Really friendly atmosphere and good snacks!

Skip this one. While Sabrina is very nice, the kitchen still has a lot to learn. They can't make an omelet; it's tasteless and dry. The sandwich, without butter, was the same. It's also quite pricey.

I expected more meat for a €17 kapsalon. Otherwise, the service and atmosphere were excellent.

I loved the informal, peaceful setting, the pleasant service from Marga, and the great breakfast food served anytime of day.

A super delicious snack. The cheese soufflé was very crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You rarely get anything like that. Delicious fries and very friendly owners. Highly recommended if you're looking for fries.

We had breakfast there on Sunday before we went to Rijksacademie. Both a pancake and latte. Price quality was perfect. Where you often pay 15-20 euros at pancake houses, the most simple pancake was 5 euros, I had that, nice and plain with a little butter and powdered sugar. Partner had a fruit pancake, strawberries and blueberries, 10 euros. It's not so much about the price, but about the taste and this was good. In addition, a business stands or falls with the service and friendliness. We were helped by a very friendly Spanish lady who spoke several languages. NLDS ENGLISH SPANISH. Top. Had a nice chat because I am also Spanish. Nice food tent opposite the entrance to Artis.

Pay 15 for a hamburger menu, it doesn't even include bread. They throw 2 dry pieces of meat on a mountain of fries. Very lazy

Cold cheese soufles. 2 of the 3 fries were forgotten to be delivered. In the end, the two bowls of fries brought later were still cold and I have never had so much salt on fries before.

I do not recommend this place. I ordered a kebab and got minced meat in it… and inside was only lettuce, no other veggies. The price was waaaay to high for this kind of small thing.

Perfect little restaurant to kick back from the busy Amsterdam life and enjoy the traditional Dutch pancakes. With a location directly across from the entrance to the Artis zoo it is easily accessible. The pancakes are not at all like American pancakes, they cover the whole plate and are closer to French crepes than to American pancakes that are more fluff and stuff. Try the traditional stroop which basically is a very thick syrup yet way more flavorful. The chocolate pancakes are actually Nutella. We had a very enjoyable experience eating them as a meal...

Die Pommes waren nicht so lecker. In der Mitte noch halb roh! Der Service war okay. Ambiente kann man nicht drüber reden. Man sitzt in einem zusammen gewürfeltem Pavillon. Nicht unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Helaas was wat ik wilde niet beschikbaar. Het eten gaf niet veel voldoening. Hamburger en pannenkoek waren niet bijzonder, pannenkoek was net aan gaat.

Bestelde falafel vergeten. Bij terugkomst konden ze niet duiden waarom dit was gebeurd. Geen falafel gekregen, wel voor betaald. Kebab schotel was vers gemaakt en lekker, wel weinig friet.

Lekkere patat en super vriendelijke mensen! Kom hier regelmatig wat afhalen. Broodje hamburger ook top. Rest nog niet geprobeerd.

couldn’t finish the hamburger taste was really bad and when i asked for frikandel speciaal with ketchup i got it with ketchup AND curry which i have never ever had before and it’s awful

Goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Gezellig en rustig om te zitten. Snelle en vriendelijke bediening. Vers eten en lekkere patat. Recht tegenover de ingang van Artis dus perfect na een dagje dierentuin!

The best thing about the snackbar is that its conveniently located across the Artis. (Went here after micropia) and they have a terrace (significant improved required). Pros - location, across artis for a quick bite. - fries were doable. - food was quick. Improvement - skip the poffertjes at all cost, after a complaint, they offered us a new portion, but with little improvement to the taste. - improve the terrace, a bit messy and unorganised.

Cheerful, and very friendly staff, diverse cuisine and very generous portions. Also the location is perfectly located in front of ARTIS door.
