Delicious, crispy fries. I get fries and a vegetable croquette here every month. The fries are crispy. The owner is friendly. And today I got a bonus vegetable croquette. My favorite snack bar in the Jordaan and all of Amsterdam. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hugely underrated. The boss takes a while to get started and take your order, but afterward, you get a great meal. He's a chill guy; first drinks and food, then you pay. This kind of hospitality is something you miss in a city like Amsterdam, so we're glad we found it here.

Only spoiled yuppie comments here. I had a truly fantastic experience: fresh fries, pleasant conversations with the owner. That's all you need in a snack bar.

During a long walk, three FEBO restaurants were closed, so we went here to get our fries and snacks. The most delicious fries! Crispy, home-cut potatoes, truly a great place!

A gem in the Jordaan! The owner cuts and peels the potatoes himself every day. Super friendly service, and the peanut sauce is also excellent.

Hands down the best fries I've ever had. Better than fabel friets. Inside was so fluffy and the taste was very potato-ey. Definition of hole in the wall, didn't see any hygiene issues that other people have mentioned.

We stumbled upon this little gem while walking around the neighbourhood. Sure the place wasn’t the neatest but I think that gives it a more authentic snack bar feel 😉 we ordered a Turkish pizza and doner pack and both were really good! As others have said the fries are double fried so it’s super delicious and crunchy ☺️ the owner is a sweet man. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area!

Oh, what a filth here. All stars higher than 1 must have been bought. There is food everywhere, the shoarma spit is covered in stains and it is one big mess.

You definitely don't have to go here, the most disgusting snack bar you have ever seen. Besides the fact that it is dirty, it also looks very disorganized. There is all kinds of stuff everywhere, empty packaging, pieces of onion, things that have not been tidied up, cigarette packs are everywhere, for which more money is charged than necessary... And if you ask why they are suddenly even more expensive, you get a very big mouth... No, you absolutely don't have to go here...

The owner is very unpleasant and does not help the customer. We asked him 2 questions and he answered both of us wrong. We ended up ordering a hamburger, fries and a pizza. Everything was very bad, the next day we ended up with 5 people with stomach pain.

Are you in Amsterdam come to this place for your snacks good people work here and the food is amazing just try it price is good too

Jesus, what a store, everything burned and no nutritious food on my plate. Would rather have a bite of cow shit than eat this burnt piece of food without any decency.

This is truly the dirtiest hair salon I have ever eaten in my life. Cold chicken cubes instead of warm döner. Nasty shredded cheese instead of normal cheese. Thin garlic and sambal. I would give it a rating of 3. And would recommend staying as far away from this snack bar as possible.

Always liked coming there for 1 fries to take home. That was basically nice. But one time the owner suddenly said that there was still money outstanding from a larger order, but that wasn't me, plus I always have cash or a debit card with me and would never leave a debt outstanding in a store. He said well, then leave it alone. So after six months I came back and he immediately started complaining again that I had not paid the outstanding bill. I said again "that really wasn't me, word of honor" but he didn't believe me, kept swearing and being grumpy. So I'll never go there again.

Unsuspectingly stopping for a snack? That ended badly. I was yelled at and told to fuck off and never come back when I kindly double checked to make sure there were no allergens in my order. Bizarre experience.

These really are the tastiest fries in the Jordaan. Unfortunately, prices have almost doubled. :( I think 4.50 for a frikadel sandwich is extreme.

Very friendly owners who sell good fries, great location if you are out late at night getting some cigarettes and need a quick bite

Great little snackbar in the Jordaan. The fries are double fried (so good!) and hand cut by the proprietors. The owner is always friendly. Other than that it's a pretty typical snackbar!

O local é simples, mas surpreende. É para quem não tem frescura. Bom para um snack tarde da noite, poucos lugares servem comida até tarde. Servem algumas comida típicas, como comida de rua.

Sometimes you just find an unexpected good place, in the middle of Italian restaurants and wine bars you will find this lovely snack bar. Great service, good snacks and opening times that will accommodate your cravings at any time.

Geweldige service, ook tijdens de koningsdag drukte. Eten was ook erg lekker.

A fast food place run by a very friendly Moroccan couple. Their chips are the best because the guy actually peels all the potatoes himself by hand. They do everything from hamburgers to turkish pizzas and kebabs. Very good prices and huge portions.
