Cozy, friendly, atmospheric, delicious food and excellent coffee. Even Ollie the dog is a fan and wants to visit the seasonings on every walk.

Walking into this cafe felt like walking into a cozy house. Everyone was incredibly nice and the coffee was great. I was looking for a nice place to grab coffee near my apartment and I believe I have found the perfect one. I’ll definitely come back!

So we decided to have our morning coffe and sandwich here. This place is the cutest I’ve ever been. The staff is really welcoming and kind. And the message of the café is heartwarming. It was the best decision for our breakfast. Thank you very much!!

I recently visited this charming cafe and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is beautifully classic and calm, creating the perfect setting to relax and enjoy a break. The Dutch owner, who also serves, was warm and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the service that made me feel right at home. I tried the iced coffee and the homemade mandarin tart, both of which were absolutely delicious. The tart, in particular, had a fresh, authentic flavor that was a real treat. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a cozy spot with excellent service and delightful homemade treats.

We were looking for a café for 15 people as part of a family vacation. We quickly found what we were looking for via Google Maps and came across Smaakmakers. We were immediately charmed by the food, service and ambience. With the playground right next to the café, it is a great destination for the family. Next time you visit Eindhoven, I’ll be happy to do it again👍🏻

I can't help but agree with all the positive reviews, what a great and cozy coffee cafe. Smaakmakers is located in a very nice location in a nice cozy neighborhood in Eindhoven, this atmosphere continues in the café or on the terrace if the weather permits. The food and drinks are delicious and you notice that there is a lot of passion and love in it, and this also applies to the people with dementia who gain confidence and self-esteem here, you see the pride when they serve. Very nice and cozy family tea/coffe place. It is nice for coffee, tea and small bites. Expect very warm and thoughtful service :). Not very common feeling in the Netherlands nowadays. So try it out ;)

This weekend I went to Smaakmakers for the umpteenth time - such a great café! Lovingly furnished, friendly people and a great atmosphere. The coffee, the food and the constantly changing cakes are a highlight every time! If you're looking for a café with passion, the best egg salad in the city and delicious coffee, you've come to the right place - everything is freshly prepared and totally familiar, a real top recommendation! :)

I'd rather not tell you how much I enjoy eating here: I'm afraid I won't be able to find a place next time... In short, a nice concept, good food, good atmosphere. The only downside: room temperature of 23 degrees zero C is a bit too warm for my taste...

Absolutely great! Very friendly and pleasant staff. We had coffee, tea, two drinks, a bread platter and a pastry each and we spent less than 22 euros. Price quality is really great. Highly recommended!

Wat een overheerlijke high tea hebben we daar gehad! Echt een verrassende aanrader en meer dan genoeg. Wij lunchen regelmatig daar omdat het zo’n fijne plek is. Dat dan alles ook nog eens zelfgemaakt is, is natuurlijke helemaal een culinair cadeautje 🩷👌🏻🩷👌🏻🩷 Draag ze sowieso een warm hart toe omdat ze hier ook dagbesteding geven aan mensen met dementie. Daar geven ze ook graag alle info over.

Waar moet ik beginnen bij deze review jaa uiteraard bij het begin. Ik kom hier zo af en toe een latte machiato to go halen. En wat een genot om hier je bakje koffie te halen! De mensen moeder en dochter zijn super lief! En de koffie is geweldig! Ook het koffie zaakje vind ik super gezellig aangekleed! Als je in de buurt bent moet je zeker een keer langs gaan.

Wat een heerlijke plek om naar toe te gaan voor koffie en gebak. De volgende keer ga ik lunchen :-)! Eigenaresses zijn moeder en dochter, je ziet zoveel bezieling en vreugde. Een pareltje in Eindhoven!!

Prachtig initiatief! Echt fantastische service met veel liefde. Het eten is ook super lekker. Dít is nu echt een koffiezaak die iets toevoegt aan de wijk.

Wat een leuk plekje zeg!! Na een mooie ochtendwandeling heb ik hier een koffie en een croissantje besteld. Beide waren heerlijk, de serveersters waren erg vriendelijk en het interieur was erg knus.

Smaakmakers is een fantastisch concept, gerund door 2 power vrouwen en tante Ellie. Het eten is super lekker en het ziet er zo gezellig uit. Ik kan iedereen aanraden om hier lekker te gaan lunchen!

Mooi initiatief en leuke mensen. Ook als je elke keer net voor sluitingstijd komt krijg je toch nog een bakkie 😋

Hidden gem in Woensel-West. Lovely personal that makes you fresh and very affordable food. Highly recommend to ask the flavour of the home made ice tea of that day. Always a nice surprise. Much love in the details, every drink comes with a little sweet or salty snack.

Heerlijk huiselijke, hip retro ingerichte uitnodigende plaats om even een break te nemen. Koffie top, verwennerij smakelijk en de lunchopties klinken ook heerlijk. En dan ook heel aardige bediening! Een plek om vaker terug te komen, I love it.

Soooo ein schönes Café! Es fühlte sich an wie bei Oma im Wohnzimmer - ganz heimelig und einfach wie zuhause. Wie haben uns sofort unglaublich willkommen gefühlt. Und neben den vielen Leckereien, die wir genießen durften, haben sich die drei bezaubernden Frauen, die dieses Café mit so viel Liebe eingerichtet haben und betreiben, auch noch Zeit für ein kleines Pläuschen genommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Eindhoven sind. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

We hebben heerlijk gegeten! De sfeer is enorm gezellig en het initiatief voor de demente ouderen is enorm waardevol! Hopelijk kunnen ze dit verder uitbouwen.

Wat een ontzettend leuke plek is dit. Ik kwam hier met een vriendin wat lunchen en ondanks dat er net een groep binnen was gekomen vlak voordat wij binnenkwamen hoefde wij niet lang te wachten. Uiterst vriendelijke bediening, royale porties met heerlijk vers eten en drinken. Het brood is echt een aanrader met hun eiersalade. De appeltaart met slagroom was ook echt heerlijk! Hier ga ik zeker terug! Edit: ik zie nu ook bij de beschrijving van de eigenaar zelf het prachtige initiatief waar ze hiermee werken. Nog meer redenen om hier terug te komen en voor degene die dit leest: zeker heen gaan!

A jewel that Eindhoven has been missing. Small family run place to make you feel like at auntie's or grandma's. Delicious deserts and food (tested more than several times and the quality is high). And to add to all of this is the cafe's social cause to involve people with dementia. It's not about the money and high prices but about the people, community, good atmosphere and sharing delicious coffee, food and joy.

Heel sfeervol café met een geweldig concept en een kleurrijk interieur, zeer betaalbare prijzen en gezellige bediening. Borden zijn leuk opgemaakt met net dat stapje extra aan details, wij hebben heerlijk gegeten. Zeker een aanrader!

Zo leuk en gezellig! Super lieve dames die keihard hebben gewerkt om er een prachtige zaak van te maken. Een hippe tent met vintage details. Heel sfeervol! Heerlijk geluncht en naderhand nog een lekkere koffie gehad. En oh, de lieve tante van de dames die meehielp, was echt de kers op de taart. Wij komen zeker terug 💛

A super cozy and comfortable place to grab a coffee and some delicious apple pie 🥧 The staff is wonderful; friendly and accommodating. The cappucino is, to my taste, the best around neighborhood here. The hot chocolate is not pre-made with powder, but they give you chocolate to melt in hot milk at your table. This makes it taste really delicious so I can definitely recommend that as well. In conclusion; get over here and experience it for yourself, you will NOT regret it!
