Simonis op de Boulevard in Wijk 02 Belgisch Park

13,50 per bakje vet ( kibbeling ) Personeel dat zeer onvriendelijk is, en met elkaar vooral erg veel lol heeft. Bijna 40 euro voor 2 bakjes, 2 cola en een frikadel. Binnen hangt een papier op dat je niet aan de meeuwen mag voeren. De meeuwen hebben meer van de kibbeling op, dan wij dat hebben. Dit was echt heel erg slecht. Tevens is het totaal niet duidelijk waar je moet bestellen, en waar je moet wachten. Als je blijkbaar niet goed staat, wordt je hierop gewezen op een niet nette manier. Dit was meteen de laatste keer dat we hier geweest zijn.

Even nostalgie… even bij Simonis een visje eten, denk je dan. Maar wat blijkt, denk dat het frituurvet ook nostalgisch is te noemen, want volgens mij is dat ronduit oud. Zonde van de bijna 20 euro voor een lekkerbek en een bakje mosseltjes.. maar ze gaan toch in de vuilnisbak. Super jammer! Op naar een restaurant

Heel jammer en teleurstellend. Een grote bak Kibbeling voor €13,50 geserveerd in een heel Klein bakje! Hooguit 6 stukjes pasten in het bakje. Bij navraag was dit toch echt de grote portie. Schandalig en Simonis onwaardig.

Ich hatte eine kleine Flasche Wein bestellt, nur auf Nachfrage gab es von der Bedienung einen Plastikbecher. Im Außenbereich alles von dem Möven beschissen, ziemlich unsauber. Die Preise haben vom letzten Jahr um ca 40% angezogen, Portion Kibbeling mit Pommes stolze 19€ ! in der Vergangenheit hatten wir sehr gute Erfahrungen mit Simonis, aber jetzt werden wir nie mehr dort essen.

ronduit vies. Jeutje van Simonis verwacht ik toch enige kwaliteit. Maar dit is gewoon goor. De frituur smaakt oud en de kleur van het gefrituurde is donkerbruin. Ik snap hier echt niks van. ik heb inmiddels gewoon buikloop ervan. Misschien tijd voor een bezoek van de inspectie?

Great location and delicious seafood with chips. Very large portions. The ordering system is slightly chaotic and could be better. I recommend the shrimps (really big!) and mussels. Some portions were slightly overcooked but the large portions and sauces were great. Really enjoyable to eat outside with the fresh pier air for the lovely seaside experience

Gourmet food for €10.50. With very sweet (and yellow?) ravigotte sauce. The sauce is not tasty. The gourmet: Good crust. Juicy fish of good quality. Not too much fish seasoning added. Delicious. Dirty pigeons: pooping on tables and benches. Pay attention to that.

Nastiest kibbeling I have ever eaten in my life, kibbeling from Simonis is actually baked twice and they sell a small one for 8.50 with 4 pieces of double-baked kibbeling that is completely burnt, you should be ashamed of yourself for what you sell to people. But you expect something from the fishmonger who always boasts about herring. De kibbeling was echt niet lekker. Geen idee welke compacte vis ze gebruiken naar het was echt niet lekker. Ik heb dus €8,50 euro betaald voor geen idee wat. Geen aanrader dus.

Tafels zijn vies, patat is niet lekker, vis is te vet. En belachelijk duur. Voor 2 schotels, een los patatje en 3 drankjes betaalde ik 60 euro! Nooit meer ga ik daar heen.

Wir wollten eigentlich etwas Essen. Leider geschlossen! Weder auf der Website, noch im Internet, noch am Fenster - an der Tür, ein Hinweis - da steht man dann dumm da!

This major player in Scheveningen charges abnormal prices, other than that there are only foreigners working there and they are very antisocial, they don't look at you and they gave a 5 euro tip on those high prices and they don't even say thank you and they don't even give you a glance.

