Had a good meal, but quite pricey for what you get. I chose a toasted sandwich with chicken, pesto, and cheese. However, the pesto seemed to come from a jar, and the chicken breast was just the slices you take to work/school on your own sandwich. Tip: use homemade pesto; it's incredibly simple to make and much tastier! Also, use thicker slices of (smoked) chicken breast. That elevates the sandwich. I could have made this toasted sandwich at home for less than 9 euros. Otherwise, the service is fine, and it's a nice place to sit!

Very cozy spot in the shopping center

We had lunch there with 3 adults and 2 kids and it was delicious. I saw negative experiences with the staff in other reviews, but personally, I don't agree with that at all. The two ladies were actually super sweet and were very helpful! In the heat, we sat outside under a nice parasol, but the air conditioning inside would have been nicer haha. The atmosphere was great and the food was tasty and fresh. The only thing I missed on my roast beef omelet was some butter underneath. It was a bit dry this way. Anyway, everyone enjoyed themselves and we will definitely be back. (The iced coffee and smoothies here are absolutely delicious!) The toilets were clean.

A particularly nice little spot to enjoy a good coffee, a soft drink, or a delicious lunch. We have been there 5 or 6 times in the last six months, and every time it is exceptionally clean, with nice portions and good value for money. We keep coming back weekly now.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was not good. The staff was unfriendly and I did not feel welcome. Also, the drinks were of poor quality and did not meet my expectations. I hope that the restaurant will improve both the service and the quality of the drinks in the future.

It is a pleasant place to sit, both inside and outside. The food is also delicious. It is just a shame that some staff members are not very friendly, rather rude. It is a real pity because it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

The place to be at De Eglantier shopping center in Apeldoorn. At least, if you want a nice lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Well, I don't think it's a nice place. Until they said I made this whole mess while it wasn't like that, to make fun of me because I have a disability, then they laugh at you too. That's the second time, and until that drinking and stuff... they are unfriendly staff. Do I think that's a shitty place? I'm not coming back. And until they also said that I stank, but I can't help it. That's because of my medication and sugar.

There is a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and good service. They regularly ask if everything is to our liking and if we would like another drink, but not in an annoying way.

Had a delicious lunch. It was busy, though; we were lucky that a table just became available. It is understandable that it was busy, the food and drinks there are delicious!

The croc Madame bread was so dried out so hard that it snapped off.

Friendly, welcoming staff, and the carpaccio salad is highly recommended. I also regularly come here for my fried eggs, and the salmon was delicious the other day! Oh yeah, I ordered a Sillies burger menu this week. Delicious too!

What a grumpy owner, and certainly rude to the customers from what I witnessed. It's a shame, but it's a nice place.

The drinks and snacks are fine. But the grumpy face of the owner spoils the whole experience. Once, but never again.

It looks nice and could be a cozy place, but the music was very loud. When we asked if we could turn it down a bit, we were told that the owner is very strict about that and didn't know where to turn it down. Apparently, we'd been asked before, but the owner absolutely refuses to allow it. So we just had a few drinks and skipped lunch. The Dirty Chai Latte was delicious.

I arrived. We were just stopping by for a drink. Because the bike could be repaired quickly. At the bike shop. They said, "Have a seat." We waited a very long time before even placing an order. I walked up to the counter to ask if I could order something. Both of them were very curt and quick to respond. I ordered a Divaccino. Frozen milk with honey. But I actually got a tiny glass of frothed milk, maybe even a third of the glass, but it seemed full. From a normal small drinking glass. It was gone within three sips. The honey was a tiny bag. Not even good honey. I didn't expect it to be. The bag was really small. And yes, you pay €3.50 for it. I think it's very overpriced for what I get. I understand that everything is getting extremely expensive. But this beats everything for a little milk.

We stumbled upon Sillies, but it was anything but silly... what a fantastic place! Super friendly staff, delicious food, a great atmosphere, and a menu full of hilarious puns; what more could you ask for?! Long story short: don't miss it if you're in Apeldoorn!

First, I received something different than I'd ordered (it happens), but the reaction to that was absolutely unacceptable. What an unfriendly woman! When I wanted to pay, I asked to see the receipt first. She looked at me as if I was speaking a different language and told me in a very unfriendly tone that it had already been deducted. That was the last straw for me—I won't be returning.

Last Saturday we celebrated our 60th birthdays. Everything we had planned was done quickly. Two fantastic ladies from the team took care of us that evening, and how wonderfully! A warm welcome, and everyone was provided with delicious snacks and drinks. We were delighted, and so were our guests.

