It was really busy, so I had to wait a bit for my order to be taken. But the wait was worth it. The fries and sauces were delicious, and everything I could see looked good too. Many locals pre-ordered and picked up to-go. I was the only (obvious) tourist. The staff worked very quickly and yet were very attentive. Really professional! Since it's a fast-food joint, the decor is naturally very simple, but it's perfectly fine. Very fair prices; I highly recommend it.

Hendo Snackbar in Leiden is highly recommended! Excellent snack bar with a very wide selection; everything is super fresh and perfectly prepared. You can taste the quality and there's something for everyone. Friendly service and always quick service. Definitely one of the best snack bars in Leiden!

Ordered fries with kapsalon, but the meat was raw and undercooked; the food wasn't hot either. You only taste the powder in the milkshake, not the flavor of the one you ordered. The ground beef was very overcooked; both were thrown away. Not tasty. The croquettes still had bits of ice in them. Don't order here again; they're not warned. You count for two. I vomited and felt sick within 20 minutes of eating. I wouldn't recommend eating here. Immediately felt sick, nauseous, and had stomach cramps.

A great snack bar with excellent food, but if you're used to the Hendo on Hoge Rijndijk, this is unfortunately a downgrade. The restaurant is dated and messy, and the staff doesn't seem particularly enthusiastic about their work, and it shows. The professionalism of Hoge Rijndijk is lacking here, which is a real shame. Of course, I don't expect Michelin-starred practices from a snack bar, but a bit of customer service and not shouting in the background are good general guidelines. However, the prices are reasonable, and the food is excellent.

Unfortunately, the order wasn't complete, and when you try to call, you only get a recording and have to call customer service. (We'll just order the special frikandel next time.) We'll definitely be back, as the rest was delicious.

Wild weather is eating old-fashioned fries at the Hendo. Unfortunately not the fries they used to have. It was still fine to do.

Cycling here from the Merenwijk because the fries and snacks are great. And the staff, always so nice, is hard to come by anymore. We like coming here.

Although required by law, there are no prices on the menu! When asked, the owner jokes that these are 'daily prices' and that they have not shown prices to customers for 50 years. Nonsense! You can even see the chalk smudges on the menu board where prices were once listed. "The prices of the products are on the website," said the owner. The latter is also not the case! Again, legally required! The owner also indicates that he is never asked about prices. As if it's too much to ask a reasonable question about this. In addition to this unpleasant experience, you get the suspicion that this snack bar holder is trying to get the most out of your wallet! Too bad, and I don't think it's really necessary for the snack bar on the corner.

Middel frietje speciaal besteld, friet was prima in vorm en stevig. Voldoende saus. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Je kan hier altijd lekker eten.

Dat is jaren geleden (>20 j) dat ik hier regelmatig kwam. In mijn herinnering was het toen altijd ok. Hoe is het nu? De raspatat is zoals die hoort te zijn. De groentekroket is ok. De milkshake is ook goed, smaakt zoals die in elke snackbar hoort te zijn. De tent is groter geworden, de ruimte aan de linkerkant is er bij getrokken. Daar kun je zitten en er staan speelautomaten. De twee mannen die bakken hebben hun handen vol aan de frituur apparaten want ze zijn het vet aan het vervangen maar dat geeft wat problemen. Tussendoor worden de paar klanten (het is 21:00 uur) goed geholpen zo ook ik. Geen opmerkingen verder. Zo simpel is het. Je kunt hier gerust heen gaan. Oh Ja parkeren is gratis en je vindt wel een plekje.

Dit is echt met recht, de allerbeste patatzaak/boer van de regio. Het eten is altijd, met 1 woord te verwoorden. Perfect. Je wordt daar altijd leuk behandeld, en goed geserveerd. Er zit zelf een soort kroegje aan waar je gezellig kan zitten drinken, of eten. En het is er zo gezellig, dat het net is alsof je thuis komt. Een absolute aanrader dus. Eet smakelijk allemaal.

Fijne gezellige snackbar. Alleen deze keer wat normaal niet zo is, verkeerde sauzen op meerdere producten en de Saté aangebrand. Normaal altijd prima kwaliteit, en geen fouten.

Heerlijk gegeten met de maten, super sfeer en prettige service

Lijkt een soort dekmantel ipv goede snackbar. Eten is slecht en nemen de bestellingen onnauwkeurig op waardoor ik 2x benadeeld ben. Nooit niet dat ik hier nog een bestelling plaats, personeel lijkt er ook geen zin in te hebben en elke nacht vage personen daar aanwezig buiten bij de snackbar.

Top lekker patat. Eén van de betere patat zaak van leiden. Denk zelfs de beste.

Leuke snackbar. Altijd fris en schoon met restauratie ruimte, rolstoel toegankelijk en ook toiletten aanwezig. Hendo verkoopt veel uit eigen keuken. Voor de snackbar een klein terras, handig bij het mooie weer. Let op: Parkeren is niet gratis.
