We were working right outside the door. And a local resident treated us to a drink here. Where do you still see that these days? It looked very neat inside. The toilet was also clean. The staff was very friendly. And it was pleasantly busy, that says it all. If I'm in the neighborhood, I'll come back again with my wife.

The café itself is beautifully decorated and has a warm, inviting atmosphere, though it is quite small and can get a bit crowded with limited seating. I especially enjoyed spending part of my morning there, reading a book in the sunlit room while sipping a fresh mint tea. A cozy place that is definitely worth a visit.

A truly lovely little spot! We come here regularly and are always served in a super friendly manner by the staff and Ellie. The coffee and chai latte are very tasty, and the lunch dishes are always well-seasoned. They mainly serve traditional Dutch lunch dishes with a modern twist. And you definitely shouldn't skip the pastries!

We get lost and find this place by chance. Specially after meeting lovely old lady working there it make me felt like at home. Their main idea and philosophy of running this cafe effected me more deeply. Becsuse lost my dad who has demans, 2 months ago. Love this place a lot..

Delicious breakfast, great coffee, and a cozy atmosphere. They work with wonderful people with dementia; it's a unique, welcoming, and beautiful place. Definitely worth it! And even on beautiful winter days, you can sit on the terrace in the sun. Fantastic!

We had high tea here and were very satisfied. It's a plus that cappuccino is included in addition to coffee and tea, and it was delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount, and everything tasted delicious and freshly made. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a good high tea in a cozy coffee shop!

A fantastic coffee shop in my neighborhood (Woensel West). Delicious cakes, coffee, tea, breakfast, lunch, and high tea. Last Thursday, I had high tea as a Mother's Day gift. It was truly wonderful, with a nod to the past and more than enough. Everything was beautifully presented on beautiful tableware. We were allowed to take home any leftover cakes. The price-quality ratio is absolutely fantastic. You just feel welcome, like you're in someone's living room. See you soon!

That's why the service was excellent and the food was great. It's also very affordable. Highly recommended, as it was also a very pleasant experience.

Great coffee shop! Delicious coffee and homemade pastries. Cozy atmosphere, both inside and outside. You wouldn't expect it when you drive up, but it's definitely worth a stop.

Nice coffee shop where people with dementia help with serving and in the kitchen! The coffee and lunch are highly recommended. Ordered a cup of coffee with a sandwich for lunch for 10 euros. The cup of coffee is also very nicely decorated.

Yesterday I had a delicious high tea with an old colleague. What a nice welcome, and a nice table was already set outside. We got a lot of delicious snacks, homemade and according to grandma's recipe. Really recommended to go there. Keep it up ladies, we will come back soon.

We were looking for a café for 15 people as part of a family vacation. We quickly found what we were looking for via Google Maps and came across Smaakmakers. We were immediately charmed by the food, service and ambience. With the playground right next to the café, it is a great destination for the family. Next time you visit Eindhoven, I’ll be happy to do it again👍🏻

I can't help but agree with all the positive reviews, what a great and cozy coffee cafe. Smaakmakers is located in a very nice location in a nice cozy neighborhood in Eindhoven, this atmosphere continues in the café or on the terrace if the weather permits. The food and drinks are delicious and you notice that there is a lot of passion and love in it, and this also applies to the people with dementia who gain confidence and self-esteem here, you see the pride when they serve. Very nice and cozy family tea/coffe place. It is nice for coffee, tea and small bites. Expect very warm and thoughtful service :). Not very common feeling in the Netherlands nowadays. So try it out ;)

This weekend I went to Smaakmakers for the umpteenth time - such a great café! Lovingly furnished, friendly people and a great atmosphere. The coffee, the food and the constantly changing cakes are a highlight every time! If you're looking for a café with passion, the best egg salad in the city and delicious coffee, you've come to the right place - everything is freshly prepared and totally familiar, a real top recommendation! :)

I'd rather not tell you how much I enjoy eating here: I'm afraid I won't be able to find a place next time... In short, a nice concept, good food, good atmosphere. The only downside: room temperature of 23 degrees zero C is a bit too warm for my taste...

Absolutely great! Very friendly and pleasant staff. We had coffee, tea, two drinks, a bread platter and a pastry each and we spent less than 22 euros. Price quality is really great. Highly recommended!

Wat een overheerlijke high tea hebben we daar gehad! Echt een verrassende aanrader en meer dan genoeg. Wij lunchen regelmatig daar omdat het zo’n fijne plek is. Dat dan alles ook nog eens zelfgemaakt is, is natuurlijke helemaal een culinair cadeautje 🩷👌🏻🩷👌🏻🩷 Draag ze sowieso een warm hart toe omdat ze hier ook dagbesteding geven aan mensen met dementie. Daar geven ze ook graag alle info over.

Waar moet ik beginnen bij deze review jaa uiteraard bij het begin. Ik kom hier zo af en toe een latte machiato to go halen. En wat een genot om hier je bakje koffie te halen! De mensen moeder en dochter zijn super lief! En de koffie is geweldig! Ook het koffie zaakje vind ik super gezellig aangekleed! Als je in de buurt bent moet je zeker een keer langs gaan.

Wat een heerlijke plek om naar toe te gaan voor koffie en gebak. De volgende keer ga ik lunchen :-)! Eigenaresses zijn moeder en dochter, je ziet zoveel bezieling en vreugde. Een pareltje in Eindhoven!!

Prachtig initiatief! Echt fantastische service met veel liefde. Het eten is ook super lekker. Dít is nu echt een koffiezaak die iets toevoegt aan de wijk.

Wat een leuk plekje zeg!! Na een mooie ochtendwandeling heb ik hier een koffie en een croissantje besteld. Beide waren heerlijk, de serveersters waren erg vriendelijk en het interieur was erg knus.

Smaakmakers is een fantastisch concept, gerund door 2 power vrouwen en tante Ellie. Het eten is super lekker en het ziet er zo gezellig uit. Ik kan iedereen aanraden om hier lekker te gaan lunchen!

Mooi initiatief en leuke mensen. Ook als je elke keer net voor sluitingstijd komt krijg je toch nog een bakkie 😋