This family-friendly restaurant is located in the De Eglantier shopping center in Apeldoorn. Toys are available for younger children. It's usually quite busy, and the tables are a bit close together.

Three of us dined here on a Friday evening. The food was incredibly good. The butter cake with tea was also delicious!

Friendly staff. Always a spot available. Nice menu. Cozy seating. Never had lunch, but often had coffee. Not too expensive. All in all, a place I enjoy visiting.

Great spot! Too bad they close so early (6:00 PM) on a Saturday. Not ideal for a quiet dinner, Friday is already a plus! Unfortunately, it's closed today (a rainy Sunday). Extending the opening hours would be a good solution and would bring in more customers! Especially on weekends.

A lovely place to relax after all the shopping in the Egelantier area, good service, delicious food and they are very friendly

Sillies is a beautiful and cozy lunchroom where you can sit comfortably inside or outside for a snack or drink. It's best to make a reservation on weekends if you want to sit there around lunchtime, as it's often full. It's a great place for both children and adults, as they have a fun play area for the kids. The staff is very friendly.

Last Saturday was Pasar Malam in Apeldoorn on Eglantierplein. We stood across from Sillies for a while and wanted something to drink with them. All the tables outside were occupied, so I decided to buy a drink inside (there were a few people inside). A waitress saw me walking by and asked if she could help me. I told her I wanted to order a drink. She said she couldn't because I wasn't sitting at a table. So I walked towards the door to go outside. Almost outside, I ran into another waitress who asked if she could help me. I said no, because I just spoke to your colleague. She replied that her colleague had told her to help me. So I told her again that I wanted to order. I got the message again that it wasn't possible because I wasn't sitting at a table. So I said, "I want to buy a drink and I don't need to sit down." The waitress said, "No, I can't, and we're very busy." I said, "Oh, that's strange, money is money, right?" To which she replied, "You don't have to come here." I said, "That's very arrogant," and then I left. Well, Sillies, you won't be seeing me again. Thanks for your terrible way of treating customers.

Delicious food, comfortable seating, and friendly staff. The smoothies and iced coffee are also delicious. I do find the alcoholic cocktails a bit pricey here. I can get them cheaper in the city center. The flammkuchen and sandwiches are well-filled and beautifully presented. The terrace is nice, and it's cozy downstairs. I find the atmosphere upstairs rather dull. They should do something about that. It's a shame the entire terrace isn't always open in nice weather. All in all, highly recommended.

Cozy and nice place to have lunch. I have been here regularly, and actually never had anything that was not good. It always tastes great. In my opinion, a lot of care is taken. Staff is always up for a chat. I definitely recommend Sillies. 👍🏻

Ordered a worthless sandwich, inedible, very crumbly, much too dry and you have to search for what was in between, a disgrace to serve someone something like that for that money

On a busy Friday afternoon, the stress among the staff and the dissatisfaction at the tables around us were clearly palpable. When we showed with the parking ticket that we had waited 50 minutes with children for our lunch, apologies were made but no form of compensation was offered. What should have been a relaxing lunch turned into a headache afternoon. Very unfortunate.

We were sitting upstairs, it is not cozy there. It really reminded me of a canteen. Unfortunately, the order did not go well either. When ordering, we told them what we wanted, an 'insmijter' with the bacon fried in the egg, without ham and cheese. The first time it came with ham and cheese, the bacon not fried. The second time it came without the ham and cheese, but still the bacon not fried. It could have been put in the oven for a while, but that is not what we had ordered. The third time came exactly the same and it was first said that the bacon was fried, but we showed that this was not the case and then they immediately said that this was not possible at all. That is not a problem if that is not possible, but say so immediately when ordering. In the end we ordered something else (a toasted sandwich). When paying we asked for the receipt, when we checked it later, it turned out that we had been charged for the 'insmijter' instead of the toasted sandwich. It was only €4.00, but it really makes the overall experience bad.

Because this restaurant had a good reputation, we went there for lunch. The food was nothing special: an omelette that also fit on one sandwich and the loaded fries consisted of mainly dry ingredients and a dash of sauce that fit on a teaspoon. Friendly service, one of whom was chewing chewing gum. Not really a nice sight. But what beats everything was that it was dusty and dirty, with bits of toilet paper on the stairs to the, certainly not clean, toilets. So there is room for improvement.

Had a whiskey tasting organized by Gall&Gall. Too bad it became a mass production. Too many people in Sillies! The snacks provided by Sillies were served without atmosphere. Certainly not worth repeating in this setup.

