Sint Martinushoes in Wijk 05 Buitenwijk Noordoost

We ate here via a Social Deal. The carpaccio was generously topped and the meat was good. For the main course, we had steak; both medium rare and medium were prepared as requested and tasted great. The herb butter with the steak is highly recommended!! The atmosphere is good, and the staff are incredibly friendly. The food arrived quickly, but if you wanted to wait a little while for the next course, that was possible with pleasant consultation.

Very good lunch, but the entrance was difficult to find.

I stopped there for a bite to eat. I chose the beef carpaccio with arugula. However, it was covered in truffle mayonnaise. I hate truffles, and there was absolutely NO indication that they were in it. So, one of two things: who puts truffles in carpaccio, and more importantly, why wasn't it mentioned? To top it all off, there wasn't even a single beer or wine on the drinks menu. I won't be going back.
