We got fries with war sauce without the war sauce which was in a separate container

I ordered fries and snacks tonight. Snacks tasted good. But the fries were really not tasty. The fries were very pale, not cooked? For me the last time.

Nice place where you get help quickly, prices are a bit high, but the quality is there too. Friendly staff, the lady behind the counter was patient and helped us quickly.

Been here for years and years. Friendly staff that just goes with the interior. The place is nice and clean. No smelly grease. Products taste good. The fries are fine. Frans is a household name in the neighborhood and there are always a lot of people. You can also order sandwiches and even half a chicken.

SCAMMERS! Prices on the site are incorrect. They add 10 cents to everything. You are being cheated in front of you, they don't ask if you want a bag, you just get it and yes, you pay for it. See photos for receipt and screenshot of the "prices"

Have been eating here for years and really good snack bar but lately they have been making A LOT of mistakes. A mistake can happen, but lately something has often been missing or I have received something that I did not order.

Getting more and more expensive

I regularly get something here, but only when I really don't feel like driving a little further for my fries. Generally fine, looks neat too, but the most important product; I think the fries are bad. Fries are removed from the fat too quickly and then poorly salted. Shame.

Despite the crowds, I was outside again in no time with excellent food as always.

My husband, being Dutch, was craving a "Berehap met pindasaus" with chips from a local snack bar. So he ended up in Snackbar Frans. It is very small inside but extremely busy. It is apparent that snack bars are really loved in the Netherlands. At the order counter you can see a lot of pre-formed raw snacks ready to choose from , so that they can be cooked for you. Then they are fried or deep fried. In this particular snack bar, the chips are already cooked and waiting in a hot tray or box. The chips are taken from a supply of frozen thin chips of potato that they order in. They deep fry them and cover them in salt. Apart from being salty, they are thin and mostly turn out to be hollow in the middle, but people in NL love them. They are nothing like the delicious chips I am used to in the UK, but fair do's. I have an English palate and the Dutch have a Dutch palate. We can't all like everything! My husband loves food from the Dutch snack bars. He really enjoyed his Berehap, whatever it is. Looks like slices of sausage with large slices of onion in between each meat slice and then covered in a peanut butter-type sauce. I tried a bit and I didn't like it. My husband loved it.I had chips only, but they were too salty and too hollow for me! This particular snack bar is always really popular and very busy! There are a couple of seats inside where some people eat what they ordered, but most people take their food home to eat. I am positive that my husband will return here in the near future, even if I will not. It looks quite clean and well organised inside.

Quite expensive. Fries with are delivered with loose sauce instead of on top.