Horrible place. After living in the city center for 3 years, this was the biggest disappointment. First, my mother went there because they were doing some work on my house. Staff threw coffee and something like a croquette sandwich in front of her. (woman was 76 at the time) it was nice otherwise. I said, mom, don't be so sensitive. Until I got there myself. They really put their asses in the way that you're out before six o'clock. Last summer I was enjoying myself at their place outside. I wanted to order something. It was 4 p.m. No, we're going to close because it's too hot🤮🤮😑 Ridiculous! In the winter they don't want you in after 5 p.m. So often I and my friends have been told, we're going to close. To which I said, six o'clock is six o'clock. This place will go bankrupt if they continue like this. The owner is such a nasty man. And then that so-called chef, who stands with his face to the ground. Yes, he really wants to do it There were nice girls but now. There is one who rolls her eyes when you come in. I almost wanted to ask if she had an eye problem, and that she should have them checked at an optician. But as usual I kept my mouth shut. With this one, I prefer to take the bus and go to Jules Verne or Et Let Café de Paris. The service there is perfect. And warm. And I am used to luxury. You won't find that here. The people here with their 5 stars are clearly not used to anything. Good for them. But I still advise them to look further, than just sitting on the boring eglantier. Bye. Good luck sillie sillies. Learn a lesson from this. Finally, I know a lot of people, who have the same experience as me. Good luck in the future! And don't talk to me, because that is also going around. Free country

A wonderful place for lunch or dinner of a quality that might not be expected in a shopping center. And a wine/dinner package on Friday, delicious, we are looking forward to it!

Vandaag hier gezellig eten, dacht ik. Salade was smakeloos, flammkuchen idem. Bediening was aardig. Vreselijk veel stof overal. Geen aardigheid aan. Duur en smakeloos op alle fronten.

Locatie ziet er gezellig uit, zeer vriendelijke jonge bediening alleen het eten was ronduit slecht. De Poke bowl voor € 14,- bestond uit een bol ijskoude kleffe smakeloze rijst, wat mais en edamame boontjes uit blik, stukjes tomaat en komkommer zonder dressing en toppings en een paar gefrituurde kipnuggets met een pipetje soja saus.

During our visit around noon on Wednesday, I arrived to a booth full of women. Wow, men are not allowed here, luckily I saw another one and I knew I was welcome after all. The first floor was closed only open for the toilets. The service was fast and correct. The menu was clear, with prices in the middle segment. I found the visually present kitchen to be a small downside, but that is a personal opinion. The portions were more than sufficient in size. Nice lunch location for with your mother or a friend.

Een onvoldoende! Als volwassene mag je niet een portie poffertjes bestellen, als kind wel. Vervolgens is het niet mogelijk om de soep van de dag te bestellen terwijl deze op de kaart staat. Klantvriendelijker was het geweest dat als je met een groep van 9 personen komt het wel mogelijk te maken dat er een portie poffertjes besteld kan worden: er wordt immers goed verdiend aan zo'n grote groep. Jammer!

We have been coming there for years, but unfortunately we have to conclude today that the price/quality is lacking. The recipes have been updated, but the taste is gone and the sandwiches are a lot smaller. I suspect cheaper and fewer ingredients. But prices keep rising. Shame. It's a fun thing. It was never cheap but the quality made up for it. Now the picture is no longer correct for us.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner. The service and food was the worst I've ever had. The salmon was terrible and I ate all of it in one bite and never touched it again, none of the waiters recognized what was wrong and just brought the bill. The amount of sauce and salmon is not proportional, I did not even taste the fish itself, one sauce Service in general leaves much to be desired, except that they put plates and water to say nothing. It was a pity to give 70 euros for nothing, for a piece of bread with butter and salad that was off to the salmon. It is a pity that it happened at all and we will not come here again.

A cozy coffee bar in the Eglantier shopping center. You can sit inside and outside. The menu is varied: hot and cold drinks, alcoholic drinks, brunch and lunch dishes and of course delicious desserts. Coffee is nice and strong, with a free pastry. Atmosphere is anything but boring. A cozy style is enriched with various special furniture and decorations. The lighting is warm - think of a summer afternoon. Employees are very friendly. The prices are average. It can get quite busy here, especially if you like a bit of privacy.

Great location for a snack and drink. Good food. Not too expensive. Too bad that staff smoke in the doorway. Then cross the street and it won't bother anyone.

What a great company, a really nice atmosphere of peace and happiness, nice staff, we were with the little one and they just make the bottle incredible, what a service, the food is good, clean, neat, I will definitely go here more often.
