Sirtaki Den Haag This was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had. We were welcomed with ouzo from the start 😂 The waiter was exceptionally friendly, recommending that we share the mixed grill, which included also a bite of moussaka. The complimentary buffet offered a variety of delicious salads, and we ordered extra feta, which was the richest and most flavorful feta I've ever tasted (and I’ve had a lot of Greek food!) To top it off, we received a mini bottle of ouzo as well. Best Greek restaurant in The Hague so far! 💖

Dirty tables, my pregnant wife got a shot glass with uzo shoved in front of her nose, everything, absolutely everything, is fried. Starter and main course for two; €100. Simply not worth it and not special, very unfortunate. I will advise everyone around me not to dine here.

You can walk in here without a reservation and even if it is busy; there is a spot right away. The service is very warm and fast! The dishes are good and they are certainly not small portions. Nice service with a Greek smile :-)

The food is great! Very much like original Greek. The staff also very friendly and warm, made us feel at home. The portions were a bit small but it is not unexpected, so overall definitely recommend!

A restaurant that has been around for 40 years and may seem a bit "old-fashioned", but on the other hand it gives the atmosphere. Service is accessible and patient. They are also willing to tell something about the history, including that of the Greek gods :-). For us it was also a bit of nostalgia because when I was little I often walked past. Now that I have not lived in The Hague for years and we went here for a meal, nice memories came back and that while enjoying good food and drinks. Personally I say to recommend.

The owner is beyond arrogance, just starts shouting at my wife, reserved, and we have to wait 15 minutes before we are spoken to, and then in this way, never again!!

Food is tasty, but that's it. Employees act grumpy and keep asking if you are ready yet. I often go to Greece, but this is my first experience. I really got the feeling that we were not welcome. I had to ask for pitas 3 times and still didn't get one even though the answer was okay. Really not recommended, a real disappointment

Sirtaki is still a great Greek restaurant and has been around since 1985. Very friendly staff who have been working there since the beginning, delicious authentic Greek dishes and a great atmosphere. And on evenings with live music, the atmosphere is especially enhanced. Because then of course the Sirtaki is danced. Preferably with as many guests as possible, who, after a short explanation, dance along as many tables as possible. But if you prefer to eat at home, delivery or pickup is also an option.

We eat here regularly, now ordering takeout. But this trio of fish for € 14.50 was very poor. Hope there is some more in the future.

Food was delicious. Meat was nice and tender. Service was good despite the crowds. Because the room can quickly fill up, it affects the atmosphere a bit for a highly sensitive person like me. Despite that, we had a pleasant evening.

The food was abundant, but mediocre. The salmon dish even seemed spoiled. Obviously not eaten. The meat dishes were dry and flat in terms of spices. The starters were tasty.

We had a really delicious meal and the staff was really friendly.

Food was great, however we waited over an hour for our appetisers as the waiter forgot our order completely.

My daughter and I had mix meat and mix fish. We asked if my daughter could have calamaris instead of pangasius. Woman spoke little Dutch and said she would send someone to explain how the salad bar works. Never seen again. Daughter gets pangasius with only calamari. No scampi. It was busy and we were hungry, so I didn't say anything. During dinner I ask for a red wine. I received this half an hour later. Food was already gone. Daughter asks for dessert menu. After half an hour still no dessert menu. We walk to the cash register to pay for dessert and hand it over and the boss says sorry. That's all. So good food and bad service for 85 euros. Never come here again.

Starter 5 pieces of bread with some lettuce leaves as a garnish for 7 euros... dinner little meat. Way too well done and gyros too salty. Fish nothing special. Can also be made at home, tastier and much cheaper. Complained, response "that's a shame". never go there again

We ate here several times during our holiday and that certainly says something! Friendly people who work hard and full of passion. Enjoyed it every time!

Went on Saturday evening with 11 people. It was very busy but pleasant. And the food was great. We all ate a lot and were all full and very satisfied afterwards.

I recently visited this restaurant and was impressed by the nice atmosphere and the extremely fast and efficient service. The staff was not only quick but also attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. The ambiance was relaxing, which added to the overall dining experience. If you’re looking for a place with both a pleasant environment and excellent service, this is a spot worth trying! It can be a little noisy but it’s part of the atmosphere 🤷 overall happy with the food and everything else too. Great desserts too!

Good and tasty food. Staff regularly came to see if they could do anything for us. When we wanted dessert, it took a very long time, so we finally asked for the bill.

Cozy restaurant, friendly staff. You will be warmly welcomed here and served well. And as usual you get a glass of ouzo. The food is very tasty and definitely recommended. There is also a small salad bar where you can get a free salad.

Gyros was not really tasty, a lot of fat, and quite expensive. Small example, 6 euros for a small slober wine... A bit of a shame...

I’m extremely disappointed in the service at this restaurant and how they handle customers. My wife called (via phone) to order two mixed grill portions to eat in the restaurant, which seemed to confuse the staff. The first person who answered the phone handed it over to another employee, who was rude and rejected her request. When my wife offered to pick up the food instead (even saying it in Dutch: meeneem), the response was still rude, telling her to “make up her mind” and call back when she knew what she wanted. I then called back personally to place the same order, and they easily calculated the costs for dining in and picking up. I made sure they understood how much business they were losing due to their poor service. When I asked why this wasn’t possible earlier when my wife called, they claimed it was a “misunderstanding” and that she didn’t know what she wanted, which is completely false since I was there for the entire conversation. The only difference is that the staff seemed to treat my wife differently, which comes across as sexist. The conversation ended with the staff member threatening to report my phone number to the police because he didn’t like how I spoke to him, adding, “This is the Netherlands.” This level of arrogance is unacceptable. As a business, you should know that the customer is always right, and even if someone is unsure of what they want (though she knew exactly!), it’s your job to help them, not reject them. You should be reported for this instead and have your business shut down. Bare in mind that we did eat there once, the food was fine, and we even considered returning, but those people do not represent Dutch values for sure! Far from the real value and culture that this place should offer.

