich that also contained 2 ounces of meat and that was at least twice as much as in the hair salon)

Been three times, but no success. Very unfriendly staff and I ordered a Jumbo shawarma. It was half filled with meat and lettuce. Too bad because it is quite good shawarma. Unfortunately I won't be going here anymore.

Jumbo shawarma.......... not even half a pita. And then defraud everything by having € 1 more than the total amount withdrawn. Sad story, I've been coming here since the early 80's. Always, in my opinion, the number 1 shawarma place in Alkmaar. And now, to drop so far. Shame, not necessary.

There was only one type of coffee, they don't know any other types. I asked for spare ribs from the menu, they didn't have them either. And the food was very salty. The next day I had cramps in my intestines, so something had gone wrong. Pita breads were tasty, nice that you get various sauces with them.

As usual, shawarma was delicious with a glass of milk.

Ordered a jumbo shawarma sandwich, but got a standard sandwich with a little shawarma in it, for almost 9 euros. My friend had a large hair salon, but the container was only just over half full. There was no taste and there were strange tough pieces of meat. Disappointing for the amount we paid, we will not order from here again.

Mediocre shawarma. We ordered an extra large shawarma sandwich, but received a standard sandwich with perhaps a little more meat than a normal one. We were allowed to pay 8.75 per sandwich for this. Taste was mediocre. Seemed like ah meat. The tray with four types of sauces was positive. But all in all not worth the price. We felt somewhat lifted. Too bad. We won't be coming back here.

Strange that so many positive posts have been posted, one meat was undercooked, the other tough, the shawarma mediocre, the salad wet and soggy as if it had been kept too cold and the fries were strangely discoloured. Even if it were cheaper, we wouldn't order from here again. It was far below expectations on all counts. We assume that the fact that we had to wait 60 minutes is a one-off.

Excellent food and served by wonderful people! My go to spot to end after a night out but also a very valid option for a great dinner.

Al 40 jaar de beste ! Redelijke prijzen & goede kwaliteit eten. Geschikt om met de hele familie te eten en je kan er eventueel ook wedstrijden kijken als je dat wilt, ze hebben alle kanalen. Verder is de personeel vriendelijk en netjes.

Delicious! We took the lamb Kebab and it was amazing. It comes with several souces which all were unique and good as well. The lady that served us was the most patient and nice. She took real good care of us and was ready to answer every question with a smile. Definitely worth visiting again!

Small and cozy restaurant hidden away a bit between de Laat and De Lange Straat in Alkmaar. Great Shoarma and the ideal place to go to after a night on the town.

Dit restaurant heeft de allerbeste shoarma van Alkmaar. Ze zijn alleen slecht bereikbaar met de auto. Maar bij een shoarmaschotel eet je je vingers er bij op.

Een prima broodje na het uitgaan. Kwaliteit is prima, service goed. Niet al te druk ivm andere tenten.