I used to love this place, have come for years, but everything seems to have changed. The fish used to be prepared fresh but now they have piles of it pre-fried and sitting out at what cannot be food-safe temperatures. My fish and calamari was warm on the outside, room temperature internally, and chewy instead of crispy. The customer service was horrible as well. They forgot to put the spices on the fish and got my sauce wrong which can happen but it was obvious that he wasn’t well-trained behind the register. You pay more than €30 for two people and they won’t give you a tray to carry anything on and I watched them be really rude to an elderly woman and a man in a wheelchair (that she needed to push) that badly needed a tray. First they ignored her to chat with each other and then when they did come over, they refused to give her a tray or otherwise help. They told her to put her food on the table and come back for the rest of her order but if you do that, it’ll be attacked by seagulls. In Dutch they say “het was echt schandalig.” Shameful. I truly expect better from such a well known and generally loved company. After this experience, I’ll never come back to this location.

Used to be great place, now the waitress handing the orders is screaming the numbers like crazy, I was becoming deaf just by waiting for my order (which took around 30 for some fried kibbeling), people gathered around the counter are making even bigger chaos. How much would it cost to have a display with a waiting schedule as they have in fast food chains? It would make it waaaay more organised. By the way if you offer seating, you should take care of it, I know some people can be pigs, but if you have tables CLEAN them from time to time.

I loved the fries and the Haring, I paid for both 8€ for the fish is OK but over prized for the fries. Employees are friendly and they work with a ticket system which is great so you know when you're order us ready. It's also nice to sit on the terrace 👌😁 coming back again

I was here yesterday and it was really a drama. The staff is more concerned with gossiping than working. It took way too long to get your food. I received a cold kibbeling dish which made it disgusting and unedible. The seagulls come at you and the tables were super dirty. We hadden 3 kibbelingschotels besteld, meer dan 50 euro. De kibbeling had nauwelijks smaak. Het leek alsof de kibbeling nog een keer opgewarmd was waardoor de smaak van de kruiden voor een groot deel verdwenen was. Het korstje was ook een beetje donker van kleur. De binnenkant was wel mooi wit. Er liep wel voortdurend iemand rond om de tafels schoon te maken. En klanten werden bij het afhalen van de bestelling gewaarschuwd voor meeuwen die soms met succes aanvielen op het eten. Vanwege de smaak niet voor herhaling vatbaar voor ons.

Kibbeling was quite tasteless. Seemed to have warmed up.

Solide Frittenranch. Man weiß hier was man bekommt. Alles schön holländisch frittiert. Es gibt Kibbelinge, Backfisch usw. Da man weiß was man bekommt, ist es solide. Ein Schnellimbiss halt.

Het eten is prima maar de tafels zijn echt vies en worden net schoongemaakt, dus als je hier zou gaan eten neem het dan liever gewoon mee

I ate the prawn menu, it was very tasty but very pricey. Also ate a portion of mussels, which were slightly less for the high price, but very satisfied with everything. And it was a quiet day so no line at all and the wait for the food was about 10 minutes.

What bad service! I order a large portion of kibbeling and take a bite of it and it tasted raw. So I went back and got the answer: this is pangasisus so it should be like that. I paid for cod and am allergic to pangasisus. While I can hear it, one of the employees says yes, nonsense, she just doesn't like it. As if I were going to lie... Finally got a tasty treat. And they indicated that they received this this morning. It would be nice to mention that in advance....

You don't have to come here for the bickering. Of all Simonis branches, this is really the worst. The kibbeling is already pre-fried, which results in far too oily and dry kibbeling every time. And that for the main prize. I don't mind paying for quality, but I have to keep looking for it every chance I give them. The fish salad nowadays is stuffed with potato salad and various smoked mackerel and white fish that are not very tasty and way too salty. There is only 1 piece of the eel left, the same goes for the smoked salmon. Previously it still contained Dutch shrimps and these have also been cut back. What is still tasty are the fried prawns (without dough). For 2 people without drinks you easily pay €50. No toilet available.

Unfortunately very expensive and the quality is okay but unfortunately not as good as I remembered. 16€ for fries with kibbeling is a bit much, even for a beach location…

How is it possible that Simonis sells such good quality fish at the harbor and Simonis sells that rubbish at the boulevard? €20.00 for 2 small containers with waste and a can of coke.

Vor einigen Jahren waren wir schon mal da und haben eigentlich ganz ordentlich Fisch mit Fritten gegessen, diesmal das mit Abstand schlechteste Essen in dieser Form erlebt: Fisch nur teilweise gegart, vollkommen fettig, Kibbeling dick überzogen mit merkwürdiger Gewürzmischung, etc.: ungenießbar!