Very noisy and very "ongezellig". Food was terrible, no vegetables with the salmon, overpriced and no plant milk alternative for coffee. Won't be back!

Always delicious. You really get a lot! Honest and kind people. We wanted the 2ps. Order appetizers 3 times, but they said 2 times is really enough for the entire table and that was certainly true. There is always room, even though it is always busy there! Quality top. Welcome drink also remains a special thing there, even a small non-alcohol shot for the Kids. We also sometimes order and then pick up, which is also great.

I'm not really into Greek food myself. But I had the pan of chicken and it was very tasty The restaurant has a cozy and cozy interior where you can sit comfortably. The service is great and the atmosphere is very relaxing.

We have been coming here regularly for about ten years now. And we usually pick up. Quality of the meat is constant. Always good, nicely seasoned and tender. Staff is very friendly, always with a smile. You feel welcome and immediately receive a glass of Ouzo. In the photo the delicious Hermes mixed grill dish. Picked up. We absolutely recommend Sirtaki.

When we are in the Netherlands, a visit to Sirtaki is always a good choice. Delicious Greek cuisine and nice staff. Always my pleasure.

The place reminded me of a Greek taverna with the thick wooden beams. On arrival we were offered ouzo (and a shot of sirup-based juice for the children), which added to the atmosphere. The waiters very super busy because it was quite packed. Towards the end of the evening, the staff invited the customers to join in when they danced the “Sirtaki”. We ordered a meat platter for 5 and it could have easily fed 7, so the portion sizes are very generous. The dessert was filling and was served with a good dollop of cream and vanilla ice cream.

What an atmospheric affair. Very busy and very good local vibe. Food was more than sufficient with friendly service. Gem in this neighborhood.

Our restaurant for years when we want to celebrate something, still wonderfully friendly staff and good service. Parking is a bit more difficult but it is located in the middle of a residential area. Pickup also great, done more than once.

They have been around for so long, you expect things to run smoothly. Had to wait more than half an hour for a reserved spot, order that was misunderstood. There's a shortage of staff, etc. This shouldn't be possible. friendly people etc etc, but I really doubt whether I will go again, too bad. Tip; discover it yourself. Maybe it won't bother you as much! Definitely good in terms of food!

Good food, 👍 just a pity that a completely different dish was brought to our table first, then I got my food first and my son almost 10 minutes later... and that was not the chicken skewer... it came another 10 minutes later... by that time I had already eaten half... it was also my birthday, so quite a shame! So chicken skewer was not on the middle plate, only the giros...

Very decent. The bechamel on the moussaka was too consistent. I didn't like that. In general the moussaka is avoidable, it was the only really disappointing thing. Meat is good, tho. And cooked to a perfect point, specially the lamb. Staff works fast, pays attention and they are nice. Overall good. The place is noisy but nothing unbearable

I ate here before and we had a pleasent experience so i wanted to try it again with a muslim friend of mine. They told me before they had halal options and one of the waiters told us the chicken was halal but he was gonna ask just to be sure. Then an older looking guy came to our table and said very rudely that this isn't a muslim restaurant as if he didn't want us to be there. When i told him i was told they had halal options he demanded to know who it was and then just left our table without saying anything else. Me and my friend felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave but then the older guy told us we needed to pay for our drinks since they "already openend it" it was 2 cola's i doubt they wouldn't have been able to give them to anyone else. Anyway after this experience i am never gonna bring any friends to this place again or come myself. I was disgusted with this behaviour and it really shows how to drive a restaurant out of business.

Just tried it again after 2 years, but Jesus, that restaurant has become bad, 4 types of meat, all 4 the same nasty taste, all 4 completely dried out!! Took a bite of everything and threw it in the trash, and by bad I mean really really bad!!!

Wat mag je van een griek verwachten ??? Een kelner met echt vieze handen, een meer dan onverzorgd en luidruchtig voorkomen. Huiswijn waar je de ramen mee kan zemen omdat deze zuurder zijn dan de azijn waar de koolsalade mee wordt aangemaakt. Helaas vragen ze voor hier ook nog behoorlijk geld voor. Het eten verder was smakelijk, grote porties voor een prima prijs. Ze zaak bestaat al sinds 1985 en dat is zeker te zien…… een frisse wind door de zaak met verzorgd personeel zou niet misstaan.

De Griek is normaal gesproken om even binnen te lopen, zoals we ook deze keer deden, maar dit is niet zomaar een Griek. We werden erg vriendelijk onthaald door de uitstekende bediening, maar de kwaliteit van het eten was vooral boven alle verwachtingen. Heerlijk mals vlees dat niet vettig is, snel na bestellen op tafel kwam en precies de goede hoeveelheid

Wel goede Griek qua eten. Had alleen graag wat meer welkom gevoeld. Was 1 man in de bediening en die was leuk en vriendelijk en ging ook enthousiast dansen met de gasten. Maar de rest gaf je het gevoel dat je zo welkom was als een scheet in een ruimte pak
